Here's Flint. I'll whip up Fervus later. smile.gif

Name : Flint Ironwood

Race : Breton

Class : Shadow Walker (Similar to a Nightblade)

Age : (Though one. I’ll say that we’ve left for twenty years straight) 48

Gender (Same meaning, without the problems.): male
Appearance : Average height with surprisingly little muscle for a smith. (Telekinesis, I love it.) Dark Brown eyes and brown hair with bits of grey among them. The hair is still tied back in a ponytail but he now also has a nice little beard. And there is still the scar on the back of his hand. Gloves still cover said scar.

Equipment : Some changes here.
Storm of the Night: A Nordic katana enchanted with a Telekinesis blast spell. His primary weapon even after all those years.

Blade of the Night: After a few years, Flint further improved on his design for the Storm. While outwardly identical to the Storm, the Blade features a Telekinesis enchantment that forms the air into a blade, instead of a simple blast. So remote cutting instead of remote pushing. The Blade does run out of charges more quickly. Also, the telekinetic blade isn’t as good as a good old blade of steel.

Do-it-yourself portable repair set: Prongs and a light hammer among things, this allows Flint to keep his gear in perfect condition. He does need Telekinesis for the jobs requiring more muscle. He already had this in To Heir is Human 1, so I decided to actually make it official.

Silver dagger: This replaces his glass dagger. It features a dispel enchantment which Flint chose after realizing that his old Glass dagger was definitely not helpful against a mage like Salina.

Covered Glass armour: The same thing as before, so I’ll just copy it over from the first thread.
It is made up of three layers. The inner layer is some nice soft wool that dampens blows and keeps him warm while also making the armour comfortable to wear. The second layer is made up of thin plates of Glass and some more fabric to keep all three layers together. The last layer is made up of black clothing. The result is an armour that provides protection slightly less than normal Glass armour, is light and easy to wear while also looking like just normal clothing with good camouflage during the night.
His pants and boots follow the same idea. He also has some black gloves to cover his hands. (and hide that scar.)
Now, the helmet has been removed this time. He now wears a Dark Brotherhood cloak with hood to replace it.

Personality :
Pessimistic as ever. Flint is convinced that things will go wrong. He is also somewhat sarcastic. What else? He doesn’t like killing.

Brief History :
After the events of To Heir is Human, Flint returned to High Rock. He went back to North Point where he married Selie, now that there was no longer a price on his head to keep him away. He established himself as a smith to make money. The first few years, he made regular trips through High Rock in search of Salina. These trips were unsuccessful and he gave up. He has now ‘permanently’ (As in, till the rp starts) hung up his weapons on the wall as decoration. His son is now also a smith. Flint has not told his son anything about his former career. (Thief, general punching bag.)

Other Relevant info :
Flint knows a fair bit of dual wielding and is a master at the following.
Sneak, Security, Marksman.
Spells:

Fireburst: Some sort of fireball machinegun. The individual fireballs are weak but together they can be quite an effective deterrent to your average mage. (Which means that the more powerful ones like Salina or Telina would laugh at it for being completely useless.)

Telekinesis: Flint’s Telekinesis is very powerful, with enough strength to lift a few Orcs simultaneously. It also is more sophisticated than the Storm’s ‘blast-em’.

Heart Heal: Known to Morrowind veterans as a simple healing spell. It does just that, heal.

Summon bound Longbow, bound arrows: More of a fun spell than anything else. Flint can shoot but he can’t aim while doing all his flips and rolls. So he is practically immobile while playing archer. That doesn’t keep the arrows from being painful.

Dragon Skin: Flint’s ultimate defence. Useable once a day, it can keep him alive even against the mightiest spells and the strongest blade.

Invisibility: Duh, three guesses to what it does. Quite long duration.

Tarhiel’s dream: Ok, this is not the name Flint uses but I just want to honour the death elf. Tarhiel’s dream is a superjump spell Flint uses a lot when travelling. Fortunately, Flint also perfected the landing aspect.

It's supposed to be To Heir is Human II - Characters, but I assume everyone knows that. (fixed that one for ya!//minque)

Anyhow, with Serene's age as my timeline, To Heir is Human happened nine years after the events in AMU, and the second THIH happens twenty years after that. Just in case somebody needs that to put the appropriate age on their character. Like I did, since I'm thinking of including Sel in a (tiny) part of the story.

Ewww.....then Serene should be 56!!!! by now, gosh I hope Telina´s got some nice potion to make her look like 25 years younger .....And Brianna would be in her fourties......jeez! :blink:Uhh Serene had her as a 16 year old???? hmm well ....

Posted by: jack cloudy Oct 19 2006, 09:36 PM

I don't see how that is going to be a problem. Aren't you all the big mages? Surely, a cosmetic fortification shouldn't be any harder than healing or anything. smile.gif

Posted by: Tellie Oct 19 2006, 10:07 PM

I agree with you there Cloudy

And Telina might (just might slip Serene a letter telling where Bree is (loads of useful books there) wink.gif

Posted by: minque Oct 19 2006, 10:18 PM

Hehe..nice! I just concluded Brianna.....now she´s hibernating in that nice place........with total amnesia!!!!

Ok, i've never Rped before, but I read the "To Heir is Human 10" so I have an idea of the stiryline, and the characters.

Ian

Race- Imperial/Vampire (Cyrodiilic Strain)
Class- Agent
Age- 39 (Oh lord, I was off)
Gender- Male

Appearence- Well tanned complexion, his solemn eyes can be bleach-brown or slightly red depending on if he's fed. And short, jet black hair (oiled style). He wears several scars all over his torso (from training). Ian is pretty tall and strong (not muscle-bound, but lightly muscled).

Equipment-

Agent's Leather Armor (replaces glass)- a full set of grey leather that matches his robes. They are a little heavier than normal leather. This is due to some thin plates of chitin that are sown into almost every spot that doesn't impede movement too terribly. Each guantlet has a seven-inch long spike that is woven into the bracer (naturally they're for stabbing things).

Agent's cloak- apon graduation, all apprentices are given robes that are enchanted to suit their styles (not completly stealth all the time). Grey and unassuming (but recognizable by veteran (i.e palace) guards. Ian's allows the wearer to become invisible (100% chameleon).

Glass bow- for some reason is not enchanted, but Ian often poisons the arrows (Strong paralysis or silence, can't have victims screaming their heads off). laugh.gif

Ian's outfit- an exquiste black outfit (Oblivion-style) that Ian received from his father (also was an agent). It increases personality and speechcraft.

Amulet of Diplomacy- an artifact stolen from the Arcane University's Mystic Vaults. It has similar effects to Ian's outfit (it looks like the Amulet of Kings, but violet instead of red).

Personality- calculating, Ian knows when to fight and when you should deal. Often puts up an indifferent front, but is ultimately conscious of the implications of cruelty and compassion.

Due to his transformation to a vampire, Ian has unstable moments where vampirism conflicts with his former stoic self. The disease also increases his distance from others, making him quieter and more reserved than before. His vampirism also makes him more of a specialist in melee combat. Ian will use unwieldy weapons to greater affect in combat (throwing shields, shield ramming, throwing weapons, etc.)

After being infected, Ian has begun to remember memories and events that he never took part in. He's also felt sudden powerful emotions, i.e extreme anger, instead of lesser emotions (such as annoyance). So far, it has been speculated that vamparism was already in him before being infected (but in a small, diluted increment) and it was passed from a distant ancestor.

Brief history- Ian was brought up by a dojo dedicated to training future master agents. The only parental intervention was his father who gave Ian many items from his days of glory. Ian graduated as one of the academies finest, aside from this nothing much is known about this young agent or his alliegences. Ian is indifferent to killing, but avoids unnessasary violence.

Relevant info- Ian spends time around shady establishments (although he finds drinking reprehensible), but mostly goes where the wind takes him. Finding him, let alone employing him could be very difficult. Ian perfers to fight at a distance, but now that he is vampire, this preference is no longer absolute.

Mostly Ian doesn't use many spells, except for basic spells in alteration, conjuration, and restoration, along with expert level illusion spells. And some of the vampire powers of the Cyrodiilic vampires.

Name : Rahvin

Race : Dunmer

Class : Assassin

Age : 39

Sex : Male

Appearance : Average height and slight of build, typical dunmer red eyes. He has shoulder-length black hair that he often ties back in a pony tail. He has an elaborate tattoo of a snake that curls around his forearm all the way up to his shoulder. He wears common clothing when not working. Then he wears an assassin's garb.

Equipment : His favorite weapon is and always has been the dagger, and he carries many of them. Less than a decade ago, though, he added a longsword to his arsenal, discontent with the dagger's limitations.

Personality : Doesn't get any gratification from killing, but doesn't necessarily dislike it. It's merely a way of life for him, and recently, he has been finding himself used by different Lords. He is forced to kill for his own preservation. And his own survival is his only concern. He is very relaxed, clever, and unlike most people of his profession, he is quite personable to those he likes. After becoming a father, he didn't change his occupation, he merely modified it to serve some good.

Brief History : A over twenty years ago, he was nothing more than a petty theif in Cyrodiil, and he and his girlfriend made the mistake of robbing some Skyrim Lord. (No, it's not Agnar) He got away with prison time, but his girlfriend was killed in front of him as an example. He spent a month plotting his escape from the prison in Cyrodiil, and succeeded, only to be caught again after exacting his revenge on the Lord by drowning him in his own bath. AFter that, he was sent to a penal colony on the northern coast of Skyrim, west of Dawnstar and east of Haafingar. He often found himself visited by lords who wanted certain people exterminated. He usually agreed after being threatened with an execution or an extension of his time in the colony.

One such time, he was summoned by Lord Agnar to kill Lord Jadier and all those with him. He ended up joining his targets in the end, and a larger plot unfolded, involving three children. One of which was his own.

After the birth of his son, Rahvin traveled from Bruma to the city of Chorrol, where he works directly for the countess Arriana Valga. It is well-known that he is important to the city's security, but nobody knows exactly what he does except for the countess, Rahvin's son, and Rahvin himself. He is now in Leyawiin, performing a task for the Countess of Chorrol.

I figured that while a Lich is an interesting person, he isn’t exactly my style. So meet……Luper Alkad! biggrin.gif (Hey, we already have Telina and Serene so another fanfic character won’t cause any problems.)

Name : Luper Alkad

Race : Aedra (Ok, he looks like a Redguard.)

Class : Oasis (Swordfighter and Alteration expert with a fair mastery of Destruction.)

Age : 26

Gender : Male

Appearance : Redguard with a somewhat light tan. He has black chaotic hair that is tied back in a ponytail behind his head. Just look at my avatar and remove the cartoonish look.

Equipment : Ok, Luper is taken by surprise while he was fishing, so he isn’t wearing his usual stuff which would make him too uber, even at this age.

Chryasamere: The Paladin’s blade is a sword he drags around everywhere. Don’t let the heavy Claymore fool you, Luper is quite a fast guy with it and can swing it with one hand easily.

Full Orcish armour without the helmet. Luper hasn’t gotten around to enchanting it yet.
Common clothing underneath the armour. (Morrowind prison ship version. I like it.)
Simple brown fabric to cover his armour.

Personality : Arrogant, noisy and downright rude. He does have a good sense of honour……..deep down.

Brief History :
Ahem, Luper is the Nerevarine in the alternate universe where my old Lich comes from. Since Fervus has had a chance to read the Elder Scrolls, he knew that Luper would play a role in to Heir is Human. So, he grabbed the Redguard when he was fishing.

With little more than his pyamas and Chrysamere (I told you he drags it around everywhere.) Luper was left to find his place in the world. Of course, discovering that he wasn’t the Nerevarine here made things awkward. In the end, our Redguard just went to beat up a few bandits. He has since gotten a decent cache of equipment and is now something of a wandering mercenary.

Other Relevant info :
For those who have read my fanfics, especially the recently finished ‘In service of a fallen god’, don’t worry. The Luper I use in the RP hasn’t discovered his Aedric powers yet. So he won’t be an unbeatable timeshifting killing machine. He does have the Corprus and the superhuman strength that brings.

Spells: (The ones he uses most.)
Telekinesis (Standard issue, high powered and usually used to blow people off their feet.)
Skybolt (Short-duration superfast Levitation. Commonly used to cover ground quickly during battle.)
Bound Longsword.
Waterwalk, Waterbreath (Standard version.)
Heart Heal (Best healing spell he has.)
Flamelance (A large fireball that has been focussed into an area the size of a coin. It looks a bit like a sci-fi plasmabeam. Very high penetration power but no real area damage.)
Fireballs (Varying sizes.)

And here's a picture of Luper that I made with a fancy freeware program.

Karn
Race- Dunmer
Class- ninja
Age- forty-eight
Gender- male
Appearance- handsome, white/crimson hair (usually rouge knot style). Tall, broad-shouldered and the typical dunmeri qualtities.

Equipment-

D. Brotherhood armor- with a black cape and cowl.

Bound shurikan- (throwing stars) Karn sometimes releases a cloud of stars and minipulates them with telekenisis.

