Chorrol.com _ Role-playing _ A Forgotten Khajiit-Playground 1

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 10:01 AM

Alright, here is the playground. This is where the big stuff plays. I'll get started.

Zarador, Elsweyr/Cyrodiil border.

,,What? You're saying that you don't have a library? What is this dump? Be gratefull that my supreme knowledge of the art of destruction would be completely wasted on the likes of you. However, I still need to test out Centurion over here." The Wizard said in a threatening tone. He pointed with a tumb at the massive suit of Dwemer armour standing behind him.

The Khajiit looked up at the machine and swallowed. He barely reached up to the thing's chest.
,,There is a large library in Cyrodiil. Perhaps annoying Aldmer should look over there."

The Aldmer frowned.
,,Annoying Aldmer? You call Zarador, master of the supernatural an annoying Aldmer?" He whispered and pointed a finger at the Khajiit. The Khajiit grabbed his burning tail and ran off.
,,Totally worth it. Now Centurion, let's get going. Follow me. We're headed towards Cyrodiil."

I can't believe I made one right when you did. -_-

Can you delete mine please?

Anyways....

Jo'puma, back at the library in the Imperial City, pours a cup of coffee. "Where is everybody?" Jo'puma says, as he takes a sip of coffee. "They should be here soon." says Casamir Donat. "Is that deadroth still coming?". "Yes". Jo'puma shudders.

let the fun begin

mabolg, in the imperial city

"arent you a strong one, dear boy?" the blind high elf elder woman said as she squeezed his arm. mabolg let out a low growl and the woman backed awaytowards the door. "right this way, please..." she said and let him through. mobolg lowered his head and stepped through the human sized door. his feet felt unpleasantly cold on the stone floor of the library. he raised his head and looked around. a khajiit and another man sat in chairs looking relaxed.

T'jirra, in the imperial city

T'jirra peeked around the door. an old woman muttering to herself in a chair was the only occupant, and she seemed to take no notice of him. twilight fell through the windows and gave T'jirra some shadows to work with. the door was ajar, so he skirted the wall and entered the room. there sat a khajiit, a man he couldnt see, and on the floor, a large musclebound argonian...thing...that looked like it came straight out of oblivion.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 10:41 AM

Zarador/ getting impatient. (We don't want to keep everyone waiting.) smile.gif

Zarador stopped in the middle of the dusty road and ignored the complaints coming from the wagon behind him.
,,This won't do. We'll be walking for days." He said and snapped his fingers.
,,Alright. Centurion, grab my shoulder....Not so hard! Loosely, will you? I still need my shoulder. Now let's concentrate. The power of the emperor resonates with my being. Using the right spell, I can use it as a mark for my recall spell. Hmm, I'll knock off a few metres so I don't land in the throne room. Alright, here we go!" There was a bright flash and the Aldmer and his Centurion vanished.

In the city, he asked for directions towards the library and arrived soon enough.
He straightened his hat while looking at the door.
,,Alright, first impressions are important. Centurion, just follow me but don't say or touch a thing. Got that? And don't use the flamethrower please. There are books in there." He walked in.

,,Greetings, noble scholars. I, Zarador would wish to humbly learn of the divine knowledge hidden inside your books."

Andareth, the Library in the Imperial City

Andareth slowly entered a chamber in which five other men sat. At a first glance they appeared as men, yet as Andareth got closer he could see that they were actually 2 Khajitii, an Altmer, a Breton and an Argonian-esque...creature. It could have been one of those weird strains of Argonians that lived deep in the swamps. Andareth had heard of them when he was in Morrowind, he had even received a proposal to go hunting for some, but fearing the dangerous swamps, he refused.

"Just my luck, 2 Khajiit, an Altmer and an Argonian. Well, let's just hope this job pays well, I didn't come all the way from the Gold Coast just to meet some animals, a tall elf and a lizard." Andareth scoffed to himself. He was just like any Dunmer, proud of his heritage...and rather cocky.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 17 2006, 10:49 AM

mabolg

"RAAAHGGGRRR!!" mabolg spun to see who had just called him a lizard. it was a dark elf, and not far behind him, a high elf with some sort of bronze machine trailing him. mabolg stretched out his arms and shook his head as he let out a groundshaking roar

T'jirra

t'jirra looked up from his book. two mer, one an altmer and one a dunmer were entering the room not far apart from eachother. T'jirra still didnt know what he was here for, but he was told his skills would come in handy.

OOC: whos playing casamir?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 10:55 AM

Jo'puma looks at Mabolg unpleasently. He slowly raises his cup to his mouth, staring at the big brute. "...Well...whats knew with you?" Mabolg barks. Jo'puma drops his cup. Casamir gets up from his chair, and taps his cup with a spoon to get everyones attention. "Now I have gathered you all here to talk about a great threat that lies in Elsweyr. There is a man of great evil that is planning to crush Elweyr. We can not let that happen. That is why I have summoned you here. To help us defeate this threat. I will pay you well for your quest, I'll even give you a little tast of what to expect of the upcoming payments." Casamir goes around the room giving everyone 500 gold. "We leave in half an hour. When you are ready, meet me by Chestnut Handy Stables. There will be a cart there." Casamir leaves the library.

Edit: Casamir is an NPC. laugh.gif

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 17 2006, 11:00 AM

mabolg, confused

mabolg took the gold in his hands and mulled over the man's words.having no use for gold, as many merchants wouldnt talk to him, he entertained himself by bouncing the septims off of the large shiny thing that followed the altmer.

T'jirra

"T'jirra has heard of this, had a feeling one such as this man may need his talents..." T'jirra said proudly.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 11:02 AM

Zarador, Library.

The creature led out a deafening roar. Zarador took a step back.
,,You, abomination from Oblivion with foul breath. I shall banish thee back to the shadows!" He shouted and raised his hands.
,,Centurion, watch the others." He whispered.

,,Now, I shall call forth the great forces of Destruction! Prepare to face my wrath!" A spark of lightning arced across his fingers and began to grow in intensity as it was prepared to be unleashed.

Then, one of the other beings in the room grabbed his attention.
,,So he's also hired? Why, I can't possibly imagine the need for this. However, I shall lend you the great aid of my powers if the world is at stake. Mind if I follow you to the stables? I am afraid that the roads of this city are a mystery for me." He said politely and the spark in his hands dissappeared.
,,Centurion, just follow me as you've been doing all this time."

Centurion, Library.

Centurion said nothing and simply stood there. Zarador took the machine's payment. Centurion looked down when something bounced of its chestplate. After concluding that it wasn't a threat, the machine looked straight ahead once more.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 17 2006, 11:03 AM

Andareth

Andareth listened to the Breton with visible boredom in his eyes, until he heard about the payment. 500 drakes just for agreeing to go on this expedition, plus what they would receive for a job well done. Andareth's eyes sparked just thinking about it. He didn't even take the angry Argonian into account. He suddenly stood up from his chair and drew his blade.
"You have my loyalty, and my blade!"

What money does to a person....

OOC: I'm off to eat something. I'll be back!

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 17 2006, 11:08 AM

mabolg

mabolg had tuned out the golden skinned creature's mumblings, and decided to follow the breton to the stables, as he was also new to this city.

T'jirra

"T'jirra goes with the magic one and his pet" said T'jirra as he downed the last of his coffee. pausing only to pick up what coins remained from the lizard's game.

the bridge out of the city to the stables was dark, so T'jirra decided to work on his stealth, walking silently along the sides o the road, knowing full well everybody could see him.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 17 2006, 11:12 AM

Andareth

Seeing that everybody started following the Breton one way or another, Andareth decided to do something different and take a shortcut to the stables. All the years in which he had lived outside Morrowind had acustomed him with the Imperial Province greatly. He knew the Imperial City reasonably well, even though his bussiness rarely made him leave the docks in the Waterfront.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 11:16 AM

Jo'puma ammediatly went to the Stables, for he was excited to see his home again. He was the first one to get into the cart. While waiting on the others, Jo'puma got out a book and started to read it. Casamir got in the cart, next to Jo'puma. "Is it okay if I take a look at your arm?" said Casamir. Jo'puma put down the book. "Go ahead." Casamir got closer and held his Dwemer arm. "Fascenating...how did you lose your arm?". "In the Arena."

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 17 2006, 11:20 AM

Andareth

Andareth arrived almost at the same time with the other at the stables. There he found a medium sized cart. "I'm going to have to sit there for almost a day, together with an Altmer, a Breton, 2 Khajitii, an Argonian and some kind of robotic creature? It's going to get awfully crowded, the drakes are starting to fade away right now. I hope this will be worth the effort." Andareth scoffed as he envisioned himself sitting between some furry Khajit and a big Argonian with bad breath. He already knew that the road would be hard, this just made it harder.

OOC: I'm going to have to go and read a book soon. It's my duty to my parents you see.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 17 2006, 11:22 AM

T'jirra
moving stealthily had cost him distance, and he hurried to the stable where the others awaited. T'jirra hopped in the seat behind the first two and watched the lizard as he trudged his way down the bridge.
when that bored him, he perked up his ears and listened to the first two. "in the arena." T'jirra heard the khajiit say tothe breton.

mabolg

mabolg walked beside the bronze automation and thought about why he could be here. no one ever wanted anything of him, so why now? he had only heard of the situation in elsweyr from scattered black horse couriers.

OOC: should i keep this guy?

and when griff leaves, lets just have his character stay quiet and grumpy

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 11:27 AM

(Yeah, Mabolg can be damn funny. Keep him! smile.gif )

Zarador/stables.

,,Ah, the comfort of riding on wheels. Don't worry about room. Centurion here is fast enough to keep up by walking. He also doesn't tire. Quite impressive, don't you think?"

