OOC: It has begun!
Lord Agnar
It had only been a few minutes since Jadier left his stronghold, and Agnar was furious to learn of his brother's death. Jadier would pay for this mistake.
"Prepare an escort for me; I wish to travel." he told a servant.
Upon securing an escort, he headed east towards the penal colony to aquire the assisstance of a certain dunmer. All the other Lords of Skyrim used the assassin, why not him?
He entered the colony and spoke with the guards to set up a meeting with Rahvin. The guards told him to wait while they fetched the mer.
Lord Jadier
Jadier left his meeting with Lord Agnar feeling somewhat scared. He had not known the murderer's identity, and if he had, he still would have executed him. He was fearful though, and hoped to be back in Falcreath very soon.
He headed back to the quarters provided by Agnar to speak with his son. As well as another secret person...
Brianna Sarethi, Jadierīs quarters, the hidden bedroom
Brianna tried to comb her hair but failed...again! It never let itself be neat and shiny, just remained the mass of dishevelled curls as usual..
She stomped her foot angrily, "What took him so long? " Jadier should have been back two hours ago, "Goddamnit, why is he always late"
She was hungry for company, the bed was set hours ago and the candler were almost burnt down.....
Brianna sighed and finally sat down on the bed staring at the closed door....
Flint Ironwood, in an inn close to lord Agnar's stronghold
,,Yep, things just never went right." The Breton thought as he downed yet another cup of Nordic ale. His vision was getting rather blurred but apart from that, this stuff wasn't as strong as they all said.
As for his reason to be depressed, his last job went rather wrong. Oh, it wasn't much to start with. Just some weird Nord who wanted Flint (together with some other thieves the guy picked of the streets) to steal Lord Agnar's pillow. Piece of cake, but those damn amateurs messed up. Flint didn't feel bad about leaving those losers behind, but now he wasn't going to get any money.
,,Next time, I'll ask to get paid in advance." He muttered and counted his last coins to see how many drinks he could buy before running out of money.
Gorrmund sat in his room, flipping through one of his many books on mastering swordmanship. "What a bore. I've read and re-read five chapters now, what is taking father so long?" he thought before putting the book into its rightful bookcase. He sat and pondered what to do before coming up with a new way to amuse himself. He went to his desk, grabbed his feather pen, an piece of paper and a full ink well and got to work on designing the wepon of his dreams. "I'll wait til' dad comes home, tell him I'm teleporting back home and get to work on this right away".
Lord Jadier, Bedroom
Jadier had been about to walk into the bedroom where Brianna waited, but he saw his son sitting down in the room. He didn't want his son to know of his infidelity when it came to his marriage.
"Sorry I'm late." was the weak apology he offered. "Agnar got angry over some situation."
Rahvin, Penal Colony
Rahvin was working in the quarry, mining for iron ore as was usual in the colony when he was approached by guards.
"You have a visitor." they informed him.
"That's great. Tell him to wait." Rahvin replied, shaking the snow out of his hair before going back to work.
"I'm afraid he's no common visitor." the guard snapped back. "You never have common visitors."
Rahvin sighed and held out his hands so that thely could chain him for the visit. Another brief respite from the colony was all he could hope for, and it was exactly the chance he would be forced to take.
He sat down in the appointed room and the guards wasted no time in chaining him to the chair.
Agnar sat across from him, twiddling his thumbs as if he were the only one in the room.
"What do you want?" Rahvin asked when the guards left.
"I require your services." Agnar replied.
"Spare me the diplomatic crap. You want me to kill someone. Who?" Rahvin snapped back.
"Lord Jadier of Falcreath. His guards, his son, and anyone else travelling with him."
"Or?" Rahvin asked; he always had to see what his options were.
"Or you can die here." Agnar said flatly. "I can ensure that you never leave this place again."
Rahvin sighed. "Fine. But there are a few things I want."
"Like?" Agnar asked.
"I want my things returned to me; the guards should have locked them up in a chest for when I leave this place, but they're as crooked as theives." Rahvin answered.
"And?" Agnar asked, sensing that there was more.
"I want to eat at your table. The food here tastes worse than Cyrodiilic sewage." Rahvin continued.
"Done." Agnar answered. "I'll contact you again when I have recuited your partners."
"Whoa." Rahvin said. He would have held his hand up, but it was chained to his other arm and again to a chair. "I can't work with anyone else."
"This is too important, Rahvin." Agnar replied. "I can't have you botching this."
Rahvin sighed as Agnar left; at least he would be out of this hellhole soon enough.
Silver-Tongue ,entering the city gates
*he doesn't speak, these are his thoughts*
''Haafingar at least! I expected the Skyrim to be cold, but this is rediculus!Ah,i should stop complaining.I am here to do the job, which won't be a easy. ''
The Argonian shivered. With his head down he only took a small look at the town
''I should find an inn.Inns must be warm.Besides,i better blend in the background of this freezing hell''
He enters the inn
''Hmmm, not much, but it will do.I better take one of the local drinks.I will take a seat in that table in the corner of the room. There is a good view from there..... ''
Brianna, Jadierīs secret bedroom
She heard him enter....coming up the stairs...she shivered with excitement, "At last" she thought.
Then the steps stopped.....she heard him talk with his son..and he did not enter the bedroom..
Brianna sat quiet but she trembled with anger and disappointment..
Naturally she understood he could not reveal their relationship to Gorrmund, he just knew her as the healing-woman who was a part in the household, but just at the same rank as any other servant!
Flint Redburn, the inn close to the stronghold of Agnar.
Flint looks up at the Altmer. He never even noticed the Elf till he opened his mouth.
He casually looked around the room. The inn had gotten a lot more crowded since last time he watched. When was that, five ales ago?
He also noticed an Argonian standing against the wall.
,,What's an Argonian doing here? This guy must freeze to death within seconds if he goes outside." Flint thinks before finally deciding to pay some attention to the man who had offered him something.
,,Sure thing. One Nordic ale please. So, did anything happen when I was gone?" Flint says in a friendly manner that is meant to make everyone else think that it was a conversation between old friends. Most of Flint's jobs were of a secretive nature, and he had the feeling that this one would be no different. Best not to raise any suspicion.
Flint Redburn, the inn close to Agnar's stronghold
Flint thought for a while. Last time he'd been near Lord Agnar, he was trying to steal his pillow. While he had been seen by the guards thanks to those idiots he was supposed to work with, he doubted that anyone would recognize him. As long as he would walk in like he belonged there, no one would look twice at him. He rubbed the back of his gloved hand. It was itching again.
,,Really, I can stay at your family's house for tonight? Thank you. I know the place. Ah, how I loved the taste of sweet apple pie. Why don't you go ahead? It would be a shame to leave my ale unfinished" Flint says out loud and took another mouthfull of ale.
Bishop, The Inn
He didn't hear it all, but he heard enough.
Thats just one problem with rumors... too many people hear them. Sometimes the wrong people.
Until now he had appeared focused on refilling his metal flask of brandy, but he kept an ear out. Even observing a glance from the polished reflection of his flask from time to time.
Half a bottle left...
The two he had the misfortune of overhearing seemed to be concluding their business... The Breton was staying behind.
He would wait until the other left, then he would confront the Breton. He had a few things he would say to him...
"You sure you have the time to make this sword? Spit blades and runes aren't done easily" Fjordsvier the armourer said. "I'm sure I have the time and I'm sure it's possible. Remember that sword hilt with the basket hand guard I was going on about? The one perfect for a strong fencer? Well I was thinking one of those would be strong enough for a double katana and I would be the bane of my enemies if the blades are light enough" Fjordsvier shook his head in agreement, he knew that Gorrmund couldn't let this sword go and that it would be useless to try to make him. "Fine, I'll find a good blade if you can put that engravement on the new shipment of armour" Fjordsvier pointed to the suit of steel armour, which had been finished only a week ago.
Jadier
Jadier watched his son go before finally stepping into the room where Brianna waited.
"Sorry I'm late, Brianna; things got complicated with Agnar."
Rahvin
When Agnar left, the guards returned to unchain him.
"So you're free for another week, eh?" the guard asked.
"Something like that." Rahvin answered, rubbing his arms where the chains once were.
"Come on, let's get your stuff."
Rahvin followed the guard to the storehouse, where the chest full of his things was placed. Rahvin picked up his multiple daggers, all sheathed and ready to be buckled on.
He left his rags on; the clothes left in the chest were in worse shape. He threw the useless things out.
He turned to the guard. "These are all I need."
The guard nodded. "Then make your way to Agnar's place. Orders straight from him."
Rahvin didn't answer. He merely walked through the open gate and along the road towards Haafingar.
Brianna
Brianna smiled as Jadier entered the bedroom
"Awww, darling, what was the problem with Agnar? You never tell me anything nowadays, I am not that fragile you know, I can take it! Besides I even might be of some help to you...you know Iīll do anything for you"
She started to help Jadier undress, while giving him some massage on his back..
"You are so tense my darling, come here let me wipe the stress and pain from your back"
She started caressing him lovingly as she took off his shirt
" So tell me now, what was that fuzz with Agnar?"
Esethir, approaching the road to Haafingar
Esethir strapped the staff to his back where it hung limply, its golden radiance illuminating the fresh snow. The Altmer turned and trudged through the knee high covering towards the main road to his destination, glad of his fur boots. It was with a sigh of relief that he finally felt his foot press upon the solid earth of a pathway.
He smirked as he saw a lone man walking away from him, towards his goal. From the looks of him he was of the same mind set as the Altmer, so Esethir rushed forwards quietly until he was near the man.
"What's a fine gentleman like yerself doing travelling alone on such a harsh day as this one?" he asked, proceeding to walk in step with the man. "May I enquire as to where you are going?" he questioned, smiling harmlessly.
OOC: Will edit if this conflicts with plans but at the moment, I've got my guy starting off at the estate.
Deagan, Agnar's office
Deagan sat in a comfortable chair in Agnar's office, drinking fine brandy that was in the office when he'd arrived. He wondered why Agnar had called him here, probably wanted something stolen for him again, some priceless artifact that he would be paid little for recovering.
He had been retrieved by a runner and brought to the manor but he was still unsure of what he was doing, only that his services were needed by lord Agnar and things would become very complicated for him if he chose not to come.
Deagan knew not to disobey his best source of income so he waited calmly in the office for Agnar to arrive and tell him what was going on.
OOC: All set to meet the others.
Lord Agnar, Haafingar Palace
Agnar walked into his office to be greeted by Deagan. He hadn't expected the man so soon.
"Deagan," he greeted, "What a pleasant surprise. You responded quickly."
Help yourself to my brandy. he thought to himself sourly.
Rahvin, Road to Haafingar
"Why, good sir, I'm looking for employment." he said in a fake cheery tone. "And a good coat." he added.
Jadier
Jadier sighed. "Agnar's angry. Remember that murderer I had killed? It was Agnar's brother."
Brianna
"Oh..no...that was....unfortunate, hmmm didnīt you know? So what happens now? You might be in danger darling, maybe I should sneak into Agnarīs house and get some information on whatīs going on?"
Brianna frowned, how could Jadier be so careless?
Deagan, Agnar's office
Deagan looked over Agnar, he looked just the same as when he'd last seen him quite some time ago. He picked up his glass of brandy and drank from it once more before placing it back on the table and standing.
"Yeah real pleasant...anyways, I was close...just finished up with some work near here when your messenger found me." Deagan said
Now what do you want...
"Why exactly have you brought me here?" Deagan asked
Edit: Crap, thought someone had posted that they walked in...sorry.
Lord Agnar, Haafingar Palace
"We have a situation I need you to help me with." Agnar replied, pouring himself a lass of brandy before seating himself. "You've heard of Lord Jadier, right? Lord of Falcreath?"
Jadier, Bedroom
"No, it's fine. I just need some rest before we leave in the morning." he answered. "We'll deal with it then."
Brianna
"Hmm okay then...now will you come to bed now my dear? Iīm awfully tired...itīs best to sleep on this, and I could do your back also if you like?"
Brianna gently kissed Jadierīs hand.....
Deagan, if you don't know by now...
Deagan took his seat beside the desk once again and stared at the floor for a moment, acting as if he was trying to remember.
Of course I know who he is...who doesn't?
"I believe I've heard of him a few times...why do you ask?" Deagan asked calmly
He picked up his glass and poured more of the brown liquid from the flask beside him into it.
"Oh and I hope you don't mind me drinking your brandy." Deagan added sarcastically before raising his glass and smiling before taking a drink
He sat down the glass and wiped his unshaven face with his hand to remove the brandy from his lips as he waited for a reply.
Esethir, road to Aagnar
Esethir grinned, sensing a suitable prey.
"Well if you're looking for a new coat, you might want to meet with Lord Agnar. I here he has plans in the works." he informed the man, keeping curtuous as to not turn the man away.
"In fact, I'm heading that way myself, care to join me?" the Mer asked, with a slight skip and a small raise in pace.
