My favorite part was how blocking recoils your enemy. You have to acttually plan your attcks. You can't just go in swinging a weapon anymore and expect to win.

Casting spells was cool too. Theres no ready magic button just a cast spell button.

looks really cool. Can't wait for it to come out

Im dubious about the recoiling from a strong blow. This would mean that you could effectively line up strings of attacks without any reposte, meanin at higher levels even thr tougher enemies will still be brought to their knees by a barrage of powerful strikes.

Which in turn means a level 1 charcter might be able to bring down a level 20 chacter.

Well more to the point, it means that any NPC/creature of a decent level could be able to take the player out with little trouble.

Hmmm thats seems more realistic(which could mean better)

well just make sure you've got a good weapon or magic

Even if the player is level 50 they will still be prone to this attack.

Say, for arguments sake, a level 50 player and level 50 NPC came into combat, whoever gets the first powerful strike in will automatically gain the chance to keep barraging the other with powerful blows until they are dead.

unless the person who is getting hit blocks. The other person recoils and the man that was getting hit starts to hit him. Then he blocks...ect

It could go back and forth untill one dies or yields.

It would appear that on any recoil there is an interval where the combatant is prone. If this applies to someone being struck powerfully then they will be unable to block the next blow etc etc

you could always use magic.

And i would think after a while of doing power attcks over and over your fatigue would go down and the person you would be hitting would not be stunned by your attcks anymore.

The guy would eventually block your weak attacks then hit you with his own full fatigued attck and bring you down.

So using the same thing over and over would not be such a good idea. unless you are drinking potions to restore your health and stuff constantly.

Power attack also take longer to perform so eventually the time lag would catch yup with the charcter your fighting and he would hit you.

I might just PM a DEV to ask this stuff.

Edit: Which i just did and heres his quote about people using constant attacks.

Power attacks burn a lot of fatigue, and the lower your fatigue the less effective your attacks are. In addition, power attacks can take longer to perform than standard attacks, possibly leaving the attacker vulnerable. NPC's are aware of this and so will use them wisely.

Hope this clears some thigs up for yoou all.