Zarador sat down, closed his eyes and began to sleep.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 11:29 AM

"Please tell me more about it" said Casamir. "Well, I was the rank of a Blood Letter, and my next match was with a Redguard. We fought for a while then he rushed at me at full speed, and I barely blocked his attack, and while I was recovering from the attack, he went and sliced my hand off. When I fell on my knees, he was about to decaputate me, when I quickly pulled out my shortsword and got him right in the stomache".

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 17 2006, 11:31 AM

i shall then.

T'jirra:

"so, gladiator, where in elsweyr do you come from?" T'jirra inquired, interrupting the conversation.

mabolg:

mabolg sat himself down as far as he could from the others, making the cart creak under his weight.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 17 2006, 11:31 AM

Andareth

Andareth scurried up the cart quickly, trying to take the place next to the Altmer. Before he could scurry into his desired position the Khajiit who tried to be stealthy jumped into the place he desired. That left Andareth sitting next to the Argonian. Just his luck. It would be a long journey.

OOC: I'm off to read, I'll be back later. Good luck with the trip. And I agree with my character being grumpy and quiet.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 17 2006, 11:33 AM

see you later, griff, thanks for joining!

QUOTE(DungeonHunter @ Aug 17 2006, 05:31 AM) *

T'jirra:

"so, gladiator, where in elsweyr do you come from?" T'jirra inquired, interrupting the conversation.

"I was born in Senchal." said Jo'puma. Jo'puma got back to his book. He was reading "The Real Bahrenziah". He was on chapter 3. [For several days, Barenziah felt a weight of sorrow at her separation from her friends. But by the second week out her spirits began to rise a little. She found that she enjoyed being on the road again, although she missed Straw's companionship more than she would have thought.] Jo'puma flips the page.

T'jirra

"this one comes from *ooc: *checks collecters edition book* dune, to the west."

mabolg

mabolg glanced sideways at the dunmer and then looked back out of the cart. they had just begun to get moving, and were headed south. why have you sought me, cCasamir ?" he said in his raspy throaty voice.

OOC: i have to go soon, its almost 6 a.m., sorry

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 11:58 AM

I'm too tired to continue. I'll get back to it later today. bye.

Andareth, next to Mabolg in the cart

Andareth stood idly as the cart bounced because of the poor conditions of the road. He thought of the journey ahead, and if it was really a wise decision to embark on such a journey with little notice. A threat rising in Elsweyr? That could mean anything from a renegade faction of Khajitii to a ruthless group of Skooma dealers. The latter could provide a bussiness oportunity for Andareth though.

"Better leave bussiness speculation for later, best see what this threat is all about." Andareth mumbled to himself.

Andareth had gotten used to the Argonian's foul breath by now. Breathing using one's mouth was the best course of action in this kind of situation. It made Andareth a little upset that he couldn't talk too much to the creature sitting next to him. The Argonian didn't talk very much, prefering to keep silent, excepting of course the ocasional growls and mumbles.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 04:25 PM

Jo'puma

Jo'puma finished reading his book, and was wondering how much longer the ride would be. He looked out the window and saw that it was starting to get dry and there was less grass. He heard a sound up ahead that everyone else was just as much aware about. He got up from his seat. "Mauradors, up ahead!". Jo'puma got out his staff and jumped out of the cart.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 04:55 PM

Zarador, on the cart.

Zarador opened one eye when the shout awoke him. He instantly noticed the people who were blocking the road up ahead. He also noticed that Jo'puma jumped off the cart.
,,I take it that these people do not wish to be coöperative? Very well." He mumbled, took his staff and stepped off the cart. He carefully smoothed out his beard before raising his free hand.
,,Stand back, vile scum of society! Though your frail flesh is easily burned by a simple spell, I shall strike you down with much greater power than you can even comprehend. Stand back or face your doom!" He shouted and a spark of lightning grew in his hand.

(Just a question. Do these marauders have a spellcaster? It would be fun to see two mages blast at will. biggrin.gif )

Centurion, behind the cart.

Centurion saw the Marauders but he didn't react. He didn't realize the threat.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 05:14 PM

Maurador group:

Worriors: 7

Heavy Worriors: 3

Archers: 4

Spellcasters: 2

Jo'puma quickly summons a wolf to his side, then casts a protective spell on himself and Zarador. He then rushes to attack a worrior. The wolf tackles an archer that was about to shoot Zarador. Jo'puma slays the worrior, then goes in for the next one. Another worrior comes in behind him.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 05:30 PM

Zarador, time to bring out the big guns.

Zarador smiles.
,,So, you have chosen. Then face the consequences!" Lightning shoots from his hand and engulfs one of the spellcasters. He aims for the next spellcaster when he notices that his Khajiit companion is in trouble. The Aldmer changed his aim and shot another bolt of lightning at the feet of the warrior who was about to jump on the Khajiit's back. He stumbles and is forced to drop his weapon, but he survived and now intended to strike Jo'puma with his bare hands.

,,Khajiit, behind you!" Zarador shouts. He couldn't help himself for his attention was focussed on the remaining spellcaster. Destructive spells shot forth and met in the center, erupting with a deafening bang that left a blackened crater.
,,So, your mastery of Destruction is quite advanced. Unfortunately, it will be your mastery that shall spell your doom!"

The Aldmer stopped his spellcasting and gripped his staff with both hands. A fireball approached and struck. A blinding flash erupted in front of the Aldmer and the fireball shot off again, back towards the spellcaster.
Zarador observed the smoking corpse that remained.
,,Well, in the end there are several methods to take down a spellcaster."

Centurion

A warrior approached the Dwemer machine and struck. Centurion looked at the small dent caused by the man's mace. Without a word, Centurion raised its fist and smacked the warrior into the air. The flamethrower was aimed and a single fireball was launched. The warrior was death before he hit the ground.

(I'll leave the rest up to you guys. smile.gif )

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 05:53 PM

Worriors: 5

Heavy Worriors: 2

Archers: 3

Spell Casters: 0

Jo'puma cuts the worriors belly, and turns around to get the one behind him, but the worrior punches Jo'puma right in the face. He falls down from the blow, droping his shortsword. The worrior was about to jump on Jo'puma, but he quickly rolled over. He then got up an got into hand-to-hand combat with him. Jo'puma scratches the worriors face, then kicks him in the chest. An archer takes out his dagger and jumps on Jo'puma. He then tries to stick the dagger in his heart, but Jo'puma is holding his arm back, barely.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 17 2006, 06:47 PM

Andareth

Suddenly a steel sword hacks the archer's arm of completely. It was Andareth. The shout had attracted his atention. He welcomed some new activity because of the boredom caused by the journey with the cart but he did not expect a large party of heavily armed Marauders. Andareth hated Marauders, they were bad for bussiness and for many other things.

After Andareth choped off the archer's arm he gave a quick arm to Jo'Puma as he raised his blade to attack another Marauder. A heavily armoured warrior was standing besides him. Andareth brought his blade down thunderously yet the Marauder managed to parry the strike by holding his blade horizontally. The Marauder's move however, gave Andareth a chance to use one of his favoured moves, and he took it without hesitation. He kicked the Marauder hard in the crotch region. The Marauder fell down because of the pain, and Andareth made sure he never got up.

Andareth then turned his sights to the other remaining Marauders.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 06:51 PM

Zarador, bored.

Zarador yawned and took out the remaining archers with some quick well-aimed lighting bolts.
,,I think I'll continue my sleep. Have fun with the rats who are still moving." He said, got back on the cart and fell asleep once more.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 07:09 PM

Jo'puma/ Andareth

Jo'puma picked up his blade and charged another maurador and killed him instantly, for his attention was on Andareth. There was now only three mauradors left. Andareth glared at the remaining maraudors. They then retreated in fright. Now that the maraudors are taken care of, they clear the roadblock and get back in the cart and continue on there way.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 17 2006, 08:48 PM

Andareth, somewhat proud of the victory

"If the "threat" brewing in Elsweyr is as bad as those cowardly scum, we could all be free of our much "enjoyed" companionship and be on our merry way in less than 10 days. By the way, regarding the threat in Elsweyr, what can you tell us about it Breton? I've been thinking about it ever since we left the city. If it's about a few furry Skoomies forming some sort of rag-tag group of rebels I don't know why you called me here. I'm sure the wizard with his pet could solve it all by themselves if that were the case. A few magickal sparks and the Skoomies would start imagining dragons and that would be the end of it! Of course, the problem could be much worse if we aren't talking about Skooma dependant Khajitii." Andareth said, somewhat making fun of the others as he did so. Like all Dunmer, he never missed a chance of showing his "superiority" when it came to other races.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 09:02 PM

Jo'puma, annoyed.

Jo'puma leans over and whispers in Casamir's ear. "He is very rude". "Hes a Dark Elf, what more do you expect from him?". Jo'puma leaned back over to his side. "I can not tell you more about the threat, because I was not told that much. When we get there we will talk to the Mane". They finally entered Elsweyr. "Gentlemen, welcome to Elsweyr." said Casamir, as they crossed the border. It took half an hour to reach the city. When they finally got to the hotel, Jo'puma jumped out of the cart in excitement. "Its good to see Elsweyr again." he said.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 17 2006, 09:09 PM

Zarador, insulted.

The wizard opened his eyes and glanced at Andareth.
,,I suggest you show some respect for my chosen profession or I will have to test your theory regarding my 'sparks' and the imagining of dragons. With YOU as the target."
He then turned his attention towards the Khajiit.
,,May I ask who or what the Mane is? The title of a scholar perhaps?"

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 17 2006, 11:01 PM

The Mane

"Why, the Mane is the ruler of the khajiit. A spiritual leader, he is. He wares the manes of other khajiits." "That he is." said Casamir as he jumped off the cart. "We have a meeting with him, but lets check out our room first."

