A GAME! Let's play!
Here are the rules:
1. You give three clues, but the clues must be from the character POV. For example. At the end of the final main quest, martin turns into a large statue of akatosh, so one clue could be 'WOW! That's a big Dragon...'
2. The quests MUST be Beth official.
3. The person to get the answer correct first wins. The person giving the clues must 'Give them the cake" ' in order for the winner to have the next go.
4. Also, although this isn't a solid rule, try to explain the reason for your guesses.
5. You must name the quest!
LETS BEGIN! Very easy, just to warm everyone up.
***
1. Who hides in a basement?
2. Nice name for an inn :/
3. Shouldn't you be in Morrowind?
OOOH oooh I know this one! HOld on....
... okay my answer is Rufio!!! Rufio is the man who hides in the basement of the Inn of Ill Omen. Umm... I have no idea about the Morrowind bit, but that's my answer: Rufio.
Ohhh yeah, I gots some cake! Very good. Did you bake this one yourself?
Guess it's my turn. Hmm.. ... I'll throw a softball here. Nothing too difficult.
1). I found this strange item on my travels.
2). Sold it, and was later told I could have doubled my money.
3). Apparently there are several more to find? .. Guess I'll get to work then.
I guess on the Ayleid statues because they are strange and if you sold it to Umbacano you could have gotten more Septims
It's okay, mirocu got it. As soon as he said Umbacano, I was ready to cut the cake. There ya go, Crow. Crows do eat cake, I've seen 'em do this.
Maybe there oughtta be a rule that the name of the quest should be given, just to clarify further? .... Like the answer to the first question would be Rufio / A Knife in the Dark. Up to the person asking the question, I guess.
Anyways, you're up, mirocu. Soon as you're done nomming.
Aargh!
I can't remember the name of the quest, or the npc
uesp.net is your best friend when you need the specifics
I think we are an honest bunch here, so I doubt anybody would cheat. Only use it when you have a solid idea of the quest, but need to know the name of the quest.
Yeah, go for it, Thorn! And just to make it all clear I´m re-posting my clues
Well, if y'all insist.
Could you be talking about Amiable Fanriene? The quest Falling Awake in the Shivering Isles?
1. The kind man is Norbert Lelles.
2. He feels safe around the Fighter who helped him.
3. The Fighter spent the night in Lelles shop to intercept the bad guys.
The quest is: An Unfortunate Shopkeeper (part of the FG quest line).
Cheese Cake for all! Yum! So thanks, and here are three clues to a quest -
1. Yes, I'm a scout and can lead you there.
2. Talk first, then head-bashing?
3. Helping a new friend fulfill an oath of vengeance is a noble task.
Great Goolies, I knew that one but I'm away now so I thought it best to not answer... ...
Nice game btw... ...Good idea...*Applauds heartily*...
CT - Great job and you are right! Cake for you, and it's your turn -
McB - Great to see and I hope you'll stick around and play!
Well, since I'm not gonna be online that much longer I might as well throw it up for anyone who wants to ask one.
Would the quest be Blood of the Divines?
Only long lost relic I can think of right now...
I'd suspect it to be Azura's quest from 2 and 3, but Azura's Star isn't a long lost relic, having been in Morrowind...
Ooh! Cake!
*OM NOM NOM NOM NOM*
Anyway, the question...
1) What do stormclouds have to do with anything?
2) Didn't I leave you behind?
3) You'll not find a more lethal blade
I feel I should mention that question 2 is very much specific to Tarvyn Dralor.
*checks rules of thread*
I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you for a quest name, as per rule 5 before I can really say anything.
Actually, scratch that. Technically you've named the DLC, so I'm gonna say that counts.
1) What do stormclouds have to do with anything?
Referencing the question you're asked, and must supply the password to
2) Didn't I leave you behind?
Tarvyn was a member of both House Telvanni and the Morag Tong, and both groups are represented.
3) You'll not find a more lethal blade
And this is, of course, a reference to Mehrunes Razor.
Funnily enough it's a weapon I'd never risk letting my characters use, for fear of spell reflection.
Well, you got it right, so here's your cake
Your turn
CT, that was a good one! I never would have guessed it without the insightful logic of Vital - after he posted, it made perfect sense.
And the thing is, Buffy's done that quest two or three times. We do the quest, deactivate the DLC, reactivate the DLC and can come back later to do it all over again.
Ahh... good idea to move this to this page! Haha. I didn't think about the spolier aspect when I created it. Haha
Sorry it took a while to post this. Timezones....