Esethir thought of where his boss, Deagen was. If he was out getting another contract this may interfere with this enterprise.
Jadier
He nooded in both agreement and exhaustion and laid down on the bed, closing his eyes.
Rahvin, Road to Haafingar
Rahvin smiled; unless he was mistaken, this was to be one of his comrades in the upcoming task.
He still feigned ignorance. "What kind of plans?"
Lord Agnar, Haafingar Palace
"Of course I don't mind, Deagan," he replied in the same sarcastic tone. He returned to business. "I want Jadier and everyone with him dead."
Meanwhile,Siver-Tongue decided to forget about the job that Breton and Altmer were talking about.Instead he was relaxing in his room
*thinks*
''Ah,who cares about those two anyway?Maybe i should just get back to my original job here......No,i can do that whenever i want and i would need some plaining too.....Maybe i should get some rumors from here first.I doubt there is something decent to do,but i should try anyway''
Finaly he decides to get out of the inn room and looks for some intresting rumors. He decided to check the bartender first. They have all kinds of customers, and they probably overheard something
''Greetings dear barkeep'' said Argonian politely
''Greetings sir.How can i serve you? ''said the barkeep
''A glass of your splendid mead, please.'' said Silver-Tongue,even the mead was discousting for his taste
Ah,so you like our drinks! You have a good taste master Argonian...... said the barkeep
''You flatter me'' said Argonian, now aware that he charmed the barkeep
''Anyway,is there any intresting work to do around here?Adventurer-like hapenings.''
''Hmm well, now that you mention it,i hear that lord Agnar was recruiting. said the barkeep''
''Recruiting for what? '' said Silver-Tongue,with a calm face, well hiding his curiosity
''I don't know.Maybe you should ask at the palace. If you're up for that kind of work, that is.'' said the barkeep
''Oh,no i'm just a humble man a little bit curius.I'm not that kind of crazy adventurer types.Well farewell for now''
''Goodbye!'' said the barkeep
Silver-Tongue figured he should maybe check this kind of ''work''....Who knows, maybe some money can be pulled from this
And so he went to the palace
Esethir, Road to Haafingar
He turned his head slightly, glancing at the Dunmer. What was a Dunmer doing up in Skyrim? The direction he must have come from was the penal colony...so he was a criminal by nature. It would be safe to tell him.
"I am not totally sure friend, information is lost if passed thorough many mouths. But to accept I have a feeling you have to be used to getting your hands...bloody."
He told the man, his lips curling upwards as he attempt to lure the Mer into service.
"Join with the troops of Deagan and we shall get you that new coat...and so much more! We can assist you if you are wounded, share with you when we succeed and get you out of situations you would not wish to be alone in. Safety in numbers friend! Think about it." he instructed, turning back to face the road ahead of him. They were close to the Lord's manor now.
Rerlas->Falcreath
Rerlas stepped into the Smithy's armory as he knocked on the door, "Hey Fjordsvier, you still here?" Rerlas called inside and closed the door behind him, "I need another quiver or two of arrows." Shaking off the snow Rerlas wandered the front of the store, looking over the familiar supply of armor and equipment.
Esethir, Haafinger
Esethir felt like he was being slapped by a mouldy, yet unexpectedly refreshing, fish as the Dunmer ranted about his boss. The man was the one who arranged meetings, fought most battles, and kept count of their earnings. He was better than Esethir at this profession, no matter what this beggar said.
At the begger's final words a look of confusion seeped through the Altmer's 'Kipper look'.
"I...Aboard? Aboard what?" he stammered, glancing around and placing his hand on th hilt of his sword subtly.
Deagan, Agnar's manor
Deagan looked Agnar's face over carefully to make sure he was serious before choosing his words...Agnar never joked about business.
Oh, thats all? Now I remember why I rarely visit here...
"So you want me to kill a lord and his entire escort for you?" Deagan asked slowly
He shifts position in the chair and takes another drink from his glass before continuing.
"Don't get me wrong...I'll take the job...if the pay is right." Deagan said, his fun side was gone now, time for business
He played with the hilt of his sword with his fingers in anticipation but he tried not to show his excitement, he wanted to act as professional as possible.
Xuchilbara, Road to Haafinger
Xuchilbara staggered as he walked, smashed from all the ale he downed back at the inn. He was pissed! Mainly at himself for spending his last ammount of money he had on the bottle of ale.
Some creature he couldn't reconize because of the beer-goggle-vision happened to come a little bit to close to him. Xuchilbara grabed the neck of the bottle and started pounding the creature with it, cursing profanities with each hit. He laughed at himself, but mostly at the creature.
Xuchilbara staggered to his feet and looked down the road and saw what looked like 4 people walkin' towards him, but being drunk, it could have very well been 2. All he knew was there was definately more than 1!
Hmmmm. Maybe they know where I can get a job, get some money!
Xuchilbara tossed the bottle aside and approached the strangers.
"Hey fellas, where ya headed? Do you know of any place anyone would have the servaces of a highly trained and experianced killer and mercenary?" Xuchilbara paused.
"Oh hey by the way, my name is Xuchilbara, but you can just call me bara!" Xuchilbara waited for a respawnse.
Brianna
Brianna kneeled beside Jadier on the bed, massageing his shoulders and down his back, he murmured a bit, obviously he felt good. After a while she laid herself down beside him, curled up against his back and fell asleep...
OOC: And thatīs what I have to do now! See you! Gīnight!
Rahvin, Haafingar
"We're both going to the same place, to do the same thing, I'll wager." Rahvin replied. But when he saw the look on the altmer's face, he got the feeling that he didn't know yet.
"We'll be killing a lord, and whatever other bastardes are travelling with him." he said to the altmer before a drunk approached him.
"Uhh...I would try a guild." he suggested to the stumbling man.
Lord Agnar, Haafingar Palace
"The pay will be suitable for you and your comrades, I'm sure." he answered, dropping a hint of the fact that there needed to be more assassins on the job.
Esethir, Haafinger
He scowled violently as he heard more killings had to be performed. More cold blooded murder to deal with! It was not what he needed...not after that incident with the lettuce and that countess.
"I see....well if its killings you can bet my boss will have found it. We'll most likely meet him there." he told the Dunmer, smirking.
As the drunken man approached Esethir kept back warily. He heard the Dunmer brush him aside, but this seemed to big an opportunity to miss. He leant towards the Dunmer and talked to him subtly.
"Right...I'm aboard then. Why don't we get another good pair of hands? As drunk as this fellow seems he can be sobered up quickly - And look at the size of that sword! He can be very lucrative for both of us." he told the beggar, his hand on the Dark Elf's shoulders to keep balance. He turned to the Imperial.
"Salutations friend! You're looking for a job you say? Well, travel with us and we will show you the way to a job...and beer. Yessir, lots more alcohol can be all yours." he stated, smiling cheerfully. It was working out well.
Rahvin, Haafingar
Moron, he thought, but kept it to himself. IF this altmer wanted to ruin the job as well as his own career, far be it from him to stop it.
"Yes, yes, come with us." he said in an exasperated tone. "It's too damned cold to be out here without a coat; can we please move a little faster?"
OOC: Deagan is still unaware that more than just Konrad's guy are coming.
Deagan, Agnar's office
Deagan noted the last thing that Agnar had said in his mind and thought for a moment.
The only one I told to meet me here was Esethir and he still hasn't shown...well I'm not blowing this contract because I don't have enough guys...just me and Esethir will get it done if we have to...
"Well I have a man on the way...but I don't have anyone else that can help." Deagan said cautiously trying not to keep Agnar from giving him the contract
"You know the quality of our work sir, me and Esethir will get it done." Deagan added
Maybe he's hinting at something...
Deagan started to think that perhaps Agnar had already called someone to aid him...Agnar probably knew that he only had one man nearby and asked someone to work with him.
"Wait...you're not expecting me to work with someone besides just Esethir are you?" Deagan asked in an unhappy tone
He sat his drink down on the table and stared at Agnar, waiting for an answer.
Silver-Tongue , In front of Palace,speaking to a guard
''Greeting'' said Argonian sharply
''An Argonian! What are you doing in the middle of Skyrim?haha, this is a good lough!''said the guard, quite amused with aperance of Silver-Tongue
''I seek apointment with Agnar''he said, clearly stating his intention
''First of all it's LORD AGNAR,and he doesn't just see everyone who ask to see him. What's your buisenes with out lord?''said the guard, quite offended
''I'm here for the work''said Silver-Tongue
''Oh,you mean the Assasination? You want to be hired?Well i will send the word that you seek a meeting. You will have to wait for the response''said the guard
The Argonian stayed silent.Even though he was freezing,he didn't want to show that in front of a guard. And now only Agnar's aproval is waited
Xuchilbara, Road to Haafinger
Bara pulled his humongous sword out of the ground that he had been using for balance, and flung it on his shoulder.
"Great! How far is it?"
Bara asked, with a greedy grin on his face, before turning around and start walking with the two.
Lord Agnar, Haafingar Palace
"Actually, I am." he answered before taking another sip of brandy. "A dark elf named Rahvin. All the lords around these parts use him, and they've had no complaints, so I figured I would try him out as well." he said as if he were speaking of the weather, not an assassination.
"I'm told he's no amatuer, the amount of times he's been used." he said with a small chuckle to himself.
Rahvin, Haafingar
"It's not too far." Rahvin answered, not hiding his distaste for the altmer's decision.
Esethir, Haafingar
"Not far at all." Esethir stated, pointing. "There, to the left of those pines. His manor" he directed their view. "That's where we get our pots of gold."
He walked with renewed vigour, it couldn't be far now.
OOC: Ok, Goodnight everyone. Someone please take over my character, try to act like I have done already, curteous, kind faithful and intelligent.
Have a good RP while I'm gone!
Red: If you threaten one more Swede I'll see to it that you're banned.

Deagan, Agnar's office
I'm not about to let some prison rat do my job for me...maybe I can get him to change his mind.
"I don't care how skilled he is...do you not think that I can handle it?" Deagan asked argumentatively
He drank from his glass once more and then stood, looking out the window.
"After all the times I've worked for you...I would have thought that you would understand and respect that I do not like to work with those outside my circle." Deagan said, now starting to calm down slightly
Deagan stares out the window silently waiting for Agnar's reply, hoping that he would allow him to work without the prisoner he'd recruited.
Agnar, Haalfingar Palace
"I mean no disrespect by this, but-" his response was cut off when three figures walked in; a large imperial, a scrawny dunmer, and an altmer.
Rahvin, Haalfingar Palace
"Hello, Lord Agnar." he greeted, ignoring the other fellow while he made himself omfortable.
Deagan, Agnar's office
Deagan turned his eyes quickly to the door in which three men emerged, one he instantly knew to be Esethir, another appeared to be rather drunk, and the last seemed to know Agnar.
The last guy must be the assassin, he's obviously got ties to Agnar with the way he's acting...too laid back to be new.
"Glad you could make it Esethir." Deagan said, quickly moving on to the next order of business without waiting for a reply
"I assume that you are the one I will be working with...you don't look like much... but I've learned that looks can be decieving..." Deagan stated dully looking at the ex-inmate
Deagan picked up the brandy from beside his chair which was now occupied by the assassin and downed the rest of it in a single drink, slamming the cup back onto the table.
Deagan turned to the assassin and looked at him.
He's probably heard all about me from Esethir...doesn't seem to like me much either...
"We'll be working together so I figure we'd best get this out of the way now...I'm Deagan...and what should I call you?" he asked
Xuchilbara, Agnar's Office
Bara inturupted him, spiking his sword into the floor.
"Are you the one i need to talk to about getting a job?" Bara said demandingly, while checking to see if there was any left over booze in the guys bottle.
Rahvin, Agnar's Office
Rahvin looked to the drunk man standing in the room. "Calm yourself, uh...Big Guy." he stammered, unable to figure out his name. "No need for such antics."
He turned back to this Deagan fellow. "So you're Deagan, huh? The guy that'll get me a coat, heal my wounds, share spoils with me and get me out of sticky situations?" he continued with extreme sarcasm.
"I'm Rahvin."
Xuchilbara, Agnar's Office
Bara pulls the sword out of the floor and slumps it once again on his shoulder, then continued to make himself comfortable on a near by chair, getting ready to listen to their conversation.
Deagan, Agnar's office
Deagan decided not to respond to the remark about the coat and such considering he didn't understand all of that rubbish. His services were only available to his friends and those within his group, Rahvin was neither friend nor was he a foe...he was exactly where Deagan couldn't decide and that made him uneasy.
Mysterious things bothered Deagan, he didn't like things he know and this new guy was one of those things.
Generally Deagan could read people but this man seemed so unfocused on anything that it was impossible to tell exactly what he was thinking at any time.
Deagan picked up the bottle and poured himself the last of the brandy, drinking it quickly before starting to speak once again.