Ma'jeen Inn

Jo'puma and Casamir enter the hotel to see a young khajiit woman behind a desk. "Welcome to Ma'jeen Inn! I'm Ma'jeen. If you would like a room, theres five avaliable. If you would like some drinks, we have a large supply of Sujamma and Skooma." "No thanks, we just need the five rooms." says Casamir. "Okay then, there all on the second floor. Heres the key to the rooms. That will be 100 gold." Casamir gives the khajiit 100 gold coins. "But theres six of us! We only have five rooms!" exclames Jo'puma. "Well, one of us are going to have to share a room."

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 04:34 AM

t'jirra

"one minute, t'jirra would like some sujamma to help the sleep come easier. here is 10 gold" he said as the barmaid handed him the earthenware jug. "the mane..." t'jirra pondered as he took a few swigs of his sujamma. "the mane would like our help with this threat to elsweyr? hope it pays well."

mabolg, confused

mabolg had been quiet ever since they fought the marauders. could they have been sent to stop the little party of adventurers? he put the question out of his mind and instead hoped he wouldnt have to share a room with the stuck up criminal dunmer.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 05:09 AM

Skooma

Jo'puma went up to the barmaid. "Um...I would like...a bottle of skooma....please..." said Jo'puma quitely, making sure know one was looking. "Here you go." Jo'puma gives her 30 gold and puts the skooma in his robe. He went back over to the others to see that they were fighting over who should sleep with who.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 05:24 AM

t'jirra

t'jirra, being the ever perceptive one, despite his sujamma induced stupor, caught jo'puma out of the corner of his eye, but said nothing

mabolg

mabolg stormed up the stairs and claimed a bed for his own, hoping to avoid the dunmer.

OOC: what time is it?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 05:33 AM

Its time to go on a Role-Playing Spree! (11:28 in Central Time)

Bed Time

Jo'puma Went up stairs to the second room, closed the door, and poured a small cup of Skooma. He then took a sip. "Ahhhh...." Jo'puma drank what was left in the cup, then started drinking from the bottle. When it was empty, he got ready for bed. He took off his staff and his shortsword, his shoes, his gloves, his robe, then his robotic arm, then got into bed.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 05:37 AM

ah im in central time too!

t'jirra

t'jirra downed the last of his sujamma and climbed the stairs to the second floor. everybody else had gone up already, so he had to share someones room. he knocked on the first door he saw...

mabolg

closing his eyes, and being thankful for the peace and quiet, mabolg drifted off to sleep. he knew tomorrow would be exciting and wondered where they would go.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 06:05 AM

Not Yet Sleep

Jo'puma got up to see who was knocking. Right when he opened the door T'jiira jumped back a little because Jo'puma didn't have his arm on. "What the hell do you want?" growled Jo'puma (Tired+Skomma=Cranky). "I think I have to share a room with you..." Jo'puma let him in. They had to share the same bed. They put there pillows between each other. "Good night." said T'jiira. "Shut up."

Casamir

Casamir was still up. He was thinking about tommorow. 'What will happen? Will they suxseed, or will they fail?' He thought to himself. He decided he didn't want to go to bed, and decided to go take a walk. As he went downstairs, he saw the hotel keeper drinking a bottle of Skomma. She was on her second one. She didn't even notice Casamir, because she was so waisted. He went outside and started to take his walk.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 06:11 AM

t'jirra

t'jirra knew how jo'puma felt, he was no stranger to skooma.
suddenly he heard a noise from downstairs. he jumped up to the window to see if maybe the barmaid was lockong up the inn for the night. but it was casamir. he strolled at a leisurley pace down the street.
"night" t'jirra said with a glance back at the armless jo'puma. he opened the window when casamir was down the street a half block and climbed out onto the roof.

Andareth, alone in his room

Andareth took off his rather worn armour, and his old leather scabbard in which he kept his sword. His dagger however, he decided to keep since you never know what might attack you in the night when you're in Elsweyr. Andareth laid down in bed and quietly prepared to sleep. The road, and constant banter with his companions, had tired him.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 06:25 AM

Casamir

Casamir stopped walking for a second because he thought he heard a noise. He then though it was a rat, and continued to go down the road. He stopped at the Black Smith shop, then turned around and headed back for the hotel. A short walk, indeed.

A Dream

Jo'puma was talking in his sleep. He was dreaming about the Arena.

Dream:

'The redguard goes in for a rush attack, he blocks! But wait-ohh! Sliced off his arm-'

Real Life:

"AAARRRGGGHH!!!" Jo'puma screamed as he woke up. He was sweating. He looked over and didn't see T'jiira. He then looked at the window, wide open.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 06:30 AM

t'jirra

t'jirra paused crouching on the roof of a building down the street when casamir looked up. after a second he continued and entered a blacksmith shop. a few minutes passed and he emerged, though t'jirra could not discern what he had been doing in there. t'jirra hopped alog the roofs back to the inn and waited till casamir entered once more. he then swung back in the window and landed with one frot paw on the ground, to see jo'puma looking panicked. he rushed over and asked what had happened.

Andareth, alarmed by the scream

Andareth woke up from his sleep and grabbed his dagger. He slowly got off his bed, trying not to make any noise. He then went out of his room, to the corridor which enabled entrance to all their rooms. He crept to the place where he heard the scream coming from, the room of the two Khajitii. He kicked the door open only to see the Khajiit with the strange arm sitting on the bed with a rather sad look and the sneaky Khajiit standing near the window. He couldn't see anything amiss so he wished them all goodnight and made his way back to his own room.

OOC: that would look amiss to me lol

QUOTE(DungeonHunter @ Aug 18 2006, 12:30 AM) *

he rushed over and asked what had happened.

"It...it was nothing...I had a bad dream, thats all..." Jo'puma went back to sleep.

Casamir entered the hotel again, to see the hotel keeper pased out. He then went upstairs to his room, and went to bed.

.......The next day........

Jo'puma woke up, put his things back on, and went downstairs. "Goodmorning!" said Casamir and the Hotel Keeper at the same time. "Whats for breakfast?" said Jo'puma, as he sat down. "Sweetcakes, apples, bread, and carrots!" Jo'puma got Two carrots, an apple and a sweetcake. Casamir had two apples and two carrots. "Today we go to see the Mane" said Casamir, as he took a bite of an apple. "I would be honored to see him".

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 06:52 AM

t'jirra

t'jirra bounded happilly down the stairs as the smell of sweetcakes wafted through his nose. "sweetcakes! so we really ARE home!" he exclaimed as he grabbed two for himself and a couple carotts to improve his night vision.

mabolg

mabolg rolled over in bed and lurched down the stairs. he was hungry after the trip. he snatched up 4 or five apples and three sweetcakes and gobbled them down within a minute. "so can we fight today?" he growled through his food.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 07:01 AM

"After we speak to the Mane, then we might be able to fight." said Casamir. Jo'puma, Casamir, T'jiira and Mabolg finished there breakfast. "I will go wake up Andareth and Zarador." said Jo'puma, as he headed upstairs.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 07:02 AM

Andareth, going downstairs to eat after being waked up

"Let's see what they have here...Hm, apples, sweetcakes and carrots. Some scrib jerky stew mixed with some fine grilled Nix hound flesh would have been good now, but I'm not in Morrowind sadly. Don't you have any meat here?" Andareth asked in a rather grumpy tone.

OOC: Sorry for not asking what happened, but he didn't see anything alarming. Besides, he was rather embarassed that he kicked the door open like some idiot and he wanted to get away as fast as possible. Anyway, good thing you backed up for me DungeonHunter.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:06 AM

t'jirra

t'jirra decided not to have his skooma today, as he wanted to make a good impression for the mane. "no meat in the desert. no scribs, no nix hounds." he replied to andareth.

mabolg

mabolg sat in the the chair near the fireplace (in the desert?) and wondered what the mane would ask of him.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 07:11 AM

Off Topic:I was going to do Jack's character for him, because he isn't on right now, but I can not do it well. I can not think like Jack, a can not do Zarador's personality. If someone can do him, that would be nice, because we need to get to the mane. Or should we wait for him?

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 07:12 AM

Andareth, upset because of the lack of food that he likes

"Very well then, I will have to settle for these...vegetables. A life lived out of Morrowind has acustomed me to foreign food. But I still think about the food in Morrowind. I could never forget the first time I tasted raw Guar meat. It tasted like rubber, but the hunters said that it made it them strong. I never really did like raw Guar meat. Grilled Guar meat, now that's what I like. To change the subject a little, what does this Mane look like?" Andareth asked his companions.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:13 AM

mabolg:

mabolg listened intently, because he had never seen the mane before, and wanted an idea of what he was like.

OOC: mmm... lets just take awhile to get to the mane, and if he isnt on then we can do his part minimally.

zarador is kind of a fun guy who would want to make a good impression for the mane, however he can be stuck up a little. as for centurion...i dunno lol

QUOTE(Agent Griff @ Aug 18 2006, 01:12 AM) *

what does this Mane look like?

"Well, he is not like other khajiits. He has a long mustatche (OOC(Ones that chines people have, lol)OOC), his fur is light grey, and his eyes are gold. He is an old man, 46, in fact. For clothing, he wears the manes of other khajiits around his neck, and wears a bright green robe." said Casamir.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 07:21 AM

[b][u]Andareth, listening[u][b]

"He wears the manes of other Khajitii? Like a hunter? If that's the case, I have to confess that I, and a few of my friends, liked to play "Mane" when we were little. Of course, the fur of the slave Khajitii grew back again...eventually." Andareth said, remembering his childhood.

