Alright, get posting.
Just want to inform that I'm going to bed now, so minque, you can control Telina for me. gnigth all
EDIT: No carlos, Telina dont have a mother, her mother died, before Telina had gotten six months.
Rahvin
Rahvin had been about to tell Flint about the key to life, but a voice emerged in his (impaired) brain.
"I don't know!" he screamed over and over, attracting the attention of everyone in the common room.
Sasal
Sasal had watched as Telina stepped from the room. Sasal had put on his shoes and walked to Telina's room. Scratching his bare, yet well build chest, he walked into the room and had found Telina and Brianna sleeping. "well that was pretty sudden!" he said softly as he smoothed his right index finger across the large scar on his mouth . He walked to Brianna and patted her head slightly as she slept poor girl, she must have a kwama-hive worth of problems in her life he though as his thoughts went to Telina
I wonder if she has a mother... he pondered as he vaugely recalled a woman who looked an awful lot like her
(ooc: ah... ok, just makin sure
)
Brianna
"I donīt know...I donīt know" The screams filled her head and made her whine in pain...
She sat up drenched in cold sweat, heavily panting. Then she suddenly felt the baby...faint kicks against her stomach wall........
Brianna laid down again....smiling
Flint Ironwood, with Rahvin.
Flint was surprised by Rahvin's shouting.
,,Well, too bad for you. Well, let me explain what I exactly mean. It all happened a couple of years ago when I met.....Never mind." He added when he noticed that Rahvin wasn't talking about the same subject as he was.
Sasal
Turning his head to Brianna, sasal looked at her as she kicked and turned in bed.
"I was troubled when i was young"he said silently as he took a seat on the floor, leaning on the bed.
Sasal had wiped a towel across Brianna's head as she started to sweat. I wonder if she's sick or something, because i dont think that is a symptom of child birth he lighty joked as he softly sang an ashlander hymn
Cerpin
Cerpin gave the man a long stare before replying.
"Cerpin Taxt." he finally answered, shaking the man's hand. "Now to the unasked question between us: what the hell are you?"
MAZE
Maze stared at the far distance at how his companion and the breton started a conversation... Maze kept his puppet at bay... he used his ears to listen at the disscusion that was at play from far away...
OOC: Wow... that last part was kinda... weird... by the way he is listening through the dead guard...
Sasal
Sasal had begun to sing softly
"What a wondrous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together
From first kiss to last breath,
First and last whispered in love."
(ooc: i got that from the book ashlader hymns in morrowind)
Sasal soo recited a poem from an ashalder tribe,
"May I shrink to dust
In your cold, wild Wastes,
And may my tongue speak
Its last hymn to your winds.
I pray for the herder
That whistles to his guar at play.
I pray for the hunter
That stalks the white walkers.
I pray for the wise one
That seeks under the hill,
And the wife who wishes
For one last touch of her dead child's hand.
I will not pray for that which I've lost
When my heart springs forth
From your soil, like a seed,
And blossoms anew beneath tomorrow's sun."
(ooc:that was from the words of the wind book in morrowind)
Arygon looked at the old man, after following him along, "What is your name anyway?" Arygon asked his hand impatiently tapping on the tankard. Arygon raised his machine hand raised and touched Brianna, Arygon realised that he probably shouldn't have as seeing that hand usually had a bad effect on how poeple felt about him...
Brianna
Brianna smiled in her sleep......that hymn! She recognised it, her mother used to sing it for her when she should go to sleep when she was a little girl. Her mother had lived among the ashlanders in her youth......with the Ahemmusa Tribe..So she knew a lot of things about those people.......
"Mother!....."
"Shh.... its Sasal Valor" He smiled as his eyes closed "have a seat on a chair or something.." he wispered as he started to dose off
Sensing that Brianna had uttered a few words, it hadnt bothered him as he began dreaming about playing in his old family planation outside of mournhold "heh... kick the guar"
Arygon watched the man, the hymn was Ashlander. The man... Sasal... seem to be dozing off so Arygon, once again forgetting, poked him with his machine-hand. "You might not want for her to wake up with you next to her... I'd know.."
Flint Ironwood, bedtime.
Flint finished his drinks. He took a last look at Rahvin. He then called over one of the waitresses.
,,Right, here's the money for the Flin, here's a bit for you and this here is to get my friend into a decent bed and to hire someone to watch over him. He's a bit lost at the moment. And while we're at it, can I get a room for the night?"
After finishing his stuff, he walked upstairs and entered his room. He locked the door behind him with a lock spell and dropped onto the bed without even taking off his clothes, or the armour underneath. He dozed of within moments.
(Note, Rahvin can always refuse the help Flint has just hired. It would make for a funny scene.
And with that, I sail of to bed myself.)
Cerpin
Cerpin decided to let his guard down; finding out more about this man was worth the risk of his plans failing.
"I'm looking for a young Nord, and his travelling companions. One is a half-dunmer in early pregnancy. Perhaps you've seen them?"
Whilst waking up, sasal hadnt open up his eyes. "Good point" he said as he said to Arygon "Today's been a long day... why dont you meditate? or atleast take a nap or something, you can use my room, just dont mind my armor and bag on the floor" he said as he took a deep breath as he Dreamt.
MAZE
Maze listened carefuly... "So... another might join the alliance..." Maze said whispering... he then snaped his fingers and ordered his puppet to go in the inn where the moron he had fought with earlier was last seen... his puppet obeyed... the dead guard went inside the bar and sat on a table to the corner of the room... there he stayed and will remain until the old fool comes out of the inn...
OOC:Everyone going to sleep!!!!???? Dang I thought we just got past night time...
Deagan, Inn
As everyone shuffled past Deagan he stood still at the end of the hallway, none of them had noticed him there listening in on their conversation. Deagan walked downstairs and positioned himself right across from the door as he started to drink again.
Everyone around him seemed tired and several of them had already drifted to sleep. With all the things that had happened today Deagan couldn't believe that any of them could sleep and he had more trouble believing that they were still at the Inn. It would've been wise to relocate right after the fight but for some reason, they had not moved from their position.
He stood after some time and stepped outside to watch for anyone, he propped his back to the wall next to the door as a foul smelling man brushed past him and went inside, nothing seemed suspicious about him so Deagan let him go freely.
Sasal
Apon drooping his head, he smelt a unsusaly stinky smell.... a smell that sasal was once familiar to.... blood and rotting fleash.....still sleeping, he drew a dart from his boots as he rested
Cerpin
"You do it my way." he answered bluntly. "Assassinations have become somewhat of an art for me; I like to get to know my targets, act as their friend for a time, get to know their strengths, their weaknesses, and then when they least expect it, I make my move."
Arygon's machine hand came down to the back of Sasal's neck "Put away that dart... else I might think you're up to something." Leaning that close Arygon could smell blood, "By my life, if you hurt her I'll kill you" Arygon reached past Sasal with his human hand and pulled the blankets down some, Brianna was still brething which meant that if she was hurt, it wasn't badly.
"uhhh..... dont worry, i havent any intentions of hurting her" Sasal said as his head was drooping in semi-sleep
"It just somewhat surprised me when i smelled blood and rotting flesh so potently"
*sasal yawns*"Ah... well wake me up if you have anything else important to say Arygon" He said as he put the darts into his shoes
(ooc: im gonna be out for a few hrs... celebrating my graduation from H.S)
Ranes, back in the Inn
Ranes slammed his fist out the table angrily. The murderous honoured user had gotten away! And killed more just to add insult to injury! He sighed, and took a swig from his tankard of mead. There wasn't anything he could do, for now, he should let it go for now. If he saw that monster again however, he'd let him have it. The guards were collecting and identifying the dead now, cleaning up the mess. This would be the talk of the town for weeks.
Ranes sighed, it was dark out now, he should get some rest. He too one last swig from the tankard and retired upstairs to his room.
Flint Ironwood, having some serious fun in his room.
There was a baby, and in front of the child stood...the thing that had murdered a few guards earlier this day. One part of Flint told him to run while the other part told him to take out his sword and put the sharp end inside the thing.
But there was a third part, much stronger than the others. This one kept him from moving so he stood there like a statue.
Flint watched in horror how the thing slowly squeezed the life out of the child. It then turned to Flint and released a shadow that slowly enveloped the frightened Breton. The dark shadow began to choke him.