"Listen...Rahvin, I don't like you any more than you like me. If you stand between me and my mark then gods help you mate, I'll give it all I have to end your life, I don't care how good you are." Deagan said in a dull and serious voice to show that he was no coward
"It's nothing personal but I don't trust people that I don't know, so don't give me a reason not to trust you and we'll be fine..." Deagan said trying to be as strong and authoratative sounding as possible
He sat in the uncomfortable wooden chair in the corner, the only remaining chair that was open to sit in, took the small dagger from his boot, and began shaving the hair covering his chin with it slowly.
"We should probably get on with this soon...where is the target sir?" Deagan asked Agnar
I don't like this one bit...but if I must I will work beside this man...at least I've got Esethir with me...thats one person I can trust.
Rahvin
"Good. Now that's settled." he said with a broad smile. This would be interesting.
Lord Agnar
Agnar cleared his throat loudly to put things back in order. "Lord Jadier is currently under my roof; I don't want him killed there because then I have to deal with it. I want him killed on the road. By 'bandits'." he said, emphasizing the quotes with his fingers.
"Are we clear?"
Deagan, Agnar's office
Deagan shifted position in the hard wooden chair and put the dagger back into his boot slowly looking up at Agnar.
Are we clear? What kind of question is that? I should say no just for that...I hate it when these nobles ask obvious questions like that...
"Crystal sir." Deagan said barely managing to suppress what he wanted to say
He thought for a moment about the gold and valuables the noble would have on top of the reward he would recieve from Agnar.
"An arrow here a dagger there...leave some cheap weapons, a ripped bandana, and you have your bandits. The witnesses won't be sayin otherwise." Deagan smiled, he could think like a bandit and had extensive knowledge in that field.
Deagan looked out the window once more.
"When they leave we will meet them on the road a ways out...I'll be able to see these boys in action...should be interesting to say the least." Deagan said
OOC: I'm off for the night, see yall tomorrow.
Dalrus Varus, Salinc North of Haalfingar Palace in the Mountains
Dalrus looked up to the young nord woman. She had tears in her eyes, however, who wouldnt after such a bear attack. Energy came from Dalrus's hands and into the nord. The woman had blond hair and a pale complexion, especially next to Dalrus's tan skin and dark brown hair. She was trying to keep strong.
"Its alright, I would be crying to with such pain. Your ankle is broken and it will take a few more times for me to heal it. See me soon" she said smiling at the woman.
"Thank you miss Varus, its good to know the town in under your protection" The woman said whiping tears out of her eyes and limping out of the tower. Dalrus smiled but only for a second before she ran off to the sound of someone yelling for help. Dalrus was not just the town healer, she was it's protector and its count in all but name. None of the Nord Barons (ha i found away around saying Nord lord) had claim over the land, however, it was technically closest to the land of Agnar, therefore it was his. This was not a problem, however, as he did not even know the place existed and all that was visible was the tower that was built ages ago by the wizard who taught Dalrus.
(thats a cue that Agnar should send men here ill PM you Danny)
Xuchilbara, Agnar's Office
Furious, Bara speared his sword into the ground once again, but this time making a thundering roar everyone could hear and feel.
"Argh! Where the heck am I in all this?" Bara said, with a furious, but caucky grin.
"I need a job!" Bara exclaimed under his breath.
Telina, private quarters.
Telina was in her private quarters, in Haafingar castle...like she always was at this time of day...She was looking forward to seeing Gorrmund again, as her huge amount of work...and his as well, had kept them apart for a while.
A knock on the door, and later a big Nord entered...at first Telina though that it was Gorrmund...but of coursde it wasn't...just her luck.
"Now sera, what may I do for you", she asked politely, despite the fact that he had interrupted her lovely daydream.
"Ah ye see tis lassie, I've 'ad tis...tis...itch in many days now, and well, it's itching in my chest, an I have been coughing up bloodbubbles some times...and I was wonderen if ye could cure me"...he looked as I mention it, rather frail, and...spent.
Curing him was the simplest of matters, as a little potion of cure common disease was good enough...but it was rather disturbinbg though...this was a supposedly exterminated disease, and still it was blossoming now, Telina had actually cured seven people earlier this week...so it was not difficoult to see that something was happening.
Telina packed down her alchemical equipment, and went to see Gorrmund instead...perhaps he had just gotten home, and was taking a nap. But he wasn't there, Telina felt a tear drip from her eye, as she was beginning to believe that they would never get real time so they could be...together.
Instead she sat down on his bed, and silently sobbed for herself a bit...
OOC: She is sad...and worried...just if anyone wondered.
Just outside Agnar's Office Window
"who is that in there?" I looked through the window and was happy to see all kinds of important documnets and some gold over on the desk.
Tinkle Tinkle
The sound of breaking glass alreted the people in the room.
"oh well they aren't always stupid"I thought to myself...
this is Arygon Entering the game
(Wow, I go to school and see what happens here. I think Flint is still in the inn, so I'll have to play by that.)
Flint Ironwood, the inn near Agnar's place.
Flint woke up with a pounding headache.
,,Oh crap, I knew getting drunk was a bad idea." He muttered and shook his head.
He then sat upright in his seat as he remembered his appointment.
,,Damn, whoever he was, he must have left by now. That means I'll have to get to the palace myself. I'll just sneak past the guards and pop into view after entering the throne room. That should make a good impression. He might hire me on despite being late. I wonder what he wants me for anyway." The Breton thought.
He checked if he still had all of his possessions with him and then ran out of the door with a fortify speed spell to help him get to the palace sooner. Not exactly sneaky, but he was already late.
Skoll Yggdrasil
South Skyrim, Wilderness near Falcreath
Skoll made his way through the deep snow in the woods not far from Falcreath. He had summoned Fenrir that walked by his side. His armor had gotten pretty messed up when one of his traps failed when tracking down a Snow Bear. He had been in Falcreath a couple of times before where he had been allowed to use some of the smith tools there to repair his armor...
Falcreath soon appeared between the trees and Skoll dismissed Fenrir before he entered the city going into Fjordsvier's armory.
Esethir, Agnar's office
"I brought some...recruits boss." Esethir stated with an embarassed smile towards the drunk Imperial. "A bit of sobering up and he'll be fine."
This was against what they usually did, but Esethir was getting tired of the two man army he was in. It was time to widne their horizons....and bank balances.
He listened to the conversation palying out in front of him with utmost care, taking in every word. But even through his immense concentration he couldn't fil to catch the sound of glass, and the sight of a hand reaching over into the office.
He drew his sword quickly, swinging it down and letting it rest on the man's forearm.
"Show yourself thief, or you shall never pick a pocket again." Esethir called, smiling as he did it. He as neither in a good position nor morally able to chop a man's arm off, the thief was safe. But he didn't know that.
Flint Ironwood, nearing Agnar's palace.
The Breton stormed through the night faster than a horse and arrived at the palace soon enough. He took a bundle of black rags from his belt. In reality, it was an ingenious helm with hidden Glass plating. After checking if the Glass plates were in the right position, he slipped it over his head. Now, thanks to the dark black of his clothing, he would be completely invisible as long as he sticked to the shadows.
Flint sneaked past the first couple of guards and began to climb the castle walls with nothing but his hands and feet to keep him from falling. He arrived at the top without drawing attention. Now, he would only need to pass through the courtyard and get in through a window. A rich lord wouldn't miss a single window. His mask hid a look of surprise when he actually saw that someone was already hanging near a broken window.
,,What the? Why do thieves always have to get to the same idea before I do?" He muttered in surprise and held his breath. Did a guard just hear him talk?
Rahvin, Agnar's OFfice
Rahvin shook his head, half in amusement, half in sympathy for the theif's lack of intelligence.
Who the hell breaks a window of a room in which there are five people standing around? even worse, who the hell sticks their hand through that window?
His only worry was the fact that the altmer was the one holding the theif; he invited the drunk imperial into their plans, why not a stupid theif?
Xuchilbara, Agnar's Office
Bara drew his sword from the ground in a defencive stance once he heard the glass break. Bara panned around the room to read the others' expressions.
In the silence bara heard one of the guys call out to a theif that wasn't there. Bara went into an offencive stance with his blade and searched the room, looking for the "theif" that no one was able to see.... or at least he couldn't see him.
Bagh, stupid ale! Bara thought to himself.
Deagan, Agnar's office
Deagan did not like this a bit, first Esethir brings some half wit drunk into the plans and then a thief breaks in right after they arrive...things were seeming more and more strange by the minute. Now the drunken man was patrolling the room with his sword drawn, looking for the man with his arm in the window.
What in the name of the divines is going on here???
"What is this the meeting ground for the drunk and stupid?" Deagan asked himself aloud
Deagan held his forehead with two fingers, these events were giving him a headache.
"I suppose that thieves get dumber every year...used to have a few skilled ones in this world..." Deagan stated in an annoyed tone
"And as you can imagine I am not pleased that you didn't consult me about the newest addition to our team, Esethir." Deagan said trying to sound unhappy but in reality he didn't care much, he'd given up on getting things his way
Though all of this had happened Deagan had not moved, he'd simply sat back and enjoyed the events as they unfolded before him. He was rather amused by all that had happened but also very saddened by the stupidity of the thief and Esethir's decision to bring along the drunk...maybe it wouldn't be so bad though.
"So...when do we start?" He asked with a slight grin, ignoring the drunk man hanging from the window...Agnar would decide what to do with him.
Esethir (Surprisingly), Agnar's office
Esethir cringed as he realised that he had not consulted Deagan. He ekpt his sword on the outstretched arm, but turned to face Deagan.
"I wasn't recruiting him permanantly, just brought him along to see what you thought of him. And on that same path...we could use a thief to keep us sneaky. He may be pretty bad, but the more the merrier I'd say." he rambled, grinning.
"What do you think A...Lord Agnar?" he asked, turning to face the Lord. He brushed his hair out of the way of his face with his left hand, whilst rubbing the sword up and down the thief's arm for dramatic effect.
Deagan, same place/same time
This thief is horrible...he'll probably get us caught if he comes along...
Deagan sat silently waiting for Agnar's decision on what to do with the thief that had broken into the mansion. The broken window let the cold breeze into the room and cooled him off a bit. He would have been unhappy with anyone that brought someone new into their crew besides Esethir.
Esethir had been part of his team for so long that Deagan couldn't get too mad at him for long, even when he botched up his plans horribly, things eventually worked themselves out.
Things are getting too weird around here...I hope we leave soon.
Lord Agnar, Agnar's Office
"It's up to you." he said, referring to everyone in the room. "I place you in charge from here; my part is done."
"I won't tolerate failure, though." he warned. "Now get out of my office; all of you. The servant outside will show you to your quarters."
Rahvin, Agnar's Office
Rahvin looked to the others, pretending as if he didn't hear Agnar's command to leave.
"That pathetic excuse for a theif is not helping with this." he said flatly. His life was on the line when it came to this job. He didn't want some amatuer messing it up.
Brianna, in bed with Jadier, somewhere in Agnarīs mansion
Brianna did not sleep well, she had this uneasy feeling in her gut.....she was tossing and turning, eventually falling in sleep with terrible nightmares. Waking up drenched in cold sweat...but there was nothing...Jadier was calmly snoring beside her..
Itīs probably just me, and my terrible imagination
I looked out at the drunk stumbling along with my camoleon he could see me, he was drunk enough he probably wouldn't have seen me anyway. I saw the Lord of the manor talking with others. I pulled out of the Altmers hold and dived out of window into the room. The drunk was stumbling toward me so I tossed him into the window where he lodged and was stuck there. "Good-day my Lord." I said calmly with my Dwemer Sword out in front. My glass already thrown and was stuck, quite nicely into the man who called himself Deagan. I stayed near the window, just in case...
Gorrmund left the Armoury with a sword ordered by a guard in Haafingar in hand, and walked to the stables at the outskirts of town. He ordered his horse Reyda, one of of three, out and rode off towards Harfingar.
Aaron Christophe
Salinc
"Father!" The gums of Aaron's mouth were nearly bloodless as he witnessed the scene afront of him, "For the love of the nine! What are you doing man!?" The young Christophe walked into his family home to unexpectedly observe his father beating his mother unconcious. He was however drunk, and completely in-coherent to Aaron's cries.
"honoured user!" The young man scream finally as he charged his larger father, "Leave her be!" Colliding into his father, Aaron manage to knock him over his mother. But his parent was oddly larger, and much stronger then he,
Christophe's fingers tore his short sword from its sheeth, "Not another step old man!" The threat was useless, and the older Christophe mercilessly charged his son.
Unfortionate for the father, flesh is much weaker then steel, and now both his parents layed dead, beside each other as if posed. Aaron notted in unwantted satisfaction at the strangly pleasent scene it permitted. His parents, side by side, seemingly peacefull. It was to much though, as the beginning of the blood trail made its way towards him.
