K well I'm trying to get back into doing some more artwork, but schedule is busy and what not, with college and all.
SO I'm just gonna share things as they come, starting of is this sketch i drew. not really TES related, but It's sort of using some of my features to draw this elf. i never finished of his hair, but i don't see any reason to really.
Will add more, as I get more lol.
eyes are a tad big but otherwise tis very good. the hair also looks nice and the ears are very elfish and cool
*curses himself for never learning how to draw*
lol, yah there's lot's wrong, but it's a sketch and it will remain as is.
here's another one that is pretty old, and interesting entirely CG on PAINT! old school, and tedious therefore dropped after a while. In fact in hindsight, I have no idea why i continued on with the project. LOL
just play as a slideshow it is really cool. at least i think it is ![]()
http://community.webshots.com/slideshow?ID=132759335&key=mHdEYf
not to bad I can't draw so to me it is excelent
I'm currently working on a "tribal" design. basically i'm just drawing an design lol. well I was fiddling with it and made this HAHA, thought you'd enjoy this rose window.
I know it doesn't align perfectly al the way around, but it still looks pretty sweet.
Awesome pictures Megil, truely talented.
Very good Megil.....you definitely have great talent......Iīd like to see more of your excellent work....
nice megil, nice
Very funky. i love the big eyes actually, adds to the innocence of the Elves.
Wicked pattern too
That design is flippin' awesome dude!
Wow
holy friggin crap Megil thats awesome. You should become a tatto artist or something.
Tribal Art is my Favourite!
Good work Megil!
Tribal is cool. I suck though, can't do a good design w/o taking someone else's

um yah a 10 second sketch that came out of nowhere O.o just picked up the pencil and voila it came into existence.

edward my character for our new RP.
Very nicely done, kinda looks like Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist.
mmm twas my inspiration and model. and his name is Edward, As in my char, not maes. sigh I love that show.
sry. I'm jsut a geek, and I like how they sort of accuretly base it on plato's four elements theory, which is the basis for alchemy later inhistory. and i like how it follwos the rules of chemistry at teh same time.... well with the exception of the 4 elemens, since there are 110 or so elements.
And I'm getting better at not using a model for my drawings, like i only used Hughe's face for the drawing, the rest is my own work. and it is freehad i didnt trace the face. I have a barista picture that I am in the preliminary stages of, drawing it without a model.
no worries, i too am a geek. used to watch Inuyasha, now i'm tired of the lack of plot advancement... and i LOVE Trigun
but anyway it really is a nice drawing. i wonder why i can't draw... maybe it's genetic or something.
lol dunno, I just spend a lot of time on things. Seeing as how i've spent much of my day in bed due to my wisdom teeth, I have had plenty of time to draw it.
I think another reason why I based it on hughes is that that hand motion is precisely what i had in mind for the edwards drawing. sicne i do it all the time( dunno why i just don't like a full hand wave) and it seems to be something hughes does a lot.
by request from channler. Yes it's very rough. I tried to draw it with perspective, and it was my first time drawing a gun. Hopefully it's not to bad.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/juacfinal.jpg
Changed [IMG] tags into a link
-Rane
Not bad at all Megil, nice that you catch the reflecting lighting in the scope on the pistol too...
oh oh do Mark next
i mean you dont have to or nuthin...
and the drawing of juac is very nice and i like that emblem that you did for the HDF
as for the gun, you say its your first? because that bullet is insanely huge for a handgun. but i like it that way, gives the picture a more interesting feel and adds to the whole cocky naval pilot stereotype.
and the scope/light thingy lookes really cool also with the whole light glare off of it.
yah I realize the bullet was a bit big, but since the guns are magnetic now I guessed that the bullets could be longer. since they would not longer need to have ammunition packed into the casings.
Hmm i'll see what I can do with Mark. mgiht as well try drawing him. i have nothing else to do lol.
I like it, I love it, I want some more of it ![]()
Awesome job Megil
Actually that sorta looks like me right now.. O_o Crazy hair, unshaven.. wow..
not bad megil