,,Just great. Can't I even have some peace in my dreams?" The Breton angrily muttered, fully awake now. He leaned over the bed and emptied his stomach on the cold floor.
,,Right, this isn't going to help. What the heck was that baby doing in my dream anyway?"
Flint went downstairs and sat at a table not too close from a man with a very bad smell.
,,Ew, and then people always complained that I should wash myself more often." He thought as his hand went up to order a Flin. He froze in shock. He knew that man, he was one of the guards that had been killed today! But that wasn't possible, right? Unless.....
Flint really didn't like the thought of this. He stood up again, threw his hands up in the air and ran back up the stairs while screaming his lungs out. ,,ZOMBIE!!!"
At the top of the stairs, he turned around and smacked a fireball in the zombie's face.
,,Um right, I wasn't really afraid. I was just surprised, that's all. I guess I'll deal with this thing. It's not like I've got anything better to do." He muttered as he walked down again and took out his katana.
(The dream? I don't know. Call it Psychic Breton sense or maybe Brianna's worries about her child are mixing with Flint's recent experience with Maze. And sorry about the zombie, but someone had to recognize him.)
Hecate
Hecate, now walking the in the empty alleyways of Lainlalten as a young Dunmer took pleasure knowing he would be able to change his apperance the amulet he'd gotten. Taking off his dark hood he went into the open streets for Lainlalten, moved for the inn.
I can get deep, under the skin of this group now and hopefully with Deagan's help the half-breed will soon be before me... with my dagger in her throat with those thoughts, Hecate released a wicked grin as he closed on the inn.
MAZE
Maze laughed uncontrolably... he laughed how someone just hurled a fireball at his puppet... "this should be fun" he said in a cold dark tone... he moved his hands in the same bizzare fassion... and miles away in th inn his puppet reacted... the dead guard rised up from the floor with his face stil burning from the fireball that was thrown in his face ... he then screamed/growled "You all will all learn to fear my master!" ... everyone in the tavern stared at him in confusion... he then drew his blade and drank a increase strength potion he had aquired earlier as well as a increase speed... the dead guard then thrusted his blade at an innocent by stander who was drinking his flin... after killing him he went straight for the man who had cast a fireball at him earlier...
3 miles away... in the darkness of the night... Maze laughed his cruel laughter... and then he smiled while jumping down from the roof he had been standing on all day... he slowly made his way through the streets and into a enchanter's store...
OOC: I wont be here for a while... I might be able to come later tonight... so later...
Flint Ironwood, the inn.
,,Oh, great. Who in the name of Nocturnal decided to give potions to a zombie?!" Flint shouted and jumped on a table. He tried to slash at the zombie for a couple of times but soon realized the futility of his attempt. With the potions, the zombie was almost as fast as he was, not to mention much stronger. And even if he did hit, it didn't bother the thing. After all, it was already death.
,,Ok, time for plan B." The Breton muttered while he jumped behind the bar and pulled out a few bottles of Flin.
,,Such a waste. Well, here goes." He threw the bottles at the zombie, drenching it and quite a large part of the room in the delicious, and flammable, Flin. One fireball later, and half the room was ablaze, with the zombie still trying to get him.
,,Oh, damn. Umm...FIRE!!! FIRE!!! GET OUT OF HERE!" Flint shouted as he ran upstairs and threw open all the doors he passed. Those that were locked proved to be unable to resist the might of his katana slicing through the lock. All this time, the zombie was still pursuing.
Once he reached the end of the corridor, Flint jumped through the window and landed in the snow outside.
(There, Flint pretty much singlehandedly destroyed the whole building.
Get out, everyone. As for what happened to the zombie, that's Maze's decision.)
Arygon heard screaming then saw Flint run by and dive out the window. Arygon looked out into the hall to see a zombie guard, "Hey, Sasal! Pick up Brianna and get out of here!" Arygon yelled as he stepped into the hall way. Not waiting for Sasal to comply Arygon dived forward onto the guard and drove his machine hand into the guards face ... once.. twice ... and a third time. The once guards face was entirely inside his head but the body was still satggering forward so Arygon drew his dagger and hacked off the montrosities legs, leaving it crawling forward by it's arms...
OOC: Not Maze's discion any more...
Deagan, Inn
Deagan opened the door and watched as Flint fought the man who had just passed through the door only moments before.
Well I'll be damned...I thought something was strange about that guy...a zombie...
He continued to watch from a distance with some amusement as the fight continued. It was all pretty entertaining until Flint sat the room ablaze with a few bottles of flin and a fireball spell.
"You fool!" Deagan yelled as he looked around at the burning building, he was much more serious now than before
Knowing that he had to do something, he ran up the stairs and went down the hall pounding on every door and the walls in between.
"Everyone get outside! Get up! Everyone outside!" He yelled repeatedly
He opened doors and yelled at the occupants to leave their rooms as quickly as he could before running back outside as the fire spread through the lower level, there wasn't much more time for everyone to escape. He watched carefully, hoping everyone would make it out but decided not to go back inside...the others weren't his problem.
OOC: Well thats one way to get us to leave the inn.
Hecate
Hecate came around the corner, too see the entire inn engulfed in flames.
What the...? he thought as his sinister smile closed and his hand made it's way for his dagger. He made a quick decision. He took off against the well which wasn't too far away. Hecate came running back with two buckets in each hand, nearly like the training he'd done when he was young. He kicked open the door before unleashing nearly a small wave of water over the flames, trying to stop the fire from spreading.
Flint Ironwood, outside looking at what he's done. (naugthy Flint!
)
Flint turned around and saw how the fire spread.
,,Oh, this is just great. I'll never be able to pay for the damage! If only my ice spells weren't even crappier than my fireballs!"
With no other ideas on his mind, Flint put all of his Magicka in several Telekinesis spells and began to hurl a whole street worth of snow on top of the building. It didn't seem to do much else but slow down the fire a little.
Flint saw how someone ran to the inn with two buckets that were clearly filled with water.
,,Right, this is the result of my own stupidity. I'm going in!" He shouted as he dove amidst the flames, looking for survivors."
(oops
)
Brianna, coughing from the smoke
Brianna woke up, smoke whirled in the room
"The Inn is on fire!....Rahvin? Telina? Where are they?"
There was no time to run and search for them.....she tried a telepathic beam instead
"Rahvin, Telina, GET OUT OF HERE!"
She noticed that man called Sasal....he was there and....was it Arygon? At least she heard his voice.
She hesitated for a moment to remember a frost-spell her mother taught her
"Varde kallt.....Flammor, dra er tillbaka"
Sasal made an effort to help her and she was grateful, the baby did not fancy the rapidly increasing heat
Briannaīs frostspell made an icy cloud....she yelled at Sasal to come along and they exited the room engulfed in the cloud, only to find the stairs totally in flames!!!
OOC: Now what???
Flint Ironwood, to the rescue!
Flint made his way through the inn, coughing to get the ash out of his lungs.
When he reached the stairs, he noticed that they were burning. It was no problem for the Breton. All his jumping around with spells had also made him quite an impressive jumper on his own. Flint took a running leap, grabbed a beam supporting the roof and then swung further along and landed on the upper floor.
It was there that he noticed several people in trouble.
,,Hi, mind if I drop in? The best way to get out of here would be by jumping out through a window. Please follow me." He told them. It was probably best if he didn't mention that he was the cause of the fire in the first place.
Arygon smashed his machinery into the zombie crushing it to the floor, then he kicked it down into the flames. "Brianna, sorry about this." Arygon lifted her and ran the lenght of the hall smashed through the window and landed on the building next door. Arygon bent to put Brianna down. "There you go all safe now." Arygon stopped "Wait... where's Telina and Rahvin?"
Flint Ironwood, in the burning house of doom!
Flint saw how Arygon grabbed Brianna and stormed out through the window. He was amazingly fast for someone who was carrying someone else. Still, Flint was convinced that there were still people here.
,,Nice going, Arygon! Just look after her for a while, ok?! I'm going to poke around here some more!" He shouted over to them and then began to search the building.
Brianna, safe....for the moment
Brianna tumbled around in the street outside the burning inn, the ice-cloud still to some extent active..but where was Sasal? And Rahvin....Telina??
Another tele-beam had to be cast, this one a really strong one
"Rahvin, Telina, GET OUT OF THERE!"