OOC:Ok then, it's settled. We wait for Jack and then we resume the RP. The only problem is that I'm leaving for the mountains today and I may be gone for a few days. I'm sure someone can stand in for Andareth though, his personality is not that hard to emulate.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:23 AM

t'jirra

"t'jirra hears talk that the mane's local legion could not root out this sorcerer." t'jirra said, ignoring the dunmer. drawing on the gossip he had heard before leaving for this mission.

mabolg

mabolg is waiting to leave

OOC: woot! page 4 and 3!

OOC: so when should we stop? like standing outside the mane's place?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 07:26 AM

I believe we stop until Jack logs in. When does he usualy log in?

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:29 AM

mmm lets review his posts.

edit: oooh i dont know what time zone hes in...but i'll usually be on around 11 pm my time.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 07:29 AM

Well he lives in Holland, and I think that's a few hours behind my time. I mean, I live in Romania and it's 9:29 AM here. What's the time in America?

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:31 AM

1:37 a.m. in the midwest biggrin.gif

BTW: you have good english

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 07:31 AM

Here in the Central Area of America its 1:31 AM.

We both posted at the same time....Ironic? blink.gif

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:32 AM

haha yeah

what state are you in?

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 07:34 AM

1:37 AM, that means that you're one hour past Midnight right? Well, Holland is a few hours behind Romania, so that means that Jack is sleeping right now. Let's give him some time to wake up.

And thanks for the compliment with the English, I've been told that before. Who said Cartoon Network is bad?

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:35 AM

sure. i'll just check the forum occasionally.

unfortunately, i'll have to be getting to sleep in maybe like 3 hours, sorry.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 07:42 AM

Indiana, the lower part, witch means I'm right at the edge of the time zone.

Maybe I should sing a song......*ahem*....

'Oh weak up dear Jack, my friend, we want to play this Role Play Game. If you-do not wake-I don't know- what I'll do. My dear Jack, we need you, we want to play this Role Play. We want-to get to-the mane-of Elsweyr. NOOOOO!!! Please don't sleep Jack, my friend.'

Yeah, its not working. sad.gif

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:45 AM

oh well damn. maybe if griff shouts really loud, jack could hear him.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 07:47 AM

If we've still got some time, I'll make use of it. Can we have something like a rule to make the roleplaying easier? I've been thinking, it would be much easier if we try to post in an orderly manner. I mean, if one sees that no one is posting, that one should post. When we see that someone's posting we should let them post. It prevents mix-ups, like me writting that post with the food while GunsnArmor was going to call my character. What do you think?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 07:48 AM

Sure, sounds good. But I doubt I will remember it. huh.gif

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 07:50 AM

I don't know, I just feel awkward when I see that something's been posted as I was posting. I don't like feeling awkward, it's almost like feeling embarassed.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:51 AM

yeah i'll keep it in mind.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 08:48 AM

well, im gonna go now. i'll probably be on tonight at like 10:00 central time and i wanna be in the battle!

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 09:23 AM

Alright, I'm on. Let's get this show on the road.

Zarador, Just up.

Zarador came down the stairs with a loaf of bread in his hand. The Dwemer machine remained at the top of the stairs.
,,Oh come on. Just get moving down the stairs, now!" The wizard ordered. Centurion took a step, and fell down the stairs, damaging it heavily in the process. Zarador shook his head.
,,You idiot! Why can't you even walk down stairs?" He turned to owner of the inn.
,,I apologize for the inconvenience my companion has caused. Maybe this diamont here can pay for the damage?"

,,Now, I'm sorry that I'm so late. My meditation took longer than expected and Centurion here...isn't the brghtest I'm afraid. I had to stop him from bashing in the door. One day I'll get around to teach him how to open doors without destroying them." He finished his bread and walked over towards the door.
,,Now, shall we be going? The sooner we arrive, the sooner we shall all be on our way."

Centurion, on its face.

Centurion didn't say a thing, as usual. It got up and walked out of the door, after its master.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 18 2006, 11:21 AM

Andareth, following Zarador

"I agree with the High Elf, we better get going. Perhaps that Mane fellow has meat at his residence. He is a spiritual "leader" of the Khajiitii." Andareth said as he got up from his seat at the table.

Andareth was pretty upset when he heard that there wasn't any meat in the desert. It annoyed Andareth greatly that people could smuggle just about anything in this town, from Skooma to weapons, but they couldn't smuggle fine food.

"Perhaps I could help them in this department. Best leave it for later." Andareth mumbled to himself. Andareth always a habbit of talking to himself. When he was asked why, he responded sarcastically "so fools have something to think about." but in reality, he though no one was worthy of talking to him about his ideas. Perhaps his concept could change with the coming journey. Andareth had potential friends in his companions, he was just to proud to see it.

OOC: I'm going to have to leave to the mountains soon. It was nice playing thus far, I hope we can resume when I return.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 02:11 PM

t'jirra

t'jirra followed the elves out the door, when something came to mind. "how far is the mane from this place?" he asked.

mabolg

mabolg grabbed another sweetcake and got ready to leave.

OOC: for how long?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 05:46 PM

OOC: I'm sorry I bailed on you guys last night. I was too tired to continue.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 05:49 PM

thats ok. i should be able to play around 11 tonight maybe 11:30, central time.

The Mane

They left the hotel to go to see the Mane. His Palace was in the same city, so it wouldn't take long to get there. When they got there, there were two khajiits guarding the entrance to the Palace. They wore green armour and chainmail, and they were equiped with spears. "Who dare comes to enter the Palace of the great Mane?" ordered the guard. "I am Casamir Donat, and these are the heros. I was ordered by the great Mane to bringe them here." The guards let them in. When they entered, they saw the Mane, in his royal seat, being fanned by two khajiit servants. He looked excactly like what Jo'puma had described. Casamir bowed down to the Mane. "Your honor, I have returned with the heros." "Excelent." said the Mane, as he got up from his chair. "This is Jo'puma, he is very skilled in magic. This here is T'jiira, he is a stealthy one. This is Zarador and his robot. He is also skilled in magic and is very intelligent. This is Mabolg. He is a very powerful brute. Our final hero, Andareth, is very skilled in combat."

OCC: You may controle the Mane to make him say what you want him to say, because he is an NPC.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 07:46 PM

Zarador

Zarador bowed.
,,It's an honour to meet you. As my friend has said, I am Zarador, master of the supernatural. Centurion and I are at your disposal. Please explain your problem to us. We're all eager to know in which way we can help you." He said in his politest tone possible.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 07:55 PM

T'jirra

T'jirra bowed as well. "great and holy mane, i am humbled by your presence and am at your service. if i may help you at all, tell me how."

mabolg

mabolg said nothing but bowed to the mane.

Jack is logged on! YAY!

The First Quest

"Yes, the troubles with Elswyre.....there is a great man of evil, out there. Cursed by Molag Bal. We believe he is somewhere North East of here. I must warn you, though, he is a powerful Necromancer. He has an army of dark unknown things headed for our city. You are to stop them from doing so. Do this, and you will be rewarded your first reward." He dismissed everyone.

The First Quest: Stopping an Invasion.

We are to go North East to fight off an army of darkness. We don't know how many there are, but we will be given the aid of 200 men.

The heroes head out to the north with their small army.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 08:39 PM

Zarador, giving instructions.

,,Centurion, we're about to fight. When I give the command, you will attack everything that moves and is at least the size of a rat. But whatever you do, make sure you don't harm these soldiers and that bunch of people. They're friends."

The Aldmer gripped his staff tighter.
,,Now we shall see who is the greater master here. This Necromancer, or I. I shall smite his army, this I swear. His minions shall cower in fear as they face my might." He smiled.
,,And the might of my companions of course."

Centurion raised its flamethrower and prepared for battle.

(Yep, I'm on. Downside is, I'm hearing thunder and I might have to shut down my computer to avoid zapping. sad.gif )

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 08:44 PM

t'jirra

the troops marched on foot while the rest of the party rode sanche-tigers out northeast. t'jirra enjoyed the scenery and steeled himself for battle. he has his bow re-strung while in the city and was packing 30 steel arrows in his quiver. he hadnt been in a large scale battl like this before, but wasnt afraid of killing something taht was already dead.

mabolg.

mabolg couldnt wait to tear something apart, he thought as he and the company of 200 marched east. he had dealt with necromancers before... "i will hold off the minions while you get the commanders." he barked to the others.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 08:56 PM

Jo'puma summoned four scamps to his side, then got out his staff. "I can see something..." said Jo'puma, while looking down from the dune. A large area began to turn black. As it got closer, everyone could see it was the undead army. Unfortonitly, they were outnumbered. By 2000. The small army of 200 get there weapons ready. The undead army were split up in groups.

Undead army:

Pikeman: 500

Skirmishers: 500

Archers: 300

Swordmen: 700

Though it seemed imposible to beat them, they still had to stay and fight. When they got to them, they stopped, and the evil ruler appeared. He was darker then ever. His eyes were beaming with rage. He had a deadric long sword and a deadric staff. He had a necromancer robe. "You shall be cast unto Oblivion!" yelled the dark khajiit. The army then charged.

The battle began.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 09:03 PM

mabolg

"been there." mabolg growled under his breath as he dismounted and conjured a one handed daedric axe. he rushed in and kicked 2 of the pikemen in the first line back, then drove his axe in one of their skulls. he felt a blow against his thick reptilian skin, it was the shield of a skirmisher. the axe bounced off the shield, but mabolg aimed a punch into the undead warrior's body. he swung his axe again into the chest and the warrior was down.

T'jirrA

t'jirra stayed on his mount and drew back his bowstring with an arrow ready. the arrow was released and flew straight at an undead. it was a pikeman, and he had no defense, so it killed him instantly. suddenley he heard a shout from the back lines. the undead archers had released a hail of arrows! "watch out!" he yelled to the soldiers.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 09:04 PM

Zarador.

