[FONT=Arial][SIZE=7]I was at Gamestop and the people there actually got a disc of what looked to be a walkthrough of the oblivion game.

of course this wasnt the full game but it showed parts of the game (e.g.)The opening part in the prison cell with the emperor and the hidden passage and the forests and like the fighting and it was all great.

i asked the manager there if he would let me buy the disk (lol) he said that he wasnt alowed to sell it because of "copyright laws" or some crap like that.

but it was running in real time and i was able to see the interface options and how the diolouge ran in captions along with real time lip syncingness and i was happy.

though im not sure at the moment as to wheter or not they will decide to release this to the public over internet, but all we can do is hope... otherwise the people at gamestop will think im crazy... which im not saying im not.....*twitch*

but all in all, the game can use some improvements, it was running a bit slow (could be because he was in walk mode the whole time ) and there were a few framerate issues with it still, but the combat, the new user interface, and the story looks like it will keep us occupied and captivated for a while.

if you look hard enough you should be able to find it on the internet but i dont think its legal yet. plus that was pretty old footage and about 90% of the visuals of you saw have been in some way tweaked undoubtedly.

oh well i was kinda happy when i saw it becuase ive looked for videos and when i saw this it was like really cool.

yeah i wasnt sure whether or not the footage was released, and frankly, i dont wanna look for that online kus some random guy might arrest me

That same DVD will be coming bundled with an upcoming issue of... uh... I think it was the Official Xbox Magazine. After that, a slightly lower-quality version will be released on the Elderscrolls.com website.

I saw this too at Blockbuster the other day. I would have stayed and watched the whole thing, but my sister was waiting in the car... and definitly not in a good mood.

P.S. I checked while at Blockbuster, they have the release date for Oblivion set for the ninth of December, while the 360 is still on the 22 of November. Lets just hope they are wrong.

Deathbane27 was right, the DVD has now been released attached to the Official Xbox Magazine. There's a sticky about it on the Bethesda forums http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=166830

As an aside, Pete Hines commented in http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?act=findpost&pid=3080389 that there will be new videos released this week. They usually do the updates on Fridays, around 9am their time (which is 11pm for me ). One theory being kicked around is that it'll be an offical and legally-downloadable copy of this E3 demo video.

Edit: The "update tomorrow" Pete mentions in that post was the Oblivion theme music posted last Friday.

if you have already seen the 20 minute leaked preview, you dont need to download these, cause its the exact same thing.

You all must keep in mind that this is simply a preview. The final version will undoubtivly be running faster. And, of course, I don't think we'll start with a full set of steel armor.

I must say though, I am in love wth this game already.

While this might be older footage i still wonder if they've done any touch up with the faces in relation to speaking (And really the walking in general)

I mean, when you were talking to the emperor his mouth moved but that was about it.. Kinda creepy me thinks

i like to move my mouse around and use the WASD keys to pretend i'm playing. i expect this to get me through the next month.

Anyways the lorrica(SP) the legionnaires (And possible blades) was wearing was awesome. It looked extremely detailed and quite appealing.. I can't wait

I was so desperate to see the footage again, i actually bought the OXM magazine and it came with the footage that i was talking about

now that i actually had a chance to be in an enclosed environment with the TV loud and the house quiet, i picked up on things that, otherwise, i wouldnt be able to see/hear.

this game is amazing and i cant wait to get that ever tempting daedric bow and kill all the people.

after, of course, i run over fargoth with a horse, and by god, i will find him no matter how long it takes

only a couple more days and with that 3 days of for thanksgiving, every1 can rest assured that i will not be seeing the light of day for a while.... well i play World of Warcraft so ill be used to it... and my gf will probably dump me-- if she hasnt already

if what the first guy who posted after me was true, "they changed blah 90% something graphics" then the game should be fine

i saw some problems with the AI in the beginning of the game when the guards were walking into the walls, but it was cool to see the environments reacting as such, with the chains moving and the killing and the death and the explosions ghood-glahvin

I hope to god Todd Howard’s lying to us. I don’t think the new Rig im going to get can take an upgraded version of that

Oh i know, i was like crying when i saww all the beautiful ragdolly goodness

when hes in the tomb/dungeon thing, after the skeletons die and he's going down that corridor and the zombie comes up.. it was soo cool to see that in one blow it falls down and like goes into that ditch...

omg i want to play this game so badly

what im wondering is if you will be actually able to move bodies in the game so like... u can throw em off roof tops and make like a shower blood reign of doom and stuff, and u can start singin "...It's raining men..."

naww but i really believe that the game isnt being delayed, and if it is i will have to just pretend like im playing along to the video... except i wont be able to punch the emperor.. or hit on of his guards from across the room with one of the cups/drinking thingies on teh table

man i cant wait for this game

what characters are u guys gunna try to make and what else have u heard about the lockpicking/spell casting/enchanting elements?

The enviroments look amazing in the video. The forests are so pretty, and I love how the leaves sway. The darker dungeons look scary!