Ashamed, and scared, Aaron did the only thing "safe" to him; Leave.
Rerlas->Falcreath
Rerlas raised an eyebrow when some kid rushed past him with a sword (correct me but I *think* you were in Falcreath right?). Rerlas waited a few more minutes for Fjordsvier but then picked up two quivers, scrawled a note and left the note and some money behind the counter. Rerlas wrapped up his cloak and went outside, locking up Fjordsvier's shop and headed to his shack outside town.
From the imperial city to chorrol and back to the city at the waterfront district's light house
Juliano swung his blade in an innocent and playful manner as he walked down the streets in the imperial city.
smiling, he winked and a passing noble high elf teen and he showed off his skills in his armor. Soon he was on his way to chorrol to home. He had greeted jauffre a hello and was making his way to his room as jauffre stopped him.
"Juliano, i have a assignmet for you." Juliano's eyes glistened as he paid attention to jauffre.
"one of our blades has been given word of an imminent assassination plot taking place in skyrim. I want you to go and travel there to skyrim with a few voulenteers from the blades."
*jauffre gives juliano a smile*Jauffre: " you wont be needing your uniform, so just take your fathers armor and be on your way. all the papers, documents, and equipment will be in a bag at the door."
Juliano: *sigh*"well, il be off then. But who's comming with me to skyrim?"
Jauffre: "i personaly dont know, all i know is that the person assigned with you on this mission will meet you at the imperial city's light tower in a boat"
Juliano: "hmm, allright.... ill be back as soon as i can"
juliano stepped out the door as jauffre looked out the window....
juliano arrived in the imperial city at night and awaited the new blade comming with him.
'ooc: hopefuly i can get one or two people to join me.....*hint-hint^-^*'
After a few hours, Telina got up again...she had todo something, as she hhated waiting, when she was alone.
Possibly she could always go back to Falcreath...no she had promised Brianna to stick with them...instead she went out onto the fields, where she started to pick up all sorts of plants and herbs.
(heck, I went to school again.)
Flint Ironwood, in the courtyard of Lord Agnar
Flint held his breath and waited in the shadows. Sure enough, a Nord came wandering over.
,,I thought I heard something! Who's there?!" He shouted.
,,Fool, if you had any chance of surprising me, you just blew it." Flint thought.
He then brought his hands to his mouth and began to imitate one of the many birds he knew.
,,Oh, it's just an owl." The guard said and went away.
Flint could only barely contain a chuckle and made his way to a small door. He activated his Invisibility spell and hopped in. He then walked through the corridors of the palace till he came to the door that should lead to the room with the window that thief had broken.
Flint removed his mask and turned visible again. He then opened the door.
,,Hi, sorry I'm late. The Altmer over there invited me. So, did I miss anything?" Flint said with a big grin. He did make sure he was ready to bolt out of the door if things went wrong.
I saw another person entering the room and decided that it would be a good time to bail out I dived out the window slid down the wall to the parapet trim, ran across 2 windows and slowly opened the window there and glanced in to see if it was occupied. It the only people were asleep so I slipped in...
Rahvin
Rahvin sighed as the theif got away and the new stranger burst through the doors.
"You need to keep a tighter grip on your altmer friend." he said to Deagan. "He invites everyone he sees."
"And who might you be?" he asked the newcomer.
Flint took a quick glance through the room. There were people of all kinds in here. He then looked at the Dunmer who had spoken to him. An assassin, no doubt. Flint didn't like people who killed for money or worse, pleasure.
Should he tell the man his real name, or should he make up one? After all, he did have quite a reputation back in High Rock as the man who maimed his own father. The son of the local mafia boss and more stuff like that. Not to mention he had this huge bounty on his head.
,,Oh, like I care. You only live once, and remembering multiple names can be a pain." The Breton thought.
,,My name's Flint Ironwood. And you are?" He said while looking straight into the Dunmer's eyes.
Esethir grimaced as he was accused of yet more recruiting. He looked around the room in the hope of some appeasement, before sighing and slipping his sword back into the sheath. Well at least they were getting some men on the job, and as the Breton had managed to get in here so late in the day he had some experience as he had previously guessed.
"Right, well that's this meeting over. I will make myself...gone." he said, as a faint glow of light appeared in his right glove. He thn became invisible, except a faint disturbance around the edges when he moved.
"I will spend my night checking on this Lord - check his plan of escape as it were. I bid you good evening." He stated, while the room watched the door to the office seem to both open and close of its own volition.
Rahvin
Rahvin matched the stare and replied. "Rahvin."
Once Esethir left, Rahvin turned back to Deagan. "We'll meet tomorrow to finalize the plan, correct?" he asked, wanting to go to his chambers and get some decent clothes.
Thiras Nirevin, Lost - Again
Thiras dusted off his clothing as he stood up, his eyes peering around, cautiously - his hand on the hilt of his short, silver sword (stolen) that was safely in its sheath.
"Well," he muttered to himself, "Best be off I suppose."
And he started walking - again.
(OOC: This has to lead somewhere - eventually.)
Deagan, Agnar's manor
Deagan stood from the chair and nodded to Rahvin.
"Yes, tomorrow will do nicely...and I suppose that these new recruits can't be too much trouble...though I don't exactly like having such a large team, I guess I'll have to deal with it." Deagan said
Esethir had already slipped out the door and avoided listening to Deagan's complaining about bringing the new people along. Though Deagan usually worked with a small group, he knew that it would be a good idea to have some backup...just in case things didn't go as easily as planned.
"So...where do we stay until we're ready?" Deagan said, looking to Agnar
He looked to the other men now standing in the room with them for a moment and then let out a quiet laugh.
"I need lots of liquor..." He said, only half jokingly
And a bath for the prison rat...
OOC: Hope I didn't miss anyone that might have been talking to me or something...
Agnar
"I told you already; the sevants outside should show you to your quarters."
Rahvin
"Good; everything's settled." Rahvin said, standing up. "I need some clothes, a bath, and a damned good sleep."
Without another word, he left the room to speak with a servant about those things.
OOC: I think you got a glass dagger in your leg, but no nothing major. ![]()
Esethir had merely made himself invisible then for show. He quickly paced until it wore off, then approached a guard. As clever as he may have seemed, he had now idea where the lord was.
"Excuse me sir. I am here from the..meeting with Lord Agnar and wish to know where Lord Jadier is staying tonight." he told the guard, smiling casually.
"Nine of the night's watch and all's well sir. His Lordship is staying two floors beneath us, in the East wing. Enjoy your stay." the guard told him with a friendly smile.
Esethir nodded, then went on his way down the two flights of stairs. It was then that he truly cast a long term invisibility spell and snuck up to Lord Jadier's room. He opened the door a crack and peeped in.
OOC: You might want to get back to the castle sometime Red...
Deagan, Agnar's manor
Deagan followed right behind Rahvin to search for a servant but he couldn't resist adding a quick comment to Rahvin's remark,
"You'd better make that bath a long one...and enjoy your freedom, cause right when Agnar finishes with you you'll be right back in prison again." He said trying to to sound too offensive
Deagan spoke with the servant for a short time about his room, he would soon be in his quarters polishing and sharpening his blade in preparation for what would occur in the following days.
One thing that remained was the question of who would kill the mark. Deagan thought that either he or Esethir should do it but he was sure that everyone else thought that they should be the one to kill him as well, causing the problem.
Rahvin
Rahvin heard the remark, but let it slide. Mostly because the man was right. It didn't matter though; this gave him a break and possibly an escape route. He would, after all, be doing the killing in the wilderness, which gave him a great opportunity...
He followed the servant to his room, where he took that bath while the clothes were delivered to his room. They fit fine, and would be perfect for what he would be doing. There was a pair of dull black leather boots, dark grey pants, and a shirt of the same color.
He left the bath and sat on the floor. He took every single dagger out of their respective sheaths and laid them out on the floor in front of him to be sharpened and poisoned. He sent the servant for the correct alchemical ingredients for the poison as well as a whetstone to do the sharpening.
That Deagan fellow may find a dagger in his back when all this is through. he thought bitterly to himself.
Jadier
Jadier woke up from all of Brianna's tossing and turning. "Is everything okay?" he asked groggily.
OOC: may as well make it hard for Esethir.
Esethir smiled grimly as he watched the doomed lord live out his final day of existance in blissful ignorance. He pushed the door open further and slipped inside, then slammed the door shut.
He slunk ove to the corner of the room to twatch the scene unfold.
Upon seeing the door open, Arygon slid across the room to the corner, activated chameleon and stood there watching the creeping man come closer to the corner he was hiding in. At that moment the sleeping man groaned, this is interesting Arygon though to himself watching with interest what was about to happen. He drew his Longbow and held an arrow ready for any surprises that might come out of this.
OOC: yes, he did get a glass dagger in the leg (it's probably still hanging there)
Ah they were awake... this would be interesting, so the man in the office was Lord Agnar eh? Arygon decided to equalize this situation by interfering with the assassin in the other corner. Removing the Chameleon he dived into his fellow sneak, Sword out front ready for a stab...
Esethir heard it coming. He heard the clothes of the assassin rustle as he was dived upon. That is what kept him alive.
He yelped as he rolled as to face the assassin, then reached out. With the assassin's full wait on top of him he was winded, and could not last long - but he had a firm grip of the assassin's hand which held the blade.
"Help me Lord!" he cried, restraining the assassin as much as he could. He could quite easily incinerate the fool who had attacked him, were it not for his current apparrel. With his gloves on any spell would be contained and would kill him instantly.
Arygon saw the danger in allowing the other man to continue yelling, and besides he could cast illusion spells which meant he could cast others. Using the Chitin shield as a hammer Arygon beat the man over the head until the man slumped over slightly letting go of Arygon's sword arm...
Deagan, Agnar's manor
Deagan entered his room and sat down in the chair beside the bed before taking all of his weapons out of their concealed place, sitting them on the blankets covering the bed.
He took a small rag from a pouch on his hip and wiped down the deep cut on his arm and one on his leg. The cut on his arm was from a bandit that had attacked him from behind on the road to the manor and the other was from the place in which he'd pulled the dagger of a half crazed thief from his leg.
Deagan polished his sword, the edge was sharp and smooth, ready for any fool that dared to attack him again. The man that had thrown the dagger had been lucky to escape before Deagan had had time to retaliate.
Deagan carefully examined the glass dagger, he'd kept it in case he ran into the man that threw it at him, so that he could kill him with it. Revenge always seemed sweeter when something symbolic like that was used to get it.
I can't decide who I dislike more...the guy who stuck his dagger in my leg or the other assassin...at least the assassin seems to have some honor.
He bathed and got some fresh clothes from the servants. The clothes were a dark brown color, almost black but not quite. Deagan wrapped his blade in the thick cloth pouch and strapped it onto his belt before sitting it onto the bed next to his gloves.
Deagan sat there, wondering if tomorrow would bring as many surprises as today had.
For now he would wait, until someone came to retrieve him or until it was time to meet with the others for planning.
Jadier, Agnar's manor
Jadier jumped from the bed onto his feet and barreled into Arygon, knocking him off of the altmer in the room.
Rahvin, Agnar's Manor
Rahvin was working hard just to sharpen his daggers; they were in disrepair from just sitting in a locked chest for months.
When he was finally done, he prepared the poison in a small clay pot. He slowly dipped each blade in the poison, being extremely careful not to accidentally cut himself. If the poison got in a minor cut he would be extremely sick for almost a week; if it was a large wound, then it would likely kill him. He cautiously placed them in their respective sheaths before finally going to sleep. It was a deep, comfortable sleep, seeing as it was in a bed rather than on the cold stone floor of a cell.
(Please correct me if I'm wrong about what Agnar is doing at this time.)
Flint Ironwood, a part of Lord Agnar's palace where he is not supposed to be.
,,Just my luck. I came in after they'd finished. Now I've still got no idea about what we are supposed to do. Oh well, I bet it we're just going to plunder the treasury of another lord." Flint thought.
A smile crossed his lips at that thought. He could use some entertainment, not to mention some extra money was always a good thing. He left the room and asked to be shown were he would be staying for the night. After the servant had left, he slipped on his mask and activated his invisibility spell. It was time to finish his earlier job.
Lord Agnar was sleeping softly in his bed. Flint waited calmly till the man rolled to the side and brought his head away from the pillow. He then quickly pulled away the heavily decorated pillow and replaced it with one he stole from one of the guest bedrooms he passed. The Breton left as quietly as he came.
Back in his own bedroom, he hid the royal pillow and slipped of his gear. He then looked at the pillow he had stolen and compared it with the one on his bed. Should he?
,,No, what if someone comes in during the night. It would mean trouble if I have the wrong bed decor." He said out aloud and laid his head on the cheap pillow to rest. Tomorrow he would seek out that Nord and claim his money for the stolen pillow.
