I'm glad to see this start again. I read it all over a couple of days a few months ago and it's excellent, I like the degree of emotion there is in the story, the hopes and fears of your characters are far more realistic than many fantasy stories which makes them come off the page nicely.

I also like the development of the plot, I shall have to go and re-read the rest of Sethyas Volume II...

This made my day! An update, a new chapter, continuing the story of Sethyas....ohhhh...Could it be any better? Well yeah...even more updates f course!

Anyway, a strong opening of chapter 4. The conversation between Rayne and Sethwas is well described, yet so sad...I mean I think she actually love him and I also think he loved her...once. Not immediately when thay got together, no he was still numb with grief over Ilmeni, but I honestly think he loved er at certain times. What made him stop loving her I can't exactly figure out but maybe it will be revealed, either here or in the Retcon-thread.

Do you really think you only have one reader? *lol* I can assure you we are quite some folks who follow this story with utmost pleasure!

I'm glad you decided to continue, which also inspire me....

Ooookay..on we go, right Seth? farewell simple life and uncomplicated love! Or what? It seems as he somehow got at ease with life...but that could be an illusion.

Anyway I can't wait to read about his encounter with Lexie, how on Nirn would a love-story with a goddess turn out, if that is what's going to happen?

You mention the Queen, may I ask who she is? I'm sort of senile these days, so I can't remember who she is...hmmm

The things he went through! The nightmares....wonderful! Now get me right, it wasn't all pleasant for Sethyas, but it forced him forward, to what? I don't know, but it will be revealed, I'm sure of that.

I think we have come to get sort of more "under his skin" you tell about a Sethyas that is somewhat changed, for the better I want to believe...

I hope he will achieve what he's after when going under the city...and not get into such severe trouble that he'll be hurt (again)

One thing is for sure, someone on the island of Vvardenfell is thinking about him, hoping he's ok. Maybe this someone manage to reach him...who knows!

Wonderful updates, Blackie, makes me urge for more....

I like it . I'm not sure what else to say... its readible, well done and you really seem to be in the head of Sethyas, he's an very strong character and great to read about.

Your perspective on the whole nerevar thing is interesting and adds a side to the story which is fresh and unlike any other fanfic I've read. And Seth's reaction is bang on of course.

The plot is really tightening now, and getting more and more interesting...

I'm sorry I haven't commented for three days, but RL really has taken its tribute out of me...

Now then, I'm truly impressed how you described the interaction between Seth and Pene, just brilliant, going from "oops I'm gonna die..to showing great power towards her". I must admit I'm not so familiar with Daedra's personality in common but this creature really is special. I wonder...will she be tied to Seth for all eternity?

Now of course, what will happen next? What will he do with her? what services can she provide? I really like the way this story is going, thrilling indeed...


(So he thought of Serene in the moment of truth? Very sweet. I assure you she got the message! )

The post machine is gathering momentum again And so is this story, the end of Tribunal is excellent and I'm looking forward to reading about Seth doing it.

Pene is a good addition, she offers a chance to play Seth's character off and makes this piece even better. I'm surprised Almlexia didn't realise what she was, but then the godess is mad - you're certainly showing that.

Great stuff, using their own traps against them is always a good tactic and always entertaining to read.

The interplay between Seth and Pene is well done, she's becoming steadily less condescending and more open, especially with her examination of the dead fabricant and wondering what made it go. The comment about their ruins was brilliant too

First up - great to see this continuing. And nice to see the screenshots too, Sethyas is one intimidating looking dude! Well, so he should...

But, I digress. I read the update. Then I reread the last few updates before it. Then I entered the timewarp.

The year? 2006. I've spent the last few hours starting from the very beginning again and just reached Kogoruhn. And by the way, how fast did you used to write? I'd forgotten that! Will spend the next few days catching up on it all, so it's all fresh in my mind once again. Hard life I tell ya

I like the puzzle element you bring forward in it, it makes the clockwork city more than it was in game.

You convey quite effectively the frustrations and atmosphere of the Clockwork City. And that last screenshot is the best cliff-hanger I have ever seen... (wanders off mumbling enviously).

Incredible descriptive passages throughout- enhanced by the lovely screenshots. You capture Seth's growing doubts and weariness perfectly, along with Pene's attitude.

The Clockwork City is grueling, frightening, bewildering... And you get all of that in, while still moving toward the final discovery.

And now- Alma is home- so to speak.
