Is it better when making a class to choose a class that they give you or to make your own custom class? And what do you guys call your custom classes that you make.
Well it basically depends on what you want for skills. If you want an odd combination, make a customer class. If they're practically all related, one of the given classes should work for you. My first character I picked the Assassin class because it had everything I wanted my assassin to have, Alchemy, Blade, Sneak, Secrurity, Marksmanship, etc..
The second time I mage a custom class mage because I wanted her to have good speechclass. I called the class a Diplomat.
That's a sweet name, but i dont know if it is as sweet as what i called my Redguard Custom Class character. I called her the Trix Rabbit.
Too bad she'll never enjoy the taste of Trix. They're for kids ya know!?
One time I gave my Orc Character in Morrowind the Custom Class of Pimp.
Hahaha ... my hubby Cain made a Custom Class called Brawler once in Oblivion. Heavy armor and Hand-to-hand only fighting with his fists, no weapons ... he was cool.
In Morrowind I made a Custom Class called Banker and then I downloaded Gnomes mod by Jess and named all these little gnome bankers = Mr. Drysdale, Miss Hathaway, Jed Clampett, Jethro Clampett and by popluar demand - Granny Clampett and of course, EllieMae Clampett. I put these tiny little bankers on countertops throughout Vvardenfell cities and made them in charge of the entire economy in this mod. heheha!!
I'm making a new Nord Barbarian type character, and his class name is baby eater.
I'm afraid your Nord is going to go hungry in Oblivion then. There's no children on Nirn it seems!
Eh, Imps are small enough to be considered ugly, winged children. I guess he (or she) can eat those...
teeheehee Mallet ... I can see you improvise well enough to not go hungry in any country.
In answer to you question about answering the questions or choosing a class - for saving time, I usually pick a class that has the armor rating and weapon types that I want and then do substitutions .. getting rid of talents I dont want and add ones I do.
I almost always use custom class because i have to have a well-rounded character (not a solid mage/fighter). But I love agents, if only they had light armor!!!!!
a custom class but you must first plan out your skills on paper