Shadow Thorn- a deadric shortsword enchanted with drain life and drain fatigue. (Is replaced by a Bound Shortsword when Thorn is lost).

Brief history- Karn and Ian have been rivals since their first meeting. The feud has lasted many years, and usually each meeting ends in a stalemate both to wounded to much to carry on, or something happens and the fight ends without a victor.

Relevant info- Karn was cruel, sadistic, and ruthless, he cared only about himself. Recently, however, the responsibility of leading the Narza Tai assassin guild have eradicated his arrogance and forced him to accept a new persona in order to cope with his new position.

Personality- Having learned lessons from the war, Karn puts his bests interests now in those he calls brothers and sisters. The ninja has shed the young bluster and indifference that he used to live by. Instead, the greater good and the well-being of the Narza Tai are what drives him on.

Spells-

Ninja/Agent arts- In place of conventional (I know it's supposed to be arcane) magic, agents and ninja are taught to use spirtual arts (like chi). That allow them to become stronger, faster, or brace for an incoming attack. It can also allow them to heal faster (not as fast as a strong spell). Finally powerful ninja and agents (for some reason) can sense each other nearby (like a sixth sense) this does not work with anything else (like an incoming fireball, an angry party member, etc.)

Abilities-

Shadow Rush- After a childhood of honing acrobatic and athletic agilty, Karn can travel quickly for a limited duration (very short). In the fraught and frantic world of the ninja, speed and agility are essential when facing opponents of similar profesions. Karn can move so quickly, that he disappears. So if he sees you before you see him, look out! laugh.gif

Name : Rann

Race : 3/4 Dunmer, 1/4 Imperial

Class
: Fighter/Assassin

Age : 20

Sex : Male

Appearance : Rann's imperial blood is almost unnoticable, and therefore he denies any heritage that is not dunmer. He has a slender build like his father but is about six inches taller at 6'. He has shaggy black hair that he is always moving out of his eyes. He looks very similar to his father but for his purple eyes inherited from his mother. He has the same tattoo as Rahvin, but doesn't remember when he got it; he assumes it was given to him when he was very small. His father would never tell him what exactly it meant.

Equipment : Rann carries a katana strapped to his back, along with a bow and a quiver of arrows. He carries a dagger in his right boot and one on his belt. He normally wears common clothing, not one for extravagance due to his upbringing.

Personality
: When he needs to be stealthy, Rann can be a very calm and calculating person, but in any other situation he is highly impulsive and high-strung, which often gets him in trouble. He is witty and sarcastic, and often very selfish, but can still be kind when he wants to.

Brief History : He had lived in Chorrol until he was twelve, learning many things from his father, but staying ignorant of his profession. When he turned twelve, he began training with a reluctantly-famous dunmer named Sel who lives in the Imperial City. Sel taught him how to use a sword, and his style of fighting is almost identical. At age sixteen, Rann discovered what Rahvin did for a living, and oddly enough, he asked to join his father in his work and moved back to Chorrol. He is now in Bruma, the place of his birth, performing a special task for the countess of Chorrol...

Name: Satyana

Race: 50% Nord, 25% Dunmer, 25% Imperial

Class: Alchemist, Mage and healer

Age: 20

Sex: Female

Appearance: A rather dark-skinned girl with nordic-imperial features mainly. Thus apart from the grey-tone in her skin she also have somewhat pointy ears. All in all she is a very beautiful girl, very attractive to most men she meets. She also is rather tall, with a slender body. Not to mention her eyes...dark purple...the inheritance from her mother and grandmother...
Due to physical training she is strong and fit, outruns most of her friends in a competition...

Equipment: She carries no weaponry, except for a longbow now and then. All she´s got is a big leather satchel, inherited from her mother (Brianna) containing various plants and herbs as well as ready-made potions.

Personality: A calm and composed young girl, who always is ready to help out when someone gets hurt. She is very intelligent and likes people, likes to have good conversations.....Satyana is always hungry for knowledge, she is a good listener and considered to be a very good friend. Until now she has lived a pretty protected life, there has been no cause for her to be angry or upset of anything, so she doesn´t know how she´d react on stress or trauma! An innocent girl loved by everyone!

Brief history:Satyana never knew her mother, Brianna , who mysteriously disappeared shortly after she and her siblings were born, in Bruma. She also doesn´t know of her brother and sister. Serene and Haldin brought her back to Ald´ruhn and she was raised in Sarethi Manor by Serene, Athyn and Haldin. She first went to school in Vivec, because there were no decent learning-opportunities in Ald´ruhn. Her outstanding intelligence and love for learning made her "grandparents" to investigate the universities of entire Tamriel. They found "The University of Chorrol" that would suit Satyana well considering her interests. At 18 she moved to Chorrol and started her studies; Alchemy, race-biology, anatomy, psychology and also tamrielic history. The latter awakened her interest for her own lineage and so she now started a search for her own roots. Her race-mixture gave her some clues where to look for her ancestors. She also finally got Serene to tell her all she knew.

At the time of the RP-start: In order to make a living, Satyana had to get a part-time-job so she luckily got employed by the countess Arriana Valga....as a cook! She lives in a small appartment near the university. At the moment she is preparing for the mid-term-tests, and at the same time planning the menu for a great feast that the countess is going to have.....this coming loredas!

Clever - Rann and Satyana live in the same town and work for the same person, but somehow haven't met.

Posted by: minque Oct 25 2006, 10:20 PM

hehe yes! Well it could be sort of an input....a start, that Rann and ´Tyana sort of have probably sort of seen each other but nothing more...I´ll see if I can develop things in the planning thread

Name: Voltar Simis

Race: Altmer

Gender: Male

Class: Mage

Age:: 352

Appearance: Tall with bronze skim (typical for Altmer), atypical dark hair that falls to shoulder length. Very unexpressive, i.e. has a "dead" look to his face. For clothing, he wears brown leggins and a well-made grey robe with hood and sturdy shoes that are covered by the robe. Very good posture.

Equipment: A poison enchanted dagger. His revered piece of equipment is the Staff of Worldly Demise, which heavily fortifies his abilities with alteration and mythicism. (Could possibly be used to free Veric????)

Personality: You could say he lacks personality, he's very cold and indifferent most of the time. He only shows emotion when it involves his goals. He tends to become quite obsessive (it did take him 20 years to figure out how to free Veric). A person who is willing to "experiment" on unwilling subjects.

Abilities: Voltar is very proficient in Conjuration, Alteration, and Mythicism. His ability with destruction is effective, but not nearly as proficient as he is with the above three. With the Staff of Worldly Demise, his Alteration and Mythicism are extremely powerful. His conjuration skills tend to summon creatures rather than summon bound equipment.

Brief History: Voltar started off in the Mages Guild in the Summersett Isles and his teachers were immediately impressed with his abilities with Alteration, Mythicism, and Conjuration. Bothered by the pressure of his teachers, Voltar left the Mages Guild to freelance and enhance his abilities on his own. It was during this isolation that Voltar because the cold person that he is now.

Voltar never got behind in current events. constantly probing the news of the world. This is how he found out about Veric, in which he was immediately intrigued by the determination. When Veric was banished to an extra-dimension, Voltar made it his goal to free him to work beside him. It took 20 years of research when he discovered that he needed the Staff of Worldly Demise to assist in breaking the rift holding Veric. He intends to free him soon.

Name: Veric Astien

Race: Breton

Class:
Mage...

Age: 90

Sex: Male

Appearance: Well.... In his normal form ( evillol.gif ) he is a young Breton (despite being 90; see below) Clean cut, shaved, greying black hair is pulled back into a ponytail reaching his shoulders. Roughly 5'10", normal build. Wears a multitude of different robes, but most commonly an elegant deep crimson colored robe with hood. No matter what form he takes on he always has prevalent clear, yellow eyes.

Equipment: Other than the clothes on his back, he favors an elegant Ebonyshortsword, but rarely uses it. He also has staffs stored away for... Special situations.

Brief History: Nothing much is known about his past before the events in THIH

Other Relevant Info:
He is a skilled spellcaster. He prides himself in being the best in all of Tamriel in fact. A master of Destruction, Alteration, and Illusion, and being an expert in all other forms of Magicka. He has an ability, however, unnatural for most. The ability to shapeshift, perhaps attributed to his fluency in Alteration and Illusion. Being able to change the tone of his skin and his face for a short time, he believes he has far from mastered it. It still is quite useful, despite him being unable to do too much with the overall build of his body. Veric has looked into exactly what gives him this ability, but is still uncertain. A strong theory points to being born under a rare starsign...

For the past twenty years, he has had nothing better to do with his time than improve his spellcasting, perfect his shapeshifting, and study the numerous books of prophecy that he keeps in his extra-dimensional home. He now knows that there are three children, not just one, and that the prophecy has two forks...

Name: Flogir Traalic

Race: Nord

Gender: Male

Class: Merchant/ Informant/ former Soldier

Age: 42

Appearance: Strong build, with well defined muscles in the arms. Dirty blonde hair that is shaggy in appearance. Tall, but normal height for Nords. Wears a nice outfit, suitable for a merchant, which is a blue trimmed with crimson shirt and solid black pants with sturdy black boots for travelling. He still keeps his equipment from his past life...

Equipment: He still carries as sturdy yew longbow as he favourite passtime is hunting. But with his travelling wears, he also carries his sabre, Iceshard, and a set of chainmail.

Personality: He enjoys conversation but gets retrospective when his past as a Soldier is mentioned. He served at Kvatch during the Oblivion Crisis. Other than that, most people find him likeable and don't even mind when he gets drunk. A symptom from his service.

Brief History: He served as a soldier in Kvatch and was one of the few soldiers that survived the attack. Once the Oblivion Crisis was over, he asked to be honourably dismissed. Since then he's been a travelling merchant, dealing wares and information to those willing to get it.

Name: Amrita

Race: 2/4 Altmer, 1/4 Dunmer, 1/4 Imperial.

Age: 20

Sex: (due to possible death threats of any other reply tongue.gif I will have to answer...) er...yeah Female, she's a girl.

Class: Shadowalker (ability to move between shadows, also very sneaky, with loads of magical abilities)

Appearence: Amrita have inherited the golden skin and pointed ears of the Altmer, but is still human in height. Her eyes are fiery red(part Dunmer ansestry), which gives her an imposing look. She have long silky red hair with a few strands of golden colour in it. she is also quite slim, and though it doesent show this girl is a ball of muscles.

Personality: Cold, arrogant, deadly take your pick. Due to her upbringing she is devoid of any feeling of this foolishness called 'love'. In other words she is a murderous manipulative sadistic honoured user who is quite good of avoiding capture.

Equipment: She wears a simple black robe, with two crossbows strapped on her waist. At her back hangs an Akaviri Longsword, and she carries quite few concieled daggers. Under her robe she wears a nicely crafted elven chainmail with a complete feather charm on it. Normally she is also seen with a sort of...staff, as a sign that she is a potent spellcaster.

Brief History: Amita grew up with her 'aunt' Salina, and can for her entire memory remember having lied in hard training to become great. her heart have been corrupted beyond repair (or so it is believed), and she often uses the dark arts to gain whatever she wants.

The last years she and Salina had wandered throughout Tamriel, and had established quite a reputation, and although Amrita is on the top 10 list of wanted persons, she have problems of avoiding capture.

Ewwww..tsk, tsk, see how it turns out when you grow up with an evil "aunt" And this......so called female is supposed to be the sister of Rann and Satyana! Oh what horror! blink.gif

But it´s an interesting gal you got there Tellie!

Wait how long is this after Oblivion, because Ian was twenty during the crisis, and is now twenty-six (though I could change that). So is this six years after Oblivion?

Posted by: Dantrag Oct 30 2006, 03:53 PM

The events in the first RP occured about a year before the events in Oblivion.

So it's about 19 years after.

Name : Dalrus Varus

Race :75% Imperial 25% Dunmer

Class : Mage

Age : 21

Sex : Female

Appearance : Dalrus is an absolutely gorgeous woman. She has long brown hair which is silky and beautiful. Her eyes are a firey emerald green and her eyes have a sexy curve to them. She is skinny though not too skinny and she is 5'5".

Personality : Dalrus is a very sweet girl, she very thoughtful and good company. She is, however, a little more timid in big groups do to an incident when a group of bandits caught her on the streets of the imperial city and, violated, her. The guards came and the bandits were captured, however, she has been emotionally scarred since then for two reasons. She currently works as a waitress at the Lokken tavern in Chorrol.

Brief History : Dalrus grew up in a very rich family in the Imperial City. Her father was the leader of the East Empire Trading Company, and gained a large amount of money from ebony mines in morrowind. Dalrus learned magic from her nanny and something unique about dalrus was that she had a very large reserve of magic. However, things took a turn for the worse when Raven Rock became a failure all their money was lost and her father went bankrupt. He soon commited suicide, dalrus found him hanging by their chandelier, and her mother soon married off into another rich family, abandoning poor dalrus. Dalrus soon begged for money and barely survived. As expected she was soon sought after by many men in the Imperial City. Her boyfriend was a soldier there and was one of the guards who came to her rescue. However, he faught so half hazardly to save her that he was killed by one of the bandits.
Dalrus moved to Chorrol soon after and has been a waiter at the Lokken for about two months.