She sat on the pavement, panting, looking wearily at the building in flames....
"Mother.....what shall I do? I need a fire-extinguishing-spell!"
Then she remembered!
"Flammor.....dra er tillbaka......dra er tillbaka!"
She said the incantation, pointing at the fire.......and waited ror the estimated result..
Ranes, Burning Inn of d00m
Ranes had been jarred awake by the smell of smoke. Luckily he had been fully dressed, even in his armor, when he had gone to bed. He was tired afterall. Sighing he kicked the door down, to find the hall engulfed in flame. The fire didn't concern him - Dunmer burnt about as well as a pile of ash - but the smoke and the damage the fire was doing to the building did. It wouldn't be long before the building's supports were too ravished to support the building, and no matter what race you were, a building falling on you tended to kill you. Ranes cast a few frost spells into the hallway to slow the fire's progress some and backed back into his room.
Turning Ranes blasted out the window with a weak shock spell before leaping out of it and landing with a heavy thud. He pulled himself to his feet and looked at the burning building. Maybe he should've learned conjuration, as a frost atronach would be dandy right now.
Still, Ranes was determined to do what he could, and threw out some frost spells against the building, which extinguished some external flames.
Sadril
The fight with the zombie that ulitimately led to the Inn catching on fire was enough to break Sadril's seriousness for the time being. In fact, he broke out into laughter before the point that the fire had become a serious threat. "Hell, I ain't going in there," he said, minding his weakness to fire as a vampire (of course, for the most part it was nulled by his Dunmeri resistance to fire, he still used it as an excuse). Sadril stepped back and let others work their magick and life-saving skills.
Veric
Veric, standing with Cerpin, noticed some smoke in the general direction of the Inn, "That could be my assassin's doing," he said with a sneer, "This may be a good time for you to take advantage of someone, amidst the chaos of fire, no?" He suggested to Cerpin.
Flint Ironwood, surrounded by flames.
No matter how hard he looked, Flint's search for people came up empty. Now it was time for him to look after his own skin. The whole building was about to collapse.
,,And to think it all started with a zombie."
Flint dashed through the corridor and pulled of some more acrobatics to get up to the now burning roof. He took out his katana and used its Telekinetic blasts to blow a hole in the roof through which he got out. One running leap later, and he was safely on a building on the other side of the street.
,,Wait, didn't my mother once told me not to play with fire? And then to think that I actually called Arygon a pyromaniac the first time we met." He muttered as he looked at the burning ruin.
Arygon dived, for the window and came up a little short and had to pull himself up onto the ledge. He ran down the hall, and in her room was Telina. Arygon's shield came up in time to stop a falling timber from hitting Telina, but another came down and broke a few of his ribs. Arygon raised the shield over Telina, and covered her with his body as buring timbers creaked and broke falling on top of them. The roof will fall soon. Arygon thought to himself as another timber came down and smashed a number of ribs on the other side of his chest.
Veric
Veric as well made his way to the burning Inn, this time under the guise of a young Nord with long blonde hair. He simply stood outside of the burning Inn blending in with the many other on-lookers. He even saw Sadril, who was still standing outside of the Inn, only a bit closer than most.
Sasal
(ooc:sorry, just got home at 4am....)
What the... he thought as the fumes and flames around him made him drowzy. "Damn... where is everyone" He said followed with a hoarse cough. Sasal stood covering his face as he threw one dart blowing up the burning door. Stepping into the freshly blown door, he proceded slowly into his room. My armor... must... retrive it... he thought as his mind grew hazy. Kicking the burning door inwards, he proceded his pack where his armor was. *huff huff* he panted as he slowly made his way to the Brianna's room, tossing his pack outside the window with all his might before passing out on the little safe floor
(ooc: im gonna be out for another few hrs... gots to go to the doctor, so i should be unconsious untill i get back...
)
MAZE
Maze came out of the enchanter's shop... he raised his hand and wiped off the blood that he had gain while killing the enchanter inside... Maze covered his head with his new sage green cloak... of course it was made of poor material... but it had a very good enchantation... constant Sanctuary... Maze had never felt so agile before in his life... He looked up at the night sky and saw smoke... Maze started to smile his sadistic smile... "To think that a little puppet caused so much trouble..." Maze said coldly while letting out a spine shivering chuckle...
He then buttoned up his cloak so his armor was hidden from sight... and he started to make his way through the snow covered streets towards the burning inn... all the meanwhile hidding his saddistic smile underneath his brand new cloak...
Telina, to the rescue
Telina woke up from her trance like statement, looking around..."Oh bugger, the whole place is coming down".
She noticed Arygon was unconsious, and the whole room was almost set ablase, so she spoke a feather spell on Arygon, winging him over her shoulder.
The, she rose up, and started to walk slowly towards the entrance. "Obsuro immentia"...the telepathic wawe, blew the wooden timber away, and had created a hole big enough, for them to jump through, and land on the street.
She had just tossed Arygon out, when she remembered..."Oh bugger, my staff", she ran back as fast as she could into the room...it was getting rather hot now, she ggrabbed the staff, ran back, and jumped out of the building, landing on her feet.
"Brianna, are you alright"?, she said, holding around her..."But, we need to stop this fire, so I need a little magic support", she slowly started to walk towards the inferno building, charging up a powerfull Theurgist spell know only sas Blizzard.
She stepped inside, and unleashed the spell, the thin ice shards flew all around her, as the temperature plummeted to far below zero, she fed more power into the spell, and more and more, then suddenly, she fell to the floor, utterly spent by the magicka she had used to feed the spell.
The fire was now almost gone, and if the people continued to throw frost spells, they would make it.
EDIT: Oh dear, Telina is now trapped under tonnes of rubble...
, someone want to lend a hand?
Hecate
Hecate could see how several tried to stop the flames, but it seemed for little use. The whole inn would soon fall apart, he had to find out if the half-breed was still inside.
Hecate threw the last buckets over the flames on the stairs, but it didn't help. He made a quick dash towards the wall next the stair. A leap later along with some handy ledges inside the inn he landed rough on the top of the stairs. He sprinted forward, his eyes switching from each side to another as he passed the rooms. He spotted the Breton he'd seen before, the one who tried to engulf him in fire - he was protecting a female Dunmer, lucky for her, she was not the half-breed Hecate was looking for. Another Dunmer came into his sight as well, a male. The expression on his face was chaos, the man was screaming to himself. Hecate only passed the door with a smile on his face, knowing that if the Dunmer wouldn't run soon, he'd be out of the way.
Hecate came to the end of the hallway, only to encounter a broke window. He leaped onto the window frame as the fires started spreading around him.
Damnit
Hecate scanned the area, only to find out someone had jumped from the inn over to the next house, a acrobatic fellow. He made a small jump, turning in the air and grabbing the above him, pulling himself up before he got his foot on the roof and stood up. Moving gently on the sides of the roof, knowing he could fall down he soon spotted several people outside the inn... Another quick scan and he found her, the half-breed. His eyes wouldn't let go now. She looked rather consentrated as he spoke arcane words, trying to stop the fire. Then all of a sudden he felt the roof failing beneath him, he made a dexterious leap of the building as the roof started falling together and huge flames rised. He landed hard.
Idiot, land in the pile of snow next time
He rolled around on his stomach before getting up slowly and gently, moving around and into the crowd.
Arygon was feeling... odd... like he was too light for gravity to stop him. Coughing blood Arygon stood, and he saw Telina fall and dove, and almost knocked himself out with pain as he laned on broken ribs. Telina had landed on top of him though and had been saved a broken skull. Arygon slowly rolled out from under her, in time to see a fellow acrobat dive from the inn with a number of flashly flips What a waste, he could've made it twice as far... Arygon thought. Then the blood lose caught up to him and he collapsed in a small pool of his own blood.
Flint Ironwood, back into the hell.
Flint saw how several people actually entered the inn.
,,What? Don't they know the place is coming down?! Me and my stupid consciense."
He shouted as he leaped back across the street and crashed through the weakened wall. Luckily for him, he'd landed right in a room with an old man who appeared to be unconscious. Flint moved over to the man and looked above him when he heard an ominous creaking sound. The roof was coming down!
Flint desperately came up with ten plans to get the old man out of here before they were crushed and rejected them all. When the roof began to fall, he finally came up with the only plan that might actually work.