,,Well, now this is so rude. Don't we get a fair fight here? Oh well. Centurion, time to fight."
The Aldmer cast a magical shield on himself and advance forward slowly. Archers would be their greatest threat. You couldn't fight close range if you had to worry about arrows at the same time. He summoned forth lightning and sweeped his hand in a wide arc, letting the lightning carve through the enemy ranks.
,,This might take a bit longer than expected."

He pointed at the nearest captain.
,,You, tell your men to cover me! I am no good at melee combat!"

Centurion.

The Dwemer machine never hesitated. It walked forward into the ranks, firing its flamethrower and swinging its arms. A cloud composed of burning and flying undead revealed his position. Still, the enemy fought back and the mighty machine was soon covered in dents and scratches.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 09:16 PM

getting bad

Jo'puma's scamps shot fireballs at the pikemem. Jo'puma shot lighning bolts at the archers. He then got out his sword and started killing the pikemen. The army of undead minions was so big, that they surounded them, and started moving in on them. The allied army went in to attack them, but were soon cut down, so it was just the characters left. Jo'puma saw the evil khajiit aproatching him, and went in to attack him. He swung, but the attack was blocked. the evil khajiit did a counter attack and sliced off Jo'puma's other arm. "AAARRRRGGGGGGHHHH!" Jo'puma screamed in pain. "Know one can stand against me!" said the evil khajiit. He then pushed Jo'puma on his back, and got ready to stab him in the chest.

OCC: Someone please save me.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 09:21 PM

T'jirra

out of the corner of his eye, t'jirra saw the black khajiit. he readied an arrow and took careful aim. the arrow only tore his necromancer robe, but it was enough to distract him. the evil khajiit looked up and at T'jirra, who was a good 120 feet away (sorry for not using metric)....

mabolg.

mabolg hacked through the enemys, tearing a swathe through their ranks. he suffered some deep cuts to his scales, but feared not because of what malcath had told him about being killed.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 09:26 PM

Zarador, to the rescue!

The Aldmer saw what happened.
,,Do you like a challenge?! Then show me how you respond to this!" He shouted and used telekinesis to rip his sword out of the evil Khajiit's hands. The blade flew through the air and impaled a Pikemen who was about to kill the wizard.
,,You and me, in a contest of the mind. Prepare yourself!"

Zarador waited till the Khajiit had moved away from Jo'Puma before releasing all of his might at his foe. With the Khajiit's mind torn between two foes, he had all the opportunity he needed to unleash his power. Lightning ripped the sky in two and electrocuted any of the undead who had the misfortune of being too close. Yet the Khajiit stood amidst the barrage, unharmed.

Centurion.

Centurion was still fighting, though with a noticeable limp for a lucky swordman had sliced through a knee. The Machine was surrounded by undead. It aimed its flamethrower at the ground and pumped all of its power in one final blast. Fire engulfed Centurion and consumed countless undead who were near. The blackened and scorched machine sank to the ground. It had sustained too much damage to continue fighting.

(No, Centurion is not death. He only has to be reactivated so the repair mechanism can do its job.)

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 09:26 PM

Jo'puma got up and picked his sword up, and went up to the fiend and stabed him the chest. Thought he killed him. But he turned around and punched Jo'puma in the face, and he temporarely was pasted out. He then went up to attack T'jiira. The undead army started geting in even closer, so everyone had to scoot in a little more.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 09:31 PM

Zarador.

,,I hate to dissappoint you people, but I'm afraid I'm out of Magicka." Zarador gripped his staff and stabbed one of the undead in the chest with the glass spiked head. He moved over to Jo'Puma and defended him till he was back on his feet.
,,And Centurion is down too." He didn't try to mask his anger and worry. Worst of all, the Necromancer seemed to not just have nine lives, but ten times as many. He was one tough cat.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 09:41 PM

T'jirra

T'jirra saw the necromancer coming at him. when he was a few feet away, he stabbed his tiger in the side and rolled off. the tiger knocked the black khajiit down, but he shot a ray of darkness at it, making it fall in mid air, dead. T'jirra had not intended this, but what happened, happened. T'jirra unsheathed his elven dagger and charged the sorcerer.

mabolg

mabolg saw his friends in danger and rushed over, leaving the skirmishers behind. no matter how much someone calls you a filthy lizard, you dont know them until you fight along side them. casting a shield spell over himself, he leaped into the air and changed his axe to a shortsword. he lept upon a few swordsmen behind the high elf, crushing one with his weight and force, and stabbed the dagger into where his heart would have been. "we're losing! he shouted."

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 09:48 PM

Zarador.

,,So I noticed. Thank you for your assistance." The Aldmer shouted back at Mabolg. He raised his staff high and crushed the skull of an undead.
,,It appears I've restored enough of my Magicka abilities for a simple spell. I have just the idea which one!"

He raised a hand towards an approaching group of undead and cast the spell. The group changed direction and attacked the undead that were making life difficult for the remains of the Mane's army.
,,I may not be a Necromancer, but I still know how to use undead fiends."

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 18 2006, 09:51 PM

Is it over?

The sorcerer grabed T'jiira before he could even stab him, and threw him at Zarador, knocking him down. Anareth charged the sorcerer and stbed him in the chest, just like Jo'puma, but the Sorcerer had no damage done to him, and pushed Andareth and he fell down near evryone else. Now they were all surounded by undead minions. But they stopped. They didn't go in and kill them. Instead, the evil sorcerer let them go. "Let this be a lesson to you all. You can not defeat the almighty (something). Go now, leave Elsweyr, and never come back! I did not wish to fight you. But if you stay, I will kill you." With that said, so teleported back to his realm, with his army.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 09:54 PM

lol my bad i didnt check what happened to him.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 09:55 PM

Zarador, on the battlefield.

Zarador pushed T'jiira off of him and stood up. He swiped the dust and sand off his robe.
,,Now, such a grand speech wasn't necessary. I'll decide on what to do after we've told the Man about what happened." He knelt down beside Jo'Puma.
,,I am afraid that the only thing I can do for you is to close the wound with fire. Perhaps I can create a second Dwemer arm for you. It might hurt though. Do you want me to do this?"

He surveyed the battlefield while waiting for an answer.
,,I wonder if anyone here is strong enough to carry Centurion back to the city. He's heavily damaged but I believe that I can repair him.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 09:57 PM

mabolg

mabolg volunteered to carry centurion back. "we will be slower on foot, but i can manage." he said as he knelt down to pick up the machine.

t'jirra

t'jirra came to his senses and saw that the necromancer had left. he got up and checked his gear. his bow was broken and his armor had a few scratches, but other than a wicked headache, he had no wounds, because he had been using his bow mostly. "i dont know about you, but i wont see my homeland destroyed. lets go back to the mane." he spoke softly and seriously

"Sure, go ahead." said Jo'puma. He then looked at Mabolg. "Maybe Mabolg could carry the centrion."

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 18 2006, 10:04 PM

OOC: looks like centurion will be needing some "modifications..." hehe

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 10:05 PM

Zarador.

,,Alright. Now hold still." A small fireball burned in the Aldmer's hand. He pressed it against the shoulder. Smoke and the sickening smell of burned flesh filled the air. The stream of blood that was being pumped out at every heartbeat stopped. After a few seconds, he pulled his hand away. Were once an open wound was, now only charred flesh remained. It would leave a nasty scar, but Jo'puma probably wouldn't worry about such things. He'd already lost one arm after all.

,,Can you walk? The sooner we get back to the city, the better. I for one want to leave this cursed place behind." The Wizard got up and looked at the battlefield once more before turning his eyes towards the city.
,,If this was all of the Mane's army, I'm afraid that we shall need to come up with a new plan."

OOC: Yes, maybe he does. How about an Icethrower? Nothing beats punching ice statues into little pieces. biggrin.gif

T'jirra

"the mane must have had good reason to send only 200 in. he has many more, which he needs to keep the peace in these large smuggling citys, so that could not have been all of his men."

mabolg

mabolg picked up centurion on his shoulders and walked back towards the others. "where could he have gone?" he asked in his raspy agronian accent.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 10:13 PM

Zarador, a bit angry.

,,Whether he has many more or not, I will not allow another battle like this. It was nothing but a sore waste of life. Every man we kill can be revived, minus missing parts. Every man he kills will be revived to grow his ranks. No, an army is not the solution to this problem. We need to deal with the Necromancer himself. If only I knew how to harm the furrball." His words weren't meant for anyone. He was simply saying what he was thinking. The anger burning in his eyes predicted that his respect for the Mane had been overcome by his fury. The Mane would have to answer to this loss of lives.

He noticed Mabolg walking next to him.
,,Ah, thank you for carrying Centurion. If you need something, just ask and it shall be my pleasure to help. As for the Necromancer....I wish I knew where he was."

mabolg

"it must be part of what molag bal did to him. those daedra are tricky sons of scribs."

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 18 2006, 10:32 PM

Zarador.

,,Molag Bal? Now that I know the Daedra are involved, it appears that our problem has indeed become tricky. I suppose no one knows a way to permanently kill a Daedra?"

(I'm off to bed. Please keep the Mane in a healthy condition. Zarador wants to say a few things, either with the group or alone. smile.gif )

QUOTE(jack cloudy @ Aug 18 2006, 04:05 PM) *

Can you walk?

"Yes, but I'll need help. I've lost a lot of blood." said Jo'puma, as he started to get up. "I need to get back and rest." Jo'puma started to feel weak. "I think I will make it."

OCC: *Waits pationetly for Dungeon Hunter to log back on, for he said he would be on around 10:00*

By the way, where in Central time do you live?

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 19 2006, 04:29 AM

hehe well here i am! i live in wisconsin by the way

Cool, now I know where you live, lol. I ORDER YOU TO ROLE-PLAY!