The beginnings of my next work.
This one looks interesting Megil... Nice to see that your posting the development of your work
That way you can get advice too without needing to change much...
Anyway.. Looks good so far... Only one thing, if she is resting her head on her hand you should try to move the hand a little more against the face so the hand palm or what you call it is under the chin - Seems more natural. Or it might just be me
Alright well I'm still working on the girl, but ehre is another picture I have started for a friend. She jokingly asked me if i could draw her a butterfly, I said sure. and well just drawing a butterfly was boring, o i have expanded on it to what you see below, Its a prelim shot, and i haven't finished adding the flower or butterfliys. the picture will be title plum blossoms and butterflies, for ovbious reasons
Alright, you see the one above, the upper left corner of the picture has been finished. here is a cropped picture to include only that which has been finished.
Beautiful...
Ahh Megil..that is very beautiful...honestly.....you are good you know that?
Thanks
. and I'm stil learning (i.e. teaching myself) so it's far from being perfect, and any of ammberfox's works will put mine to shame ^ ^, So i just keep working hoping to get better.
Update
alright since the file is so big it will push the border way out, here is a link to show what i have finished with what need to be done.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/art/branch1.jpg
Amazing Megil. Truely and utterly amazing.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/art/branchdetail2.jpg
That which is done, it's nearly 50% now *lol* needless to say it is taking longer than expected. I did nto know it would be this tough.
well it is good, keep it up
Great work here Megil. You take your time and it comes out well, good that you added texture to the tree branch too, I think it will come out great!
Very good Megil......itīs a sheer beauty that drawing....Iīll show it to my daughter sheīs kind of an artist too.....homemade artist that is!
a quick fractal I made, and also my first to render:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/pattern2.jpg
Not at all minque.
Aww thanks! You are so nice.....Also I like your black and white patterns..you know those that look like something I could very well think of having as a tattoo.....they are soo great, how do you come up with them?
ah yes, those are very evolutionary works. the usually take several weeks or months to come into shape. In essence they start out as doodles when I'm bored, often an interesting line that catches my fancy. i then work of the line adding on to itand sometimes changing it. everytime it drawn it changes. When I get to go home for Thanksgiving I will scan a variation of the one I have posted here. I don't have alot as I bec ome addicted to one and don't stop until I think it's good. and even then I might go back and add something else.
another fractal:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/art/inabox.jpg
wow very nice Megil, I would uise it as a background but, alas, I already have a cool one I found on some web site....
http://www.deaddreamer.com/v10/freeze/ddr_0062_mis_fit.jpg
thanks, I am glad that you guys enjoy it and are using them as wallpapers, really is an honor.
I am getting the hang of this program now, so I can manipulate it better, my most recent and by far my most favorite piece.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/spikes.jpg
whats the program? can i download it?
wow, yes Megil, what is the program you are useing? I want to have something to do during my slow days....(mabey tonight....)
Whoa dude that blue spiral one is friggin' sweet, as soon as I save up the wallpaper I have now, I want to use that one!
sigh, well no point in being selfish, the program is freeware and it is called apophysis.
www.apophysis.org
umm that's as good a place to start as any, and I would give u tutorials , but figure it out yourself
you learn more that way.
Thanks Megil......those fractals are amazing.....I took the liberty of saving them...for further use as wallpapers......I have one of them at my desktop right now!
Just realized I haven't updated, here some more:

I think u would be a great graph designer!
Megil, You truely are the king of Fractils. They are so intricate and beutiful, surrounded by black and almost seem, fragile. Amazing job.
New one is up
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/884e00ad.jpg
And I am but a meager mortal compared to other fractal artists.
Extremely impressive work, Megil.
Woah, Megil! You are amazing...another great addition to my collection of Megil-fractals...
Btw since I use them as wallpapers, my daughters have seen them and they like them very much!
Is there a certain site showing the best of fractal artwork Megil? It would be interesting to see some from teh masters of..fractality.
Just look through deviant art, and you will see amazing fractals.
Cool! I like the first one, the butterfly one, and the tiled one the best.
And that last one has a nice color-scheme. Reminds me of a peacock. Very pretty.
Er, one thing: what's a fractal? Is that some kind of abstract art-form or something?
wow welcome back mergirl.
go http://www.apophysis.org/ for info
A fractal is a geometric pattern that is repeated at ever smaller scales to produce irregular shapes and surfaces that cannot be represented by classical geometry.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Patient_wizard/art/christmasplant.jpg

Two fresh hot the press:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/27795445/
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/27795607/
Those are definitely quite interesting pictures. I found it quite intriguing that the paths to wisdom and truth have great similarity to the earlier posted chaos. Is there some profound implication here, or am I reading too much into it?
Nice Megil!!!