Arygon had just managed to take care of the assassin when the Lord he was trying to save dived on him. The man even without his armour, was heavy enough to crush Arygon to the ground. Arygon, feeling despreate, actvated a Levitation scoll, that had a short use, lifted off the ground dumping the man on top of him down on to the assassin. Then Arygon dived out the window, caught the tree just outside, slid down and ran to just outside the gates to the manor.
Skoll Yggdrasil
Skoll made his way around in Falcreath and managed to repair his armor and got the supplies he needed before he went off into the woods again. He stayed close to the open road as he headed north into the heart of Skyrim...
Esethir grunted as the Lord fell on top of him. H waited, as to not be impolite, untile the Lord had got off of him before he spoke.
"I am sorry milord. I am also staying here overnight. I was returning to my room when I saw that man creeping about. He cast an illusional spell as to make himself invisible, so I followed him into your room. It was as he I was looking for him that he attacked me." he told the lord, knowing that lord had neither seen him enter the room nor come out of his invisible state; so it was not known to the man that he also cast a spell.
He smiled, bowing. "At your pleasure I would care to return to my room." he told the man humbly. "I suggest you try and be out of this castle as soon as possible, I heard talk of such assassination attempts within this Estate - and now I have found the proof."
He started stepping backwards out of the room. "I apologise for any nuance I may have caused." he said again, bowing.
Arygon was waiting just outside the gate, in a small bush, for Lord Jonacin so he could explain what happened. The other assassin probably would be telling some story about how he had stopped Arygon for assassinating Jonacin. Argh, this is going to be difficult arygon thought to himself.
Xuchilbara, Agnar's Manor
Bara had been out of the bath that the servant had drewn for about ten minutes. He lay in his bed thinking about the events that had conspired that night. Bara decided to take a trip to Rahvins' room and have a little chat.
Xuchilbara, Rahvin's Room, Agnar's Manor
Bara rapped on the door for several seconds before the door opened.
"Hey can I come in? Thanks!" Bara said, patting Rahvin on the shoulder and walking in.
"I heard that you were braught out of jail to help the lord with the little prediciment he has gotten himself into. I also heard that he might send you back after you've done what he requested of you. I think I can help."
Bara paused for a second, realizing it probably wasn't a smart move to barge into an assassins bedroom. He could have been a theif too, but Bara thought he looked to professional to be just a thief.
"See, my brother is the Prison Warden in the Imperial City Prison. If you ever get thrown back in there, I think we might be able to work out a deal..."
Bara said, staring at his sword, and checking its balance between his hands, and waited for a respaunce. Bara wasn't that great of a brawler, but was a master swordsman, so as usual, he never leaves without making sure his "buster sword" is with him. It got the name "buster sword" because when he first started training, he would thrash the house, not being used to its balance. With how able he is to swing it around with one hand now though doesn't appear to anyone else that he had such a hard time training with it.
Arygon sitting outside, getting cold, used Beggar's Nose to "feel" where hhe enchantments and people in the house were, someone had just entered anothers room. Using this Arygon realised how many people were in league with the Lord Agnar. There was the assassin just leaving Jadier's room, two together in another room, and at least one more, the one with Arygon's glass dagger, that has a slight enchantment, in a room by himself. Ah, that one will want revenge, well he still had to wait for... Lord Jadier.
Brianna, Jadierīs chambers
Brianna had the strongest feeling of something evil, some threat, when suddenly the man seemed to appear from out of thin air
"invisibility spell", she thought, "or maybe chameleon"
She then witnessed a most strange fight; there were two men materialising themselves, just like that, then attacking each other....one of them cried for the Lord to help him, now was it Lord Jadier or the Lord allmighty he meant? Brianna giggled hysterically and presed herself tight to the corner of the room, behind the curtain.
Then Jadier attacked!
Esethir smiled with glee. If he remembered rightly from his research this was not Lord Jadier's wife - yet she called him love! This was to give them an upper hand.
"Good evening madam, you are looking lovely today. But...you are not Lady Jadier if I recall."
He had noticed her look of disdain.
"Keep your thoughts to yourself and I shall keep this secret with me." he hissed at her, smiling with contempt.
It was then that he took his leave, bowing low once again and sweeping away to his room.
Brianna, with Jadier
Brianna gave Esethir one blazing look, pulling her thich fiery hair back and hissed at him:
"No Iīm not Lady Jadier, but I am as close to that as is possible....so donīt even think of running around blabbing about me being here you scum"
"And as for my thoughts....they are mine...enough of this"
Before Brianna even got to her feet Esethir left......
She sighed, turned to Jadier
"Now what was all that about?"
Telina, Agnars castle.
Telina heard commotion upstairs, thinking on who it might be...then suddenly a terrible thougth came...Jadier and Brianna...she took up her bow and had an arrow ready, then she ran up....
When she came there, though there was nothing special, but she could see traces of earlier fighting.
"Jadier, Brianna, are you ok...what happened"?
Brianna, Jadierīs chambers
"Telina? is that you? Well there was a fight here just a while ago.....I think it was meant to be an assassination-attempt on Jadier....I can still feel the evil here...canīt you feel it ?"
Brianna was actually happy to see Telina, at least she was a friend..you never know these days. The killing of Agnarīs brother really was a stupid thing to do and she was convinced that Jadier was going to have to pay the price for doing it..one of these days
Esethir entered his room, slumping on to the bed. As he got into the fur lined bed he ran his fingers along the nobbles of his staff, pondering what powers lay within. Some day he would release those powers and see his true power - But it would not be soon.
He quickly drifted into a sleep, wondering what to tell the Black horse courier. After the murder he could easily pin it on Lady Jadier, revealing his secret affair and how she was so angry she hired....Khajits to kill him. If it could ruin another life he wasn't happy, but it's a good distraction from the real killers.
Gorrmund rode along on the many roads that lead to his destination. Though he could easily have gotten transportation from back in Falcreath, he preferred riding his horse, as it simply felt more natural to him. Some Nords travelled with magicks, some with sound, but he liked riding through snow and rain, hot and cold.
After a few hours riding his horse at a slow and lazy speed and sometimes at a gallop, he tied his horse up to a tree and made a small campfire, before laying down head against a relatively flat rock. His horse slumped to the ground and fell asleep, but Gorrmund knew not to follow his beasts actions. No one knows whats out there, beyond his little rock and burning fire.
Rerlas->wilderness outside Falcreath
Rerlas got to his shack and picked up some more of his gear out from the worn down cupboard, and headed out into the cold again, "damn deer." he muttered under his breath as he saw two scamper off into the distance.
Rerlas removed his hood and flinched a bit when the sharp cold wind attacked his face, but he can examine his suroundings better. After a few moments he took off in the direction the two deer were going, "heck I might get lucky"
Or dead, you never know whats in these forests Rerlas cursed his pesmistic spursts but trudged into the forests not-the-less
Arygon, was quite tired of waiting, he was never a patient man and that had proved bad from time to time but this was important. Arygon climbed up the tree jumped acroos, grabbed the window sill and looked in just in time to see Brianna and the assassin having a.... discusion.
The assassin was leaving, so Arygon activated his Chameleon and hopped lightly, using silence as well, onto the bed, then slid under it. Soon as he finished Telina entered the room which made him quite nervous, but he shook it off.
A good enough hiding spot he though to himself, as long as that witch doesn't give me away, I had heard of this Brianna she could detect things of evil, so my Claymore from Sheograth was probably a giant beacon to her. Oh well, it could be a little before she would notice, she was more dangerous than Telina since Brianna would be staying in the room.
OOC: He has already died for his crimes with that claymore, just read Arygon's True End.
At the side of the road; main bridge of the imperial city
Juliano waited patiently for his unknown partner for a few minutes as he stood by the water.
He looked into the dark horizon, almost in a trance like state as he thought of ............... ....nothing.
He blinked as he shook out of his trance. He started humming a dunmer folk song of nerevar one of the officers at anvil had sang during a 3 month long blade training session.
"hmm-hmmmmm. haaalaaaa......" Juliano snorted as he cracked a small grin.....
"When is that guar-head getting here?" juliano grumbled as he spontaniously removed his sword from his hilt an practiced a sword stance the ordinators of morrowind had used before.
He swung wildly as he impaled the floor with his blade. And all of a sudden, he was blown into the shallow waters near the bay."eck.... it will dry off.... damn..." Juliano smiled at a passing argonian couple as the smiled and gave a snake like laugh.
Xuchilbara, Rahvin's Room, Agnar's Manor
"Well, if your ever in over your head, no matter where you at, you cast flair into the sky at night and i will be there before the sunrise.
Gorrmund looked at the seemingly friendly Mer, and decided he was probably a simple traveller. "Actually I'm heading there right now. There's about a days more riding and if you're hungry we'll have to hunt, but if you're ok with that I would be honoured if you wanted to travel with me" Gorrmund had been lectured before about always having a travel companion, so this Mer could stop such a conversation from taking place. "Sit down for a minute Dunmer, warm up by the fire and let your beast rest. We'll leave at day break".
Dalrus Varus, Salinc
Dalrus heard commotion in a house nearby and walked over to see what was happening. She walked in to find two dead people and another man in the room looking sad.
"What happened here" she said preparing magicka in her fingertips just in case
Rerlas->wilderness outside Falcreath
Rerlas finnaly caught(sp?) up with the deer, who started to graze. Rerlas Knelt down to get a better shot, but as he pulled back the string he got bashed sidelong and was thrown into a tree.
"What the!?" He shook his head and looked up, finding a huge ogre with a club rushing tward him. "Crap." Rerlas shot a quick arrow into the Ogre's sholder and struggled to his feet, almost slipping on the cold snow. He started to walk backwards and then Shot another arrow. The ogre pulled the two arrows out and threw them onto the ground. Rerlas mumbled a spell and shot a glowing ball at the ogre which then stood fixed in place and Rerlas grabbed onto a nearby tree.
Rerlas felt his side, "well thats good, I don't think anything's broken, its going to hurt for a while yet." Rerlas glanced up at the Ogre whose eyes were red with fury, then he noticed the hends, "Damn, he's already coming through." Rerlas walked over to the Ogre and shot an arrow into his leg and smiled, "Tf I can't run then there is no way i'm going to have you bounding around this damn forest." Rerlas then limped off into some random direction.
Arygon, was half-asleep when he heard, "it's...under...someone...under...bed!" Well then, Arygon slipped across under the bed to the wall, checked his Chameleon, and listened carefully for a creak, that would give away the person getting up. He waited...
Thiras, Near the fire
Thiras froze for a moment, then as silently as possible he hid behind some shrubbery and stared at the figures gathered around the campfire.
"Lucky me . . " he muttered, his hand straying to his sheath where his silver longsword was kept. They were at max 50 feet away. Drawing his sword, he brought his hand to rest on the bush concealing him. Suddenly a small animal jumped out and he fell over backward, the animal scurrying away.
"Ok what was that for?" Arygon asked, hoping to surpise her with a talking shadow or some such thing.
Esethir ran down in his night gown and hat, a small oil lamp guiding his way. He knocked on the door of Lord Jadier's room, worried.
"Is everything alright in there? I heard something from above." he called into the room, a sincerely distressed sound to his voice. Not waiting a moment longer he dashed in, looking around.
He spotted the Lord's Mistress and targeted her with his words. "Is everything alright madam?"
Brianna, Jadierīs chambers
"Shhhh....." she turned towards the door seeing the scum she was talking to before....he was back?
"Jadier! Telina! watch it!"
Brianna dived into the chest beside the bed grabbing her bow and arrows, she aimed at the Esethir, and at the same time at the spot on the wall where the invisible man probably was standing......or was he?
"Donīt move!! any of you!" she said in a loud voice
Esethir frowned. Even when you try and do good you get no reward. People were so ungrateful these days.
"You may be putting me in great danger if you don't let me move ma'am." he told her, looking around warily, and raising an arm slightly in a defensive pose.
Rerlas->wilderness
Rerlas was limping through the forest when he spotted a fire, and four figures sitting around a fire.
Two horses, and to men, or mer. This is going to be embarassing
Rerlas turned his head to a crash and saw the Ogre stumbling though the brush, "Crap, well only a few more yards to go."
Rerlas tested his leg and could move a bit more on it and did a weird combonation of jogging and limping in the direction of the camp.
Edit:just so everyone knows... I'm going tward Gorrmund's place
From the imperial city to a forrest going toward skyrim
Juliano stood from the water an grew very angry and impatient as he marched from the bridge and on the main road to skyrim.
Juliano had traved to anvil and entered a quiet tavern. He kindly asked for a horse to purchase,"I need a horse, might you lend me one?"he said in with a glare; and the tavern owner said "Oh,uhh you arent in any trouble are you?" he said in a semi frightened voice. "well if you are, then just take the grey horse and leave, i want no trouble in my tavern" he said softly.
Juliano did not break his cold character as he headed for the stables and rode off in a healthy grey horse. Juliano had spent alitte more than 12 hours into the moring as he grew closer to the skyrim boarder.