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 19 2006, 04:50 AM

aye!

t'jirra

"in any case, we must get back and tell the mane what has happened"
t'jirra said as he mounted up.

mabolg

mabolg would have to make the journey on foot, carrying centurion. he looked back on his own past but still felt no sympathy for the evil khajiit.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 19 2006, 05:13 AM

"Lets go."

They arrived back at the city. They went back to the Palace to talk to the Mane. "What happend?" said Casamir, a little concerned because they came back wounded and without the army. "We lost" said Jo'puma. "But they retreated, so the city is safe for now." "Ah, well then maybe you should speak to the Mane." Zarador, angry, marched up to the Mane. "I would like to have a word with you!" Zarador said.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 19 2006, 05:15 AM

this should be good.

t'jirra

t'jirra stood still in fear. nobody who knew anything about elsweyr talked to the mane like that.

mabolg

mabolg set down centurion on the tile floor of the palace.

edit: *does double take* zarador?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 19 2006, 05:24 AM

"Whether you have many more or not, I will not allow another battle like this! It was nothing but a sore waste of life. Every man we kill can be revived, minus missing parts, you should have known that!" said Zarador, furious.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 19 2006, 05:26 AM

the mane

the mane lifted his paw "i knew not what would happen. i sent my men and my champions because i did not expect the sorcerer would be so powerful."

Pay Check

Andareth was waiting to get paid. "For your succes in keeping the enemy from attacking the city, I shall reward you greatly for your efforts." He ordered one of his serveants to give the money to the heroes. They each got 5000 gold peices. "This should be enough for another Dwemer arm." said Jo'puma, as he turned to look at Zarador. "Could you make me a Dwemer arm for this gold?"

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 19 2006, 05:40 AM

t'jirra

t'jirra stared at the gold in his hands. this was much more than he ever got theiving from the outposts and inns. he decided it would buy him a nice bow later on, and he pocketed it with a smile on his face.

mabolg

mabolg didnt have any pockets:(

I am completly idealess. I can not think of what to say or do. Maybe I will think of something when Jack Cloudy posts.

yeah...me too. if i think of something i'll put it in the plot thread.

edit: god i am just the master of getting the first post on each page.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 19 2006, 08:24 AM

Well, here's your chance to think. And it was quite good what you did with Zarador. smile.gif

Zarador.

Zarador stared furiously at the money in his hands. He pointed at the nearest guard.
,,You! Take this money and divide it among the family of those who lost their lives. It won't compensate for the loss but it will have to do. Now go!"
He then turned to the Mane.
,,I don't know what you were thinking but no more armies. If you want to make yourself usefull, find yourself a way to directly injure that foul Necromancer. Any more of this nonsense, and it shall be you who will have to face my spells!" The Aldmer towered over the Mane. The room suddenly felt very cold. Several of the Mane's guards looked rather nervous.

Finally, the Aldmer began to calm down. He looked at Jo'puma.
,,I'm sorry, but I have a better idea. What would you say if I gave you Centurion's left arm? Once I get my machine fixed, it can regrow any missing pieces. An arm will take a while, but it will go. So what do you say, would you accept his arm?"

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 19 2006, 09:09 PM

A new Arm

"Sure, I'll take the centrions arm. Thank you". Jo'puma took the arm and put it where his real arm used to be. "Well, I don't need this money, so I will also give it to those who lost there husbands." Jo'puma gave the money to the guard that Zarador gave his money too, and then the guard went to give the money. "Well, I believe we should go and rest at the hotel." Jo'puma left for the hotel. When he got in, he bought another bottle of Skomma, then went to his room and drank.

My damn brother hoged the computer all day so I wasn't able to RP with you guys. DAMN HIM!

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 19 2006, 09:13 PM

Zarador

Zarador couldn't allow himself to rest yet.
He worked till far into the morning to get Centurion fixed. When he finally went to sleep, the machine had reactivated and was repairing itself. When the sun rose, It had already grown a new shoulder and fixed most small dents and scratches. It had also began to change its flamethrower into an icethrower.

OOC: Damn brothers. smile.gif At least you're on now.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 19 2006, 09:39 PM

Yup biggrin.gif

A nice day

When Jo'puma woke up the next morning, he went downstairs for breakfast. "Goodmorning!" said the hotel keeper. "What for breakfast today?" said Jo'puma, as he sat down. "Muffins, corn, peaches, and sense that dark elf wanted meat, we have nix hound meat now." Jo'puma got a muffin, a peach, and some hound meat. "I can't do anything major today, I'm still a little wounded. Maybe I could take care of bandits..."

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 19 2006, 09:47 PM

Zarador, not a nice day biggrin.gif

The wizard was awoken by the sun shining through his window.
,,Cursed windows without curtains!" He mumbled only half-awake. After a few moments it became clear that he wasn't going to fall asleep again.
,,They should kill the man who said that starting the day early is a good thing."

His first plan was to go visit the Mane and see if there was any news regarding the Necromancer. He decided not to for he realized that he wasn't quite welcome any longer. The news of how he treated the Mane had spread and the Khajiit all looked at him when he walked through the streets last night.
,,I suppose that I shouldn't worry about the Necromancer....for today at least. Centurion, stay here."

Walking down the stairs, he saw Jo'puma having breakfast.
,,Ah, I'll also have some thank you. After a hard day working, nothing beats a good meal. So, how was your night, my friend?"

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 19 2006, 10:00 PM

"It was good. I didn't have any nighmares." said Jo'puma as he took the last bite of the muffin. I think I am going to take a look around, see the city some more, maybe buy something." Jo'puma left the hotel, and went outside. When he was walking down the street, he saw three kids, doing a play. There was a litle group of people watching them, and he decided to watch. There were three kids pretending to fight. "Die,die, die! bleh!" The last kid falls over. Jo'puma chuckles, then continues to go down the road.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 20 2006, 07:41 AM

Zarador

Zarador watched the Khajiit go and walked off towards the nearest gate.
,,Aldmer can't pass. This city is under siege."

The Wizard looked at the guard who'd stopped him.
,,If you want to go home with your fur intact, I suggest that you open the gate."
The threat had its desired result and the gate was opened.

Outside, there was no sign of the undead army. He hadn't expect any. The army would probably pop in right at the Mane's palace.
,,Not my problem."
He went to the top of a nearby hill and sat down with his eyes closed. As the Aldmer was meditating, time seemed to fly.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 20 2006, 08:31 AM

Jo'puma walked inside a book store and picked up a book to read. He then went to a clothing store and bought a new robe. [His robe is now bright red with a green daimond on it]. He then went to a miscilanius store and bought a blank book, a feather, and an ink bottle. He then went to a hill to write in his book, and it tuurned out to be the same hill Zarador was on. "Oh, hello there" said Jo'puma, as he sat down and started writing in the blank book (witch now, is pretty much his journal).

Mondas, 24 Last Seed , E435.

I lost my last arm yesterday. I have another dwemer arm, though. One of my companions, Zarador, an Altmer, gave me his centurion's arm. It was pretty nice of him. We are to go out to battle, again, tommorow. Well I don't know if we will battle, but we are fighing against the enemy again. I wish I knew his name, so I don't have to keep calling him "enemy". Maybe I should call him- Jo'puma puased for a moment. -The Forgoten Khajiit. Yeah, that sounds good.

I look forward to the upcoming payments. I could really use a new house.

Jo'puma puts his journal away, and relaxes.

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 20 2006, 10:24 AM

Zarador

Zarador opened his eyes and found Jo'puma sitting near him. He smiled and nodded as a greeting.
,,I've been thinking. I went over the battle again and have concluded that we've been lucky. If this Khajiit had drained my Magicka, I wouldn't have taken out so many of the undead." He paused to put his hat straight.
,,This also leads me to the following. We're quite similar. We both rely on Magicka to protect us. If he could be distracted, I might find myself capable of draining his Magicka. That would make him unable to keep up his defenses and give me a large reserve to put into spells. The only problem would be the distraction and a draining spell powerful enough to do the job. I'll think it over when we have the time."

The Aldmer looked at the horizon for a few moments.
,,Please tell the Mane that I'm still willing to help when you go to see him. I believe it would be for the best if Í don't meet him in person for a while. No matter what my opinion of him might be, he is still the leader of the city we're trying to help. I can't afford to turn the people into my enemies."

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 20 2006, 10:50 AM

"I will be sure to tell him." said Jo'puma. Jo'puma then started to slowly fall asleep.

Casamir

Casamir was talking to the Mane. "What will we do? We lost 200 men over nothing! Our heroes were not strong enough to figh them. How on Nirn are we going to beat him?". "I do not know. My men have not learned very much. They are searching as we speak." Suddenly, a guard burst open the door and ran up to the Mane. "We have found a location of one of there bases." The Mane stood up. "Is there leader there?". "Highly doubt it, sir." "We should tell them at once!"

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 20 2006, 09:15 PM

Zarador

Zarador watched the sleeping Khajiit and then left. He recalled back to the inn where he checked out Centurion. The machine was almost fully repaired. The Wizard sat in a chair and kept his mind on possible means to remove the Necromancer's power.
,,I need more information. If only I could have an encounter with the Khajiit's forces, but without the Khajiit himself."