,,Here we go!" He shouted as he dove on top of the old man and called in the help of his Breton Heritage. The powers of Dragon Skin flowed around him and deflected most of the falling rubble, but Flint still screamed when a big block of wood fell on his back.
Half unconscious from pain, Flint dragged the old man to the hole in the wall, protecting him from as much falling rubble as he could with his own body. With one last push, he dropped the man into the snow outside and fell after him. With one last sigh, Flint let go of his consciousness and plunged into darkness.
(There, Sasal is safe and another good guy is knocked out.)
Cerpin
Cerpin took advantage of Rahvin's state and quickly did the deed. Leaving the glove on his frail form to keep Rahvin's soul from inhabiting it, he had soon extricatied Rahvin's soul from his body and replaced it with his own. He left his other form to burn.
Or maybe freeze. he thought as a barrage of frost spells hitthe inn.
'Rahvin' stumbled out the door, severely burned and coughing from the smoke. He fell a few paces from where Telina and Brianna stood.
"My eyes." he whimpered. "They got burned real bad." he lied, making up an excuse for his now yellow eyes. Now his disguise as Rahvin was complete.
Rahvin
Rahvin was immediately torn from a state of sheer happiness to a state of sheer confusion. He had felt himself compelled out of his own body and towards another, but hadn't been able to get in.
What the hell? It took him a moment to realize that this was no dream, as he felt himself pulled. Not in any direction, but out of existence. It was a truly scary feeling, and Rahvin's soul moved quickly, resisting the pull.
He finally rested in Sadril's body. He screamed into Sadril's head, but went unheard. He had a natural defense against his intrusion, but Rahvin would find a way through. Someday.
OOC:Eh Danny, Telina is inside the inn, under the rubble ![]()
Telina, trapped
Telina, woke up again, and found out that she was trapped under a big pile of rubble, to heavy for her to lift. She tried to summon up a smaller psychic blast, that would send the rubble up and away, but she found her magicka totally drained, she moaned a bit, before she managed to shout.
"Help...*cough*, I-I'm under here *cough*, I'm trapped, someone, *cough* someone get me out"!!!
She tried to mmove, but her arms, was undoubtly broken, as she could feel nothing but pain, so that took away her chance of using her stronghold ring.
Arygon, bleeding profusely crawled over to Telina. He tried to stand but failed, his ribs had cracked in a most unfortunate way keeping him from standing. Arygon did his best to lift Telina, byt ended up crawling and dragging Telina along on his back. He had almost made it to the hole in the wall when his concienseness started slipping again. His machine hand whirring violently, pushed him onto his feet then he pulled himself along using wall panels to help him stand. He jumped from the hole and landed in a pile of ... soon to be red snow...
Sasal
In the process of being tossed into the snow, sasal woke up instantly. He tumbled from his shoulders back on to his feet. His mind still hazy, he said "gah, where is everyone?ahh darn, thats the inn is burning," he said while wiping the ash from his face this what Nerevar once went through he thought semi-playfuly.
Thoughts raced through his mind i want to save them, but i promised my self that id throw away my knowlage of destruction and conjuration 20 years ago with that being err... thought he saw Arygon and telina jump from the large hole in the buuilding.
"Oh no!" he said to him self as he blindly summomed two golden saints to catch them from their decent. seeing that they were alright and assuming that onone saw him summon a daedra, he fell down on his behind as he thought
I feel disgusted..... as the essence of magicka still marked his hands
Brianna, to the rescue
Brianna was aware of the flames diminishing a bit, but the Inn was totally damaged and the walls and roof were falling apart. She saw Arygon dragging out Telina from under a heap of rubbish and buildingmaterial...then he fell to the ground. Brianna leaped to them, muttered some simple healing-spells to get the worst parts together she didnīt exactly know where they were hurt, just that Telinaīs arms were bent in some impossible angle
"Ouch, that must hurt!" she bent over the girl and tried with her hands......the healingpower could sometimes be more efficient whaen actually touching the wound...
In the corner of her left eye she saw a man looking at her........and it somehow scared her extremely much....
"Oh....he wants me dead!....oh what shall I do now?""
Telina, rescued
Telina got to her feet, looking at her (now healed) arms, "yeah, it hurt a bit". She gulped down a restore magicka and restore health potion, and instantely felt better.
"Well, shall we get moving then", she said, looking rather worried at Brianna.
"Brianna, what is it", she said in a telepathic message to Brianna.
OOC: I'm going on an Alice Cooper consert tonight, so minque, you control Telina for me, when I'm away ok?
OOC: yup...sure Iīll do that!
Brianna
She looked at Telina....
"That man over there, he is evil....Iīm sure he wants me dead" she telepathically answered Telina, pointing at Hecate
Flint Ironwood, back among the living.
Flint woke up a short time later, and he really wished he'd remained knocked out. His body hurt all over'.
,,Note to self, don't use Flin and fireballs in a mostly wooden structure." He muttered as he crawled to his feet.
Miraculously, he'd come out relatively unscratched, thanks to his armour and Breton blood. Though he wouldn't be able to go full speed into battle again for a while, he would be alright.
Flint looked around and walked over to Arygon who was lying close to the two women. A short look revealed that the man would live, though it would take a better healer than Flint was to take care of the injuries he'd sustained. This was Flint's fault, so maybe he should join Arygon and the women to redeem himself.
Flint glanced around, ignoring the ruin behind him. There was Rahvin, but he looked even weirder than usual. ,,What did those girls do to him? He doesn't look different mentally, but also physically."
,,Hey, what happened to your eyes?" He asked as casual as he possibly could in his current state.
Brianna, taking care of Arygon
When she was sure Telina was ok she turned to Arygon, the poor man had several ribs broken and was in a bad shape.
"Telina, help me out here, I think we owe this poor guy one"
Brianna started a more serious healing with good help from Telina. The girls used all their skills and were pleased to see that it did have some effect on poor Arygon.
"He has helped us all the time" Brianna said thoughtfully, "I wonder why?"
She had to concentrate on the healing-business, to avoid getting out of her mind with fear....
Telina was still by her side.....that was reassuring.....
Deagan, Outside the Inn
Deagan walked near Arygon and Rahvin calmly bending down beside them. He looked to Brianna and Telina.
"We need to clean the wounds before you seal them...if you seal them first, you risk an infection." Deagan said, remembering his experience as a ranger of sorts
He stood and walked a few feet away to the small crowd of people that had gathered to watch the Inn burn. Deagan grabbed a random man from the crowd, a tall nord man with blond hair.
"Don't just stand there get water and some cloth so we can wrap the wounds. Go now!" He said in a commanding voice to the stranger(veric)
He returned to a crouched position near Arygon, checking his wounds.
This is not good...
Hecate
Hecate noticed there was something the half-breed had noticed, about him apparently. Her bodylanguage explained it all, she was sensible to evil, very sensible. Hecate closed his thoughts, no more thinking - it was time to go by pure instinct to get within the group and get the job done. But even thought it was only a pregenant woman, he somehow felt that this wouldn't end right. A feeling he'd never gotten before, someone was very special about this woman...
Hecate shaked his head as all possible thoughts were about to kick in the door and enter his mind. He focused and started walking against the half-breed who was now healing the Breton. His mind was all blank now, a void.
"Is everything all right, is everyone out?" Hecate asked, his tone and expression didn't show anything, he sounded real - like he was caring for those who might be trapped inside.
MAZE
Maze was standing on the edge of a building near the burning inn... his sage green cloak was dancing as the wind blew on it... he looked down to see the crowd of people watching the burning building... and another group of people in complete chaos... runing in and out of the burning inn... Maze smiled as usual but his face was hidden from view as his hoodie completley covered his face...
He watched how several people jumped out of the building... and how others where crushed by it... and how some came to their aid... he then saw something perculiar... his companion... he had changed bodies... Maze could not help but to chuckle...
Veric
Veric, as a young Nord, smiled when what had happened dawned on him. Rahvin with yellow eyes? Hah, I like this Cerpin Taxt. But one of the rescuers had ran up to him and ordered him to get some water and cloth. Veric obliged, if only to get a better knowing of all of his enemies.
He fetched two buckets of water and held some cloth under his arm and set them down next to the man who had asked him to get them. "Can I help with anything else," he asked in a timid tone.