Juliano decided to name the horse the scared tavern owner had given him.He thought of one great, while glancing at the morrning sun, "Apollo, thats what ill name you!"
He had such a smile in his face, untill 2 ebony darts came flying at him with great precision and speed. He caught one and the other one stuck to his right shoulder. Her rolled off apollo as he ran off to the river. Drawing his sword, he prepaired to fight, but the darts were posioned with an effect of sleep. Juliano's vision blurred as 5 bandits surrounded him, with the obvious intent to kill. His breath staggered as he fell asleep; but not before seeing a slender silhouette within the trees, taking aim with a bow.
"Now we have you boy!" one of the bandit snickered as he drew his short sword from his hilt, thus the entire group came in to loot, and proably kill juliano
Arygon stepped out of his own shadow, deactivated cloak "Ha! You dirty assassin I'll kill you this time" Arygon dived pass Brianna before she could move, pulled his Dwemer sword out and stabbed Esethir, jumped back a few paces, pulled out his Bonemeld bow, and pulled an arrow out and tracked, Brianna and Esethir so they couldn't make thier own move. "I know what your blackmailing is Esethir, and I plan to make a profit, so be quiet before you have and extra hole in you." Arygon turned to Brianna "I don't know how you, or Jadier there, plan to pay me but I suggest living to collect, Lord Agnor down the hall has been hiring assassins, and this is one so..." Arygon smiled, this was going so well.
OOC: Buyah! Arygon's going to be happy after all this is over
Galadile, Near Skyrim Border
Galadile stood atop a small hill when his ears caught some commotion going on through the brush. He looked through the bushes and with his exclelent vision saw six blurry figures and a horse. Galadile ran through the forest and took out his bow. He saw a man holding an axe above a sleepy figure. He fired quickly and the man fell. Two more arrows left Galadile's bow in a few seconds and one man fell to never return while the other screamed and limped behind a tree. Two other guys charged at him.
Galadile took out an arrow and stabbed it into the man's eye. Then in one swift motion he took the arrow and pulled it back into his bow. He released it and it hit the other man.
"Du vrangr mara" he said in his tribe's language. The man laying on the ground woke up
Ranes, That dern Camp fire
"Yeah, theres worse things then wovles out there, far worse. Though there is the occaisonal wolf that's dangerous on his own. Like Ondjage, on that Solstheim island near Morrowind," Ranes agreed. "Ogres I don't mind though, they're as intelligent as bricks, makes the ugly buggers easy to beat unless they close in."
Ranes head towards towards the dark brush as he heard something, two somethings crashing through the brush. "Speak of the devils," he muttered. He raised his left hand as a light blue glow shone over his body briefly. Due to the casting of his night-eye spell, Ranes could now see the forest clearly, even if the effect meant he saw the forest in shades of blue.
"Yeah, one Ogre, and a breton running from it," he commented to Gorrmund. "Both look wounded."
Ranes raised his hand and thrust it towards the ogre, fingers spread out as a bolt of lightning shot from his fingertips and struck the wounded Ogre in the face. The Ogre roared in agony and picked up its pace, and Ranes fired another bolt of lightning. This time the Ogre merely slumped forward to the ground.
"And that leaves just the Breton, should I heal him or do you have any healing skill you'd wish to demonstrate?" he asked looking to Gorrmund.
Thiras, Approaching Campfire
Thiras seized the opportunity presented , and darted as silently as possible towards the campfire, his blade drawn as he tried his best to keep concealed until it came time to strike.
Gorrmund, campfire
"Well, we don't know that little devil of a Man, nor do we know what he's done to deserve the beast's wrath. I say we get back to pack and ready ourselves for an attack" Gorrmund stood and took his customer's sword, as he doubted the buyer needed it more than him. He backed up towards his new companion and looked into the trees. Though he lacked night eye, he could see anyone who came near his keen Nordic sight would pick them out from the trees.
Flint Ironwood, in his bedroom.
Flint gritted his teeth in frustration and covered his ears with the pillow. Finally, he hit the bed with a fist and shouted to no one in particular:,, CAN'T YOU PEOPLE BE QUIET???!!!"
He sat up. There was no way he was going to sleep with all the noise downstairs. He got up and walked out of the room in his pyamas. He followed the origin of the noise till he came to a door.
,,You can't even sleep here with these people." He muttered and banged on the door. ,,Be quiet in there! I'm trying to sleep!" He shouted.
(He is banging on the door to Jadier's bedroom. that place is getting a bit crowded now.
)
Jadier's Bedroom
Esethir barely managed to unsheath his sword and block as the man lunged at him, but the weight of the Dwemer weapons saved him. He responded, sweeping the blade parrallel the Dwemer sword before parrying it away. He kept his own sword held loosely in his grasp, prepared from any more attacks fro,m the madman as he was aimed at.
Rerlas->Near Gorrmund's fire
Rerlas watched as one of the men tookout the Ogre, "very nice," he mumbled underneath his breath and slummped down against a tree.
Well, looks like I'm on my own for this one. Now, can I remember how to do this then
Rerlas placed his hands on his hip and started concentrating, and eventually a light blue glow formed around his hip. After he was done Rerlsa worked his way to his feet, testing the leg, "hmmp, much better, I still got it."
Rerlas turned to look at the two, "I thank you, I was just out hunting and got ambused by the beast, I am in your debt." He looked at the two and addressed Gorrmund, "Hey, aren't you that boy that is at Fjordsvier's place half the time?"
Brianna, Jadierīs bedroom
She couldnīt believe it..the two intruders were banging at each other......speechless she watched them, lowering her bow, but still attentive if a random slash would come her way...
OOC: Now this must wake Jadier up unless heīs under affection from a drug or something
Arygon stepped forward and said "all of you move over by the door now!" Then he turned, took the arrow out of the bow and put it back in the quiver. Pulled his Dwemer short sword out, then started searching his pack, "Ah. Here it is." He said to himself, he pulled out a Dwemer Blasting Charge set the timer, pushed Jadier, bed and all, away from the wall with the window and set the Charge there. Stepped back to the door, and stood there with the rest of them. FLASH, a sound like a peal of thunder, and the wall ceased to exist, pieces flew across the room, across the courtyard and scattered around the entire mansion. Arygon lowered the shield he had used to block the 'Lady' Brianna, and uncovered his eyes. The room had a fine dusting of what was left of the wall. "Now, everybody is going to leave with me, if you don't come peacefully I'll kill you, I don't have time to stay. Agnor, down the hall there, had to have heard that and probably won't be very happy with me." Arygon smiled after saying this, yes everything was going exactly as planned.
OOC: If Jadier sleeps through that he has serious problems.
OOC: Narcolepsy is getting more and more common ![]()
Flint Ironwood, in front of the door to Jadier's bedroom
Flint covered his ears again when a massive rumbling like thunder came from behind the door.
,,What in the name of Nocturnal?"He muttered before throwing open the door.
,,I am trying to sleep! So stop the damn.....noise?" Flint ended with a whisper. A huge part of the wall was gone.
He looked at the people who filled the room and managed to get some control over himself back.
,,Hey, next time you guys hold a party, give me a warning. You bunch of pyromaniacs." He said while wishing he had been so clever to at least take his katana with him.
Forest, Near skyrim border
As juliano fell into a deep slumber, the last things he saw was a dark figure advancing towards him and the group of bandits. As he slumbered, he dreamed of someone calling out to him in a shalow pool surrounded by water. He reached and reached for the sky, as it was calling out to him. soon he woke form his deep slumber as he grabed the lappel of a akward looking high elf kneeling over him.
*pants* "you! your one of the bandits arent you!?!?" he said delliriously as he threw the elf off balance and rolled backwards.
juliano had never really fought anyone; not death as the end result at least. He has been up thorugh alot of simulated fights and tests to be a blade apprentice. Juliano had entered a hand to hand combat stance as taught by the house hlaalu as he stood inches away from the elf.
"Come." beconed as he advanced towards him, in almost a dance like procedure
Arygon turned as a new person entered the room, pyromaniac was he? "Your coming with us, or you lose your head, whoever you are." Arygon grimaced after finishing, this wasn't part of the plan. Arygon decided to go along with his plan anyway. "Come on, or I'll leave you here to explain this all to Agnor's assassins." Arygon said as he walked toward the missing wall.
Thiras, Near the fire
Thiras lunged at Gormund as he neared the small group, his blade coming down above the man's head. As he flew through the air he drew a second dagger from his belt, and threw it at Rerlas (who so rudely messed up his plan).
(OOC: Gormund has good reflexes, I hope.
)
Flint Ironwood, Jadier's bedroom.
Flint was not impressed. No one was going to threaten him when he was standing in his pyamas.
,,Now wait a minute, what assassins?" He asked with a very annoyed tone. Then it suddenly dawned on him.
,,Oh crap! I have been hired for an assassination! This is pathetic, I never do those. I knew that the Nordic ale was a bad idea. Mind if I go back to my room and get dressed? It is rather chilly outside." Flint continued and bolted out of the door with a fortify speed spell. This was not the time for sneaking.
Back in his room, Flint geared up as fast as he could. His eyes fell on the stolen pillow. A small smile crossed his face. He ripped open the pillow with his katana and then pinned a small note to the remains.
"Agnar, next time you want an assassin, make sure you hire the right one. Yours sincerely, Flint Ironwood. PS: how do you like the new pillow?"
With that out of the way, he opened the window and climbed outside where he clinged to the wall. Now where did those people in the room with the blasted wall go?
my turn... and I hope Thiras was coming from the side.
Rerlas->Campfire
Rerlas was just about to give a reply when he saw a dagger flying through the air twards him. Rerlas twirled his bow and hit the dagger, sending it into the earth. Rerlas drew an arrow and trained it at Thiras. What did I get myself into this time?
Telina, Jadiers bedroom.
Ok, this fight had lasted long enough...the person wanted them to accompany him...fine Telina would give him a surprise.
She dropped the bow, slowly putting her arms before her, while moving towards Arygon, and sying something like "tie me up"...
The second Arygon touched her, she yelled..."Obscurum Immobilates", and Arygon stood there, the paralyze spell had worked effecitve enough.
"Brianna, help me out with this one", Telina said, while she was tying up Arygon by the best of her efforts..."And you"!, she said pointing at Eshetir..."You stand still, as I do not know who either one of you two are".
With Arygon tied up, Telina aimed her bow towards Eshetir....
OOC: Hope anyone of you dont think that was unfair of me...as I'm quite new to RP's like this.
Brianna, Jadierīs bedroom
"Ok Telina, letīs tie these guys here" She still kept an eye on Esethir though....she really didnīt trust either of then....oh no she didnīt
Goddamn it Jadier, what have you got yourself into? This is bad...really bad
Arygon surpised that she would use a spell like that stood there stunned, but when she started talking about tying him up, she obviously didn't realise that he was Breton and that the spell had no effect. He stepped forward Dwemer Shortsword raised "Don't even try that again." he pushed the lot of them toward the broken wall, turned around and realised that Jadier had slept thorugh all of that. Wow, Arygon thought to himself, he's a heavy sleeper. Arygon walked over to Jadier and poked him a few times, when the person who had entered the door came back in the ruined wall.
OOC: you have to wait for the other person after doing something major to them. Like paralyzing, you don't just continue, you wait for the other person to make a responce
Esethir started bowing, until he heard Brianna. "You are not tying me up madam. I have come down here to help you and have saved your husband once already - I didn't blow up your wall or threaten to kill you - and I have just been attacked. You have NO reason to tie m up." he told her angrily, sheathing his blade and walking over to them.
It was then that the Breton chose to move, causing Esethir to step back, startled. "Of course." he stated, smiling. This could go his way.
Thirlas The Scoundrel
Thirlas charged again at Gorrmund, and slid on the ground in front of him, trying to bring his sword to cut an undefended part.
OOC: I think it was a bit unfair that you resist all spells...but well well, we just have to figure something else.
Telina Jadiers Bedroom.
Telina, had just managed to jump out of the way of Arygons slash, when he menat thta they was to follow him.
"I'm not leaving", Telina said, dropping her weapons on the ground..."if you want me to come with you, you will have to kill me...and would you actually kill an innocent and unarmed girl...then you are no better than the spawnings of Oblivion", she said with a deep resentment in her voice.
She told Eshetir With a low voice that only he could hear..."I'm sorry for being wrong bout you...can you please help us..."
Then she stepped in front of the hole in the wall, lowering her arms, as if to say..."kill me or let us go".
OOC: Good luck with convincing Telina...she have decided that she rather not go out into the chill night...and when she decides on something...the normal way of cinvincing her would be to let her do as she wants...or to kill her...
Esethir, Jadier's Bedroom
Esethir grimaced as the girl dropped her weapons. If that man layed a hand on her he would spring into action - But otherwise the situation was going well for him. There was no need to act if he could get out of it with as little energy used as possible.