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 03:45 AM

T'jirra

T'jirra rolled over in bed and pulled his sheets off. he put on his casual robe (a dark red with black stitching)
and got his sack of money. he went downstairs and saw the inkeeper who forced him to have some meat before he left. as he was leaving, he looked back to see her watching him intently she looked away suddenly, as if ashamed. T'jirra thought nothing of it and left. he had bought his first bow in this town, so he knew the best store for it. "the crooked arrow" it was called. he strolled inside and the shopkeeper welcomed him. "buisness has been picking up, with the siege and all" he said. T'jirra looked up from the bow he was inspecting and said "siege? what siege?" "oh? well that evil khajiit has been threatening our town recently. a few heroes tried to repel him...but he seems too powerful." the shopkeeper said. T'jirra said nothing and kept looking at bows. an imported glass bow made from the volcanic glass of red mountain caught his eye. it bent nicely and was durable and accurate. he took a few shots with it, but it was toohard of a pull. he eventually settled on a nice dwemer bow, which, despite being metal, bent perfectly and was a nice size. it was easy to pull back and shot nice and straight. it ended up costing T'jirra 1000 septims, leaving him with 1000 left, plus some he had been stashing in his room. he waved goodbye to the shopkeeper and left.

mabolg

mabolg got up and put on his polished ebony graves. he had bought a small leather puch to store his money in, which he strapped on and left the inn. he decided to practice combat today, with his day off. he headed over to the town square and conjured a daedric katana into his hand. he went through his techniques and practiced the best way to disarm a skeleton over and over.

OOC: sorry i wasnt on last night, i was at my friends house.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 06:23 AM

Thats okay.

Man, I feel like a turd. wacko.gif

Jo'puma

Jo'puma had a nice nap of an hour, and woke up. He got his things and went back to the hotel to drop his things off, then left to go to a target shop and bought a dummy to practice his skills with. He practiced telekiness with it. After a while, when he was done he casted a fire spell and the dummy burned to a crisp. He turned around to see a guard aproaching him. "The Mane needs to talk to you and the other heroes. Come with me."

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 06:31 AM

T'jirra

halfway back to the inn, T'jirra was confrontedby a khajiit gaurd in fancy armor. "the mane needs to see you. come this way." he said and escorted T'jirra to the palace. when he got there, the rest of the heroes were sitting at a crescent shaped table facing the mane on his throne. T'jirra sat down and waited for an order.

mabolg.

mabolg had been summoned to the palace an hour ago and taken his seat early. T'jirra had just walked in and sat down, completing the party. "greetings, my heroes..." began the mane.

OOC: t'jirra needs to talk to the mane, doesnt have to be in private, maybe after the meeting.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 06:47 AM

Sure, go ahead. This whole post will be the meeting. After it you can talk to him.

"Some of my scouts have found an enemy base. The sorcerer is not there, though, but if you destroy it he will not be able to rebuild it. We shall have troops following you, but they will not be there to fight. They will take over the frotresses that you destroy. You should leave at 7:00. You should give them a suprise attack. You are dismissed."

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 21 2006, 06:51 AM

Zarador.

The Aldmer had come to the palace, but by means of a powerful Chameleon spell. He leant over to Jo'puma and whispered in his ears.
,,I'm sorry for my secrecy but could you please ask what kind of opposition is to be expected and if there is anything we should look for when there?"

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 06:57 AM

"We will need to talk about it at the hotel. We will need time to plan it."

OOC:We should wait for Dungeon Hunter to talk to the Mane before we get to the hotel part.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 07:08 AM

im here!

T'jirra

after the meeting, T'jirra saw the mane when everybody left. "your holiness, i would like to give you my mane." he said simply. "that is very honorable of you, T'jirra. i would be proud to wear it. shall we begin?" and so T'jirra's mane was cut off and worn on the mane's neck. after that, he bowed and left the palace.
heading back to the hotel, he hoped to join the meeting to discuss strategy with zarador and jo'puma. they should have good plans, they were both intellegent people.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 07:19 AM

mabolg

mabolg saw this as an opportunity to gain a foothold against the khajiit's forces. he would figth hard and gaurantee a victory. any orders he was given would be followed to the letter. he bowed and left the temple with the others, while T'jirra stayed behind.

OOC: can anyone do andareth?

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 21 2006, 07:27 AM

Andareth.

Andareth bowed and left. A smile played around his lips when he thought of the payment for this mission.
,,Let's get this over with."

OOC: good enough?

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 07:28 AM

hah its perfect.

so is T'jirra invited to the planning meeting?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 07:39 AM

The Plan

Back at the hotel, everyone gathered to discuss how to do it. "Maybe we could hide somewhere while T'jiira assasinates the patrolers, then we could sneak in the building." said Jo'puma.

All of a sudden, Casamir walks in with Ebony Armor on and a Dia-Katana. "I am coming with you to fight."

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 21 2006, 07:45 AM

Zarador.

Zarador sighed.
,,I believe our plan of sneaking in has just become a bit harder." He stood up and inspected Casamir thoroughly.
,,If I cast a silence spell on him it might just work. Do you know how to use that thing?" He finally said, pointing at the Dai-Katana.

,,Nevermind. Once we're inside, be carefull. I want to investigate the place. Maybe we find a book, a scrap of paper. Anything at all that can tell us more about our enemy will be usefull. So try to avoid collateral damage."
He sighed again.
,,I suppose that means I'll be stuck with touch spells."

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 07:52 AM

"I was once a Blade for Martin Septim, until he sacrificed himself to save Cyrodil."

Jo'puma was suprised, for he did not not know that. "Back to the plan, what will we do when we learn about our enemy? How will we take care of the army that guards that base?"

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 08:02 AM

T'jirra

"T'jirra will take care of that. bought a new bow today, and it could use some breaking in. zarador, i'll need you to make me some poisons for my arrows. when the cost is clear, i will signal you all to advance. go light on the armor, and dont bring centurion, he could compromise our stealth.

mabolg

mabolg sighed a growly sigh. "what will i do?" he asked.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 08:08 AM

"I am not sure, maybe if we get seen you could hold them back. Maybe if we get in, then we could use there own seige weapons against them. This will be hard, but we need to defeat the evil sorcerer. We should bring supplys with us."

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 08:11 AM

T'jirra

"we leave at 7:00 tonight? not much time for preparation..."

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 08:16 AM

"We have two hours to get ready. We will bring food and potions." Jo'puma went and got 6 Muffins, 10 Carrots, 6 Sweetcakes, 10 Apples and 6 Peaches. He then got 6 healing potions and two mana potions. He put them all in a bag and put them on Mabolg's back.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 08:22 AM

T'jirra

"good enough. now, can anyone make me some poisons? i need lethal ones as well as paralyzine and silencing ones."

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 21 2006, 08:23 AM

Zarador.

Zarador nodded and prepared enough poison to take out an army.
,,Casamir, maybe it is better if you leave that Ebony armour behind. I shall need all the Magicka I can muster and a silence spell is effectively a waste of resources." He gave a potion to T'jirra.

,,Here's the poison. There's not much of it, but a single drop can kill a Kagouti. Ok, maybe not a Kagouti but a human is guaranteed death within ten seconds. Be carefull you don't touch it yourself. It would be a shame to lose you."

,,Paralyzing and Silence? Those should be easy. I believe I still have a small supply of those in my bag. Centurion is hollow so he makes a good walking closet. Hold on, ah here they are. Have fun with those."

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 08:26 AM

Damn you, Jack. tongue.gif

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 08:26 AM

T'jirra

"thank you, zarador." said T'jirra and he got to work poisoning some nice ebony arrows he had with him.

mabolg

mabolg too took off his ebony greaves and put on some imported netch leather armor from morrowind

OOC: is the attack happening tonight?

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 08:30 AM

"Fine, I shall take my armor off." Casamir goes up to his room and comes back in a monk robe. "Shall we get going?" said Casamir. "Yes, lets tell the Mane we are ready so he sends his troops to follow us." Jo'puma and everyone else walk out to go see the mane.

OCC: Yes.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 08:34 AM

T'jirra

with a last check of his weapons, T'jirra determined he was ready. he didnt wear boots, to minimize noise, and he left his money at the inn. on the way out he cast what could have been a final glance at the innkeeper. he had taken a liking to her in the last few days, but nothing ever happened between them. she wished them luck in their mission and waved them goodbye.

mabolg

"we should make sure the troops remain behind, they may give us away.."

OOC: while playing oblivion, i met a khajiit named "S'jirra". T'jirra's sister, perhaps? lol.

by the way: nice touch making casamir go to the blacksmith earlier:)

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 08:51 AM

no one's posting...

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 21 2006, 08:55 AM

Wheres Jack? I wish we were all in the same time zone. sad.gif

When do you usualy go to this forum? Between what hours?

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 21 2006, 10:32 AM

I was off to school, getting the required information that makes sure I'm not at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'm usually on at 7.00 am central time if I'm correct. And I'm on after 16.00 pm till 22.00. smile.gif
Now, let's rp!

Zarador didn't change his outfit. His clothes weren't meant for fast movements but they weren't noisy either. That, and he kind of liked them.
,,I'm ready. Let's go in, destroy any undead and leave before that fould Necromancer notices what happens."
He spoke confidently.

,,Unfortunately, I have the feeling that this Necromancer will notice instantly when his minions start dropping like flies."

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 21 2006, 10:34 AM

ah, so hes back now. unfortunately, im going to bed and i have to register for school in the morning, so i'll be on at maybe 10 pm central time

Posted by: jack cloudy Aug 21 2006, 10:09 PM

Zarador.

On their way to the base, worries kept playing through the wizard's mind.
,,I have a really bad feeling about this."

OOC: I've been thinking. The time that this rp progresses is the same time that I really have to go to bed. I'm just holding up this thing for everyone. So I think I'll have to quit for both the rp and my personal health. So Zarador and Centurion can be degraded to NPC status and used by anyone who wants it. Personally, I would like it if Zarador was captured by the big crook and stayed in a cage or something. When the climax comes, he could make a difference.

Sorry. sad.gif

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 22 2006, 12:21 AM

We will miss you. sad.gif Please check us out every once in a while.