Anyway, hopefully this is OK.
1)These warriors do not rely on their own strength or skill
2)There's something strange about these goblins...
3)You've seen this town on better days
Guess Away! Remember, there's cake up for grabs
1)These warriors do not rely on their own strength or skill
They rely on Hist Sap instead.
2)There's something strange about these goblins...
They're an hallucination caused by drinking Hist Sap
3)You've seen this town on better days
Tricky, you wake up in Chorrol before returning to Water's Edge, and it could mean either of those.
The quest is called "Infiltration".
Hmmmm....
1) When I talked to the guard, he didn't know anything until I asked about Leyawiin
2) It was wet in the cave
3) Calipers?
I am having a lot of fun reading these. Once again, brilliant idea Rihane! Most I guessed right. I would answer, but I am just too darn tired to think of three questions tonight.
Oh noes! I think I frightened everyone away!
Near enough for cake
The trolls in Tidewater Cave are Kalperklan trolls, and they all carry Calipers, for no apparent reason.
Really? Trolls with calipers?
That's just weird
Right, my turn, again...
1) I don't think I'll write this in my journal
2) A treasure hunt? In these temperatures?!?
3) This is all powerful?
I'm pretty sure I'm stretching the rules with this one, and being evil to boot, but I think it's still guessable...
1. Ahah, a non-journal quest.
2. And one that takes place where it’s cold - likely in the lands of Lothran.
3. All powerful = omnipotent. Indeed, Circle of Omnipotence is a less than impressive reward.
This sounds like The Forgotten Chests of Pale Pass.
Darn it. Acadian beat me to this one
Thanks, CT. Heh, I knew that mirocu would also know that one. I think Lothran collects the teeth of Pale Pass Ogres!
Okay, here goes -
1. I’m supposed to liven things up down here?
2. If I get caught, the guards'll arrest me for sure!
3. I’m an archer. What the heck do I want with another stupid staff? Although it does have sort of a pretty name.
Edit: Beefed up the clues because I realized it could have been mistaken for a quest other than the one I intended.
I'm going to go for the cheese, instead of the cake.
The quest it isn't is Sheogorath's
1) You're not livening things up in Border Watch - dead sheep, rats and dogs.
2) There aren't any guards in Border Watch unless you count the villagers.
3) Wabbajack doesn't have a pretty name.
I'll leave the real answer for someone else.
I know the answer...
But since I asked the question before, I'll just sit and wait...
Aww, come on, guys! Both of you know the answer and none of you will say it??
OK, here’s my answer.
1. The Countess of Leyawiin throws regular if boring dinner parties.
2. Casting the spell Stark Reality counts as an assault.
3. The Sanguine Rose sounds much prettier than what it does! (Too bad it’s not a bow staff. )
Answer: Sanguine! I was wracking my brain trying to think of the name of this quest, but like Nocturnal and Azura I think it’s just named after the Daedric Prince.
So obvious now..
ghastley, a special sweetroll for you - for knowing exactly the quest I was trying to avoid confusing it with.
Grits - Exactly right on all counts! Buffy knew that getting caught would have cost her knighthood. And she ever so much would have preferred that special magic chest by his shrine as a reward than a dumb staff. Cake for you, and your turn!
Why thank you! I remember Buffy’s careful planning for that quest.
First things first: coffee and cake for everyone!
Now, here are my clues for the next one:
1. This place is an eyesore, but the deal is almost too good to be true.
2. When I find that guy we shall have words.
3. Finally, a good night’s sleep. If only I could forget what I saw in the basement…
Oh, and for folks who are just joining the fun (or planning ahead), these are the quests that we’ve already done:
A Knife In The Dark
The Collector
The Unfortunate Shopkeeper
Mazoga the Orc
Azura
Unearthing Mehrunes’ Razor
Infiltration
Nocturnal
The Forgotten Chests of Pale Pass
Sanguine
More cake! Yum!
Question... Question...
1) A nice reversal of fortunes
2) Be nice to his little brothers. Those ones at any rate.
3) I'm supposed to swing this? I can barely lift it!
Another Daedric one?
1) Reversal of fortune - Lord Drad and the Ogres.
2) Malacath's little brothers - Ogres
3) Swing that Volendrung!
So it's Malacath's quest.
I'll try and get away from Daedric with this one.
1) I can see something up there, but I'm too short to reach. Still, I can climb on the desk, it's my house.
2) Why did he put everything way above my head? He must have been taller than me.
3) I don't care much about the jewels, but the ring was useful!
for Rihanae!
