Since the new forum is still not back up I'm creating this temporary version of my W4O-Bestiary thread....
So, let's head for the next creature:
The Giant Spider
The picture was not yet uploaded to the W4O-Site so I'm only going to show you some samples
notes:
-Done in about 4 hours because I haven't got a lot of time at the moment
-completely done digital by using openCanvas and Photoshop
-don't look at those pictures in case you've got an arachnophobia ![]()
-no, I'm not afraid of spiders, I think they're pretty interesting. Got some bigger ones running around in my room from time to time
That's some seriously nice work Amberfox. I have no idea how purely digital art works though - I can draw alright normally, and I can edit digital pictures, but I've got no idea how you can go about starting an entirely computer-generated pictures.
Looks great as always Ambber.. :goodjob:
Looks good chief! Might wanna keep it a surprise though and do the run-down after? Up to you really
Thats how i like to do the daedra anyways
thanks again for your comments, guys! ![]()
Aw, I'm so jealous! All I can draw is a little spider with (six? eight? dozen?) big googly eyes... Like something out of Precious Moments or something.
But, you, you draw in so much detail! :goodjob: I can practically imagine it as a real spider... So realistic... and kind of... cute.
Wow those are some awesome pictures. Swords that would be awesome. You do awesome work.
*looks out from where the spider sent him cowering in fear*
:paperbag:
Is the spider gone? Oh, wait. It isn't real...

Usually I'd also prefer to keep it a secret until the picture has been added to the site, this time however I didn't really know wether I would have any time to write something about my newest picture for the Bestiary because I haven't got a lot of free time - so basically I did it before the newest adition was revealed
. I also forgot to mention that there won't be any weekly updates for the next three weeks because I've got holidays then and won't be at home (going to norway, by the way!
)
I've also got some ideas for some sword-sketches I might do then and which you could use as a reference for a 3D-model in case you're interested :goodjob:[/quote]
Yeah im very tied up with work and moving and finding a new job at the mo so the daedra section has slowed somewhat. As for the sketches, that sounds cool
send me some links via PM (or jpgs) so i have them on record for later
After a looooong break, I'm glad I can finally present you the next part of the W4O-Bestiary
?????
Will be posted as soon as it has been uploaded to W4O
Ooh...i wonder...
Gah, damn you teasing us with that!
What the? Is it those warriors in daedric armour from the movie?
woah.....teasing yes..canīt wait to see it complete...looking great as usual
hehe, I think you'll find out tomorrow...
http://www.waiting4oblivion.com/images/trailer/elder_scrolls_oblivion_trailer_screenshot_0105.jpg Yikes, dismemberment looks like its in.
He has no right leg.
I see a strange resemblence, I was thinking a watery critter
It was a joke Aki.
Oh yeah, creatures...
by the way, Stargel told me it'll probably be uploaded tomorrow

so it was a frost atronarch
It looks like you drew it on tinfoil. It's so shiny! Wow...
since I'll have to begin with a 9-month-lasting civil-service (due to the crappy system here in germany) the first of september, I'm not too sure about when the next Bestiary-picture will be ready. In the worst case it might be that the frost atronach is the last picture I'll have ever done for W4O
AmbberFox
That Atronach looks awesome. It brings a whole new level of badassry to them... ^__^