Sadril
Sadril laughed outloud when he realized he seemed to be the only one who emerged from this whole thing completely unscathed. He kept it to himself though, to avoid a certain two women to come down on him for not helping.
He felt a pinch in the back of his head, only for a second, but strong enough to coax an "Ow!" out of him. People in the crowd gave the vampire funny looks.
Arygon felt his ribs mending... slightly off the proper spots but they were good enough for him to stand. He stood and noticed a man ask whether everyone was alright, Yeah, thats right don't help Arygon thought to himself. Then Arygon noticed something that noone would understand, his entire mechanical forearm was revealed, the skin burned off of it. [I] Oh, boy... [ /I] Arygon thought to himself bending to snap his ribs into place.
Deagan, patching up the wounded
"Thats all I need." He said plainly as he took the rags and water from the nord, not bothering to thank him
Deagan flushed the hurt people's wounds with water and wrapped them tightly with cloth, he was no healer but he could slow the bleeding until Brianna and Telina had time to get to them...healing was a slow process after all.
After a moment he'd wrapped the wounds and burns of those who had come to him, then he sat back in the snow for a moment and relaxed.
That building is going to burn...there's no point in trying to put it out...everyone's already outside.
Deagan picked up a bottle of flin off the ground that had been kicked outside and popped the cork, tilting it up to take a drink.
"Empty...I could've guessed." He said aloud
This whole incident was because of Flint...but there was no point in letting the others know at the moment. Deagan sat aimlessly beside the others before falling on his back in the snow with a sigh.
Flint Ironwood, caught in his world of guild. (ok, he's standing outside.)
Flint nodded.
,,Maybe you should put some snow on them to cool it all off. But you'd better ask Brianna or Telina. They seem to be the healers here. And don't forget, be careful around them. They've both got a crush on you and you don't want to be cought in the middle." He said before moving closer to the two women.
,,Look, first you're being chased by assassins, then we get a slaughter in the middle of the street while you two were yelling at each other and then we get a zombie in the inn, a zombie that was one of the guards that had been killed a bit earlier. That's a bit too much to be mere coincidence. Mind if I offer my services? Free of charge." He told the two and scanned the crowd. Where there was undead, the master was usually near. A cold shiver ran down his spine when he thought off what was all going on here. This was very frightening.
Sadril and Veric (oh noes!!)
Sadril began going through the remnants of the Inn. It had been, for the most part, been reduced smoldering rubble. He dug around through the burnt planks of wood looking for survivors. In reality he was looking for any remaining alcohol.
Veric, disguised as a tall, young Nord with long blonde hair, joined Sadril in searching through the rubble. He finally made his way to behind Sadril and leaned to whisper in his ear. "You will have to choose sides one day. It will be my way or death," he said darkly, in a very non-Nordic tone.
Sadril turned unbelievably (only made believeable by his vampirism) fast and drew his Katana in a wide arc at the man standing behind him.
No one was there...
Brianna, still healing
Brianna turned to another wounded man, a dunmer with yellow eyes.....
"Strange, where did he come from? didnīt see him before"
Brianna shrugged...it really didnīt matter, the man had severe burns and needed healing, no matter who he was and where he came from. She did not sense any evil coming from him so she could as well start healing him.
"Snow, to chill his skin....then extract of choke-weed......"
Brianna worked hastily with help from Telina.....burns were the worst wounds, they were extremely hard to heal.
The man said nothing he didnīt complain even though he must have been in terrible pain.
Brianna offered him some Flin......but not ordinary one.....there was another vingredient in it, that would for sure take the pain away......and the patient himself also if he was not strong enough!
Arygon stood off to the side, his ribs hurt but no longer were hanging in odd directions. "Rahvin? What happened to your eyes?" Arygon thought it was Rahvin... or at least it looked like Rahvin... except with yellow eyes...
Flint Ironwood, outside.
Flint was still looking at the crowd when he heard Arygon's question.
,,I think it was the ash and the fire." He answered. Rahvin was best left alone for the moment. The man had been trough a lot lately.
There were plenty of unsavory types around, but none had made any threatening movements, yet. Flint now looked up higher and checked the roofs of the buildings. There he saw a man who was covered in a green cloak. Just the sight of him made a shiver run through Flint's spine and filled his heart with fear which he quickly fought back. He didn't like it how the man stood there and watched the chaos below, like a human watching a nest of ants.
Cerpin
Cerpin knew about the fight between Telina and Brianna, but he didn't know who Rahvin had chosen, or if he had even made any kind of decision.
Cerpin decided to choose for him by sitting up and kissing Brianna.
OOC:
Flint Ironwood, outside.
Flint diverted his eyes away from the scary man just long enough to see Rahvin kiss Brianna, right in front of Telina's nose! The Breton rolled his eyes.
,,I told him to be carefull. What happened to him? Before those two fell all for him, he looked like a cautious guy who would rather kill himself before kissing someone. It's as if I'm looking at someone else." Flint shook of the thought, and redirected his gaze back at the man on top of the roof.
,,I've got a really bad feeling about all of this."
(Time for bed. If something important happens, please make Flint tag along.)
Telina, bit jealous
Telina looked at Rahvin, when he kissed Brianna...and though she still had feelings for him, she only felt a little sting of jealousy, somethign had changed, that man could not be Rahvin, he acted a little different...but for now, she would keep it to herself and have a closer eye on him.
She looked at Arygon, who was being patched up again, "here", she said...tossing a bottle of ice cold water, to comfort him a bit. She could also sense something, a newcomer with...bad intentions, but with the large crowd here, it would be impossible to locate him.
"Brianna, we have to be careful now, the enemy is here...right now we could use, your mother", the message was again sent telepathically to Brianna, cut off from everyone else, altough the last part was more Telina talking to herself, but Brianna heard it.
Rahvin (the real one)
Rahvin could see through Sadril's eyes, hear through his ears, everything but feel or communicate. He found the exchange between Sadril and the Nord more than odd. Especially since he had said the same thing the night before.
Both sides were pressing in on Sadril it seemed.
He send out a message to Sadril's mind again, but he could tell that it didn't get through.
Brianna, still kissing Cerpin/Rahvin
"...use your mother......Telina was asking about her mother..why...Brianna wasnīt sure where her mother was at the moment...hmmm"
She let go of the man she was kissing and smiled at him......then turned to Telina nodding her head. If Telina said they needed her mother then she was probably right....
"Iīll try to call for her"
She saw that Telina had understood. Then she sensed the evil again......but who was the evil person? Apparently not the man lying beside her, still recovering from his wounds.
Brianna still held his hand and tried to send a telepathic message to her mother.......
To Serene Vantinius-Sarethi......her mother..
OOC: Wonder if Cerpin is as merciful as Rahvin was.....
Arygon's blades came up, but his grip broke off the handle of one, his machine-hand hadn't quite calibrated. "So... Rahvin changed your mind?" Arygon guaffed the man had to be insane. " so what's with the eyes? Rahvin?" Arygons from forearm-mechano slid a dwemer blade implanted with the machinery. Rahvin... there's something strange... oh well. Arygon thought to himself.
Sasal
Sasal stood from the snow as he gazed at the burning building. Reminds me much of the times my unit and i had... disposed of the false nerevarines in morrowind he deeply thought.Shifting his head to his right, he say Arygon and Brianna healing a few people. Sasal had forgot to dispose of his golden saints he had summoned, and he had raised his hands up parallel from his torso and clenched his fists, making them disapear from the mortal plains. He brushed some ash off his bare chest as he donned his armor.
Fixing his undershirt, he knelt down near Arygon and Brianna as he layed his cuirass and helmet near them; saying, with a great smile "You two dont look so good, how bout' a nice healing potion? Ive got my alchemy equipment and some ingridients to make a few..."
He placed his sword on his side as he pulled out his equipment from his bag, he pulled out a few peices of marshmerrow and saltrice and put them through his equipment, then pouring them from the pestle and divided it into two vials, all while ignoring the current catastrophy as he smiled and humed the same ashlander hymn,
"What a wondrous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
...hmm...hmmm.....
From first kiss to last breath,
First and last whispered in love."
Hecate
It didn't seem to work for Hecate, apparently only coming close to the half-breed made her shiver, no matter form. Hecate knew there had to be another way of coming into the group, somehow.