Rosethorn Cache it is. The second clue referred to the Hourglass again being overhead after you had to climb for the scroll.
Woo!
i offer my to anyone who wants it
Well, it's been over 24 hours and no-one's claimed it, so the is mine.
*Om nom nom*
Thanks
Right, a question for you all, three in fact
1) Why is this all so secret?
2) A traitor?
3) All of them?
I think that's a little too vague for me to say if it's right or wrong.
Then I guess on The Purification.
1. Well, you can't exactly buy them at an alchemical shoppe!
2. Oh, ten should do. . . initially.
3. Sadly, they don't grow back so, yes, their song - once silenced - is gone forever.
Methinks the quest is Seeking Your Roots.
And methinks you´re 100% correct!
It´s almost midnight here but I got a ready for you, Acadian!
Yum, thanks!
1. I don’t know how to make this request any simpler.
2. Well, that cave is pretty close.
3. Yes, I think I can help; I’ve had experience dealing with those who practice the dark arts.
Great job and completely right, Vital.
Here: Your turn!
Yay, cake!
1. Hope you don't suffer from sea-sickness!
2. How did they not find me?
3. The coast is clear, now can you get us back?
I´m not really sure about the second clue, but the rest put An Unexpected Voyage in my head..
Yay, I was right!
Hold on for a new question, I gotta munch away first *nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom*
-Anyone have some coffee..? No? Awright, a new question it is..
1.) They must get away from here!
2.) I will do my part.
3.) The new top dog will fix the rest.
I’m stumped on this one! Usually I can guess the quest but not quite remember the name. I’m thinking it’s an escort quest, but the last clue tells me it’s not the one I first thought. Hmm…
*brews more coffee*
I really managed to make it difficult this time?
Maybe that fits in with the first two but I´ not sure about the third clue. Either way, it´s the wrong quest entirely.
Hint: It takes place somewhere close to Imperial City.
Screw it.
Almost totally blind stab at the answer:
Light the Dragonfires?
Pretty much 'cos of the third clue.
*shrugs*
Sorry, that´s incorrect too but it´s time to move on so I´ll say what it was; Misdirection
First clue obviously is about getting rid of all the soldiers looking for the Grey Fox.
Second clue is where the PC steals the staff from the Mages Guild.
I have to admit my third clue was a bit wrong. I thought about Arch-Mage Traven ( the new top dog) sending the daedra to tell Lex to leave but as we know it´s actually Raminus Polus who does that. I apologize
You can have the because of my mistake, Callidus. Enjoy!
I actually almost went for Misdirection earlier, but the third clue threw me. I'd gotten it a little confused with Taking Care of Lex as well, which completely screwed me over on that one
*shrugs*
Thanks for the cake *turns back and noms Crumbs fly everywhere*
Right, a question, and I think I'll make it an easy one.
1) Ah, the old switcheroo, eh?
2) Sneaky sneaky, want that bonus
3) This'll stop that cough of yours...
Just don't ask what character this has its perspective written from
Disclaimer: Using cough for illustrative purposes.
A little hint maybe? To get things rolling...
I think it's the DB quest to kill Roderick by switching his medicine for a poison.
1) The switcheroo is the bottles.
2) Usual DB "don't kill the wrong people" bonus.
3) Who knows what's really wrong with him?
I had to look up the name Bad Medecine. I always get the DB quests mixed up with their intro quests - in this case Enter the Eliminator.
Well let's try this one.
1) He's staying at the inn until his research notes turn up.
2) Oooh Shiny!
3) Notes for bottles.
1. Lithnilian lamenting his lost notes at the Imperial Bridge Inn.
2. His research is on living Welkynd stones! Not sure I have the stones for that, but I’ll give it a try.
3. Although gold would have been better, I guess a reward of potions for the recovered notes was fair enough.
I think the quest is ‘No Stone Unturned’.
where it's due.
I noticed that they used the same quest name in Skyrim for something completely different. I just had that added to my Journal, and it made me think of this one.
Thanks for the cake!
1. I met someone in southern Cyrodiil who showed me his collection and asked for help in adding to it.
2. I was able to find some clues up in the Imperial City.
3. The clues led me to a brave knight, forever locked in combat.
mirocu is correct!
1. S'drassa, of the Leyawiin MG collects crystals.
2. Special frost salts to access the glade, and a book with more background can be found in the IC.
3. Sir Garridan is forever locked (frozen) in combat within the glade.
Your cake:
Ooh!