But he did feel an urge to help the two women. His morally good side was attempting to push through his profitabley evil side.
Arygon was absolutly tired of trying to save these peoples live. Just sat down on the floor. "You know what I'm tired, I've been saving your lives from this assassin and you just beat me up, then I try to help you by getting you out of here by opening a new 'door' and all I get is a spell in the face. I'm just going to let Agnor kill you." Arygon wandered to the broken wall, pushed Telina out of the way, jumped down and looked up "If you want to live come on." He said "Oh yes, Telina you wanted proof right? Here take a look at this document, I took it from Agnor's Office." Arygon turned and walked toward the gate.
OOC: Arygon's going to quit trying to save you, I think that could convice someone he's not trying to hurt them. And the document could be something like a list of payments for the assassins. Oh yes, if none of this goes right, I'm going in the front door, to the basement, and setting another 3 Dwemer Charges down there.
OOC x 2: Ummm.. ignoring the document are we?
Brianna, Jadierīs bedroom
She sighed.....both these guys said they wanted to save Telina and her....but what from? Then she remembered one of them saying "...let Agnar kill them..." So there was a
plot ? now that was interesting.....
Brianna rose fom the floor, brushing the dust from her trousers...
"Iīm not leaving Jadier, Iīll stay by his side no matter what"
Telina, Jadiers bedroom
"As will I", she said...as a reply of Briannas words.
Telina, did notbelieve the man a second...he claimed the he had saved them from assassin...well, since he had threatned them by death if they did not follow him...she felt that the person standing in the dorway was much more...polite.
Her thoughts was suddenly broken by the man whoclaimed to be their saviour, when he pushed her out of the way..."HEy you", she shouted after him, and gave away a rude hand gesture.
"Stranger", she said to the man in the door. "Who are you and what do you do here...I still dont entierly trust you, but as long as you show no hostility, I will not do anything against you".
OOC: I know you're like almost one of the goodguys, DarkHunter...but Telina do not...I'm afraid...
....she just acted againt the one who had shown most hostility...but that does not mean that you can convience them later that you're good...mkay???
Flint Ironwood, clinging to the wall of Agnar's place.
Flint slowly made his way down to the hole in the wall.
Climbing without any help from ropes or magicka was an art, and something that many peole didn't expect a Breton to do these days.
He could hear what sounded like an argument coming from the room.
,,Fools, don't you realize that every guard outside can hear you?" He thought and cursed himself. really, he should just get out of here. But his stupid pride had been hurt when he found out that he had been hired for an assassination. He would protect these people, even if it was just to ease his conscience.
,,Nocturnal, guide my steps." He whispered with his face against the wall.
He finally made it to the hole and dropped into the room.
,,So, I'm all ready now. Shall we leave? And may I hear the details for once in my life?" He said out loud.
Yes, he has now officially decided that he will join the good guys.
Jadier's bedroom
Esethir smiled, bowing once more. "Thank you for giving me an opportunity miss. I am Esethir...Estafus - I am a noble staying here on governmental business, much like Lord Jadier. I came in here to defend you, that is all. And I was merely threatened. If anything, I should be mistrusting you."
Arygon, Outside
Arygon sat down just out side the gate and waited. Sooner or later they'd realise he was telling the truth. If they could figure that out, Esethir's foot & a half of steel would probably explain it to them. Oh, well.
OOC: Telina had a piece of paper thrown at her along with an explanation, doesn't she notice ANYTHING?
Jadier
Jadier picked up the document that Arygon had given and studied it.
"That one was right." he said. "We're leaving."
But that meant....the altmer in his room was the real assassin!
Rahvin
Rahvin strapped on his daggers and decided to figure out what that enormous explosion was that came from around Jadier's room. Sticking to the shadows, he crept out of his room and towards jadier's.
He didn't go in, he merely put his back against the wall beside the door, listening. That was the altmer's voice.
Either he failed at an early attempt, or he's an agent for Jadier. Rahvin thought to himself. If it was the latter, a dagger could remedy the situation.
Arygon heard the talking inside, and using Beggar's Nose again, he 'felt' that there was someone hiding on the other side of the room door. He ran back scaled the wall, and dived into the room. Arygon ran across the room pushing everyone out of the way and drove his Dwemer Shortsword thorugh the door. "I think I got him." Arygon said to the mystified people in the room. "Oh, yes let me properly introduce myself. I am Arygon, master thief, adventurer and hunter of anything with value. Also Brianna I believe you detected Sheograth's Claymore earlier, so when I next try to rob you I'll leave it at home. Esethir I'll kill you ,if you so much as reach for your sword. Hi, Flint." Arygon finished saying this then pointed the sword at Esethir "You jump out first." Arygon said. Arygon smiled, the plan was back on track.
OOC: Yeah, I'm good.
Brianna, with Jadier
"At last! Ok letīs go now please I wanna get out of here, I donīt know whoīs friendly or not"
She looked from the altmer to the breton......then took Jadierīs arm urging him to leave
"Are you coming too Telina?"
Gorrmund, t3h Fiorz
Gormund walked around to the scoundral's head and put a nice, shiney boot to his neck. "I don't think we should let this monster back out on my people's roads. What is your name, your title, your origin and your reason for attack?" Gorrmund waited for a response from the seeemingly weak bandit.
Rerlas-> 7H3 F1R3 (yeah leet-speak trash..
)
Rerlas walked over to the bandit and looked around at the other two. What the hell am I still doing here? I should've gone after I said thanks, crap.
Thiras
Thiras looked hesitantly from one of the strangers to the other.
Looks like another robbery gone bad.
"I'm-" he hesitated for a second, "Jornas Thirin." Despite being a despicable thief in some people's eyes, Thiras wasn't exactly skilled at telling lies. In fact it generally was obvious when he was or wasn't.
"I'm from - uh Cyrodiil," he didn't lie on that one at least, he was proud to be an Imperial. "I'm, a lord - and I thought that you and your friends here were bandits." He finished lamely.
Deagan, Agnar's estate
Deagan sat forward in the chair and then stood from it after hearing alot of commotion in a room down the hall. In a few seconds he strapped his belt on and stashed his dagger in his boot before slowly opening the doorway, barely enough that he could look out.
Something had caused Jadier to go sooner than planned, he was leaving his room now and they had yet to meet and finalize the plans on the assassination itself.
Guess we'll just have to wing it...
Deagan waited for a moment and slipped out the doorway into the semi-dark hallway, trying his best not to be seen. He backed slowly around the corner in an attempt to conceal himself.
He turned the corner and bumped into something that felt like a person. Deagan turned and put his dagger near the throat of the man in an instant, before withdrawing it and taking a quick breath after noticing who it was.
"Rahvin? What the hell are you doing here?" Deagan whispered, clearly startled
"Nevermind it doesn't matter...what is going on?" He added quickly in the same quiet fashion
(OOC: After reading through 9 pages I realized something was desparately missing from this RP... my first post. Long as always)
EDIT OOC: Post changed to make him closer to gorrmund, his destination
Penne, Somewhere outside Falcreath
Soooooo cooooooold Penne thought, unable to move, clad in a thin green apprentice robe and hood, unable to see passed a blanket of white in front of him. he was a second away from collapsing, and realized he was beginning to feel warmer, a very bad sign. A large silhouette began to approach him, he couldn't tell what it was, and didn't even believe it was really there. When it was a foot away he realized it had been charging. A moment later he was on his back with two massive paws on either shoulder and a hungry muzzle drooling over his face. It gave him a single moment of clarity...
"Thank you, my friend," Penne said to his new bear companion the next morning. (I figure beastcall tranlastes into something much more flexible in roleplaying) His bear companion looked down at him, they were in an icy cave and the bear's body was snuggled around Penne to keep him warm that night. On that note, the bear stretched himself and stood up, circling the cave. Penne began to dig through robes looking for anything he could use for food. There was nothing, the land was bare and empty, and it was far too cold outside to go looking for food.
Penne was picking through his collection of exotic flower petals looking for one he could use to make a warmth potion when his new bear friend made a growl, his head jerked to the North.
Poachers... Penne instantly understood. His bear already began backing up deeper within the cave.
"No, friend. There is no use running away forever. They took your home, your family, everything you held dear and they will continue to track you until you starve, you are a great prize to them. They have intimidated you to the point where you don't even know how strong you really are," Penne told his bear, who understand, and stopped. "Find yourself a good position to ambush, I will attempt to talk them away."
Penne walked out of the cave, and the cold hit him. He had forgotten how cold it was outside.
"Bosmer?!" yelled an Orc poacher in desbelief as the band of five approached. "What are you doing in Skyrim?"
"I fell from the sky, now tell me why do you trespass my territory?"
"Pfft! You have no territory wood-elf!" an imperial with a glass dagger, seemingly the leader, remarked. "We know there's a bear in that cave, we've tracked him for eight days, we know he's there, now get out of the way."
"You'd be surprised how deceptive a bear on the run can be. There are no bears here, they keep very far away from me, they are more perceptive of my abilities than ignorant poachers," Penne said, his hand secretely grabbing hold of some powder in his pocket.
"Oh please, you're shivering like an electrocuted imp!" the imperial with the glass dagger yelled. "Kick his boat!"
The five poachers engaged, drawing their weapons. Penne thrust his pocketed hand forward scattering the power all over them. They stumbled forward in the snow tripping all over themselves.
"I can't see!" one of them screamed.
"Now!" Penne yelled, but his friend was two steps ahead of him, diving for the first poacher he saw. When the blindness on the poachers had faded they saw two of their men were on the ground bleeding. A fight ensued between the bear and other three, but whenever the bear got stabbed or hit too hard a blue blast shot out of Penne's hand which healed the wound.
"Get the wood-elf!" the imperial screamed struggling while the bear batted his paws against his shield. The orc ran over and tackled Penne to the ground.
"Augh!" the orc screamed as he lay frozen on the ground with a stab wound his in stomach. Penne rolled out from underneath him and quickly hit the Orc with a convalesence spell before moving on to reheal his bear.
Realizing he was the only one left, the Imperial began to flee. The bear was charging after him but Penne ordered him to stay back. Penne quickly kneeled by each of the three unconscious and cast a quick spell of convalesence on each.
"They'll survive, but we have to bring them all back to the cave and build a fire," Penne said. The bear looked at him confused.
"Very well, I know I can't ask you to do this, these men committed horrible atrocities. May I ask you this, I will reap their food from them and give it to you, and in turn you will wander back to your home and start your new life, and seek no revenge."
Hours passed. When the four poachers awoke (with very little strength) they found all their food had vanished, and they were all missing certain articles of clothing, boots, fur pants, a fur jacket, a fur hood and gloves. (no armor except boots)
Penne wandered through the snow, now with food in his stomache and warm clothing. His destination was merely a feeling, which was everything he had left right now. Well, almost everything.
Flint Ironwood, Jadier's chambers to palace courtyard.
Flint grinned.
,,So, we're leaving. Alright, I'll cause a small distraction for the guards. We'll meet in the woods or something. Don't worry about finding me, I'll find you." He said and slipped on his mask before jumping out through the hole in the wall. He activated a slowfall spell at the last moment and rolled over the ground. When he rose, his katana was in his hands.
The first guard that came along found a boot coming out of the shadows and into his chest. The guard fell over with a surprised shout. Flint smiled and casually waved his sword in the direction of one of the approaching guards. A blast of Telekinetic force flew out of his sword and made the guard go flying.
Soon enough, half the garrison was outside, shouting and poking at the air in the hopes of finding the invisible intruder. Flint managed to control his laughter. He was simply hiding in the shadows near the wall and sending Telekinetic blasts into the pack of panicking guards. This was fun. He took a quick glance at the hole in the wall upstairs. They'd better leave soon, his katana would run out of charges sometime.
"No need to apologise, I would trust me either." Arygon said then led the bunch of them out of the wall, down the tree next to it, and to the gates, where he paused, "3, 2, 1, now!" He swung out with a paralyzing dagger right into a guard's face as he came around the corner. He continued leading them until he came to a crossroad. "Your choice Jadier" Said Arygon, it didn't really matter to him.
OOC: Dantrag... were not using the door, the wall to out side is kinda missing...
Flint Ironwood, in the courtyard with half of Agnar's guards.
Flint was still having fun with the guards when his sword expended its last charge.
,,Crap, they need more time. Oh, I am so going to regret this." He muttered before throwing a small fireball that was actually meant for lighting torches instead of battle. In doing this, he also gave away his position.
,,Over here. Come on, you bunch of drunken, ice-nosed, rockbrained, beardy Nords!" He shouted while waving his hands as he moved into plain view. He then turned around and broke into a sprint with all the guards giving chase.
,,I should have just stayed in my bed." He spoke to himself and kept running with the pack of screaming Nords on his tail.