Name: Sodsa Hekal

Race:Bosmer (yeah... i know...)

Class:Rouge (for the sake of staying alive, thats about it)

Age:24

Sex: Uh...... yes? (sorry.... just for old time's sake biggrin.gif) seriously now, he's a male

Appearance: rugged yet slim(does that make sense?), a few scars on his face and chest from animals, has fairly raggedy clothes, but not begger quality. edit... light brown straight hair that goes down to just above his eyes and over his ears and, well, it just looks good. He has the handsome face despite his scratches and such. Normal elf ears and he has a decent tan, not dark, dark but a nice even tan.

Equipment: a brown cloak (gotta love them), uh, a journeymen set of alchemy stuffs, a Mithrel Cuirass(with no enchantments as of yet) with all else being chain mail(again no enchantments). He has an impressive array of daggers (by impressive i mean multiple, not good quality biggrin.gif) and a black bow... geeze, what was i thinking when i did this...

Personality: has a slight hate toward elves (see history), yet can be befriended by them. a slightly hardened view on things. (yeah I'm bad at the personality part)

Brief History: He was born with the elves but at age 10 the elders of the clan sensed something and severed all ties from the kid leaving him a couple of miles (whats the unit of measure in Tamrel?) from the village and was forced to fend for himself. He continues to live in the streets/wilderness. Also, he has yet to know what makes his different

Other Relevant info: Never sleeps on a bed, his philosophy, "Haven't slept on one for 25 years, why start now?" , also can't hold his liquor(sp?) that well yet enjoys pubs:D

Good enough? Can I join? I'll try and make a bigger effort to continue this time biggrin.gif

Ok...here comes....Brianna!

Name: Brianna Sarethi

Race: 50%Dunmer, 50% Imperial

Class: Mage and healer

Age: 47

Sex: uhh female

Appearance: well in the last rp she looked fairly like http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/minque/fethenwen.jpg..but that was 20 years ago and she spent those 20 years in a safe place, having all the time to think about herself and also trying to get a life because the one she had......has completely disappeared from her memory. So by now, and with a little help from Telina she looks like http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/minque/RP%20charachters/SigourneyWeaver-126.jpg

Equipment: nothing but books and alchemical stuff. Oh yeah her longbow of course!

Personality and history: Brianna is a very calm and nice person. She wants nothing but the best for all people she meets. She doesn´t remember a thing about her past. Her first memories are from when she was waking up in this hideout where Telina once brought her. She was in a deep coma then and so she doesn´t know really who she is, why she´s where she is or that she´s the daughter of Serene..or that she has three children all spread out

Other info: Now she has decided she must get going. Some divine got into her head a couple a weeks ago, telling her to go west, to Cyrodiil, but never told her why! So Brianna now prepares to leave Dagoth Ur and go to Cyrodiil

Oh my, the Silhouette is back.. Now I'm curious does WoH run in this RP timeline too? If so we've had past experiences with our friend here smile.gif

Posted by: Florodine of Hlaalu Nov 8 2006, 04:16 AM

nah its a different thing, even if i was EXTREMELY involved in WoH, ill admit the RP failed in comparison to to heir is to human and AMU. This Silhouette will be less reckless, more Nazgûl like, the last Silhouette was more, not approachable but more human.

This one is going to be ruthless beyond belief, have no human emotion, and be extremely scary, like strike fear into the hearts of many. I will not use him as much because then he won't be as, scary. I like my new version a lot better, he is kinda like the Witch King of Angmar, if you didn't notice. I love LOTR, and have read them many many times and the Silmarillion and the Hobbit, and have been into them for years. Not like idiotic dressing up but facinated with his characters. The Nazûl have always been one of the most interesting to me.

(Also Megil and me RPed really well together and the old Silhouette would not be the same without Megil)

Issac

Race: Altmer

Age: 22

Gender: male

Appearence: Young, handsome, and has short brown hair. He's tall (well, all Altmer are pretty tall), and athletic. His eyes are brown (like Ian's). He wears short grey robes robes (for mobility, and no hood).

History: Issac was found by Ian after the defeat of Mehrunes Dagon (in Oblivion). Ian took him under his wing out of pity and fondess. After many years (and Ian's tutage) he's become a fine sorcerer (due to his his heritage) and swordsman, but also a proficient sneak and spy. Recently he's been spotted in Morrowind (on Blades affairs).

Personality: Issac is a fine gentlman, but takes after his adoptive father's analytical nature. He is kind and courtious (also undyingly loyal to his allies). His ultimate alligence is to Ian for his kindness and paternal care.

Weapons and Abilities-

Akaviri katanas- Issac is a passionate swordsman, and fights with an enchanted Blades' sword. It is enchanted with cold damage and weakness to cold. While the other is enchanted with fire damage and weakness.

Spells-

Deadra's Fury- A bolt of the combined forces of lightning, fire, and frost. It is a moderate spell (perhaps journyman level) but with the elements combined together it packs a nasty punch.

Silver Aegis- a powerful (85%) shield spell, with elemental shielding; it shields Issac, but can have an area of affect as well. It blocks just about every kind of attack (magic or physical, unless it's too powerful of course).

Including journeyman level illusion, destruction, and alteration. Also novice restoration and mysticism

Posted by: jack cloudy Nov 11 2006, 07:29 AM

Well, I'm down to one character so I decided to introduce another one.

Name : Green-Root

Race : Argonian

Class : Robber (Specializes in spears, light armour and claw-to-hand.)
Age : 23

Sex : male

Appearance : As his name suggests, he has deep emerald green scales. Green-Root is of large but not gigantic size, with well-developed muscles. He features two short but sharp horns on his head which he sometimes uses when headbutting. He further features two large fins with a lightblue colour on the side of his head.

Equipment : Green-Root uses a cheap suit of leather. He also makes use of a simple Iron spear.

Allegiance : Himself and anything that might help himself.

Personality : Green-Root is an opportunist of the purest breed. The only one he cares about is himself. He doesn’t worry himself with such concepts as good and evil. If it benefits him to be a valiant defender of justice, he’ll defend justice. Likewise, if it benefits him to be a murderer of innocent people, he’ll kill.

Other than that, Green-Root is loud, rude and known to get drunk.

Brief History : Green-Root was born in Morrowind as a slave. When the first opportunity arose, he dropped his slavers into the water and strangled them. Then, he escaped and became a robber, though without any of the charming rogue bit that was so common with other Morrowindish robbers. Through the years, the events of his life brought him all the way to Cyrodiil.

Other Relevant info :
Green-Root is close to the eastern border and will be looking to join the Silhouette, even though he is not totally evil.

Posted by: Fuzzy Knight Nov 19 2006, 12:32 AM

Alright if I'll join? Think I'm going to try a female this time and maybe keep Arco in as well, we'll see about that but here's the character...

I guess Hecate got decapitated or something? laugh.gif

Name
Ayesha Seerear.

Race
Half Dunmer, half Imperial.

Class
Peerless Archer.

Age
27.

Sex
Female.

Appearance
Ayesha has most of the racial traits of the Dunmer, the dark smooth skin, tall and fiery dark red eyes. Her face reveals that she’s half Imperial as the typical Dunmer face has pretty much faded and you only find some similarities around the eyes and mouth, rest is pure Imperial. Ayesha got long, black and rather wild-looking reaching just past her shoulders. She is as tall as most Imperial men and doesn’t exactly look as a wimp either.
She wears loose, thin leather pants tucked into her leather boots right under the knee. Three belts strapped around her hips holding a black quiver holding arrows, a sheath for her sickle, a few pouches to hold small items and vials, a case for maps and scrolls and waterskin. She wears a small brown shirt under her cuirass. She wears a slategrey hood but it doesn’t cover up much of her face though. Along with the hood she got a large cloak resting around her neck and shoulder that looks like several leaves simply connected to each other, the color is different from leaf to leaf but mostly dark green and grey to blend in with the darkness and in the forest. She wears some light gauntlets reaching nearly to her elbow made out of steel and leather to give some protection along with mobility. She wears no protection along her arms; this reveals a fine, thin pattern of tattoos from her shoulders to her wrist.

Equipment
Ayesha uses a composite longbow Oathbow made out of dark wood along with bones strapped together and looks extremely heavy to pull. In the bow there is a weak red glowing text in elven saying 'swift defeat to my enemies'. Her sickle is made out of steel with a small enchantment, only used those few times Ayesha comes in melee combat.

Personality
Ayesha’s past still haunts her personality and can easily cloak over her completely. She is understanding, open minded, charismatic and caring and kind when not in battle. When in battle she swiftly changes into the hunter she is and she becomes focused and not so open minded and caring. Ayesha was trained up to become unmatched in the battlefield on the cost of becoming something that she isn’t.

Brief History
Ayesha was brought into a separated family that consist of a father who was a mercenary and assassin, and a mother who was nothing more than a caring maid in the local tavern. Ayesha had two older brothers, but not of the same mother. Both her brothers hadn’t lived with their mother at all, both were taken away right after birth and brought up into a community of mercenaries, thieves, assassins and murderers. Ayesha’s faith would be much the same. She was brought down to the sewers and shelters in the woods were she was trained unwillingly. Defenseless against her father and now turned brothers she was forced to become one like them. She was trained with the bow and into becoming a flawless assassin. When she turned twenty it was like she had a revelation as she was forced to kill a whole family. She fled the community taking nothing but tears with her, leaving everything behind and entering a new world alone. With the few memories she had of her mother, it was like she was guided by an invisible hand (sorry, re-installed Oblivion whilst writing this) and she ended up in her mothers tavern. Ayesha’s mother, even without seeing her for twenty years knew it was her daughter but there wasn’t much time before they would be hunted down by their own family and was yet again forced to flee. But the same night, whilst Ayesha was down in the basement of the tavern her mother was brutally murdered by her own father, stabbed several times before pinned up on the wall with a sword.
Swearing vengeance, Ayesha fled as she knew she didn’t stand any chance against her father and brothers but one day she would.

Jupp, a typical vengeance story but it works laugh.gif

Relevant Information
Don't think so, but think I'll start on the road to Chorrol from Skingrad...

Sounds like a good one.

No, Hecate is still alive. He got send to prison for execution but I also had him realize that escaping would be very easy for him. He would be back. (Though he could have forgotten about his promise in the last twenty years.)

Posted by: ShogunSniper Nov 30 2006, 03:49 AM

k, for you new folks here is a description of Veric. i'll get Sadril up as well if i'm bored enough tonight.... looks likely. biggrin.gif

Name: Veric Astien

(Original/preferred) Race: Breton

Class: Sorcerer

Age: 90

Sex: Male

Appearance: Whatever he likes. His original form, however, would be an old wrinkled Breton but through his growing ability to change his looks he will normally appear around 25, light build, around 5'10". Always has clear yellow eyes and is unable to hide them. He has a glare said to be capable of stopping you dead in your tracks in fear, or is it just illusion magick trickery? Clean shaved and dark hair pulled into a shoulder-length ponytail.

Equipment: Whatever fits his role. Normally, though, he dons a robe fitting the occasion and a Dwemer broadsword with which he is reasonably skilled.

Personallity: I have decided to leave out for my character sheets. I find that whatever I write here is inaccurate to what it ends up being. ... But if you're completely lost on his personallity then, in two words: arrogant, calculating.

Brief History: For the past 20 years he has been locked away in his own creation. A castle of sorts created in his own mind and brought to life by a vast knowledge of alteration and illusion magick (it's complicated). Before that, he attempted to stop Brianna, daughter of Serene, from giving birth to three children who would ultimately spell his demise. Anything before that is unknown. Records of any parents, siblings, or his birthplace are nonexistant.

Other Realvent Info.: An expert in all forms of magick, and a mastery of illusion and alteration beyond any other individual, he is not to be taken lightly as a spellcaster. Veric is capable of seemingly summoning objects, using illusion to create the image of them and alteration to give them a physical presence. Though only the capability of creating objects is known to others, not how it is done or how to counter it as of yet. Other uses of this magick are stll unrevealed.

He also uses a different kind of magick closely related to his dealings with alteration and illusion to change his appearance to that of any race, sex, and realistic body size. Details are still unknown, but his magick affinity and relative body strength do not change from form to form and the change alone does little to mask his presence to those sensitive to magick.

Class

Age
In the early twenties

Sex
male

Appearance
Looks strikingly similar to Jonathan, save the eye patch. Hair is a but longer, and more brown then bleached white.

Personallity
“I'm not insensitive, I just don't care.” I think that sums it up rather nicely, its not that hes evil or anything, but rather more efficient then good people smile.gif

Equipment

No more undermanningness!!

Name : Asven Darius

Race : Imperial

Class : Warrior

Age : 21

Sex : Male

Appearance : Tall and broad-shouldered, he is built perfectly for brute force. He has a clean shaven head and face, and numerous scars from battles that he apparently won.