Can I play??
The only one that makes sense of this is Where Spirits Have Lease.
1) The whole house for only 5000
2) The ghosts don't seem to be friendly
3) Velwyn Benirus isn't much help, except that only he can open the door.
Ok, well I'm gonna go with Unfriendly Competition...
1) Thoronir sells his goods cheap
2) All the other merchants hate him because of it
3) Thoronir's dodgy helper supplies him with goods from the grave
Yay!
Well, I'm struggling for ideas so I'm gonna put the cake up for grabs.
A Knife In The Dark
The Collector
The Unfortunate Shopkeeper
Mazoga the Orc
Azura
Unearthing Mehrunes’ Razor
Infiltration
Nocturnal
The Forgotten Chests of Pale Pass
Sanguine
Malacath
Rosethorn Cache
Purification
Seeking Your Roots
Gravefinder’s Repose
Unexpected Voyage
Misdirection
Bad Medicine
No Stone Unturned
Tears of the Savior
Unfriendly Competition
Well, it's been the best part of a day and no-one's claimed the so I'll have it before it goes stale
And now for a question:
1) He asked for me?
2) So are they jealous, or spiteful? Either way they've attracted unwelcome attention
3) What? That Revenant has returned?
I'll have to look up the name, but...
1) Janus Hassildor asked for you
2) There are fairies vampires at the bottom of my garden.
3) The count has heard that Mannimarco is back!
And the name was Ulterior Motors Motives
I knew I shouldn't trust memory.
Yes, that was the first quest, the reason he asked for the player. I can't remember the name of the other one at all. Like with the name of the cave. I always get that confused with the one near Bravil.
So.... Do we have a new quest-ion?
Well, I was expecting him to just check the Uespwiki for the name of the quest, I figured y'all were waiting for the same.
And I was expecting someone else to grab the opportunity to do so.
Oh, well, so you want a new quest to guess - I'll name it as "Information at a price" and we can continue.
That it is.
One for you!
And the new one is...
1) He said, she said
2) Slap a guard and face the consequences
3) Profit!!
rocu did a 's worth of good.
Yay
1.) Those are not yours!
2.) Over the sea they go.
3.) They should definitely be on land..
Not sure but I think it's the non-journal quest with the sheep and the Sea Tub Clarabella. According to the wiki it's named "Illegal Cargo"...
1. The sheep are stolen??
2. They are smuggled across the sea
3. Sheep don't belong on boats
I might be wrong, but hey, it's a guess
You are 99,99% correct!! (One can never be 100% certain on anything.. )
Illegal Cargo it is! Thank you for moving us forward, Vital For that, and because it´s Easter, you get four of these delicious s!
*devours all but one of the cakes*
Here goes:
1. Time to prove yourself
2. A little competition never hurt
3. You'll all end up there anyway
I´d guess on May the Best Thief Win.
1.) Time to prove if you have what it takes to join the Thieves Guild
2.) You compete with Methredel and the Argonian
3.) We all become members in the end!
Final answer! *DING*
You said no one could be 100% correct..
But you just proved yourself wrong
I'll return your kindness with 5 cakes, fresh out of the oven
1. This sounds like the Dunmer lass in the SI who collects flora and fauna.
2. The list of critters she wants certainly fits that bill!
3. Sure enough, she does have holding pens for them.
I think the quest is Taxonomy of Obsession.
And Acadian gets two of my leftover s!!
I never completed that quest. Got as far as to the last critter but for some reason it just didn´t happen and now she´s forever waiting by the gate, on the cyrodilic side!
Thanks! Heh, Buffy's not done that one either. It fits into the category of so many quests: Some perfectly capable quest-giver who has no qualms asking a tiny elf to go into danger in their stead.
Okay, here's one:
1. He kept a lonely vigil to the east.
2. The scene of the crime that claimed him was guarded by teeth and spirits.
3. I then followed his map to a treasure he no longer had use for.
The Forlorn Watchman.
!. Grantham Blakely can be encountered on Bawnwatch Island every evening. He then leads one to a hill overlooking the Niben and watches eastward.
2. The place he is looking toward is called the Mouth of the Panther. Jagged rocks resembling sharp teeth stick up out of the water there.
3. There is a small cache in the river below a bandit's camp, across from an Ayleid ruin that figures in another quest.
Rider, that's exactly right!
Cake for you, and your turn!
Thanks for the !
But I'm really no good at this sort of stuff, so I'll toss the out there for someone else to think up the next riddle.