He noticed the half-breed healing a wounded Dunmer, the Dunmer he'd seen inside the inn. He was badly wounded, but the half-breed's skills of healing made him better - and then they suddenly kissed. He could sense something between the half-breed and the other female, jealousy maybe?
Hecate knew he would have to get inside the group, unless someone else could do it for him.
It was time to find the Breton (Veric) he had gotten the amulet from. Hecate took off against the burning inn walking through the ashes, pass the Vampire and went into the alleyways, as if he was searching for more wounded.
Telina, Vvardenfell
Telina, stood in her stronghold again, looking around. She had a feeling that a great clash would come sooner rather than later, so she needed to gear up.
She took off the Black Hand robes, and equipped back into a set of clothing she hadn't worn for ages. The Theurgist set was fitted as always, and she could feel her magicka reachargin even more. The Theurgist robe of frost, along wit the gloves, made her look like she had been so many years ago...when she was still Arch-Magister of the house, the shoes was also good, and after a bit searching she found the staff, the staff of elemental channeling, felt cold to the touch at first, but then it gave a little warmth in her hands.
To complete things, she took her two Adamantium shortswords, and a rather heavy Ebony broadsword, and then she headed out.
Telina, Ald Rhuun
She had forgotten how much she hated the mages guil, and their so called "respectable fees" for transportation, so she started to plot out great plan to make them pay(again), but she had more important tasks at hand, she needed to find Serene, and from her information, Serene was living in Sarethi manor, under skar.
She entered the skar, and was instantely stopped by some Redoran guards. Since she refused to lay away her weapons, one of them ran to Athyn Sarethi, telling what she wanted, the answer was..."Miss Serene, is in New Vivec for the moment, in a very important meeting with the Archanon Tholer Saryoni".
She quickly translocated to New Vivec, mrching inside the temple High Fane. SHe knocked once on the office door to Tholer, and entered, and there by a desk sat Serene...
"Serene, I need to speak with you...now"!!!!
OOC:Yeah I know...a bit long
Arygon watched Telina leave and turned to Brianna, the Dwemer blade still hanging from the machinery, "So what now?" Arygon asked. He walked over to Brianna so that he could look over her shoulder to laugh at Rahvin who hadn't been smart enough to jump out of a burning building...
Flint, staring at Maze.
The man cackled and a new wave of fear surged through Flint. Flint now recognised the man, it was the slaughterer! He felt how his knees began to shake and forced himself to let go of his fear. His body ached all over thanks to the rubble that had fallen on top of him when he saved the old man. Flint now recognised the old man as the one who had fought the slaughterer before, but that wasn't important.
What was important was the fact that Flint was not capable of using all of his abilities at the moment due to his injuries. Flint saw how the man he was watching turned into a shadow and dissappeared.
,,Ow, crap. Why does this always happen to me?"
Flint drew his katana and dagger as he kept a carefull eye on his surroundings. The fear was gone now, only sheer determination remained.
,,Guys, we might have company of the guy who killed those guards earlier." He spoke out loud.
Cerpin
"I don't have any old friends." he said to the guard, just going on what he had seen of Rahvin's demeanor.
He read the note before ripping it up and stopming it to the ground. Of course, the words were gone, but he had to make it seem as if it had said something.
This bastarde wants my kill. he thought bitterly.
Sadril
It was nothing special, the easiest place to sneak into while town security was so hot. A middle aged female was Sadril's victim for the night. The blood of average quality. Enough to sustain him until the next night.
He walked down the streets of Lainlalten rather lazily. The vampire felt more tired than usual for this time of night. Especially considereing he rarely slept. And there was this nagging feeling in the back of his head aside from the overbearing evil presence.
The shadows, the 'voices', were quieter than usual considering the situation. As if something else was going on that had them preoccupied. Sadril had no problem with it though, it was a welcome break.
OOC: im out for a bit.
Hecate
Veric took off into the shadows, to tell Cerpin out this plan they had figured out. Hecate was curious thought, whow as this Cerpin? Hecate usually worked alone, but he knew it was for the better to be more people in, even thought the reward might drop. Still Hecate was left with this nervous feeling of why this woman was suppose to get killed, it had gotten to him several times now - he was poking someone here.
Without further thought about that subject he did as Veric and he took off into the shadows of the claustrophobic alleyways. He made his way acrobaticly up the wall of a small mansion some what three-hundred feet away from the inn, which had been transformed into a pile of ash and a couple of dead bodies. He crawled slowly up on the roof, stomach down, only getting his eyes over the top curve of the roof. His keen eyes didn't have any problem catching what happend near the inn in detail. He watched his prey and how the situation was unfolding.
Arygon turned toward Rahvin, Archon's Blade fully extended from his mechanical arm, He usually isn't THAT arrogant... Arygon thoguht to himself. Arygon noticed Archon's Blade, it really did react to his emotions. Then he was surpised as Telina appeared not a foot in front of him, "ummm... Telina what would've happened if you landed... in me?" Arygon asked quite nervously, he had never gotten an anwser from any mage what would happen if you transported into something...
Deagan, near the Inn
Deagan watched as Telina appeared again with some older woman...
What the hell is going on here?
"Who the hell are you and what are you doing here?" Deagan asked plainly as he stared at Serene
He hadn't heard anything about this woman being brought here or why...it just seemed off to him.
Arygon bowed, despite the rudeness of others Arygon could recognise a noble. Excellent! this could be easy.. if she's not like Brianna at least. Arygon thought to himself. "My Lady, I see where Brianna got her looks." Always compliment them, makes it easier later Arygon pondered how he was going to get anything valueable... it seemed she carried everything in sachels..
Flint Ironwood, still on his guard.
Flint was still circling around with his blades in his hands when Telina came back, with a woman.
,,Eh, someone else here to join the party? Hi, I'm Flint. And you are?" He said to the woman without bothering to put away his weapons. He then heard her talk about a fire and blushed. Luckily he was still wearing his mask.
,,The fire? Long story." He stammered before continuing his circling. This would be just the time for something nasty to pop up.
Serene
"Quite crowdy here isnīt it?" Serene turned to Telina, then to her daughter shaking her head.
The breton that stood a bit aside was at least polite so she smiled at him, introduced herself, when she noticed the somewhat way he watched her....
"Thatīs a funny one.....not as stable and sensble as Trey....no no"
"So ...what can I do for you all here? What do you want from me?"
"Brianna.....go and put some decent clothes on!!! There are a lot of men here!"
Brianna
Brianna blushed.......
"Sheīs always picking on me....I canīt do anything right in her eyes"
"Iīm sorry mom, I donīt have any other clothes......there was a fire you know!"
"Rahvin....help me!!"
Sadril
Sadril returned, his thirst satisfied, to find a newcomer. Something was off about her though, something special. This 'Serene' gave him a strange feeling of... he couldn't explain it well. Good-ness. Different than all these other eyes that are watching us.
The vampire approached in a peculairly cautious fashion. He looked into Serene's eyes from off to the side, but said nothing.
Archon's Blade had completely retracted, How odd Arygon thought to himself that noone has noticed my... oddity. Arygon pondered for a moment. "Sadril, hwere have you been?"
Serene
She felt something approach......
"Uh..a vampire!..but....heīs got some dual personality.....and is not all evil..it seems.....hmm thereīs someoneīs mind trying to reach him but unsuccessful...I wonder...."
Then her very sensitive mind got a nasty schock......EVIL......there was some evil spirit not far away.....she could feel it like a blow in her face.....but the evilness did not emerge from anyone near..it came from.....somewhere quite a bit away....
Serene turned around silently sniffing like a dog to localize the evil spirit..or rather mind!
OOC: Ok Hecate......let the fun begin....Serene has sensed you!
Flint Ironwood, all acting paranoid.
Flint was seriously getting frustrated. He hated invisible enemies. Of course, he had no real reason to believe anyone evil to be around, but he just had this feeling. And feelings had saved his life more than once.
He smiled a bit when he heard Sadril's comment about Arygon's arm.
,,That guy is so full of surprises, he can't surprise me anymore." He thought to himself. He then got serious again.
,,Hey, bad guy! I know you're here! Don't act like a coward and hide in the shadows. Come over here where I can knock you down instead! I won't let you kill anyone for as long as I'm standing here! So come here, unless you got scared!" He suddenly shouted into the air.