Equipment : He carries both a warhammer and a greatsword, both strapped onto his back in a criss-cross fashion. He normally wears a set of slightly rusting Legion armor, due to his former occupation.

Personality : Violent, unable to control his temper, bloodthirsty, animalistic (with good reason)

Brief History : Grew up in a Legion family; his father was in the Legion, his father's father, and so on, and it was no surprise that he was as well. He served in Solstheim with a near-perfect service record before becoming infected with lycanthropy. He became violent then, killing nearly a dozen fellow soldiers in wolf form. After that, he ran off with nothing but his armor, hoping to control his mind. Eventually, the disease took control and dictated his thoughts and actions.

Name: Sadril Darothril

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b245/ShogunSniper/sadrilfinalgenesis6.jpg you just gotta imagine him dunmeri and in black. biggrin.gif

Race: Dunmer

Class: Shadow fits him nicely.

Age: Pretty damn old.

Sex: Male

Appearance: Young looking, about in his 20's it would seem. Wild bright silver hair growing no longer than the bottom of his neck. His hair is usually brushed aside but will sometimes hide his face if he is aiming for the effect it gives. When not hidden his face is handsome for a Dunmer and not as bony as most vampire's. His 5'9" build is quite thin which leads most foes to think he is weak. Most foes Sadril comes across die quite quickly. His eyes are the usual crimson Dunmeri eyes, but frosted over by his curse. Vampiric teeth of course. (He looks the same as twenty years ago)

Personallity: Again I leave out. Unlike things like appearance, age, equipment, etc. personallity of a character is in every post made with that character. Similar to Veric's, only less sadistic, more fun loving.

Equipment: Sadril ditched the Shrouded Armor he acquired from joining the Dark Brotherhood. He now wears simple black clothing and a dark cloak; no armor. His weapon, a strikingly beautiful Akaviri Katana etched with an engraving of an intricate rose stem spanning the length of the blade. It has served by his side for almost two hundred years now and has thusly stained light crimson. It is his most valued possession. He also carries with him a yellow amulet some may recognize to be identical to one Veric wore around his neck openly. Sadril keeps it in a pocket however.

Brief History: He does what he will. He served protecting Brianna as well as hunting her down. He is your best ally and worst enemy at the same time.

Other Relavent Info.: He is a vampire. The yellow amulet combined with a maintained supply of blood for some hundreds of years allow him to walk in daylight suffering only a headache and slightly impaired senses. His swordsmanship is surpassed by few, and his reflexes by even fewer due to his hightened vampiric senses. Little experience with anything other than illusion Magick, however he possesses an ability to 'speak' to shadows. But it is more likely a mental illness.

Appearance
Black, short hair and keen black eyes. Light shades of grey on his cheeks. He looks very serious and focused. His face has nearly no expressions at all, doesn’t show any emotions. He is about average height, muscular built, strong in his legs and upper body. He is extremely quick, swift and light-footed. He has a tattoo of a strange looking symbol on his forearm of two half circles that doesn’t fit each other.

Equipment
He wears a dark cloak which reaches his ankles, usually wears a hood. He wears black light armor that can withstand most weapons and you can still move swiftly with it, the armor has several attribute enchantments. His boots has a neat flight spell enchantment on command. He wears several belts along his hip containing several poisoned throwing knives, potions, lock picks, scrolls and some rations. He also has two poisoned daggers, very well made and detailed, the blade of the daggers are formed like a flame. On his back he got a poisoned and enchanted katana which he only use if he comes in big fights. Inside his sleeve he got a small dagger with deadly poison on it. On his thigh he got a small pouch full of poisoned caltrops.

Allegiance
Bad Guy

Personality
He is a very sinister person. He usually doesn’t reveal any emotions at all due to a long life of assassinating people. He is a focused man, focused on his objective and has a high willpower. He is also a charismatic character, good to bridge and get information out of people one way or another. He always have a good time killing people and sometimes he usually unleash a sinister laughter when slowly killing his victims.

Brief History
Unnecessary, the less you know – the better.

Relevant Information
Hecate is a toxin user. He uses venom on every blade he has. He uses Hemotoxin which is a toxin that attacks red blood cells, this causes organ degeneration and generalized tissue damage. An injury due to a hemotoxic agent is very painful, and permanent damage, such as loss of an affected limb, is possible even with prompt treatment.
He also uses Myotoxin that leads to muscle necrosis. These peptides act very quickly, causing instantaneous paralysis (to prevent prey from escaping and eventually death due to diaphragmatic paralysis – In other words, kills because muscles in the ribcage that is essential for the lungs and heart to work if I remember right)
In the end Batrachotoxin which is very deadly simply because it goes straight for the heart and kills within a very short amount of time. It destroys nerves and paralyses the heart muscles. In real life, there’s still no antidote for this poison.

Jepp, I did study toxins and poisons at that time...

Arco will join as well, won't have any huge role or something as said the description just seems a bit stupid to let him stalk the group through the first THIH than he's off again...

Name
Arezt ‘Arco’ Colerion

Race
Dunmer

Class
Warrior

Age
135

Sex
Male

Appearance
Arco’s appearance has changed a lot over the years, not as it used to be during A Mystery Unleashed. He no longer has his long black hair, he’s now bald. The circular tattoo he had on his chin was razed off by a knife and was replaced by an easy and simple tattoo which looks like an outline of Azura. Fiery red eyes as usual, a distinctive feature about him really. Very muscular looking, with long slim muscles. His shoulders, arms and legs are the muscles that looks extremely well trained because of fighting for over a century. His height is somewhat over six feet - Nothing more special about his appearance.

Equipment
Arco wears his good old black cloak still, strapped to his pauldrons and reaches down to his ankles – thick but surprisingly light cloak. His base armor is mostly dark red cloth and thin leather supplied by the Ashlanders, offers a small percentage of protection without having any effects on his dexterity. Above that he wears as masterworked Daedric cuirass, specially forged for him – it’s thin and mobile but still offers very good protection, same for his gauntlets, greaves, boots and pauldrons. Across his waist he wears a bandoleer (a belt with pouches etc. strapped onto it) containing repair tools, rations and money. Along with a potion belt containing all kinds of different potions – including invisibility, cure wounds, cure poison, fortify strength and agility and more useful. Strapped to a third belt he has the Colerion Sword Collection, two black sheaths with Daedric edges all you can see is the curved hilts when his weapons are sheathed. The blades are curved katanas looking rather like scimitars; the blades are composite of both Daedric and Ebony. Their color looks like some dim black metal with a small Daedric edge.
Both his blades are enchanted, but don’t look so until the blade is reflected by light. Arco has changed the enchantment on his blades though, his first blade is now enchanted with a strong drain energy spell – draining the victims’ endurance, strength and agility – he also poisons this blade in between. His second blade is enchanted with a drain magicka spell, efficient against spell casters obviously. Neither of the blades isn’t actually light, but a century of using blades has made them feel like waving a feather for Arco.

Allegiance
Good

Personality
Even thought he has changed there’s still the good old signs left in him, he’s quiet as usual, determined but he does less of the disappearing act. He has a strong will which makes him push himself hard when different situations occur. He doesn’t like to be underestimated either. He has also grown somewhat more sensible since last time in A Mystery Unleashed.

Brief History
History is still the same, so won’t post it as it doesn’t really matter now anyway.

Relevant
Arco’s role in the roleplay will be somewhat minor. For the group he’ll be like a trick up the sleeve, being a very good backup along with being the guru in the group as he is so damn old when compared to everyone else along with very good experience with prophesies..

Ah well..can´t resist, here´s Serene again!

Serene Vantinius-Sarethi, beloved wife of Serjo Athyn Sarethi in Ald´ruhn.

Imperial
67 years old blink.gif (she looks as she´s 40 though, magic huh? tongue.gif )

Very experienced mage and healer
Well known to all who have heard of Arcyakt the evil demon who terrorized Vvardenfell many years ago.

All she wants is to live a calm and happy life in Ald´ruhn. Naturally she´s into politics as well, because of her inborn concern about the small people. She is goodhearted and kind....except if someone is threatening her family..then she turns into a lethal weapon. -Her magical skills are outstanding!

Now she have had some weird dreams......dreams about something will happen to Satyana, her darling granddaughter, who currently is living in Chorrol, studying at the University there.

Serene decides she´ll have to go there....under the name of Adriana Moranis......because she´s afraid to reveal her true identity. She dyes her hair dark-grey, dresses in a bulky robe to hide her features and sets off towards Ebonheart

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/minque/Mature%20serene/thankyouandgoodbye.jpg

You´ll have to imagine her hair grey!

Name: Eurod Galdun

Race: Nord/imperial

Class: Knight

Age: 27

Sex: Male

Appearance: Eurod has golden blond hair that is not long but not cut very short either. He is very ripped and is fast as well. His eyes are a crystal blue and he has an even tan. He is 6 feet tall and has a less round face than most nords, due to his imperial blood.

Brief History: Eurod is the leader of the military forces in Bruma County. He is firey but kind, and chivalrous through and through. His city and his friends can count on his help and his men are completely loyal. Eurod is not from Cyrodiil, however, he is not even from mainland Tamriel. He grew up as a warrior of the Skaal, but when his father was killed by werewolves and his mother developed lycantropy, he felt all was lost for him and left Solsteim at the age of 17. He has worked as a guard since age 18 and fought at the battle for Bruma in the Oblivion Crisis.

Equipment: He wears steel armor and rides atop a noble white steed. He has a large two handed claymore, though he is so strong he uses one hand with ease. He has trained a Bruma's army and many fight on horseback, making getting across the huge county easier.

Could he know anyone already? Of the good guys I mean. Anyone will do.

Eurod could've met Flogir during the Oblivion Crisis. Flogir was sent to Bruma to help assist the town when they had a greater Oblivion Gate problem. Plus, Flogir frequents that town quite often.

And Nords (whether half, quarter, or full) stick together!

Posted by: Florodine of Hlaalu Dec 4 2006, 12:57 PM

Yay, they can be friends then. Hmm well when the battle for the east takes place he'll ride to their help, afterall they need an army to fight an army.

Name: Kirana/The Wandering Sage

Race: Altmer

Gender: Female

Class: Private Contracter (yes, another agent)

Age (chroniclogical, sp.) : 73
(physical/ in appearance) :28

Appearance: Kirana is tall and slender, but not exactly intimidating. She wears crimson robes and hood (like the Mythic Dawn), her eyes are brown, and her skin is the typical Altmer gold. Her shoulder-length, metallic grey hair is worn "natural" style.

Equipment:

Scrolls: Though Kirana is an accomplished mage, she carries scrolls that have magical effects that she has not completely mastered.

Spell Tomes (like the mod)- Ever a passionate teacher of magical knowledge, Kirana carries various texts of lore and ancient literacy. She enjoys passing on her experience to young practitioners of the Schools of Magic.

Personality: Her love teaching others knowledge of the arcane arts is only matched by her avid testing and study of magic as a scholar. Kirana is also a well-schooled historian, capable of putting pen to parchment vivid describtions of key events in Tamriel's histiry and her own life.

Aside from being a teacher and scholar, Kirana is also very protective of those she becomes close to emotionally. However as an agent, she is also a skilled minipulater, willing to outwit a person as well as aid them in discovering their potential.
Kirana is occassionally flirtive, not promisquous, but enjoys winning people's trust, especially the trust of those she is sent to eliminate.

Brief History: that would be way too much information for now.......

Relevant Info- She's an expert at Alteration, Illusion, Destruction, and Mysticism. But Kirana is also a seasoned hand to hand fighter.

He wears well black woven pants,a shirt and Black gloves for light combat and stealth. He wears a black mask in the design of a dragon.

Personality: He is like an emo marrionette still stifling with his feelings. He being in the millitary, he has no time to express what he feels, but is overflowing with emotions. To him, his emotions are somwhat of an embarrassment. He has deep respect for his retired father, who he has grown very clingy to. Likes to chew on scrib jerky and has a habbit of picking his teeth. He is very shy around women, for he was raised by female nurses during his youth. He secretly loves to hug people, and some times cannot contain his 'hugs'. He tends to go balistic over insults reguarding his father, but most insults rarely affect him. He hides his skills of a cold killer to everyone, seeing how hiding goes with his job.

Brief History: He was a test tube baby in a telvanni lab where he and 4 other similar looking brothers were born and trained to be assassins. His brothers and him were trained and basicaly brought up by Sasal Valor, but he secretly clung to sasal as a father. Combat skills: He is a very good martial artist, and a great illusionist. His Best attributes are in illusion, information gathering and hand to hand. He has a brush which he can create illusions to defend himself with to gain a better vantage point in a fight; all though he tends to avoid fighting altogether.

Alliance: Who ever pays him the highest

He's back, and his age does not stop him from chasing one of the most powerful mages on the continent.

Name : Fervus Noctus

Race : Imperial (Lich)

Class : Healer

Age : 526

Sex : male (Not that it matters much, he’s nothing more but a skeleton.)