I can hold on to the and give it to the one with the correct answer
1.) They killed her!!
2.) Will you avenge her death since I´m not a warrior?
3.) Make sure to bring her possession back
1. 'They' are goblins from nearby Exhausted Mine. 'Her' is Kayleen Northwode.
2. Corrick is a farmer (not a warrior) at Harm's Folly.
3. Her possession refers to Kayleen's jade amulet.
The quest is Revenge Served Cold.
Yay! Well done, Acadian!
I don´t know if you are on a diet, but here´s another for ya!
Thanks, mirocu. Let's see. . . .
1. A missing gambler.
2. A lost family heirloom.
3. Betrayed! The hunters shall become the hunted.
I know this one!
But I´ll give someone else a chance..
I know this one...
But I'll give someone else a chance because I have no idea what it's called... ...OR the proper answers to the riddles...
Or the names of any of the quests to give riddles (which I'm rubbish at making up) back... ...
There is a reason I can't play this game... ...
1. Aleron Loche is the missing gambler
2. The Axe of Dragol, supposedly can be found in Fort Grief
3. But the whole setup's a trap, and your trapped with the hunters.
The quest is Caught in the Hunt
CT, that's exactly right! Gosh, we're running sorta low on quests. . . .
Your cake!
A Knife In The Dark

Yum, cake!
Right, questions, questions...
1. Wait, you expect me to break into that place?
2. Back to the beginning, revenge is sweet
3. Remeber, low body count or no bonus
1) Breaking into the Imperial prison
2) Through the cell where you started the game. You never really took to that Dreth guy.
3) Usual DB bonus rules. Don't kill the bystanders, just the mark.
Had to look up the name, as usual. Scheduled for Execution.
Let's see what we can find...
1) He took what? Oh, I see, they were special ones.
2) Big thief, isn't he?
3) And just what is this famous for?
1. I only put them out to get some sun!
2. Yup, ogres are big all right.
3. World famous potato bread!
The Potato Snatcher!
The isn't as famous, but it's yours!
Gosh, I'm getting low on quests.
Let me pass the cake to anyone who'd like to give it a shot.
All right, let me give this shot . . .
1. A nice little house with a lake view - but where is everyone?
2. Interesting journal - off to save Nirn, huh?
3. Quite an offering, but getting out can be a shocking experience!
Let me try...
1. An abandoned farm close to Kvatch.
2. A journal saying that he went to a nearby cave to kill the Sunken One, because he was responsible for the events at Kvatch.
3. The offering consists of some gems IIRC. The Sunken One attacks when you find out the last part of the journal and you have to kill it to get out.
The Sunken One?
Got it in one!
Here's your
Your turn!
Okay, let me try for the first time. I read the list of the quests on the previous page, so if it's complete, then the following quest should still be available
1. So this time it's in the coffin.
2. Oh, I know that arrogant bastard.
3. Looks like he travels a lot.
1. The dead drop giving you the order is in a coffin
2. Alval Uvani
3. The dead drop is accompanied by Alval's travel schedule
The quest is: A Matter of Honour
Correct!
That is so funny! I was not sure, but here's what came to mind for me:
1. In the coffin = Manduin's Amulet.
2. Arrogant bastard = Kalthar.
3. Traveling refers to Kalthar relocating from the Leyawiin MG to Fort Blueblood.
So. . . I thought perhaps the quest was the Leyawiin MG recommendation. Now, after reading CT's guess, I think he got it way better sussed out than I. I guess that's what I get for playing a guild girl instead of an assassin.
I see that while I was composing this, Lopov just popped on to confirm that wise CT is right.
Yay! Cake!
Ugh, next question. The fact that I've not done most of the sidequests in Oblivion really counts against me here.
1. Wow, those thing really trashed the place. Dangerous hobby you have there.
2. Great, not only am I slowed down, but I've got those things following me.
3. And of course he's behind this madness. Who else would it be?
That looks like "Whom Gods Annoy"
1) Scamps have trashed the home of Rosentia Gallenus, who collects Daedric artifacts
2) The scamps are following the holder of the staff
3) And it's all Sheogorath's fault.
You got it!
We're running really short of quests, but I don't think we've had this one
1) Nobody wants to help, but I will
2) But my sword's doing nothing!
3) And if I haven't seen enough of these, I get one as a reward! Oh well, have a ball.
1. Varulae is anxious to get her mother's heirloom off the ship, but no one wants to venture belowdecks.
2. The ship is full of cutlass-wielding ghosts.
3. Your reward is yet another cutlass, this one the enchanted Redwave.
The quest is The Ghost Ship of Anvil.