(Ok, Flint is losing his grip on reality.
)
Arygon watched the Rahvin and Brianna's mother argue... it seemed there was more conversation than you could hear. "Hmmm... long story.. to do with my father mainly..." Arygon felt a strong pain in his leg, he realised the blade had stabbed outward again. "So... Rahvin... changed your mind?" Arygon laughed, it was fun to see them fight, it kept them from thinking of why he was still here.
Telina
Telina noticed Serene, talking to Rahvin, and from what she felt, Serene was telepathically talking to him as well...good, so it wasn't just telina who was suffering from the normal Telvanni paranoia.
"Ok, but I really think we should get going...fast, as there are someone after us...and they wont spare anyone of us, if they catch up with us".
"I feel it also, there is great evil approaching us...I feel watched" she said telepathically to Serene.
Sasal
"With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together...
....hummm...hummm...."
Sasal noticed a flash of light as telina and another woman step from it. She was somewhat hard to see in his view, as he was allergic to saltrice. Soon he herd the older womans voice Is that.... no... he thought in his head as he identified the woman as Serene, a woman he had not seen in ages.... only remembering her as a former advisary durring his days of endless skirmishes .... Probly the only woman i had a thing for he thought to him self as he looked at her, wiping some snow from his mouth's scar.
Sasal
He stood from his kneeling position and proceded to Serene. "Greetings muthera, i am Sasal Valor" He said as he kept his head down, blushing. He stuck his hand out to Serene as he waited for her to make contact with his hands.
Flint Ironwood, totally losing it.
Flint yelled his challenge a couple more times before running off and swinging his blades at various shadows in the hope of hitting something invisible.
,,Where are you, you monster?!"
(Bedtime, having Flint run around like a Berserking Orc is probably the best for now. If someone attacks, feel free to make Flint provide telekinetic fire support.)
Arygon sat on the ground, quite bored with the conversation. "Flint, what ARE you doing?" Arygon asked. He carried a lantern over to Flint. "Theres nothing here... Flint are you ok?" Arygon was worried, an insane peron wasn't the best one to have along on a trip.
Sasal
Looking at Serene, sasal thought How little you have changed since we last spoke....
even thought it usualy ended up in an fight of somesort..... Sasal sighed as he awaited for Serene to shake his hand
Blushing even more that before, he stuttered, "G-gggday to yyy-yyou mm-muthera-a" he said again as he presented her with a fine emerald necklace, "A Gift to you" he said
Telina
"Ok, not to be rude or anything, but I say we should get moving quite quick, we are after all being hunted by unknown assassins, so my tip is that we head out towards Dawnstar".
"Serene, I have a feeling, I dont think I will stay with you any longer, my time is closing...but if the worst shöuld happen, find my son and...and tell him that I love him".
OOC. We really should get out from this town.
Cerpin
Don't worry. he sent one last message to Serene as she walked away. I'll be gone as soon as I find a way to tell your daughter and Telina goodbye.
"She's probably angry because you just told her you didn't want her as a mother." he said matter-of-factly. "You should probably go talk to her."
Arygon finished poking at Flint, and decided to bother Rahvin some. "Hey Yellow eyes!" Arygon called as he walked over " Can't stop talking to people you're supposed to have to have killed, eh?" Arygon laughed lowly, "Have a little crush do we?" Arygon's Archon blade randomly slid up and down as he talked, it seemed it was a little too based on his emotions.
Flint Ironwood, pure paranoid!
Flint wasn't very happy with everyone making fun of him.
,,Look, I know that something is wrong here and we're being watched. So why don't you guys help out instead of trying to be funny?" He grumbled. He then noticed a shadow move out of the corner of his eyes.
,,There you are!" He shouted as he leaped forward and sank his blades in the shadow, only to meet thin air.
,,Damn. When I get out of here, I'm going to replace my dagger with another katana. Its range is just pathetic. Now stop playing with me, where ever you are!"
(Alright, Flint will tag along when everyone leaves. I'll be off to shool till 16.30, so please don't go smack him into the ground till I'm back, ok?)
Hecate
Hecate followed the situation unfold, having a pleasant time watching them, even thought they could sense his presence. Out from thin air, the female Dunmer appeared with someone else, someone that looked familiar. The woman catched his evil presence fast and turned, he's keen eyes zoomed in on the woman, who was no other than the famous Serene... and she was actually trying to get Hecate to come out. It was time to change the game plan, leaving Brianna up to this... Cerpin man.
He slowly moved out of sight...
Serene, Serene... Oh cunning Serene. I did not expect having you in this filthy town. You're name have been whispered throughout the realm of the assassins, the rewards are nearly as epic as you're stories. Don't expect me coming out yet, we do want some fun don't we? We should meet sometime thought. Don't worry about trying to find my mind orbing around, I'm very sure I'll find you so don't worry you're little head on that..."
With that said... Thought... what ever. He dived of the roof top, a quick and smooth roll and he was up on his feet and ventured into the shadows with a smile on his face.
Guess I'll have to take out my ace for these kind of people...
Arygon laughed, Rahvin WAS differen! "Lets get going before Flint over there goes insane." Arygon spared a glance for him, he was muttering something about katana's. Arygon shook his head sadly. It wasn't good to see someone like that... But Arygon, being a breton, could hear whispers of magic. Of course most of the town knew simple restoration spells and it could be just that...
Cerpin
Cerpin looked at everyone leaving and squeezed Brianna's hand.
"I think we need to get going unless we want to be left behind."
Flint Ironwood, calmed down (finally!)
Flint noticed how everyone left. He circled around for a few more seconds before finally sheating his blades. People now regarded him as the town's idiot, be he didn't care. He'd rather be an idiot than being death. It didn't look like the man was coming out of the shadows, so Flint decided to ignore the whole thing for the moment.
,,Hey, wait for me!" He shouted as he ran after the group.
Telina
Telina, had walked in silence for a bit, before Serene came up to her. Telina suddenly stopped, while aa strong feeling had erupted in her chest.
"This is where it will happen...I cant go further".
"Serene, go move one, I have to stay here...I dont know what will happen to me here, so in case the worst should happen, goodbye, and I'll see you on the other side"...the tears was glistening in her eyes now, and she hate to talk to her like this.
"Take this map, and continue dead north from here, then you will get to Dawnstar, and dome a favour...dontlook back, dont look back", Telina hgged Serene, before she took out her sword, waiting for...something.
OOC: Surely the entire band will look back, and watch Telia get "killed".
Flint Ironwood, tagging along.
They'd been moving for just a short while when they stopped again.
,,Hey, what's the hold up?" He muttered to himself.
After hearing the optimistic explanation, Flint drew his weapons (again.) and faced back the way they came.
,,I hate to spoil the fun for you, but are you sure you want to pull of a solo action? You're not the only one around here who can fight." He said sarcastically. Telina scared him a bit, but he would be damned if he let a little fear control him.
(Feel free to whack him on the head or something.
)
Flint Ironwood, still the same place
Flint glanced at Serene.
,,Wow, she sure is hotheaded. Much different than my mum. Can't say that's a bad thing though. At least she isn't the scared type like my mum was." He thought with a hint of respect.
,,I'm just trying to help, ok? Is that a problem or something?" He said out loud.
Hecate
Hecate swiftly made his way too a small hideout he'd made in Lainlalten, it wasn't easy to find it, through a house, down in the cellar, hidden behind a barrel was a secret entrance to the sewers. Not far away from the secret entrance he had a small hideout. He made his way to his small chest of equipment, equipment which had been passed down by assassins before him...
Wonder if it's even in here...
He opened the lock quickly and looked through, nearly desperate. Digging through lockpicks, daggers, cloaks, all off it nearly legendary items he found what he needed. It was an usefull item he'd actually gotten from his father, a enchanted ring.
Oh yes... Ring of the Mind Wall
The ring's name said it all, simply barricaded his thoughts inside his head. Mindreaders and other telepaths couldn't read his thoughts as long as he wore the ring.
He gently put it in one of his pouches, locked the chest and went out again, he had to keep up with the group.
