I may be wrong, but I'm thinking maybe they were rivals. (when ambrose/dalrus was a telvanni)

So, it's gonna be a lot of tension, but it would take a lot for an actual fight to break out.

She was Neloth's attendant, and then became Melkaan's after she helped melkaan kill neloth. Being Melkaan's attendant is what gave her power; not being a councillor.

She is more worried about the army that Hlaalu has been raising. Seeing as Dalrus/Ambrose is a councillor, she could easily send the army after her and Endris.

A very small section of it would be for the public containng information such as what you seek, though not much more. the rest of it is restricted access. It essentially runs into the Hall of justice, but a small portion is within public access. the rest lies deep within the HOJ.

BUT.....where is Akar? And how are the Ashlanders doing? Sedrane should do something I imagine..but what?

Not at al Florodine. like everything else in Vivec what is on the surface is only an inkling of what lies beneath. most of the manor will be unaffected by the fire.

The Skar was heavily damaged (the top caved in some, some manors were crushed) but too to badly. I'd say there was enough left that it was repaired. And what was too destroyed to 'glue' back into place was filled in with whatever mud or crap the Redoran made their huts out of.

yeah doomed has a character judd vrahl, and he's supposed to attack, so im kinda stuck untill then, but i suppose it give more time to build up his forces. Though if he attacks i'll be fighting myself, cause the Silhouette and Florodine would have to fight

alright i think we need more tension from telvanni and redoran, i've been creating tension with hlaalu we need to get the place on the brink of war, or get the go ahead to start a war whenever things get bad enough. Otherwise ill have the Silhouette attack, which i suppose could be an entire war, he has a HUUGE army, and all the houses could send men, and an arguement could arrise for who gets to lead the entire army

Well hlaalu is ready to start a war, and telvanni is likely dalrus's first target, cause she hates amil, who has been her rival in the telvanni for a long time. Redoran is indirectly declaring war on telvanni with the ashlanders. So we can actually start soon. And actually we have the Silhouette to fight Megil, and Florodine. So im just waiting right now untill i get the go ahead

currently... it's locked up nice and tight, while Florodine hurls debris, and flaming artillery as well as arrows at me. barriers are up, so unless you are in Vivec you won't be getting into vivec

Lmao he isn't launching mushrooms. he is launching mushrooms SPORES. they are microscopic. in mass it would look like a cloud of dust and you cannot by sight determine what the dust is. as far as you know it could be chalk, flour. etc.

hmm so The Hlaalu's present army is coming becasue Dalrus is paranoid... () and we are almost to Vivec and the Silhouette's army isn't getting smaller....

I'm thinking we(florodine and I) can have our 50(or whatever) attack the archers in nthe back and then when the Silhouette reacts and pulls some footmen back to cover the archers Megil can push with out with all his forces and magic and all that fun stuff...

would that work or is the Hlaalu army to small to do anything?

that would make sense to flank the sil's army. even better yet if you ride into their main army camp. since the Sil isn't expecting any aid to come for Megil so he wouldn't have sentries posted along the backside of the army. and also you would penetrate further into the enemy since the camp will be disordered and unprepared for an attack.

Alright... The battle is basically going to be the end of the Silhouette and miran working together, cause they make it into the city, however once there, Florodine, and his army, and then hlaalu come, and Miran never sent the reinforcements, so the Silhouette escape with the other silhouettes and moldair, and they kill miran. Then he will have to find a new place to work for. Though if any of you have an idea of what he should join just tell me

I do believe I have already said the bridges going into Vivec have been withdrawn. as to how you have a battering ram in water, ramming into a gate that is 10 feet above the water's surface is beyond me.

Since we seem to have forgotten in this moldair must win campaign, let us look at Vivec as it is:


You are coming in from land, the first thing you come across is Water, oh my. this really does pose a problem since you can't really access the walls without crossing the water, especially since the water gets a good 15-20 feet deep right neer the walls. and I withdrew the bridges to the gates long ago in my first battle post.

