(Please let me know if what I'm doing is illegal)
Lately for some number of days I have been translating the TES world into a D&D format. Any help will be appreciated and If what I am doing is not illegal the results will be posted on my (upcoming) website (expect it to be a rather low-end site). Well, I have lots of work to do....

I dunno if its legal or not but it sounds cool. I'll wait patiently for it...while asleep.

It's nice to see that somebody actually cares about this
I was thinking about dropping it but if people really do want it I suppose I could go through with it.

So you are creating a TES World Campaign Setting aye? This sound interesting, thought its a hell lot of work if your going to do the whole TES World. I've played D&D for about 3 years, if there's anything you could need some help on, then please just ask

Thanks for the offer I'll be sure to take you up on it.

Keep in mind that TES started out as a D&D campaign by the devs, before they made computer games out of it

And those devs no longer work for Bethesda.

True. Which means you can probably get in touch with them without much hassle for tips

Getting in touch with any of them is very difficult.

Yeah I figured, that's why I'm doing it myself.
Currently I have hit somewhat of a snag with supplies, paper, ink and such (my Player's manual seeming to have vanished into nothingness) and I have too rely off of anything I can print that Wizards of the Coast are willing to let go.

what do you need from the manual?
I could PM you some excerpts...
Edit : Actually...I don't want to type an entire manual.

I just need the little title things from under the race descriptions. The stuff like "Dwarf Male Names, Elven Lands, Appearince" But I just need the titles not the text itself.

Well I was just trying to remember just what they were.... and obviously not doing a very good job I guess.

Hmm, well.. Can I just ask one question, if your going to make the TES World into D&D -
What books do you have? What D&D books?
Posted by: Intestinal Chaos Jul 26 2005, 09:41 PM
This was much easier the first time I did it
I wish I hadn't thrown all my old TES/DND papers away....

Monster Manual 1&2, Dungeon Master's Guide, Deities and Demigods, and a missing copy of the player's manual.
So you COULD say I don't have the player's manal since it has been missing since 2 years ago
Stargelman: Please use the edit button instead of making 4 consecutive posts, thanks.

Well.. if I was going to create TES into D&D and put really hard work into and all, I would at least have Players Handbook, Dungeon Master Guide 1 and 2. Monsters Manual etc. I have around 12 D&D books so..

I'm a D&D geek thought it has been some time since I've played..

I'm always broke, so as far as books I have to get any that can be given to me. Just what books do you have? (no I'm not asking you for handouts)

Well it stands much in Dungeon Master's Guide, pluss with MM I & II u can compare TES monster's to monsters in the books. Deties and Demigods I think has something in it too.. Dont know..
Posted by: Intestinal Chaos Jul 26 2005, 10:04 PM
Yeah, I had already figured all of that. My monsters manual 1 is in pieces (child attack) though... I taped it all together but it's a pain to turn any of the pages.

Well.. if your really taking this serious about making it into the D&D World then u should try to get a copy of Dungeon Master Guide II and also go by the D&D Forums on the website, think some there play Morrowind..

I actually hadn't thought that the DM manual 2 would be that needed, I figured it was just all gravy like so many other "needed" books. I could never fork over the extra $50 for it anyways, I'm saving up for a new computer (and using these library computers sucks)

Well anyways, back to work

Ergh agh, running into many complications... I just might drop the project... but not any time soon. I wouldn't expect it to come out fully developed if I were any of you
