Today Basilisk Games has released their first game, Eschalon: Book 1 which they describe as an oldschool cRPG in the tradition of Ultima, Might & Magic, and Wizardry. It features tile based graphics seen from an isometric view, turn based combat (though without action points) and lots of dungeons to explore.
Some interesting aspects are that you will need a torch or something else to see in the dark, and your torches burn out after a while so you will have to prepare for dungeon crawling. Also, your automap will only work if you have the cartography skill.
All in all it looks like an interesting game for those interested in this type of game. I'm hoping I can write a review for it soon.
Aside from the full game which you can buy online, they also have a number of screenshots as well as a demo version that you can download.

So I downloaded the demo, and played a little..... then died fairly spectacularly upon trying to break open a barrel of gunpowder with a dagger. How was I to know it'd result in instant combustion and my fiery demise?
I'm totally gonna have to restart with a mage and blow it up from a safe distance
