Fess up, we all know that http://youtu.be/mcH_2G0DCBo to some popular songs. ![]()
For years I thought that http://youtu.be/r3kQlzOi27M was I'll Live To See You. It was only after the dj's on a radio station were going through a list of top 100 songs made by Rolling Stone, or Spin, or one of those music magazines, that they mentioned the song, and I realized what it really was! Doh!
There are other times I cannot tell the words, so I just supply my own. Going way back to when I was little, I always loved http://youtu.be/26wEWSUUsUc. There was always one part I never understood: "Don't give us none of your aggravation, we had it with your something-something starting with the letter 'D'" So I just supplied: "we had it with your Death Star plan". I knew it was wrong, but so what, I liked my version anyway. Eventually I figured out the word I was missing was 'discipline' - a Freudian Slip for certain! - but I still like it my way better.
So what are some of your misunderstood lyrics? Come on admit it!
Obligatory "Hold me closer Tony Danza"
also Slipknot in Pyschosocial's "PICKACHU'S A VIRGIN"
"Big Ole Gent had a Lighter" Steve Miller Band
I will let you guys figure out the correct version
"Some find a chair in every morning" - Westlife, Flying Without Wings...
"You'll never find the evident zombie" - McFly, That's The Truth...
"...Now it's hitting me for four." - Katy B., Crying For No Reason...
Oh, alright...Some find it sharing every morning; You'll never find the evidence on me; Now it's hitting me full force...Pah!...
...
Last Christmas.
I thought it was "A face on the lover with a foreigner´s heart" until I saw the lyrics in the Taylor Swift clip

Apparently “Baby’s got Depends” is not how the song is supposed to go. ![]()