Appearance : Let’s see. Take a Lich, put him in a brown robe with hood and a bit of cloth in front of his face that only leaves the eyes open. Add gloves, boots and you’re all set. Notice that it is very dark behind his hood, so you won’t notice his skeletal face unless you practically poke your face in his.

Equipment : Bound cuirass and greaves underneath his robe at all times. If necessary, Fervus can cast a spell to fill up the missing pieces, resulting in a Dremora look. He also carries a Daedric staff, the pillar of sparking flame. When he hits people with its tip (he rarely does that) a weak eruption of both fire and shock occurs. If he smashes the staff’s butt into the ground, a big (higher than a building) pillar of fire and shock shoots up around him in a radius of 3 metres. This does sap half of the staff’s maximum charge. And the staff takes a LONG time to recharge.

Allegiance : The Salina hunting squad, consisting of Telina and him.

Personality : He likes to joke to people and really gets tired from the old prejudice that all Liches are ultimate evil. Not much else. So yes, he is a good Lich. Don't see too manny of those I'm afraid.

Brief History : Fervus Noctus was your average healer till he got obsessed with Necromancy and eventually turned himself into a Lich. His friend tried the same but became a zombie instead. The people in the city where they lived feared them so they had to run to a cave somewhere in Argonia where they remained for the next 67 years. Then they met another Imperial, who invited them over to a patch of ground he’d just bought and where they could live without being hunted. So they went there, built a house and later found out that the Imperial was some old uber-vampire. More houses came and gradually a whole village was formed with a rather colourful group of inhabitants. There are werewolves, a flame Atronach, a zombie, a Lich and a vampire, among normal people.

20 years ago, Fervus was experimenting with interplanar travelling which brought him here. Sensing the emptiness of Death (Telina in brainwashed form.) Fervus moved in and tried to help, though in the end this turned into a major battle between zombies and Death on one side, with Skeletal champions and the good guys on the other. Death escaped, only to return later as Telina the White. Just before the final showdown with Veric, Salina stole one of the babies. Vowing to track her down even if it was the last thing he did, Fervus left, so did Telina. He's kept to his vow for twenty years as he is very patient.

Other Relevant info : Alright, Fervus is decently skilled in the art of Destruction, summoning, Necromancy and he is an excellent healer. He doesn’t like to fight and if he has to, he usually just stands there while summoning stuff and throwing spells. He is too slow to really dodge anyway. This same slowness also makes travelling a pain, so he makes use of a ranged mark/recall combo to teleport around.

(And yes, it was him who just took out the pirates.)

QUOTE(Fuzzy Knight @ Nov 18 2006, 06:32 PM) *

Class
Peerless Archer.

Resented...but anyway...

Just in case I CAN still join (...hopefully?)

Name : Oran

Race : Breton

Class : Ranger

Age : 32

Sex : Male (or at least, last I checked...)

Appearance : Standing at 5'7", wieghing in at 135 pounds of wiry muscle, and almost always wearing a full plated Bonemeld-Chitin armour, little can be said about this warrior. Of course, the armour itself is often describe and as such, it has become his desciption in latter years. The usual mid wieght Bonemeld plating, and its cloth joints, have been fused with hybrid Chitin, with steel pegs holding "strips" of chitin over the bonemeld plate. The Bonemeld itself seems to be an ancient set, cracked and repaired many times, and still blood and grime covered from its previous owners. Ancient spells and prayers have been carved in along the arms and the back, in Altemerish, asking the Aedra for protection from physical harm. (ie. the dear old enchanted Shield spell.)

Equipment: Adaminite Sword, Boldmeld-Chitin plate armour, Bonemeld Long Bow. (and a few hundred gold pieces...)

Personality : Brought up as a warrior-servant in a Lords household, often being the leading Captian of defence of the manor, he has a long history of pain, fighting, and working for gold and honour. After leaving the House, Oran travelled Tamriel, and spent 7 long years of his life as a warrior-preist of the Imperial cult, after the problems with the Oblivion Gates, he found that the life of a warrior was far more suiting to him, so he once more took up his blade (adaminite, Havoc, in case anyone remebers) and traveled Cryodiil as a mercenary, learning the ways of the bow, and making a small fortune on the side. (looting and such).
Retiring 3 years ago, he once again takes to the fields of battle in the current times.

Brief History : (See personality)

Name : Semir Grey

Race : Breton

Class : treasurehunter (Ok, pirate.) Blades, Alteration, Illusion, Athletics and Acrobatics. Also skilled at the arts of sneaking and Security.

Age : 37

Sex : male

Appearance : Breton, average height and with good muscles though without overdoing it. Professional Athlete, not a bodybuilder. Grey hair and a small mustache.

Equipment :

Dreamtaker: A Steel Cutlass enchanted with weapon eater and armour eater spells.
Gleamcatcher amulet: Detect enchantments. He is a treasurehunter.
Steel left gauntlet: Nothing special and mainly used for blocking and punching.
A few lockpicks and probes.
White shirt, brown pants and dark brown belt: imagine the prison clothes from Morrowind and you get the idea. Heavy Leather boots, a dagger hidden in each.

Other possessions: Blue Serpent, a fast raiding vessel of Redguard design. Badass pirate crew included.

Allegiance : Himself mostly. Tamriel if needed.
Personality : A big know-it-all. Not much else though there is one thing he really hates. Being called a pirate.

Brief History : Semir Grey was once a member of the Imperial Legion though he left after witnessing a case of corruption. The Breton went full circle and within a few years he was sailing all over Tamriel with his very own pirate vessel. Despite his criminal record, he still cares about the land and sometimes behaves like the Legionnaire he once was.

Name : Dasirius Merethicus Gledrio

Race : Imperial

Class : Egocentric Opportunist

Age : 23

Sex : Male

Appearance : 6'2 tall and of average build, with compact muscles. Merethicus looks quite handsome, or so various women have told him: he keeps his black hair neatly combed and tied back into a long ponytail, and has a short, forked beard on his chin. His face is not marred with scars and his eyes are dark brown, with a slightly unnerving glint to them. He wears a full set of Bonemold armor in the Hlaalu style; that is, with spiky pauldrons and a helm with only a thin slit in the place of his eyes. He fights with a bonemold shield and a silver longsword; none of these items are enchanted. When not in armor, Merethicus wears clothing designed to show that he's richer-than-thou without looking ridiculously gaudy.

Personality : See class. Merethicus is not motivated by a desire to harm others, but views it as an acceptable method to advance his own causes, unless these others happen to be part of his very small circle of friends. Though well-versed enough at manners and etiquette, any politeness and niceties coming from him are usually false; this is largely because the people he usually associates with behave in kind. Merethicus desires power over others and gold as a means to various other things. He's also a tad paranoid; the only one he really trusts is his father, who'd stand little to gain from betraying him.

Brief History : Dasirius is the son of Lucius Merethicus Gledrio, a Cyrodiilic nobleman who came to the isolated district of Vvardenfell to find his fortune and avoid loansharks he'd owed some thousands of septims to. Lucius affiliated himself with the house Hlaalu shortly after his arrival on the island; he rose up through their ranks through dirty work, eventually becoming one of their top enforcers. Having intelligence and charisma as well as brute force and speed, Lucius rose to the lower rungs of House Hlaalu's political leadership in his mid-thirties. Over the next two-and-a-half centuries his wealth and power have steadily increased, and now Merethicus senior is a member of the Hlaalu Council and owns a spendidly opulent mansion in the richest district of the Hlaalu capital of Balmora.

Lucius sired Dasirius a bit later in life, in his forties, to a woman who was young enough to be his own daughter, and was not married to him. He recognized Dasirius as his son, however, and raised him to be his heir. Apart from learning how to navigate and manipulate the morass that was Hlaalu politics, Dasirius was trained in the same fighting style employed by the soldiers of the Hlaalu.

Lucius then sent his son to Cyrodiil to, in his words, "get yourself some favor from the big men in the Imperial City. See how they wage politics. Oh, and find yourself a wealthy heiress or young widow while you're there. Preferably but not necessarily Imperial and beautiful. Now get ye going already, dammit." Shortly after crossing the border, Merethicus heard a call in his head, and thus he headed for the mountains. Long story short, he's now part of the Silhouette's army, and while he does not exactly like it, he's going to stick to it until a better opportunity comes along.

Other Relevant info : Merethicus is strongly allergic to horse hair. This is why he can't travel on horseback and has severe difficulties against mounted opponents. He speaks with a slight accent and often slips Dunmer exclamations into his speech.

Addendum: Here's what he looks like.

im bored, and soldin is becoming a more permanent character than i had previously intended. so here he is for reference. biggrin.gif

Name: Goes by Soldin

Race: Imperial/Nord

Age: Very young, anywhere between 16-18

Class: Hunter

Sex: Male

Appearance: His build is clearly Nordic. Tall, thick frame though sure to grow bulkier as he ages. Tanned skin caused by living in the wilderness. You can almost see the Imperial in his facial features. Almost. Blonde hair that is loose and wild. Shaven, though he has little to shave at his age. Defining features are his clear blue eyes in which his emotions are easily read through. He wears leather. Thinner than leather armor, thicker than most cloth; hunting clothes essentially. Carries a wooden longbow that looks to be useful for nothing more than hunting though it packs quite a punch. It being his "father's", Soldin can only almost completely pull the string back. The draw strength is a little over his limit.

Personallity: To sum it up: Innocent, naive, and warm hearted.

Brief History: His mother had many men in her life. Thusly Soldin never knew his biological father. Ever since he gained the ability to think independently he felt as though he were only a burden to his mother. The most recent man in her life, a man named Soldin, helped raise her son through abuse and cruelty. Eventually a drunken stupor lead to the death of our present Soldin's mother.

Soldin the Young, pointing a drawn arrow at Soldin the Drunk's chest, scared away his makeshift father, though he did not take vengeance for his mother. Instead he chose to lead his life of solitude in their shack in the forest. He had no name until recent events forced him to take the name of his mother's murderer. (sorry if that was terribly confusing)

((Huzzah))

Name: Chraw Lowenthal

Race: Imperial/High Elf

Class: Bladewielding Cleric, if anything. (A.k.a. Healer with a knack for chopping off limbs)

Age: 24

Sex: Male

Appearance: Being half imperial, half high elf, Chraw is somewhat taller than an average imperial, yet shorter than an average high elf. He has slightly pointed ears, and his skin has a light tan. His eyes are grey, and he has brown hair down to his shoulders. (Will post pic later)

Equipment: Wears a dark robe, with various leatherstraps and two dark ebony pauldrons and gauntlets. Favors scimitars, although any other one-handed swords does the trick for him. Chraw has his own scimitar, Soothing Wind, which has a dark tinge, and a slight enchantment enhancing it's sharpness.

Personality: Calm and humorous, yet fierce in battle.

Brief History: It was a cold winter night in the small town of Bruma. In one of the many small cottages, a high elf woman lay in her bed, breathing heavily. She was having a baby, a baby conceived not out of love, but out of neccesity. Or rather, as the elders would say, the gods forced the baby onto her, and thus, she ended up as she was presently. Screaming in pain while having her first baby. And last, it would seem. Only moments after she lay her azure eyes on the newborn boy, her strength seemed to be drained, and all she saw, was a vast blackness, and all she heard, was the cries of the little boy. Until there was nothing.

And that was how Chraw came to this world we call Tamriel. Soon after his birth, and the death of his mother, he was taken to an orphanage, where he spent the first decade of his life. His mother's dying words was that the boy was named Chraw Lowenthal, after his father, an imperial soldier whom was never to be heard of ever again. It was said that he one day came, and left the other day.

Chraw lived in the orphanage, where he also went to school, together with another small number of children. Chraw was an exceptionally smart boy, with an aptitude for learning. This later sparked his interest for magic, more accurately, restoration magic, which is thought to be among the more complicated magic schools. When Chraw turned 11, he was taken in by the clerics of Bruma, and studied under them for many years to come.

Although Chraw had an intention of helping those in need, his surrounding enviroment somewhat forced him into learning the way of the blade. After nearly 8 years of being a cleric apprentice, Chraw started to practice using a sword. Chraw trained with the Fighter's Guild for some time, as well as being an apprentice cleric, resulting in him turning out as quite the strange combination, for some. Most of his cleric peers found the thought of wielding a weapon, whilst being a cleric as something going against their morals and laws. In the end, his apprenticeship was revoked, and Chraw only had the Fighter's Guild to go to. Chraw continued training with the Fighter's Guild, until he was nearly 22.

After that, Chraw left Bruma to travel around Cyrodiil. He has only recently returned to Bruma, and is now staying at the inn, enjoying being home.

(To summarize the training in the different "professions":
Age 11-19 = Cleric,
Age 19-22 = Fighter,
Age 22-24 = Misc. training and experience-giving quests)

Other Relevant info: Can use magic within the illusion and restoration schools.

Name : Originally was Patholos, now calls himself "Prophet"

Race : From the height and build one would say Dumner, but has no features as a Dunmer. The best explanation would be Smooth Face and Dunmer Body with a pale complexion. The eyes are pure white.