OOC: Hope that isn't to uber, but it's annoying getting noticed all the time when you're an assassin
Sasal looked at serene and said" it would be my pleasure to accompany you, m'lady" he said as he donned his armor. trying to hid his blushing face by equiping his armor, he said" That necklace, i found it while clearing out old morunhold with my old ordinator unit" He said feeling confidant that she would be impressed "It was when we cleared out some bandits that were robbing the graves of Helseth's family we found it on a pedistal"
(ooc: just let sasal follow 'serene' around, im going to the doctor again....
Sadril
Sadrl simply walked past Telina, knowing full well what would happen. He put a hand on her shoulder as he passed and said a simple, "Good luck." He continued walking, even though some had stopped, but he called back to Flint, "Flint quit screwing around, these ladies know full well what they are doing."
Veric
"A challenger? So soon? This should get interesting," the Breton smirked as he spoke. Although he was standing on the far outsirts of Lainlalten, he spoke as if he could see what was going on in the group. He began walking slowly towards them, still too far away for anyone to make out. That is, asde from the telepaths; he made no attempt at shielding his mind or hiding his presence as he had been doing up until now.
Flint Ironwood, confused
Flint was not happy with all this. For some stupid reason, everyone seemed to insist on Telina going into a fight all by herself. Unless she turned out to be a master of Destruction who enjoyed covering the landscape in massive fireballs, he doubted she would get out alive. Still, it looked likely that everyone would kill him if he tried to help.
,,Fine, have things your way. Well, good luck." He said, put his weapons away and began moving again.
,,You're going to need all the luck you can get."
Hecate
Hecate re-appeared not far away from where the group was currently standing, they were saying goodbye to the female Dunmer while the rest continued to walk, they were leaving.
Hecate took off his shapeshifting amulet, putting it in his pouch before moving after the group. Keeping his distance, not getting unnecassery close and screw things up...
Telina
Seeing that the others had left, she took a deep breath, steeling herself.
"Ok you monster, I'm ready for you", she shouted..."I'm alone, but I will not fail to kill you.
OOC:Trying to convience herself.
But I have to go now, so Shogun if you want, you can write the whole fight...just make it look that Telina is making a hell of a stand, and fights good...mkay?
Telina
Telina saw the man move closer, she could make out his face now...his yellow eyes.
"Obscure Imparamezi", the powerf of the shock spell, made the trees move, and the air loaded up with static electricity, thunder roared, and lightings shoock the sky, and before the powerful spell hit, Telina was already running towards Veric, Ebony Broadsword ready for a powerful swing.
OOC. The spell, will shake him a bit, but not kill him...nothing that serious.
Serene and Brianna
Mother and daughter watched in horror the battle of the giant mages......they were stunned, this really was a showdown,...
Flint Ironwood, running away.
Flint looked back to where they left Telina when he heard all the noise of thunder and stuff. He didn't like what he saw.
,,Damn, she needs help." He thought and his hand had already gripped the handle of his katana when he stopped his motion. This was a battle that would only claim more lives if anyone intervened.
,,Alright, the girl is buying us some time so let's use it as good as we can. RUN!" He shouted and picked up speed.
Rahvin
I love how everyone's just rushing to help. he thought bitterly.
Cerpin
Cerpin had put up his mental barrier to keep Serene out of his thoughts a few moments ago; he needed to think.
With Telina gone, Veric will have already done my job for me. Even after our deal. If he takes another without consulting me, we may have a disagreement.
He looked to Brianna with a worried face. "As much as I hate to say it, I think flint is right."
Arygon watched from the shadows carefully examining the fighting. Who will win?
OOC (after edit): Actually Arygon has no honour at all... he does what he wants...
Hecate
Hecate saw how lightning lighted up the skies and the sounds of thunder and battle echoed through the place. Hecate came to the field where Veric and Telina was unleashing great powers at each other, but he could see how Veric wasn't doing his best, he was testing this Dunmer female. Hecate watched in exitement from the sideline, within the shadows.
Serene
Cerpin had blocked his mind....she couldnīt reach him. It did worry her a bit. The Cerpin Taxt she knew was not all trustworthy, but apparently Brianna had to deal with him on her own now. It could be ok though.....not even a hardhead like Cerpin could resist a woman all the way...or could he?
The lost soul of Rahvin got through..very faint .....why of course he would be upset about Telinaīs fate.....now then he didnīt know the true Telina.....īpoor boy! He had no idea who she really was!
Serene thought about 'Haldin......and the promise she gave Telina.....so she sat down beside the road......in lotus-position and focused......she managed to shut out the world..oddly enough
"Haldin.......Haldin"
Brianna
"Ok so weīre gonna run off? just like that? But I canīt leave Telina.....I gotta give her mental support if nothing else!...No I wonīt leave!"
Flint Ironwood, a bit away from the rest.
Flint looked over his shoulder. Every one seemed to be rather unwilling to leave.
,,Aargh! Don't be so bloody stubborn. She wanted to do this on her own, so let her. If she wins, she'll catch up with us. If he wins, he'll come straight for us. Just run and worry about the details later!"
Flint stopped. If they wouldn't come, he might have to force them. Now how would he be able to do that? They could all probably beat him without trying.
Telina
Telina, watched as he gripped her hand, ready to say a touch spell, as by mere instinct she chanted, "indviga isaris", the powerful frost spell(also on touch), bit into his hand, just as she felt the burninf spell, engulfed her body. She screamed, and fell to the ground, twitching, and suddenly she launched out with her secret boot dagger, against Verics lower leg(the right leg).
EDIT:DarkHunter...keep Arygon out of this...even a thief knows that a duel is a duel...no one stepps into a fight like this, when only two persons are fighting.
Cerpin
Cerpin took down the mental shield to communicate with Serene.
You have to convince everyone to leave; we have no chance here. I'm not so sure Rahvin has the authority in this group to do any such thing.
Hecate
Hecate loved Telina's last move, it was a tactic he'd used before. Falling dead and then launching a strike, his strikes usually went for the neck thought - not the leg.
Hecate reached for his ring, he slowly took it off...
You know Telina won't win this fight, the Breton is too strong... He thought as he looked over at Serene sitting not far away from the fight.
Telina, deep compassion.
Telina watched in horror as the blade decended, suddenly is was as though everything went by her eyes, she closed her eyes, felt the blade decend into her stomach, through her right ribs, and the blood splurted out.
She screamed in agony, she managed to send a last message to Serene and Brianna..."RUN", and then everything was black, and the great Telina Delvanni was lost to the world...
OOC. Of course, she have just passed out...but Brianna and Co dont know that.
Arygon dived, blade swinging in flashing sweeps of his arm as he ran, into Veric. "You... Dirty... Fetcher!" Arygon yelled at the man as he stabbed forward in an extending arch, passing just over the head of collasping Telina. "You Will PAY!" Arygon's blade extended, it was now the same length as the long-sword, having grown from almost dagger size.
OOC: Sorry for the confusion...
Flint Ironwood. you know where
Flint tapped his feet on the ground impatiently.
,,Finally."
He then saw Telina go down.
,,And not a moment too soon."
,,Alright, get running!" He shouted but waited himself. Arygon had just lunged at the man who killed Telina.
,,I'm so going to regret this." He thought as he cast a speed spell on himself and dashed towards the thief with the plan of grabbing him and jumping to safety.
(Now it is your choice if you want Flint to rescue Arygon. As for Flint rushing back, I simply assume that he was out of range of Serene's command-humanoid spell. He had been running ahead after all.)
posting after minque edits or reposts... whatever
Serene
As Telina fell, severely bleeding, her last message "RUN" went through her brain like a flaming arrow of pain......looking at Brianna she noticed the same thing affected her daughter....in wordless understanding the women communicated....with one exception......
Serene had her own theory....about this thing, but didnīt even think about it.....
"yes Telina..weīre off"
Brianna
"Why did she have to die?" Brianna clung to Cerpinīs arm......trying hhard not to cry....somehow she thought Cerpin wouldnīt like that weakness .....
Hecate
Hecate watched as Veric stabbed his blade into the stomach off Telina, it was a deadly blow, but not for sure. He watched how the blood made it's way rapidly out of her wound, giving off a terrible shriek before it all stopped.
You can simply give the half-breed to us, if not, then this group will slowly disintegrate until no one can stand in our way Serene...
With that in thought, he didn't know the the half-breed Brianna was Serene's daughter, he had only heard of Leni.
