How do you past the court yard in front of the church? I jump on top of the wall an see someone stuck in a cell. Yet, cannot get over the fence. Tried sucking up to Matius and the people in the church..nothing. So what am I missing?

You need to go through the catacombs of the church, where there some baddies down there. Then that takes you out the place that leads to the gate release sight, but you have to get past a lot of enemies to do so.

Following your arrows should help ya, as long as you have the right quest activated. I think it's called Free Kvatch or Liberating Kvatch or something like that.

Can't Find the key to open the door for the church to go further into the catacombs. IF I don't get the key I cannot finish the quest. That is what I am asking.

I think that means you still have to talk to the guard there, Savlian, to continue the quest. I think that's what I did to keep going...

Tlked to him and nothing. Then got desparate and stole a Kvatch guard house key from him. It didn't work on the catacomb doors. Still stuck. Where are you find a hint even as to where to find the ... key? Searched all the barrels and junk in the church ,too. Checked all the npcs to see if they had it--nope.

Have you tried all the doors in the church? Because I can't recall needing at key at all to do this quest...

omg I did something right. Closed the oblivion gate and ran the martin back to wyren.
