Hello all,
and in particular the non-noobs

I have been wondering about the rank system at Chorrol. I don't mean to ask what it takes to climb the ranks (let that remain a mystery), but I would like to ask for a list of available ranks in their order. I noticed they are a mixture of ranks from at least the Legion, the Mages Guild and the Great Houses of Morrowind. Any other factions? Any chances of making Eliminator or Shadowfoot here? Hope not.

Forum Ranks and number of 'pips' next to rank:
Associate 0
Retainer 0
Evoker 0
Agent 0
Finder 1
Knower 2
Mouth 3
Master 4
Councilor 5
Ancient - 8

(Mods and Admins can have a custom rank if they like.)

Edit: Yikeszoid, I'm a Councilor! I think in Beth's old forums I got to 4 stars, whatever that is.
Edit 2: I got to Master at that site.

Interesting - thanks, Acadian!

I also noticed that not everyone's "pips" are the same. Some people start having different daedric letters as their "pips". Is it a way to carry on with ranks once you reach Ancient? Like 1-star General, 2-star General, Many-star General?

If I had known I’d have stopped at Agent which was the beginning and will always be special to me. And also because I’m and may be at some time be a;

Master of no special talent,
Councilor in need of consoling, and
Ancient only in age.

Well it’s too late to stop now so I’ll just put the lime in the coconut and see how it is in the morning.

Bravo, macole! Funny thing is I just heard that Lime in the Coconut song just this morning in the radio. Haven't heard that probably in over a decade!

Hm, I need to up my contributions some more so that I can attain Councilor. I seem to have plateaued significantly upon reaching the rank of Master.

I am a 50+ Evoker poster here….um’ I mean 50 posts not years. I was born in 2016 at the age of 35 which is where I remain today.

Ranks…Well, technically, as a Contessa you realise I equate to a Count…ruling over a Count-y for the Crown. Something like Skingrad or Wiltshire. In US terms I suppose State Govenor, although in that case nobility is not a pre-requisite hmmm.