So seeing as how this is part of the ocean there are tides, so the Gate into Vivec would be positioned above the highest tide, a good 6-10 feet above the water surface. with no bridge available to your army you would need to have a battering ram that is either on a boat, or is 25-26 feet in height (water depth+ position of gate)

You must then also consider that sylphs are detroying any unkown ship entering Vivec's waters, to you really couldn't get a battering ram out there as it would be sunk long before it reaches the locale.

You must then consider the height of the walls, a good 20 feet in height from city level, which is approximately at the same hieght as the gate from teh water's surface, but can be higher up. This would make the water front side of the walls a good 26-30 feet in height. and The towers are 10 feet higher than the wall, making them 36-40 in height from the outside. so in order to be able to escalte to wall height the siege towers would need to be on boats (which has already been explained as to why it would not work. Or they would have to be built in such a manner that you overcome the depth of the water, and the height of the wall. which means your siege towers would hve to be about 60 feet in height. And this is only if you attack the lowest parts of the city.

All-in-all it is a very well designed and efficient fortress. Yet you disregard the actual realism of these obstacles and instead attack vivec as if it were Ald-rhun or something.

You realy should revise your battle tactics for as it currently stands your moves make little or now sense for attacking a city that is in the water and is SURROUNDED by water.


Let us also address something else. You are the one stupid enough to erect leather tents over your army, It is therefore YOUR responsability to deal with the aftermath. It takes seconds for the leather to be penetrated and the spores to fill the space under the tarps. This is logica, so anything withing lets say 20feet of the landing sporebags would have a high concentration of spores withing 5-10 seconds. You also said you had erected these tarps over your army, and since your army is so large It is not possible for them to escape from beneath the tarps in time to escape the spores, or the burning tarps. many, by the thousands even would inhale the spores at tixoc levels, and the air thick with spores would ause troops to begin hacking and coughing as their mucus membranes in their lung are covered in the spores, and their boddies are trying to rid themselves of the spores. under extreme exposure the spores would block airways and people would choke. this is guaranteed to happen, and considering the enormous size of your army, the casualties from direct exposure would be in the hundreds if not the thousands. at lighter exposures the lungs would still be trying to rid themselves of the spores, and therefore your would have troops in the thousands that would be impaired from combat, this is disregarding the toxicity of the spores, once that kicks in you would have a large percentage of the impaired group suffering from illness caused by the toxin, and some of these would die later on a few hours after exposure, some even a few days.

So It is IMPOSSIBLE for your army to mirculously escape from under the tarps, and somehow miraculously suffer no ill effect from inhaling hundredas of thousands of spores.

This is far from realistic. So stop your invincible stance here and suffer the price of War. your army is after all MORTAL. I have not objected to your killing of my ordinators, And Personally you have suffered much more damage than you say you have. So please if you are going to wage war, be realictic and suffer the casualties that would come from these actions.

Hmm g-modding has a new king Megil. The tarp thing was a real tactic, used by Josephus at the battle of Jotapata when Vespasian invaded Galilee, it was fresh leather, not flamable, and for the most part it only fell under heavy stones. And being fresh leather it wasn't flammable. So with your logic, things that have been proven have no bering on anything very well, i quit this battle,

These are fireballs were talking here. Things that cause nice soft, wet living tissure to turn to ash very quickly (unless your a dunmer, they're hard to burn by any means). Fireballs have a nasty habbit of turning even the freshest leather tarp to a burning deathtrap.

Though I have to wonder why Megil used 'mushroom spores' when frankly, poison spells could have achieved the same effect. *shrug*



Editted the townsfolk to a but of foolhardy adventurers. 'cause....you know, adventurers have a nasty habit of doing stupid compassion, and I didn't feel compelled to change my post that much.