*Zarador and Centurion have been turned into NPC's*

When they get to the Mane's Palace, The army is already ready. "Here is my army. We will follow you when your ready." Jo'puma checked everyone to see if they were ready, then turned back to the Mane. "We our ready."

It is now 9:00, they just reached the base. "Alright T'jiira, do your thing."

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 22 2006, 06:13 AM

Dungeonhunter, are you on?

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 22 2006, 05:10 PM

we'll miss you, jack sad.gif

and no i wasnt on i fell asleep lol

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 23 2006, 04:56 AM

KEEP PLAYING!

I cant keep doing it by myself. You need to help me end this. When its over, you don't have to play it anymore. Infact, I am going to join someone elses game. But lets make it end. We our almost done. Here is whats left:

Invade base

Find out how to kill khajiit.

Continue to go to the enemy base.

Rest in cave.

Reach enemy's cave.

Enter and kill enemys.

Attack khajiit.

Kill him.

Win.

The end.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 23 2006, 06:00 AM

im sorry, guns, ive just been staying out with my friends and this rp starts at 12 usually, so its hard for me, but ill keep going.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 23 2006, 06:06 AM

the party hides scattered in the shrubbery at the edge of a foret bordering the base.

T'jirra

T'jirra pulls out his new bow and knocks an arrow. he scans for movement, and sees a lone gaurd at the base of the fortress. he releases the arrow and it hits the undead gaurd in the neck, knocking him to teh ground. he doesnt move for a second, so T'jirra moves to another target. another gaurd, about 100 meters away from the first, stands at the corner of the base. T'jirra fires again and hits it. the poison acts quickly and the gaurd is down. T'jirra's life detecting ring helps him pick out a few other targets, but one gaurd is standing too close to another to kill, because the second would surely notice. he motions to casamir and andareth. "i need you two to sneak up on those two and assasinate them. quietly, please. i'll pull the rest of us up to the base of the fortress wall when you're done. meet us there. go!"

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 23 2006, 06:25 AM

Casamir and Andareth sneak down near the two guards. They each are right behing them, then slowly take out there weapons. "Ready.....now!" Casamir jumps up and stabs the guard in the chest upwoard, while Andareth decaputates the other. Jo'puma, Zarador, and Mabolg see that the guards are taken care of, and proceed to the fortress wall.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 23 2006, 07:19 AM

T'jirra

casamir and andareth joined the rest of the heroes at the wall. they skirted it closely until they reached a small side entry used by gaurds and rarely locked. T'jirra opened it and looked inside. there was a gaurd patrolling a long hall, while torches lit the wall, placed every 10 feet.

OOC: I'm back people, sorry it took so long. I had to raise a little hut made of wood at my house in the mountains, hence the reason I stayed so long. I'm back now though, I see however that Jack has left our ranks. A real pitty. His character really brought flavour to this RP. Anyway, I'm back and I can now reprise Andareth. Can someone give me a quick explanation of what's happened so far?

Jo'puma shoots the guard with a cold spell. The guard is now frozen solid. Everyone goes a crost the hall way, into the second floor. When they reached the top floor, they walked in without even knowing there was enemys in the next room, though they were too far away to call for backup, so the undead minions took out the'yre weapons. There was a commander and two champions. Casamir and Jo'puma attack The champions while Zarador and T'jiira attack the commander.

Jo'puma swings to hit the champion, but misses. It returns the attack, but Jo'puma blocks it. Jo'puma cuts its face open.

"Its not as easy to kill the higher ranks" said Zarador, as he stabed the commander in the chest and casted a fire spell with it, making the skeleton explode.

Andareth, covering the others

Andareth stood guard as the others entered the small side entry which led inside the stronghold. He looked carefully for Undead guards that could set off an alarm. None came however. After he heard no more sound inside the pasage, he entered as well, seeking to join his companions.

Andareth was used to the Undead from his days spent in Morrowind. Every visit to the Ancestral Tomb of his forefathers featured at least one of the ethereal creatures people call Ancestor spirits. At first, Andareth was afraid of them, but with time his fear dissapeared, giving way for respect. Andareth however, had no respect for abominations as the ones he was fighting now.

T'jirra

"give me a paralyze" T'jirra told zarador. zarador paralyzed the commander with a well placed spell while T'jirra snuck around behind and knocked it over with his foot wedged in between those of the commander. he took out his dagger and messily seperated the head from the body and dragged them both into the shadows. "it isnt hard if you know what to do" he said with a smile as he went to help out the other two.

mabolg

mabolg had been watching the rear of the group. he heard footsteps and creaking bones come around the corner. someone had caught on. when they came around, he let out a roar and sunk his claws into the nearest undead, ripping out flesh.

Andareth

Andareth knew that the situation they were in required stealth and strategy, not mindless killing. Sadly, he was better at the later. Andareth never really liked the notion of hiding in the shadows like some coward, he liked to chalenge his enemy to battle to see which was the better warrior. Of course, Andareth had no notion of honour nor battle etiquete. He didn't hesitate to even the odds if he was outnumbered by using dishonourable tactics like kicking an enemy in the groin, or spitting in their eyes.

Because of the current situation however, Andareth staid near the back of the group, near where Mabolg was. Their expertise was similar, they were both more drawn to combat than magic or stealth.

Jo'puma puts his sword away, and goes over to the table that the skeletons where at. He sees a chest under the table. He used a spell of Lock-opening and found a journal in the chest. "Hmmm..." He opens the journal and reads it.

E433

It has been a week sence I left my town. They will pay for the way they have treated me. My army is growing faser every day. I have 5,000 men at the gate. When I have enough, I shall open the gates and let them destroy this land.

E434

My powers have grown sence when I came upon this place. My army is growing, and I will soon be able to over run Elsweyr, and rule the land. I currently have 50,000 men ready. I shall have plenty by next year. I can't wait to taste the blood of the Mane when I slaughter him.

E435

It is time. I have 500,000 men waiting to be released. I shall leave this place to go to Shadow's Cave. They will all perish.

Jo'puma drops the journal in shock. "We have to get to Shadow's Cave, immediatly!" Jo'puma looks around the room for a map that leads to Shadow's Cave.

T'jirra

T'jirra spun and looked at jo'puma. "what? what have you found?"

mabolg

mabolg finished off the last of the skeletons with andareth and gathered around jo'puma with the others.

Posted by: GunsnArmor Aug 25 2006, 06:28 PM

It...it said he had an army of 500,000...and he is attacking tommorow.....we need to figure out how to kill him..."

Jo'puma doesn't find anything else useful on the table, so ho picks up the journal he droped, and continues to read it.

I have figured out that I have a weakness to gold.

Every time I try to pick up a gold cup I burn my hand. Gold is like fire to me. No other weapon or spell can harm me.

"Gold! We need gold! Does anyone have gold?". Jo'puma turns the page to find a small paper that shows how to get to Shadow's Cave. "My ebony bracers have some gold on them." "Good, I will make them into arrow heads later."

A skeleton archer saw his allies fall down the stairs in peices. He runs to tell the others that there are intruders in the fortress.

They are aware.

Andareth

"Gold? What are we to do? Throw drakes at him?" Andareth jockingly asked. However, the Necromancer's armies made him think about this matter in a serious way. 500 000 men, who could be revived after they were slayed, were a serious threat to Elsweyr, and even the Empire which was weak after the Oblivion crisis.

"We better head to this Shadow Cave then, no point staying here. We don't want to anger our hosts any more than we already have, do we?" Andareth asked in a sarcastical way. He was very serious though.

"Lets go." Jo'puma heads down the stairs untill he sees an army entering the castle. He then turns around and jumps back up the stairs. He shuts the door behind him and locks it, then puts a book shelf in front of it. Casamir sighed. "Please don't tell me theres an army right outside of that door." said Casamir. Jo'puma shook his head, then ran out the balcony. Everyone followed him.

Posted by: Agent Griff Aug 26 2006, 07:25 AM

Andareth, following the group

"Oh great, just our luck. An army of undead is following us and they blocked the exit. Now we have to jump off a balcony like some thieves." Andareth said in an annoyed voice. The truth was, Andareth was afraid of heights. Still, he drew his sword and started following the others.

Posted by: DungeonHunter Aug 26 2006, 07:22 PM

T'jirra

T'jirra sprinted and planted one hand on the balcony rail and hopped over it with ease. he landed with a roll and waited for the others. his expertise in escapes came from many years of petty thievery and some freelance work.

mabolg

mabolg followed after T'jirra with a mighty leap and landed on his haunches on the dirt below. "my ebony greaves are decorates with gold, and i still have the reward money from the mane" he suggested to the rest of them while getting out of the way for the next jumper.

Alright, things are going slow so I think I can help out a bit by removing a prominent landmark. smile.gif

Zarador, showing off.

Zarador followed at a casual pace.
,,Now I really would have enjoyed investigating this place for a while longer, I do believe that getting rid of this army would be an appropriate action." He informed as he slowfalled down. He then raised his hands and knocked down parts of the wall with some well-aimed spells. The stone rumbled and protested but there was no way back. Robbed of its strenght, the castle began to collapse, crushing everything that had the misfortune of being inside.

(After the whole thing has ended.)

Zarador frowned as he removed some dust from his clothes.
,,That was that. Now we need to take down the Necromancer. I was thinking of applying gold to our weapons for one thing and perhaps I can make Centurion fire a canister filled with coins. We'll see."

Posted by: jack cloudy Feb 22 2007, 11:01 PM

Yeah, well I'm in as well. I'd love to use Zarador. Right now he's sitting in a Dwemer airship on Solstheim fiddling his thumbs while Dumac is out saving the world. sleep.gif

(Alright, well the last spot was us getting an army, and about to head out the same place we came, when we fought him and lost, and then we were going to go down into the cave and fight him 'n stuff. We'll start there. See if you can get the others that quite.)
