I can feel my arteries hardening just looking at your brunch! I had a two granola bars instead (granted, I made up for it with pizza in the afternoon...).

I spent the day lounging around. It was pretty interesting though. Most of the snow melted in the backyard, so everything was reduced to mud, and when I took the dog out this morning, my slipper ended up being filled with mud

Well, today I went to New York to buy stuff for my trip to Africa. Btw, I'm leaving next Sunday!

Anyway...

On the highway, I saw http://postimage.org/image/5xe9en913/ interesting sculpture on the roof of a building. It surprised me a bit, lol.

You see, my friend is a crazy driver, so I was sitting in the front seat hyperventilating while he sped along the highway in his Toyota! Fun!

We went to a mall called the "Palisades Mall" in New York, (forgot to snap a pic, sorry.) and when I got out of the car, an old lady screamed at me and called me ugly for no apparent reason

When we went in, my friend dragged me onto a clothing store (I'm starting I lose patience with his obsession with clothing ) and I found http://postimage.org/image/79jn83doz/(yes, I got that bored, and too bad they weren't real gold.)

I went into a store to buy my luggage carrier, and bumped into a sea if luggage carriers! http://postimage.org/image/jm8i4u7y9/

It's a play off the word swag

What I mean is, a lot if cocky, over-confident people overuse the word swagin an attempt to be cool. In not saying using the word makes you a bad person, it's just not one you wanna use

Looks like a beautiful place. Too bad it's such a rough place to live because of the rival groups who have been fighting over it since I can remember and the diseases.

The animals are definitely more interesting than anything you'll see in Arkansas.

We saw a baby elephant. According to the guide, it was no more than a few days old. Apparently that's rare to see on a safari

I just find it extremely cool that when a life-threatening injury hits you type a message to us first, call 911 second. We have one catfish that could swallow a grown man whole - he lives directly alongside one of the bigger dams here in the deepest section right below it, and has been seen by several men who have been sent down to work on the dam - they came back out white as sheets and yelling, "NO WAY!"

I've seen some 4.5-5' catfish come from that area, so can imagine it must be huge. You can't boat in that area because they open the dam gates too often. (TVA uses it for hydro power).

The littler ones are fun to catch (under 20") - I don't want to catch one bigger than that. I like eating Catfish, but you can't eat them from these lakes anymore = PCB's.

The men in this area dip their fingers in stink-bait and catch the catfish by wiggling their fingers under rocks on the bottom - just grab onto their jaw when the catfish bites. It is called "graveling" or something. I absolutely LOVE fishing, but you will NEVAH catch me doing that.