Yes but his mages aren't anywhere near the camp. they camped quite a ways from the city, so even their catapults wouldn't reach their, i knew that when megil said he was attacking there, but went along with it to not cause arguement

Hmm what about the Telvanni killing former members of the temple or something, i mean they never liked the temple anyway, and i would think that would be a soft spot for Redoran. Also Minque, can you have Serene talk with Florodine, the Molag Mar people haven't done much, and i kinda want Florodine to have something bigger, cause he is named after my character in the game. So since Redoran and Molag Mar used to work together, they could want to reforge an alliance

Yeah there is a battle, but Dalrus (hlaalu governess of Caldera) Stauros(councelor of hlaalu) and Florodine (Hero and king of Molag mar) have pretty much won it. However you can jump in to take part in the end of the battle and from there do whatever.

then The Hlaalu infantry and archers moving bodies around in the silhouette's old base camp. and the Silhouette's army is attacking the walls of northern vivec....

Hmm Sorry, but you need to define what you are doing then.

You said the tarps were "catching" the mushrooms, which would make them in range of the artillery, meaning that you put them over the acting army, as the artillery can't reach your main camp. so my apologies there.

Telvanni are kinda 'meh' on the temple. So just killing them seems out of character. Its the temple that dislikes them. Telvanni are isolationist and don't care much about things not pertaining to them.

The solution to this redoran/telvanni dispute is simple now that I think about it; the Telvanni could just figure out that the redoran are helping the ashlanders.

The Redorans are dressed up as and given the weapons of ashlanders when assiting Ashlanders against Telvanni incursions. The only way to identify them might be a retained military air/posture to them, or something of that sort.

4. Are we going to introduce that deserter, i.e a random ashlander who will go to Telvanni, and who wants to control him?
5. Will kaushad reveal to Sedrane that he´s his father?

Yeah ill revive my character. Also you have to know that he is not a very good leader, he is mostly drunk, and picks fights when hes drunk. So the deserter will be from my tribe. I can control him, or anyone of you who is involved with it. It could actually be Darum's wife. Also i could take Wred, two of my character's are doomed to die. The Silhouette actually could live, though he won't take part in WoH once the war starts. So that's one character gone. And then Darum is going to die in the battle with Telvanni.

Oh yes he will be mad, and you can expect him to accuse the other tribal leaders for taking her. She is as i said very beautiful, not in Dalrus's outright Seductive beauty, however Yurna is very proper looking which is why Darum wanted her as his wife. He is going to most likely accuse sedrene since he is younger then the other ashkans.

And the telvanni leaders, i think there is only one Telvanni and that is Amil. Which is why i want Yurna to join them after this. Though that is yet to be decided, ill see how her character develops

Yeah same here, only two at the moment. Dalrus, and Florodine, though Darum is going to be active from now on since we're getting back to the ashlander thing. The Silhouette as i said, will not attack untill i see that the RP is dying, like this last attack certainly got people to start posting. And it also got everyone into New Vivec, so more RPing is possible. So he's more of a plot starter.

alright the silhouette with Miran's army attacking New Vivec, and a coalition of Molag Mar and Hlaalu destroyed the army. Now hlaalu and Molag Mar are in vivec, and almost everyone's character is there except the telvanni. DoomedOne is no longer in it, and dantrag is the leader of the RP so the war is going to start shortly, and a deserter ashlander is going to tell Telvanni that Redoran is attacking them under the guise of ashlanders

Serene and Jonacin are in vivec. Serene has got visitors, Otik, and Dalrus, but they are about to leave.

The Ashlanders: there is a deserter, Darum´s wife, Yurna who got tired of her husband treating her bad so she´s gone to Telvanni and have spoken to MasterAryon. When Darum discovered her gone he ccused Sedrane of taking her because Sedrane is soooo sexy ....j/k

Sedrane didn´t take her of course but thise two hotspurs had a fight. Darum injured Sedrane and Kyara(!) is now trying to heal him.

Kaushad is concerned.

Sul-Matuul was also injured in the fight tryong to make peace!

Akar and Dahleena finally arrived at Serene´s and Jonacin´s manor, they had this companion with them, Dimitre who also is in the manor, wanting Serene to revive his murdered family.

I don´t know if i like the idea of Serene being a necromancer though!"

Now Akar is axious to see Leni, his lil´sister......
