Chorrol.com _ Oblivion cheats and hints _ Console Commands not working

Posted by: Frostblade10 Mar 30 2006, 07:46 AM

Ok so, genderchange and showracemenu works but i am trying to dupe some vampire dust for the quest to get back into the mages guild.

I type: (take away the quotes)(the item number is made up)

"Player.AddItem fff0556c 4"

and it doesnt work.

Why doesnt it work? what am i doing wrong?

and is there a command to remove Vampirism?

Why do you need to change your race, and gender? Why can't you just go kill a vampire or two. They are pretty easy to find if you tried to look instead of turning to cheats for help.

I was using those as an example (didnt save with em, just fun)

I dont know where enough vamps are for it and im looking for a shortcut.

And im not calling it cheating because i saved over the game before i was a vamp and its sooo hard to do anythin as a vamp

My best guess to why those cheats aren't working are that you aren't capitilizing/lower-casing the code correctly.

If you don't want to be a vampire, just follow through with the quest "Cure for Vampirism".

Here's a helpful shortcut.

They sell the potions in 'All things Alchemical' in Skingrad, going for about 700 septims.

They come in nifty for those with other purgatives.

Wow thanks very much. It just so happened that i DID save before i became a vamp and i ran to a church and healed (was in the middle of the last theif guild quest) So, i am fine now but this mod will help.

Also, i found out what causes Vampirism. You dont get bit while sleeping but you get a disease called Poryphric Hemophelia (sp?) and once you "rest" (not wait) you will turn.
