I am not sure if this was triggered by a quest, conversation, level, or what but I went south of Chorrol to something that looked like a rock giving me the finger, I turned left at that rock, going east, turned a bit south more and on a south facing tree there was a slim door that I opened and inside it was a dungeon that was HUGE, there is no way it fit in a tree....But irregardless, I go through here and there are some various creatures, some Atronaught's(sp?) and draedra(sp?) and some bears and other critter's.
At the end of the third pathway I find there is a huge cavern and there is TONS of treasure chests around the walls and there is loot just sitting there so I go into the room to loot it and *BANG*!!! I died.....WTF?!?!? Well, I rebooted and luckily I had saved my game resently, I get to that same point but I cast some stealthy stuffs and fortify my health, endurance, and ready a heal spell. I thought maybe I had hit an uber trap, instead as I rounded the door...there was a green and purple, with blue underbellied dragon....it was SOOOOO beautiful.....I sat there and watched it in stealth mode until my chameleon and invisibility wore off, then it detected me, cast invisibility itself and killed me in two hits......take it into mind that I have the difficulty meter all the way to the right.....so I go there again, walk up to it with the highest damage weapon I have....(I turned the difficulty all the way back down) and I hit it with the 6x bonus.......it almost died...next hit it was gone, keep in mind also that instead of buffing my endurance this time I buffed my strength and blade skill.
The loot was AWESOME, the dragon was FREKIN' SWEET!! you guys have to check it out for yourself, sorry I didn't get any pics or video of it, my computer is having major lag as it is when I am just running OB, even taking a pic would probably cause the system to crash...or at least the game.
Happy huntings, if you need any help just post the question up here, I will be glad to help, although I prolly won't have time to get on until like saturday....spent over 100 hours last week on college campus or doing studies......it SUX!! add that into my OB time and I pulled like three all nighters.
Post the name of the dungeon. Then we can go on more then...
"south of Chorrol to something that looked like a rock giving me the finger, I turned left at that rock, going east, turned a bit south more and on a south facing tree".
if youve got the pc version could you take a screenshot of it? and also a screeneie of the map location of the dungeon would make it easy to find
Can you post a screenshot of that location?
lol, so much for the developers saying there's no dragons in the game
Bit late for April fools, isn't it?
Alright, I've made an executive decission. I will waste my precious modding time to seek this dragon out...
OMG SEND SCREENSHOT PLZ!!!!!!
Nice bit of creative writing....
Were that it were true.....
When screenies appear the dragon-hunters will come out to play
Well, actually...

At the end of the main quest there is a Dragon of sorts. And it looks flipping awesome.
I tried to take a photo screenshot of the place I found, and it made my Oblivion crash. As soon as I get my new computer I will post pics up for you guys.

ahahahahahahahaahahaha
lol we want proof! take a picture of your screen with a camera if you need to, just get us proof!
Heh, I'm jumping into oblivion right now. This I got to see.
Ummm... guys, it's a late April Fool's Joke...
Heh, just go through your TES Construction Set and look there is no dragon at all. This isn't true.
The original part isn't true; the part I've said, which is the spoiler, is most definately true.
You can't post an april fool's joke on the third, that just makes you a liar. If you miss the first you miss your chance.
Just finished the MQ.
Nope, no dragon.
*****SPOILER BELOW*****
Not in any "creature u can engage sense of way"....
Martin turns himself into the Avatar of Akatosh...
There is no Dragon. Thats it final. You want to know how I know? Because the Devs aren't stupid to contradict with lore like that. The closest TEs has ever gotten to a Dragon is a Baby one. That and just put two and two together "big dragon" "slim door"
This is hilarious! Now everyone is running around Oblivion looking for a rock to give them the finger! ahahahahah!!
http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/Athane/FingerRock.jpg <------ clik
There was the baby dragon in Daggerfall and of course, the mysterious mention of dragon/people in the lore concerning Akivar ... a continent off to the NorthEast of Morrowind and Solsteim. The Akaviri were supposed to have attacked Morrowind when the Dwemer were still active and fought with them. But it is said that the DragonPeople ate all of the humanoid type Akavarians. Not much more there then but myth.
But there is something amazing at the end of the main quest of Oblivion and Cain won't tell me what it is. Even though he knows I can barely play with the way my comp is now until I get a new video card. He says I gotta wait and see if for myself.
Nevermind about the lore part, some how I got it into my head that there was a spefific reason the occurances of dragons in TES was rare for a reason and assumed it was lore.
I notice one of the loading screens is a picture of a dragon as well.
I think that might be the Dragon statue in the Talos plaza district.
must suck to be him at cocktail parties.
"Hey ladies..."
"ARRRGH! A DRAGON! RUN!"
"Darn! Enough with the looks already, you shallow people! You're as bad as those people in 'mask'! What about inner beauty! *sigh*...why can't I pick up the chicks?"
If you have no computer, how are you posting on a forum? Just intrested.
i am sorry but u guys have no life. talking about computer game dragon lore.
On the topic of lore, dragons are extremely rare in Tamrial, they were common in Morrowind until the skylamps (cliffracers) drove them out and so most moved to Cyrodiil but they are extremely rare there and avoid contact, all are protected by the empire and there may be one underneath the imperial palace through secret tunnels, however there is none in the game, possible reasons for this: They smell you coming and avoid you, they adopt different forms for protection, they are in locations hidden and protected so well you can't find them (possibly in places levitation is required to reach), and there is one last reason which I believe best explains it all, it was the reason used to explain why there are no dragons in Morrowind, even though it is perfectly acceptable to believe skylamps drove them out, however it is a reason which can be used for Cyrodiil as well...
"Dragons? Oh, they're everywhere! You must fly very high to see most of them, though. The ones nearer the ground are very hard to see, being invisible." they are there, your just not flying high enough, which is why M'Aiq saw one, Khajiit are natural flyers.
Also the dragon people are different from dragons, they are semi humanoid.
Good old M'Aiq, stand up guy. ![]()
Anyways I really think that this thread has accomplished its goal and has been burnt out since April fools is long gone now. Probably time for a close soon since its mostly off topic chit-chat.
since this really isn't about Oblivion hints and cheats, and never was for that matter ![]()