,,If those people haven't escaped yet, Agnar can have them. Time to scram!" Flint shouted the third time he passed the main gate while running circles around the courtyard. He then casted a speed spell and a spell that increased the power in his legs. In one giant leap, Flint got himself up to the tip of the highest tower. After looking around to see where the pyromaniacs where, he leaped off in the opposite direction and landed in a nearby lake.
,,I hate water. Those people better pay me when this is over." He said between countless less polite words as he swam to shore. Once back on dry land, he slipped between the shadows of the trees and rushed in the direction that he'd seen the people he was protecting go.
Yes, he can jump really good. Think Tarhiel, only with a safe landing.
Arygon sat there, waiting as patiently as he could, for Jadier to make a decision. Patiently, wasn't very patiently at all, he was pacing, swearing and every now and then stabbing his sword into a tree, left it there. Took out his bow, fired arrows in the general dircetion of the Manor. Just then Flint showed up, "Whats going on what took you so long?" Flint asked a little angrily. "We left quite a while ago, but Jadier's taking forever to decided which way to go" Arygon replied. Arygon turned from Flint walking toward the tree he smiled, little did Jadier know both paths went by his hideout, that was quite full of Dwemer Artifacts, such as one of the Ballista's that he had almost restored to working order.
Ah, well, it'd be a while yet...
OOC: Huh? We didn't skip much at all, you planned to kill him out of the manour anyway, plus I'm probably going to end up killing him.
OOC: So we've got some uber god thief leading the people out - and they are already out in teh wilderness while the assassins are still in the manor? You've skipped too much mate.
Arygon alerted by the witch, Brianna, turned toward the forest and watched the treeline, probably some normal ol' bandits anyway Arygon though as he drew his blade and stalked into the trees.
Flint Ironwood, at the corssroads with Arygon and company.
Flint frowned. Now they had someone who could feel evil? Well in that case, he was seriously surprised she hadn't gone nuts. Or maybe she had. He wasn't exactly a saint, and he was sure that he wasn't the only one.
Still, Flint took out his katana again and checked its charge. Two, maybe three blasts was all he would get. Flint muttered a few curses under his breath and drew his Glass dagger that could make people go to sleep with his other hand.
,,Come on out, where ever you are." He whispered and crouched down in a nearby shadow so that he could scan the area without being seen himself.
,,Why do I've got the idea that this is going wrong?" He thought to himself.
Jadier, Crossroads
Jadier didn't want to choose either way at this road; he didn't trust this Arygon, despite the fact that he wasn't the assassin. This could just as easily be another cover. And why had he been in his room in the first place? This was getting too confusing.
He pulled Brianna off to the side and whispered in her ear so that none of the others could hear.
"I don't trust these fellows. Any chance that you, Telina and I could get some invisibility to get away?"
Telina, Crossroads.
Telina had not tried to eaves drop...but well two of her best friends was there, so she had followed them where they stood, a little away from the other one's...
She heard Jadier mention something about Invisibility spells, so Telina quickly rummaged her sack, and there it was...three bottles of it.
She walked over to Jadier, and Brianna.
"Brianna, I sense it s well, one or more of those men wants us no good...so here this is an ivisibility potion, one for each of us....but it will only last for two minutes, so Jadier give us the command when we are going to use them...and lead the way...both me and Brianna can sense you so we'll have no trouble of getting lost".
OOC: I'm going to bed, so if you decide to run for it before I can come back, please danny just controll Telina to tag along...M'kay...g'night...
Jadier, Crossroads
"Alright." he whispered to both Telina and Brianna. "Take the potions and turn around, back towards the palace, and continue on the road until it turns south and we can head back to Falcreath."
He took a potion. "One...two...three." he said as he gulped the potion down with the others.
They headed down the road, unseen.
OOC: I took some liberties w/ minque's char as well. If it's a problem, minque, I'll edit. I just figured you'd want her to tag along.
Rahvin, Jadier's Manor
Rahvin looked at Deagan angrily. "I told you to keep your altmer servant under control and you didn't. Now he's blown the whole thing. Jadier left with his mistress and some other lady, and now we have to chase them down rather than waiting in ambush."
"Now let's get everyone and go."
Galadile, Woods Near Skyrim
Galadile looked at the young person before him. He seemed to be skilled yet humans were so much more clumsy than the nimble elves, and being a wood elf/half elf he was even more poised. Galadile put his bow on his back and talked to the man
"I am Galadile of Valenwood who are you?"
Deagan, Agnar's manor
It was clear that Rahvin was angry about something and it quickly became clear what it was...Esethir had done something to cause Jadier to leave early. Probably tried to do the assassination on his own, Deagan seriously doubted that he was an informant since he'd known him for so long.
Deagan didn't know all the details about how Esethir had blown their operation but he did not question Rahvin's knowledge, it was clear that Rahvin knew more than he did. He looked around the corner and Jadier had already left the manor.
"Damn...we'll have to be quick about getting the others...our mark has already left..." Deagan said
Deagan turned the corner and began walking the hallway before stopping...
Hmmmm...where are the others anyways?
He would wait for Rahvin to assist him in alerting the other assassins.
OOC: Ok Danny, find some way to get all of us together now.
Rahvin, Agnar's Manor
"We don't have time to get them all until we know where the target's headed." he answered. "Say, can you set a mark spell?"
If Deagan could set a mark, then they could go after Jadier alone, and when they located him, come back to the manor to get the others...
Rahvin sighed; and here he had been hoping for a good night's sleep and possibly even a woman to share it with.
"Well?" he asked impatiently.
Deagan, Agnar's house of cheese
OOC: Lol got tired of putting the same thing...
"I'm an assassin, not a mage..." Deagan said sarcastically
"But I have something that might help." Deagan added in a more serious tone
Deagan dug through his pack for a moment and removed a small blue vial filled with some dark liquid. Luckily he always carried a couple of doses of this magic in a bottle.
"I carry mark and recall potions for times like this...never was good at all that magical stuff." Deagan said
He tilted back his head and took a quick drink from the potion before handing the rest to Rahvin. Things would work out well enough, they would return shortly after they stalked Jadier to retrieve the others.
"This must be a hell of a time compared to your day in prison huh?" Deagan asked with a quick laugh before turning toward the door.
"We'd better hurry." He said quickly
Maybe this Rahvin guy isn't so bad, he seems unprofessional...but then again I'm sure some would think the same about me...
Rahvin, Agnar's Manor
Rahvin didn't answer Deagan's remark about prison; he merely flashed him a warning look. Rahvin gulped the potion before making his way down the hall.
"Well, that's what the explosion was." he said flatly when he got into Jadier's room, noting the giant hole in the wall.
OOC: is Esethir around this area still?
Aaron Christophe
Somewhere...
Aaron faintly realized he was breathing in cold, acrid tasting dirt, and to his suprise he was laying face down on the middle of a path. He tried to stir himself, but his muscles were un-responsive. Besides that he had no feeling in his feet, and thoughts of his flight had simply motivated him to stay there on that position, even if it were so cold.
If fact it was so cold that he felt sleep slowly overcome him, it was however not a bad feeling, but something told him to resist it.. something..
Soon Aaron was fast asleep in the growing snow upon the path as Hypothermia was setting in.
(OOC: I intended to enter my character where Red's was but my computer messed up and I couldn't post anything so if someone will find me.. and save me (remeber meh bio) I would be happy.)
Penne, pretty far off from Falcreath
Penne's stomach was making noises again. How he longed for the lush forests of Valenwood where whenever he felt for a snack he could walk no more than twenty feet and find a nice black berry bush or a similar food item. He had long since parted with his bear, and the once freezing Penne clothed only hin his light green Sage Apprentice robes was now dressed from head to toe in fur. He managed to find a place for what he had left of his collection of blinding dust, and for his healing potions. If only he could find himself a mortar and pedestal and he was sure he'd be able to brew up a potion of warmth out of some of the stuff in his collection.
Across his back he carried a wooden bow and a quiver full of wooden arrows. He carried a lot of poisons with him, too, in assorted places. None of his poison was particularly deadly or painful, but more ore less escapist stuff like his blinding powder, which if mixed with water and drank would cause blindness for an hour, though that was useless, so the powder was one of the few concoctions he left in dry form.
Night was harsh, hardly doable even in his thick fur. It would take a lot of getting used to, especially from a Valenwood chum who was used to thin robes or simple cloth capris if anything.
He felt his foot hit something other than snow. Looking down he saw the figure of a man buried in snow. Slightly panicking Penne began shoveling through as fast as he couldm finally grabbing hold of some leather clothing. He quickly grabbed the man by each shoulder and pulled him out of the snow.
"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear," Penne starting to pant as he pulled the man up to his lap and felt for a pulse. "Slow, too slow, he said instinctely releasing the heaviest convalesence spell he knew, which worked. Strangely enough, ever since he happened upon that amulet all his magic spells worked almost every time.
Penne also cast a quick detect creature spell to be sure the imperial had no companions near by. He was fortunate there was no one else, but also hoped he'd be able to sense a bear or wolf in the area he could use to help.
He laid the imperial on his back in the ditch where he was pulled from and moved on the start building a moun of snow to block the wind, occasionally casting a quick convalesence spell on the imperial to keep his pulse above nothing. As he worked, he also began to mutter to himself.
"To the divine mother and all her children hear me now I ask you humbly to save this man. To the divine mother and all her children..."
When the mound was complete Penne dumped all his wooden arrows on the ground and fixed them up in a little pile, then went on to make a fire. He breathed a sigh of relief, even if he had the right ingrediants to make a potion of warmth he would need a mortar and pedestal to mix them together. He could do nothing more now. As he thought that, he drifted off the sleep in front of the fire, laying his back again the mound he built.
OOC: Ok Konrad, we're dragging your guy along for now, if this conflicts PM me and I'll edit.
Deagan, Jadier's room
Deagan followed closely behind Rahvin, he hated being a follower but in this case he would rather be in the rear. He'd seen that both of Jadier's companions had bows.
As he walked into Jadier's room he noticed the hole in the wall, as well as Esethir standing aimlessly to the side. Deagan grabbed his arm quickly and half dragged him along.
"Come on mate, lets go...something caused Jadier to leave prematurely...the old plans are done...we have to follow them." He said in a dull voice, knowing that Esethir had some involvement in Jadier's decision
He turned to Rahvin,
"We have to catch up to them quickly...we can't risk losing them...I need this contract." Deagan said
Deagan turned to leave the room and go outside in search of their target. He looked out the hole in the wall and dropped down to the ground before looking back up at Rahvin.
"Coming?" He asked as he left, Esethir followed closely behind.
OOC2: Hope that wasn't like a two story window or something.
Rahvin, Outisde Agnar's Manor
You need this contract? You aren't the one threatened with life in a penal colony. he thought bitterly.
He was getting rather tired of Deagan's commentary, but he did have to work with him on this.
"I'm coming." he answered, stepping out into the snowy cold. "There aren't any tracks to follow." he lamented. There was so much snow falling that whatever tracks were there minutes ago had now disappeared.
"Which way?"
Penne, camp
Penne awoke to a sun approaching some height in the sky. He figured it was tennish, considering where the sun was. Still, he didn't know where he was relative to Valenwood so it could be anywhere from 8 to twelve. Who knew what the sun did in the North?
Yawning, he sat up, ruffling snow from his body. That would have been a miserable, sleepless night if building the the camp didn't take him to the brink of passing out.
As he gethered himself up he checked the pulse of the Imperial. As his fingers reached down to the neck, he felt the neck muscles tense in reaction.
"You're awake," said the bosmer, looking down. "Can you stand? I'm afraid I have no food but if you're any good with that bow there is some strange sort of boar like beast due West of here strutting around."
Flint Ironwood, crossroads
Flint was busy with looking out for trouble when he heard some leaves rustle nearby.
,,What in Nocturnal?" He thought and looked for the source of the sound.
There it was, a bush was moving, but not through the wind and he couldn't see anyone.
,,Oh, crap." He muttered when he realized what was going on. Those fools were running headlong into danger. Nobles, they were all the same. Couldn't even appreciate some help.
,,Hey, come back here! Come back you stupid....HATSHJIE!" Flint sneezed loudly.
,,Damn, now I've got a cold. I knew jumping in the lake was a bad idea." Flint muttered between various curses and focussed on a healing spell. When he felt better, the lord and his two women had already gone too far to track.
,,Yeah, go ahead! Leave me behind! Go and be a good boy who runs straight into the arms of those assassins! See if I care!" Flint shouted through the forset and then sat down near a tree where he pulled out a small bottle.
,,Want something to drink?" He said to Arygon.
Telina, road.
Telina was running as good as she could...and after some twenty sconds or so the two other people they were running from was out of sight...
She could hear one of them hshout for them to come back...but they did not care, all that mattered for Telina was to find herself in Gorrmunds arms again.
As they were running, Telina felt the tenseness of Brianna...she was worried of something, Telina just wished she knew what.
OOC: 200post limit. time for a closing.