Class : Again, not a specific class. He uses magic and physical weapons in combat, but he has no definite class code. He calls himself an "Arbite of Sithis."

Age : Born 57 years ago, doesn't look to age.

Sex : Male

Appearance : Average Dunmer height, Smooth featureless face, no facial hair. Always wears a robe and doesn't reveal any skin. Eyes are gone, hollow eye sockets. No hair on his body.

Equipment : Purification was left in a tree near Hero Hill. He now uses Sufferthorn, a gift given to him by Vicente Valteiri. He wears Dark Brotherhood Armor. In his pockets he keeps:
Lockpicks
One Invisibility poition
One Nighteye potion
A Sheath for "Purification"
A Ring (enchanted with Drain Willpower)
A bag of gold
An assortment of throwing weapons
Magic scrolls
His espionage papers (an assortment)

Personality : Unsure of himself and his Dread Father

Brief History : His family was killed in a magical explosion that leveled his home and almost killed him. An old woman was walking in the area when it happened and she looked for survivors. She found what was then Patholos, but he was incoherent, muttering about angering the Gods with "Power the Dwarves had discovered." The woman saw the ruined boy and asked him one question, "If you would like to serve a true god who could grant you unlimited power, would you serve him?"

Other Relevant info : The "Prophet" is extremely peaceful, he keeps to himself but enjoys company. Hard to talk to because he was traumatized as a child. He almost died at the hands of two highwaymen that ambushed him on his way to a Temple. Apparently Sithis's favorite son (so he is lead to believe) is able to be killed and is susceptible to any form of weaponry.

nice character. i have a few beefs however. nothing too major.

firstly the dagger of his seems reasonably powerful. so please try to show respect to other's characters. i.e.: dont powerplay/godmod/whatever you like to call it.

secondly, although we have very few (if any?) characters that actively serve sithis, it can be borderline offensive to players to just come in here and proclaim your character "Sithis's favorite son" and to put it quite bluntly, you're more likely to impress the players (and characters, for that matter) with a stunning and complex personallity than titles of greatness. anybody can describe a character on a char. sheet, but it takes a true roleplayer to properly act it out, and thusly commands more respect from others.

however your "Prophet" does have an interesting persona it would seem.

welcome, anyway smile.gif

ecit: while im on a rant, in your first post, its fine that your character thinks that the group is unable to defend themselves, however saying that the group's "turns-of-fortune" had been Prophet's doing would be considered powerplaying/godmoding, especially considering that you just now joined the rp and such a thing was not planned and agreed upon. a character can speculate anything, but you have to watch what you say is absolute in a post, if you catch my drift.

Posted by: Priest of Sithis Mar 8 2007, 03:39 AM

Sorry about that, edited out the "god-modded" dagger, just wanted to make it seem like the Dread Father had bestowed an instrument of death upon one of his disciples. Also, i really want everyone to help me with any mistakes or over-created characters. The story is important to relay and appreciation for the Lord of the Void is the goal for Patholos. Thank you for the feed back and please feel free to dialogue away, no cares here! (except that he would never disregard his Dread Father)

Posted by: ShogunSniper Mar 8 2007, 03:44 AM

it relieves me that you react this way. biggrin.gif

it was not entirely neccassary for you to trash the dagger, i was just saying that because of its power, in order to maintain balance anyone you may attack is going to have to dodge that much more so their character at least has a chance. with a dagger like that you would end up having to deal with not being able to hit people very often.

not the best trait for a Dark Brotherhood assassin.

Posted by: Priest of Sithis Mar 8 2007, 04:01 AM

"The Dread Father commands that life be taken instantaneously and without pause. Those who are given permission to take life in this manner must pay a small sacrifice of their own life."
-First Sentence of the Prophet's pamphlet

Although the dagger is Patholos's only physical weapon, he does have experience with magic.

Name : Aerona

Race : Dunmer vampire

Class : Priest of Arkay (Fallen)

Age : 23

Sex : Female

Appearance : She is smaller than most dunmer women, in height and build, which decieves most opponents, as they don't take into account her vampirical strength until too late. She has long black hair and her once-beautiful face is slightly marred by the sight of fangs and the white pupilless eyes that identify her as a Quarra vampire.

Equipment : She carries nothing more than a dagger.

Personality : She is compassionate, timid, and naieve, but that is undergoing change with her newfound vampirism. She is obviously torn between embracing her new life and clinging to her old one, and plagued by her guilt in betraying Arkay.

Brief History : Aerona grew up in Cheydinhal, specifically in the Chapel of Arkay. She studied various magickal and educational subjects there, and became the youngest priest to ever be inducted at the age of thirteen due to her uncanny understanding of theology and magick.

She devoted the next few years of her life to Arkay, the Chapel, and many different charitable missions.

More recently, she was performing a charity for the poor of Leyawiin, when the city was ransacked by the Silhouette's ruthless army. She hid during the fighting, but came outside afterwards to heal those she could. Unfortunately, all of her enemies hadn't left yet. Four vampires from Morrowind seemed to fancy her, so one of them stabbed her from behind with a longsword, slicing through backbone and emerging through her stomach. He then gave her two options: die or become a vampire and live forever. She chose the latter, and did the unspeakable.

She became an abomination to her god out of fear.

Ever since, she has travelled with her new vampire comrades, trying to adapt to her new lifestyle and hopefully forget her old one and relieve her guilty conscience.

Name: King of Worms

Race: Looks to be Dunmer

Age: (Newly Reincarnated after the Mages Guild disposed of him) 21

Sex: Male

Appearance: Wears the Black Hand style garments that seem to catch light and swallow it.

Equipment: Staff of Worms, Shortsword of Souls (a sword that when hits a killing blow, stores the soul of the creature/person in the pommel stone), Enchanted Robes of Intellingence, Enchanted Crown of Magicka

Personality: The King of Worms was the Necromancer King during the Daggerfall Incident. He was killed recently but is now reincarnated. He was supposedly involved with the happenings of Numidium, but now he is weak and his powerful artifacts lay in tombs and with treasure hunters. He is as cold as death itself.

Hello, I'm a school friend of Revan. After months of him rambling on and on about this RP; I decided to see what this was all about. Here's Tenek! cool.gif (I'm a huge fan of Captain Jack Sparrow)

Name: Tenek
Race: Bosmer-Vampire
Age: 225
Age: 17 (in appearance)
sex:yes please(couldn't resist)
rank:Thief\ninja(the ninja part is not well known)
Appearance: Tall for a wood elf (just below average human hieght), mischievious green eyes, and long dark brown hair that hangs just below his shoulders. He has a short, thin goatee (sp.), and a light tanned complexion.

Equipment: he wears a rough leather vest over a tan shirt and pants. Wears a bandana and a fur hat, and almost always uses a couple of partially rusted ebony daggers that have seen better days, but uses anything he can get his hands on.

Personality- while being much older than he looks, Tenek is less mature than he looks or actually is. He's a wild prankster who loves to make fun of more serious individuals (from stealing their possesions and placing them in random places, to teasing them in their private moments, also less mature than anyone he knows).
Tenek has a weakness for alcaholic beverages, but he tries to avoid getting drunk. Tenek can be very reckless, stubborn, and negative when his life is on the line for something that doesn't matter to him. (He didn't sign up for suicide missions).

Brief History: Tenek was infected with vamipirism when he was seventeen years old (hence he looks 17). He has come to enjoy his eternal youth (as he sees it), but still hides that he is reall much older than he actually appears.
Tenek was brought up by the pirates who raided his town when he was a child. After turning fifteen, he left the crew and went out to live on his own. After two years, he was visted by a vampire and...... well, he won't tell you anyway.
Sometime later he sought lessons on various martial arts and became a self-proclaimed master of hand-to-hand combat and short bladed weapons.

Other info: He sucks blood from the foes he's incountered, and the animals when he's been hitting bad times.

Heh, nice guy. Rajn would totally love him. Well, except for the vampirism.

And I never knew that Ebony could rust. I always thought it was a form of crystal rather than steel. Oh well, welcome aboard.

Hello, Tenek!

Welcome to the rp. I am Priest of Sithis, and my Character names are Mannimarco the King of Worms, and Patholos (who until recently was completely insane). I have one question, Is Tenek a political person, because some serious politiks is goin on right now. Very confusing, I get lost alot....lol

Here is a summary of my Character's recent actions that were of the major sort:
!) Patholos formed a new Guild called the Narza'Tai from the ashes of the old Dark Brotherhood with the help of Karn (Lord Revan)
2) Mannimarco was resurrected and is now on the hunt for the three heirs
3) The Army of Morrowind is on the march!

Name: Cerpin Taxt (often called Shifter)

Race: Originally altmer

Age: 1043

Class: Mage/Assassin

Personality: Very quiet and reserved, he is almost a legend, a person told of in scary children's stories. He is a killer, through and through, and he doesn't do it for money or for any sense of values; he merely likes killing, and the challenge of doing so. He often puts strange limits on himself, for example, when he camps, he would rather take the time to light a fire using flint and steel rather than just casting a fire spell on some wood.

Brief History: Cerpin was born of a family of mages; his mother, father, and three siblings were all mages. He was no different, except for the fact that he seemed to like challenges more than anyone else; he would often limit himself, making tasks much harder than they actually were. His entire family put a combined effort into creating a spell that would allow them to switch bodies with each other. When his family would retire for the night, Cerpin would often study the notes himself, and think of many tweaks and additions to the spell. When the family finally decided to make the spell, Cerpin had other ideas. He brought along a pair of black gloves; one already enchanted, and one that was about to be. When his family began the incantations, Cerpin caught them unawares, and caused the spell that they were chanting to enchant his glove. When there was not enough magic power amongst the family to complete the task, Cerpin found a way to use his familiy's life energy to fuel it. Cerpin has lived many lifetimes by switching bodies with passerbys and then killing his old body, and the soul that had just made its way into it. He find pleasure in hunting his victims; he often follows them for months, sometimes years, before finding the most opportune moment to strike and assume control of their bodies.

Equipment: His pair of black gloves (The left allows him to switch bodies with anyone that is caught unaware, or doesn't have the willpower to resist him, and the right keeps a wandering soul from taking over the empty shell of a body he leaves behind), he wears a black cloak over a black tunic, aiding him in moving unseen, despite the fact that he has the capability to cast chameleon and invisibility on himself. (Rann and Serene are current owners of the gloves. Rann has the left, Serene the right)

(Being disembodied at the moment, he is residing in Ian's mind. Ian's undead nature allows his body to contain more than one soul since Ian is now technically dead.)

Yeah, and in Ian no less...... Perhaps a more homicidal vampire agent is in order. Btw, just in case some people don't know how I wanted it pronounced the first first syllable of Issac's name is pronounced like "ease."

I just thought it sounded good but didn't know if it was spelled any different than Sir Issac Newton's name. Anyway, carry on.

Posted by: Priest of Sithis May 21 2007, 03:55 AM

extremely good idea for cerpin, maybe Mannimarco could find Cerpin a suitable body until he finds one he wants himself. Although the body would have to be in some sort of death....

Name: Commander Vercius Astratus

Age: 600

Race: Dunmer, Urhsilaku clan

Class: Knight/Warrior

Gender: Male

Appearance: Slightly taller than most Dunmer, rivals Nords, Graying hair, scarred body, sunken eyes, gaunt cheeks, depressed looking, signs of alcoholism

Personality: Sullen in person, hard to talk to, commands troops from the front line, fights alongside his men, brave and focused in battle

Equipment: Standard Dunmer Traditional Armour for battle, Leather Jerkin and trousers for lounging and drinking, Formal wear that his late wife Priscilla gave him....never wears it, in his trunk
Weapons:
1) Fists and Teeth: A small hammer his son made for him before he was killed
2) Heartfire: Funny named dagger that "supposedly" touched the Heart of Akorlakahn
3) Banner: Ties it to his back, sharp on one end, never leaves the tent without it
4) Spiked Gauntlets
5) Spiked Boots
6) The Cause: His two handed sword that never leaves his person, holds it up in the air and the troops rally around him
Armour:
Aside from his traditional set, he has a helmet that his son wore when he was killed. If the battle could go either way, Commander Astratus wears his son's helmet and usually he cries "Hell from Red Mountain!" which was his son's battlecry.

Brief History: After the gruesome death of his son and the murder of his family, Vercius hit the bottle hard, most notably when he was thrown out of the Balmora Corner Club for challenging the whole bar with The Cause. Served time in Gnaar Mok, Vivec, Caldera, and the Moonmoth Imperial Fort near Ald Ruhn. Deciding to get his life in check and to honor the memories of his family, he joined the Army of Morrowind, created by the Nerevarine to maintain peace in Vvardenfell after the Nerevarine past away. Technically, the Nerevarine still is Supreme Commander, but the Nerevarine entrusted the second in Command to none other than Vercious, who was a small general in the field. Vercius brought his three cousins as lieutenants, but they were court marshalled for "illegal narcotics." Vercius has been Commander for three years, and already has an honored reputation among the soldiers.