I know it's been a while. had to sort some stuff out
done entirely on comp using a tablet. it's only part of an imag which will probably take me forever and a day to finish.
nice ^^ I like the way the clothing seems to moving to the right by the wind. It adds a lot of motion to the whole artwork. Patience ^^ I only work like an hour or less on an artwork each day else I go nuts and start to make a mess of it
As always I appreciate your work Megil.....you are marvellous!
so yeah i have like 500 projects going on at once lol
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/30272775/

http://www.deviantart.com/view/33255235/
Wow, truly artistic. Amazing work.
But....when's mother's day???
Bugger....Oh phew! In the UK its in march
Already been here in Norway, months ago..
It's today here in the states.
Megil! That was gorgeous.....and very sweet. Your mom is lucky......to have a son like you....
Motherīs day in Sweden is the last sunday in may, so thereīs still a chance Iīll get something nice .....hmmm who am I fooling, I bet none of my kids even remember it!
so the mother's day card sparked some ideas. so I have this project now, but I am not going to disclose much information apart from saying it is a series of paintings (and mayb a little bit more). so without further ado I give you the first entrant in the series.
Well Megil, I have two things to say. First off, I would like to say that all of your lastest6 work is amazing, expecially the flower... brilliant. Secondly, you've only made one page in my absence!? I was looking forward to lots more stuff
j/k your doin great (if that means anything to you) keep up the good work
Great work, Megil! I too love the clothes blowing in the wind & seemingly turning into the leaves. That one makes a very lasting impression.
The fractal is amazing. And the sketch you started for mother's day - that is beautiful. As is the bird-of-paradise flower. I like it all. Does your mother do like mine used to do and have a special place in the house where she displays all your artwork?
alright well I have been bogged down so I havent' progrsed in the series much, but here is the first in the Flora Wallpaper series
http://www.deviantart.com/view/34536391/
Wow! That's excelent work! Very aesthetic indeed
Megil, I just love your flowers....and about everything else youīre making......so beautiful so I donīt know what to say. Iīll never forget your wonderful thing you made for your mother on motherīs day!
Thanks you two
. I am glad you enjoyed it. This was the second in the series but I have opted to drop it since my mind seems to eb against it's completion. (it akes alot for me to open it up and work on it, and when i do get around to it I can't do it for long.)
http://www.deviantart.com/view/34572899/

#2 in the Flora Wallpaper Series by Tel'Zeke Production
that's realy cool
! The flowers look realy nice, is it digital or traditional work? I think it's nice that you didn't made the background just one color but also didn't made it to busy/chaotic. Cool
!
Just wonderful Megil! And I agree...tulips are gorgeous!
thanks guys
.
They are digitally done. Trying to do traditional, but the whole concept of being able to undo has hindered me hehe.
Simply beautiful and delicate florals, Megil. Superbly done.
Have you thought of combining digital and traditional methods? You mentioned "Trying to do traditional, but the whole concept of being able to undo has hindered me hehe."
If you have a scanner, printer, cd writer, etc. you could start your shapes and color them as much as you wanted to digitally and then put a nice toothy artpaper in your printer and print your pic out on the artpaper. Then use conventional methods to further enhance it - watercolor, soft pencil, whatever you prefer, etc. and then scan it back into your computer and continue to finish it off digitally again.
I've been wanting to try this .. but don't have my printer and scanner hooked up yet since my last reformat. Just busy modding in Morrowind lately. I do scan completely traditional watercolors and pastels into my computer and then digitally enhance them further with Photo Finish. But I've wondered how it would be to start the other way first ... digitally. Like if I need perfect circles I can get them in the Paint program. Or perfect straight lines. Instead of drawing it out with a compass or ruler in RL. I'll get around to trying it one of these days.
First fractal in ages:
http://www.deviantart.com/view/37347563/
Wow that's really eye confusing ... very great depth and concept angle there.
*sigh in awe* oh what a beauty! mmmmmmmmmmm
I still love your florals the best Megil .... there is something so crisp and crystallin and clear about them ... the colors just really sing out at you. You are really gifted, dude.
GOD, your so lucky Megil. For mother's day with talent like yours you can just draw her a incredibly beautiful picture while us untalented ppl have to buy her a crappy card and a toaster oven.