Have a to go with the ball.
*nom* *nom* *nom*
[licks multicolored icing from fingers]
Okay, let's try this one.
1. Someone's got a pathological fondness for raw mutton.
2. Uh, make that six of 'em.
3. I can start my library with this.
1. Mutton so raw that the poor sheep are still alive!
2. I'm thinking there were six sheep below decks.
3. Part of the reward is your very own copy of that wonderful tome featuring the erotically alluring Lifts Her Tail.
I think the quest is Illegal Cargo.
If I may intervene here, I did Illegal Cargo a while ago
Given the large number of quests covered in this successful thread, I hope no one minds a bit of recycling.
I guess that´s inevitable now. The tricky part will be to come up with clues
Ignore me then..
Please forgive me for not being diligent in following up on this . . . Spring Cleaning and Work, you know . . .
Anyway, I did make sure it was a quest that had not yet been submitted - thanks Grits and Acadian for that list and keeping it updated! So no, it's not Illegal Cargo. Technically the reward for that quest is an enchanted sharpened cutlass. Good try, though, Acadian!
No, it's another quest revolving around the poor sheep . . .
I think I have it.
1) The sheep are being killed by bears
2) There are (at least) six of the West Weald bears - I've killed seven before, and they all have the fangs.
3) Your reward is a skill book.
And it's Bear Season.
Got it ghastley! Here's your !
Help, we're running out of quests!
I think this is a fresh one/two.
1) If it's not rats, it's Bosmers.
2) On both sides
3) And I have a secondary objective.
Extra cake available for both quests in one.
I would like to guess but I have no idea!
1. It’s a Fighters Guild quest with the wood elf Maglir.
2. The gang is made up of Bosmers. Bosmer vs Bosmer!
3. Newheim the Portly wants his stolen heirloom back.
The quests are Den of Thieves and Newheim’s Flagon!
to Grits.
Thank you!
Here’s my offering:
1. He did what? Perhaps he’s a leg man.
2. With a name like that it’s no surprise it turned out badly.
3. I hope the reward is as good as this item!
And to update our list:

I thought at first that this was "The Coming Storm" in SI.
1) Fimmion gives you his pants in exchange for a sweetroll.
2) The name of the quest itself is ominous.
3) This is where it breaks down. The Calming Pants have a mediocre personality enhancement; the Ring of Dessication has its Waterbreathing made useless by the Waterwalking, which prevents you getting underwater to breathe there; the Amulet of Disintegration damages your own equipment, useful only if you're trying to train your Armorer skill.
Anyhow, let's guess that, and find out later what it really was.
Hmm, perhaps another clue.
Well, if there was a prize for worst clues, I guess I’d win it. Here’s the answer:
1. Bjalfi left his wife Maeva the Buxom to go live in a fort with marauders.
2. His full name is Bjalfi the Contemptible.
3. The quest item is Rockshatter, a shock and weakness to shock enchanted mace. The reward is gold.
The quest is When the Vow Breaks.
Looks like there’s a cake up for grabs!
Unless I am mistaken, this would be: Buying a House in Bruma
1) Well, you would call it pretty, a log cabin covered in snow
2) There's no fire in the hearth
3) And you can buy quite a few upgrades from Suurootan
And of course Thorny-boy is correct!!
Take it away!
Let me guess the Peryite Daedric quest.
1) Worshippers standing like statues
2) Peryite's statue is of a dragon
3) His plane of Oblivion looks rather like Dagon's Deadlands.
(Consults ever-expanding list of quests that have already come up...)
Oh, there's one that hasn't!
1) It's an ugly-looking thing, why would anyone steal it?
2) And why would they take to the swamps?
3) And get killed in the process, before I even arrived. No wonder it was still on the body.
I´m prolly way off but I´m gonna guess on Nocturnal´s quest. Not sure it has a name even but you go fetch the eye in the swamps without needing to kill the thieves iirc.
But you don't find the eye on a dead body. Try again.
I hope somebody gets this one before I forget the answer myself!
The only swamp one I can think of is The Renegade Shadowscale, and it doesn’t fit. Hmm..
I think this may be time to reveal:
The quest is The Bloodworm Helm (Mages Guild)
1) The helm itself is grotesque.
2) Irlav Jarol takes it to Fort Teleman in the Blackwater swamps.
3) He's dead by the time you arrive, killed by Daedra, but they didn't take the helm.
Tossing the for whoever wants it.