I think it was Isaac Newton, so you're safe. I always thought it just had a more distinct 's' sound rather than a 'z' sound though, so thanks for the clarification.

No Priest, all elves live (at maximium) 1000 years, but disease, violence, etc make such cases rare.

Queen Barehziah (sp.) Is over a few centuries old if I'm not mistaken.

Is there room for me aswell?

Name : Jo'Puma

Race : Khajiit

Class : Spellsword

Age : 32

Sex : Male

Appearance : He has a light face, green eyes, bright colored fur, long bangs (hairstyle), and a robotic arm.

Equipment : Blue robe, casual white pants, brown boots.

Weapons: A silver tanto he calles Stiffarm. It has a small shock effect and a short paralysis.

Personality : He keeps to himself alot, but can be very talkative if a conversation is started with him. He is nice to most people he meets.

Brief History : Jo'Puma traveled around some of the parts of Tamriel, learning more about magicka and reading books. One of his favorites being The Real Barenziah. He soon practiced the arts of magicka, and has learned much. In his whole life, he's only learned one offencive spell. It's a fire spell, and though it's very short ranged (a radius of about three or four feet), it is very powerful, and can kill a group of high ranked skeletons. He calls it "Mist of Fire".

Other Relevant info : He has an advantage against slow and big enemies, mostly because it's easier to hit them with spells. Though if silented or unarmed, he is vulnerable.

Posted by: ShogunSniper May 29 2007, 02:08 AM

robotic arm? im assuming dwemer-ized?

it seems someone else had one... arygon i believe... ages ago...

otherwise, yes you're welcome to join. need a summary?

Posted by: GunsnArmor May 29 2007, 03:33 AM

Yes, please.

Posted by: ShogunSniper May 29 2007, 03:38 AM

how much of the story do you know? any?

Posted by: GunsnArmor May 29 2007, 03:39 AM

Not really, no.

Posted by: ShogunSniper May 29 2007, 03:46 AM

the current situation...

theres this bad guy named the silhouette whos got some pretty mean army under his belt and has already razed a couple of cities in cyrodiil. then theres these good guys who are trying to stop him with a makeshift army from MW, as well as a band of mages somewhere i think.

most of these folks are tracking the sil's army. they be... flogir, flint, green-root, isaac, -altair- and -voltar- as well as some others who sadly i cant recall.

then theres a couple people who are off dealing with this dude mannimarco and some assassins. thats prolly not the best place to join in though.

and theres also some folks way out in mainland MW, sadril, rahvin, amrita, brianna. again, prolly not the best place.

the two highlighted guys, altair and voltar are posing to be good to gain favor. altair is actually this guy named veric who is the actual main bad guy. voltar is his partner, a few people suspect it, but no one actually knows the two cats are bad.

may want to read the past few pages to pick up on what exactly is going down.

Posted by: Lord Revan May 29 2007, 04:14 AM

Flogir, Flint, Green-Root, Voltar, and Veric are all following the army.

Issac, Kirana, and Satyana are making their way to the aformentioned group after fighting briefly with Mannimarco, King of Worms.

Rann, Satyana's half-twin-brother is exchanging words with 'Marco.

Karn, my character, is the head of a new assassins guild borne from the ashes of the Dark Brotherhoof. The new guild, AKA the Narza'Tai, is gathering near the Imperial City to prepare for the climactic battle between the Silhouete and the army of Morrowind.

Patholos, Karn's second, is unconscious at the moment in the same spot.

The Silhouete is an immortal being from Akavir, leading an army of snakemen and all the evil-hearted beings on Tamriel.

After this battle is over, we'll fast forward nearly a year. Veric will gain conterol of the ruined Empire and work for awhile until he gets dethroned after his identity is realized.

I'm getting goot at these summaries. Unfortunately my fingers are getting tired of typing these tiny keys....

Posted by: Dantrag May 29 2007, 04:21 AM

Glad to see you joined. smile.gif

Posted by: GunsnArmor May 29 2007, 05:01 AM

So Issac, Kirana and Satvana, after fighting with Mannimarco and King of Worms, are making their way to Flogir, Flint, Green-Root, Voltar and Veric, who are following The Silhouete and his army, or are they following the army that are going to be attack by the Narza'Tai? Is Narza'Tai enemies with everyone, because the army of Morrowind is enemies with Silhouete, who's the evil immortal, right? Rann, Satyana's half-twin-brother and 'Marco's location's are...? Patholos and Karn's second are unconscious where? Is any of this right? Maybe ShogunSniper is right, and I should just read some of the pages.

Posted by: GunsnArmor May 30 2007, 02:11 AM

I still need to know more about what's going on. I've tried reading previous posts before, and it didn't do me very much good.

I also need to know what the best place would be for me to inter.

Posted by: Lord Revan May 30 2007, 02:14 AM

Shouldn't we move this to the planning thread? Anyway, perhaps he should start somewhere near the Imperial City, away from impending death at the moment. Note: it will only be temporarily safe.

Posted by: Lord Revan Aug 5 2007, 11:26 PM

OCC: this is sort of a concept, it can become more refined before long.

Name: {is not translatable in Tamrielic or any other language spoken on Nirm} He is referred to by many titles hinting at his savagery in battle.
Race: Plys'Iea
Class: Sergeant Major (before his force was killed in action)
Age: 87
Gender: Male

Appearance: Although hailing from a reptilian race of bipeds, the butcher who has chosen to serve under the Silhouette can't be mistaken for a snakeman. Standing at about nine feet tall, the alien's scales are mostly pale grey, the exception being the patterns of black coloration tattooed onto the scales beneath.

His long head ends in a snake-like snout, the yellow eyes have vertical-slitted pupils. Black line tattoos run below his lower jaw line and along the middle of his head, ending where his eyes rest. His hands have three long, grasping fingers.
Five slender spines, each two and a half feet long, come from his back are attuned to pick up vibrations in the air, providing a form of exo-sensory.

Equipment:

Plys'Iea battle armor- made of a heavy metallic alloy which helps to disperse incoming energy, the armor's weight would greatly inhibit a typical man, but the sergeant major can move with great speed and agility (even capable of running down an unencumbered man).

Ebony Maul Staff- a seven and a half foot long rod of ebony. Two small flail-like heads adorn the ends. The staff is the alien’s primary melee weapon.

Personality: A hunter-killer is an accurate summary of his work and general outlook. “Survival of the fittest” is a virtue; those who are physically weak or reliant on something to live or get by deserve death.
The Plys’Iea honor system still guides the alien as he is forced to make his way in a world he still does not fully understand. He looks down upon Mannimarco and his followers, seeing the practice of necromancy as a dishonorable and arcane art.

Still, despite his prejudice, the alien shows nothing but the utmost respect for the Silhouette, following commands even if they are not to interfere with Mannimarco’s work.
To most the alien is a savage monstrosity, fighting in a blood-thirsty killing spree that none in the army can match. Despite this stereotype, he is as much a cunning and intelligent tactician as he is a savage butcher of men and mer.

Brief History: After losing his entire platoon and being left behind near the Morrowind-Argonia border, the sergeant major fled into the depths of Black Marsh. This is where he resided until the Silhouette’s army marched through the marsh and gave him another chance to fight.

Other Relevant Info: Tamrielic is not a language that this alien is capable of speaking fluently, however, he has learned to vocabulate Akaviri and Argonian due to their similarity to his own language.

I like it, but there would be one problem,

there is no spaceship or craft that will come into play later is there?

Posted by: Lord Revan Aug 6 2007, 06:21 PM

Nope, not unless the Silhouete won and agreed to help my alien get into contact with his people. And they wouldn't send one ship, they'd sent of fleet. That's a little too apocalyptic.....

Posted by: Priest of Sithis Aug 6 2007, 07:08 PM

Agreed, but he sounds menacing, good choice

Here's my average joe.

Name: James Pathertrory.

Race: British (he is the unfortunate victim of an accident containing, radiation huge amounts of water, and a large wave of EMP, that transfered him to another world...tamriel in fact biggrin.gif ).

Class: Thief really (as well as annoying the crap out of everyone).

Age: 19.

Gender: male.

Appearance: About 5'9 tall, spiky raven black hair, thin slender frame with lean muscles, cathing blue eyes, constant smirk plattered on his face. Wears brown shoes and trousers. Black half-finger leather gloves, his usual Iron Maiden t-shirt, his favourite black leather bikerjacket (complete with spikes tongue.gif ), and a pierced left ear and black leather bikerboots.

Equipment: his always present bow (complete with steel arrows, 'borrowed' of course from an imperial armoury), four steel daggers (one always present in his black leather bikerboots) one is coated with a paralysing potion, while another one is coated with a snake venom that rapidly degenerates cells from inside the body (starts in the bloodstream normally, and after some time will degenerate the heart itself). And lastly the sawn off shotgun he stole on his last day of school before his 'accident' (note, if you guy's think it's uber, lets just say he don't have any shells for it)

Personality: Sarcastic, rude, arrogant, obnoxius and generally unpleasant to everyone. Intelligent enough when he wants to be, but his life usually evolves around stealing things, selling them to get money, and make a living, other than that, he is also secretely working together with a few Blades as an information gatherer.

Favourite move: "The Squirrel Move", he ended up learning that to Telina when he ran across her once. He told her, 'Go for the nuts, and you've got them, if one kick isn't enough then kick again, one of the kicks are bound to get through and bring the pain".

Former history: After his family was killed when he was nine by a crime syndicate, he started learning all he could about the tough life on the streats, and how to get himself out of trouble, he is a decent enough fighter, but in a prolonged swordfight or similar, he resorts to using dirty trick instead, especially throwing bottles of flammable liquids and igniting them at people.

You guys better prepare for sarcasm.

Posted by: jack cloudy Sep 25 2007, 02:13 PM

Uber? A shotgun doesn't even begin to compare to the spells being flung around. So lock and load I'd say. tongue.gif

Ok....why do I come to think of the old fan fic from Alexander? His guy was also transferred to Tamriel , or rather Morrowind....

Hmmm interesting, lots of strange ppl now, the normal ones will soon be outnumbered! blink.gif

Dan

Age: Old, in his late fourties

Race: Nord

Class: Warrior

Allegience: coallition defending the Imperial City

Appearance: (Since I ain't good with Inches and Feet I'll do it the old european way) he's 1.72 meters (1 meter and 72 centimeters) and has grey hair. He has a knot around his later large beard which keeps it from spreading. He has a few scars here and there showing a violent past.

Personality: He is a taciturn old man which speaks rarely and only does so when he has something worthwile to say. Speaking of communicating with others, he has a rather nasty problem, he can't speak. His tongue was cut off by a party of bandits. A healer managed to save Dan's life yet his vocal cords were ruined. He has to speak by using a telepathy spell, hence the reason for talking rarely.

Equipment: He wears plain clothing which bears the passing of time. He does have a few pieces of armour in case there are any problems, those pieces being a large chainmail vest which hangs over his knees, chainmail mittens and leather boots. As a weapon he has a rather old broadsword kept in good condition.

History: Born in a small Nordic village he left his childhood home at the age of 18, looking to prove himself in the wide world. His early travels led him to Cyrodiil where he was hired as a guard to the Count of Bruma. Bruma was a familiar town to Dan, for he had travelled often to larger towns in Skyrim where his father would trade in various wares. After a few years in the Count's service Dan realised that the boring duty of being a guard wasn't for him.

At the age of 23 he left Bruma to search for something much more worthwile to do. During his travels he eventually decided to hire himself out as a mercenary, fighting for the highest bidder. He started out by guarding merchant caravans throughout the wilderness. Bandits soon came to fear his name. The bandit chieftains soon discovered what they were missing so they hired Dan, paying him more money than the merchants were. Dan was quite a greedy man so he accepted the offer. He would soon be terorizing all of Cyrodiil with his gang. The Imperial Legion eventually caught up with Dan. After a whole year of stalking the forests of Cyrodiil, the Imperial Legion finally captured Dan and a number of his fellow outlaws. They were imprisoned in the dungeons of the Imperial City for 15 years because of their crimes.

At 38 years of age Dan discovered that he didn't have much more years of youth ahead of him so he decided to lay aside the notion of re-joining the bandit gang. Not knowing what he really wanted to do, Dan tried to become a merchant in the Imperial City, selling animal hides and various other products obtained from animals. At first his bussines had a mediocre performance but it started getting better and better as the months passed. Dan would go to the nearby forests each morning and hunt various animals, from deer to boars. After he managed to slay enough, he would take the hides of the beasts and their meat then sell them at his stall. For 5 years he did this. Eventually, Dan got bored by the life of a trader and the fact that he did the same things every day.

He was 43 years old when he noticed that life was passing by with great speed. He decided to return to his village to be greeted as a man. He had grown. He could present his fellow villagers with Imperial money and be seen as a hero. After a few weeks of travelling the wilderness, Dan finally reached his village yet he found a burning ruin, a mere shadow of the village he knew and loved. Hate surged into his body and vengeance was all he wanted. He looked franticly for tracks in the snow, anything that could lead to the destroyers of his village. He found some tracks yet they lead to Cyrodiil. He turned around.

A few weeks later he found a party of bandits on the side of a road. Dan wasn't sure if they were the ones to destroy his village yet the bandits didn't wait for Dan to find out, they attacked him without mercy. After a short but fierce battle in which Dan left several of the bandits in a pool of blood the bandits managed to subdue him. After subduing him, the bandits decided to cut off Dan's tongue and leave him for dead on the side of the road. Dan was eventually saved by a passing mage, the same mage taught Dan how to communicate using a spell called telepathy. After the incident with the bandits, Dan decided it was time to settle down. He went to a beautiful place in the wilderness which he knew very well and decided to build a small cottage there in which he could live and watch upon the trade roads, making sure that no other people would be attacked by bandits.

This is my second character.

Name:Haldin.
Race:Dunmer.
Sex:Male (seeing as I answered the illegal answer in the first fic, yet I'm alive to write this one, does that mean I was ressurected tongue.gif )?
Age:49. (Yikes...he's getting old)
Class:Warrior Priest (he is handy with a battlehammer, longswords and his feet/fists)
Appearance:Piercing red eyes, typhical of Dunmers, slightly darker skin than his mother. Shoulder length silvery hair(again from his mother) in windbraids fashion, blue tribal tattoes, about a head taller than most Dunmers(ie:he is a big mer, capable of scaring away most muggers), broad shoulders, and a muscular chest, along with muscular arms/legs, (in other words, he is about as big as an orc, only you can see that he is an elf, not an orc).

Equipment:A Elven warhammer enchanted to do fire damage(to cleanse his enemies tongue.gif), two blacksmith hammers, and Elven longsword, and two elven daggers (one of them is as always in the trusted boot biggrin.gif ), and a little anvil, case he have to repair something, full elven minus helmet, with a flowing red cape with gold embroidery and silver linings. Also starts the story with a black horse bedecked with elven horse armour.

Personality:Bit headstrong, which can get him in trouble...rather stay and fight instead of running, quite fanatic about his gods(Azura, Mephala and Boethia, is the ones he pray to), but else than that a loving and nice person, very protective of his friends, and will blow off most insults, Never stands for injustice, and is willing to protect others at the cost of his life.

Fighting capability:He is a man who can take care of himself, he is quick with his feet and fists, and unlike what is normal, he is deadly fast with a hammer, but as always it is always a bit smaller than most opponents with say a sword is. So when he do hit, the result is normally devestating, his attacks splitting skulls, smashing bones, or at least cause severe dizzyness and/or knocking his opponents to the ground.

Brief History: His mother is Telina Delvanni, but he was seperated from ehr in his early childhood(he was about five),and grew up in a group of banished ashlanders(explains the tattoes), when he was about ten, his entire tribe was killed, and he was adopted by the imperial cult. Around seventeen, he was transfered to Skyrim, to help there, and there he have been ever since...but he wish to go home to his homeland, to be allowed to pray to his gods again. After the event's in THiH 1 he went to Morrowind along with Serene (apparently). Now twenty years later, he is just passing through on a pilgrimage you might say, when he happens to stumble across the sillouette's army attacking the imperial city.

Name : Sinyaramen Fenasim (Commonly called Sin.)

Race : Altmer
Birthsign: Atronach. (He’s long since run dry. Though this makes me wonder, why does the PC always start with full magicka as an Atronach? It’s as if he never ever cast a spell before the start of the game. And no, I don’t think the guards would give magicka restoration potions to their prisoners.)
Class : Lens Magus

Age : 76 (Hey, he’s Altmer. He’d damn better be allowed some age.)

Sex : Male
Appearance : Tall, as all Altmer are. He has a thin frame that gives him a slight skeletal appearance, with eyes that lie deep in their sockets, hollow cheeks, stuff like that. His skin has a dull gold hue with a greyish shade while his eyes have gone rather dull as well. He tends to lean on a cane for support cause his legs are so weak. Now moving on to the clothes.

Sin wears a long vest with wide sleeves, a shirt and long pants that cover part of his shoes. His shoes are made out of white silk and have curled toes. He wears a widerimmed hat to protect his eyes against the sun. Everything but his shoes are coloured in different shades of brown. He also wears glasses.

Equipment : 1 simple wooden cane. There is nothing special about it. It is meant for walking and that’s it.
Money in a purse kept in a pocket of his jacket.
A spoon, a fork and a small knife, all kept in a small box tied to his belt.
Silver-rimmed glasses. Can’t see without them. (Well, he can, it’s just that everything is awfully blurry tongue.gif )
A Handkerchief to clean said glasses.

Personality :
Sin is a strange mixture. He is a show-off, prone to boasting about his skills. At the same time, he looks far older than he actually is and appears to be half a corpse, even though he still has centuries ahead of him. he can be distracted by the most minor things, yet he can also be so focussed it's just plain scary. Oh, and he is a big bloody coward, something that has come to him over the time as his health detoriated and he became more prone to injury.

Brief History :
Sinyaramen Fenasim was born somewhere on Summerset. There, he entered the local mage guild and tried to study things. Over the time, he ascended through the ranks but his career was short when he was challenged by an initiate, a rookie. Duels were the preferred means of promotion, non-lethal duels, that is. Sinyaramen was confident in his own skill since he was after all something like five ranks higher and he’d fought to get this far. So he began to show off and blow up random stuff to scare the iniate out of the duel. The initiate merely smiled and hung around till night came and it was time for the duel.

Long story cut short, Sin had stupidly thrown away all of his Magicka that day and since he was an Atronach, he couldn’t regenerate and potions weren’t allowed either. So he got owned, hard. To further the embarrassment, he gained his nickname there because as the Arch-mage said. “To underestimate anyone, to think you are better if you show your might and then to expect others to worship you and throw away their own ambition, it is a sin like no other.” Too bad Sinyaramen’s name began with ‘Sin’. The initiate jumped five ranks in a single fight.

So Sin packed his bags and left for the mainland, if just to get to a place where his reputation wasn’t ruined already. On the mainland, there were a lot of people who couldn’t say his name properly so in the end he decided to just introduce him as Sin. It honestly wasn’t so bad, as he’d come to see the name as a valuable lesson and a badge of honour of sorts. That lesson wasn’t ‘the bad side of arrogance’, by the way. Nah, it was more like ‘Being an Atronach sucks’.

Anyway, Sin had felt the limitations of his Atronach nature and vowed to develop a new style of magery that could work around it. Enter Lens magery, socalled because it takes free Magicka and brings it through a metaphorical lens. He travelled around the world to conduct his research, which caused his health to decay quite a bit since he was so obsessed with it. Skipping meals and sleep has never been healthy.

Strengths: Powerfull spells spilling out of his ears.
Weaknesses:
Horribly weak physically. A child could probably beat him to death with his fists.
Never runs or walks, he hobbles with a cane.
He’s nearly blind without his glasses, glasses that get dirty all the time and are quite fragile.
He doesn’t wear any armour, it would be too heavy.
He doesn’t have any weapon beyond his cane, which he can’t use cause he would fall on his face the moment he tried to swing it.
His spells aren’t all that powerfull in the end.

Other Relevant info : Sin’s form of magicka is a tad different from the traditional TES version. Rather than powering spells through his own reserves, he collects the ambient Magicka in his surroundings and uses that. This results in some noteworthy characteristics. I’ll try to list them all.
1: There is no limit. Sin can cast a world-shattering (literally) spell almost as easily as he can cast a candle-lighter spell. He doesn’t use his own Magicka for it, so that isn’t a limit either.
2: When casting, he is stationary. What Sin does, is to form a sort of ‘Magicka focus point’ which draws in all nearby magicka. In order to use it, he must remain in place and keep focussing on the focus constantly. Even a single moment of slipped attention or moving a toe the wrong way will nullify the focus and cause all drawn in Magicka to spread out in a harmless wave. Hell, he can’t even allow himself a sigh or a slightly deeper breath than normal! So yes, hitting him on the head or even attempting to is a good way to keep him from casting.
4: Sin’s spells tend to use the environment. What I mean is, he doesn’t lob fireballs or balls of frost or calls lightning or whatever. No, he makes the ground open up and swallow the unlucky victim. He makes rivers flow onto the land, he makes the wind blow. Stuff like that.
5: A focus point draws in all magicka and I mean all. So that includes the personal reserves of anyone who is standing too close, including whatever shred of magicka Sin himself might have gained over the course of the rp. This ‘draining zone’ spreads, in a 3d-sphere. At first it is a tiny pinprick, but after five seconds it will have expanded to a radius of two metres, four metres after ten, six after fifteen etc. I’m too lazy to calculate how far away he could drain things after an hour.
6: Casting speed is much and much lower and depends on the scale of the spell he’s going to cast. Lighting a candle takes him two seconds, destroying the world would take him several times his maximum life expectancy. So as it turns out, he can’t shatter the world in the end. I think this is rather realistic honestly, even though the times may be a bit exaggerated. This characteristic can be subdivided into a list.
6A: candle-lighter and other ultra-minor spells, +- 2 seconds.
6B: Low-scale combat spell, capable of severely injuring a single person, +- 9 seconds.
6C: Heavy-scale combat spell, capable of killing a single person outright or injuring multiples within five metres, +- 23 seconds.
6X (cause everything inbetween would fill pages and rarely be used.): Ultra-heavy geographical rearrangement (oh, let’s move that mountain over to the right for a bit), +- 8 HOURS. Yes, that’s eight hours of constant concentration and not moving. He has to skip lunch as well, can’t drink, etc.

With the timelimit, I hope I’ve kept his spells from going too uber. Even the 6A grade spell takes too long to cast comfortably in a melee. Any comments, complaints? Now is the time to voice them, while I still have the chance to modify him. I was thinking of having him start in a library at Cloud Ruler. Gives him a reason to join the good guys without ‘appearing out of the nameless mass’ at the Imperial City. That is, if we’re going to Cloud Ruler.

Here's mine. If there's anything you'd like changed do say.

Name: Indor Varyon

Age: 36

Sex: Male

Race: Dunmer

Birthsign: Steed

Class: Traveller (Rogue/pilgrim/scout hybrid)
His notable skills are: Alchemy, Hand to hand, Unarmoured, Blunt (almost exclusively staves), Athletics, Marksman (he knows some but isn’t great), Conjuration (odd style, doesn’t use it)
He also has considerable knowledge of varied usefulness

Appearance: Youthful and thin even for a Dunmer but with some muscle. His black hair is in a high style adding to his already noticeable height. His eyes are an unusually dark red. His is immensely fit and looks it and is quite capable of running all day without rest. He wears cheap clothes as what little money he has he spends acquiring more knowledge. He has an extremely light leather cuirass which doesn’t hinder movement but equally offers only very scant protection; rather he relies of evading or absorbing most blows. When he expects close fighting will be unavoidable he wears a heavier pair of bracers to deflect attacks with. His chest and upper arms are covered in tattoos of his native style.

Equipment: He has a reasonable mortar and pestle but tends to bodge any other apparatus together when he needs it. He has a very light leather cuirass and heavier gauntlets which he found while prowling around a ruin. He wears a heavy cloak which though useful for camouflage has no enchantment. His only valuable possession is his staff which has a healing enchantment. He also carries a cheap bow and a couple of darts which he uses to deliver poisons.

He can manage a very weak fire spell which is only really fit for distraction or arson, though might be nasty if it hit you in the face.

Abilities: He is not much of a fighter and will only fight on his own terms when he has the advantage. He will never fight cleanly and is happy to use any trick, especially poison. If he cannot use his intelligence to swing things his way he uses his equally impressive endurance to run away.

His specialty is his intellect which is very high but in spite of this his magic is very weak. He does however know many things having spent much time studying them: these vary from arcane and esoteric facts to a sound knowledge of alchemy and other more applied magic types. He knows some conjuration but only to bring deadra into the mortal plane, he cannot summon one briefly. Such rites take a considerable time to perform.

He has travelled extensively in his search for knowledge and has learnt much of human nature as well as arcane knowledge. He has a knack for wandering into trouble and getting back out again.

Note: For his unusual conjuration think of Hutleen’s Hut in Morrowind as opposed to what the PC does, i.e. once summoned the creature will last a long time and keeping it in control may be a problem.

Personality: Thirst for learning is what drives him but he is also a free spirit who hates to be in one place doing one thing for too long. He is easily bored and when he becomes so he will drift on or make something interesting happen. In spite of this he can be very focused on whatever he is currently studying but as soon as he knows a good bit about it he will loose interest and go on to something else. He thinks of himself as independent but likes the company of others.

He has a flagrant disregard for laws though where possible he will avoid hurting people. He mistrusts warriors, especially the less intelligent ones.

Brief History: He was born to a young Redoran noblewoman and a travelling ashlander merchant in central Morrowind. In spite of his parentage his grandfather saw that he was educated well. To his grandfather’s dismay he prove inept at fighting but did show to have a memory matched by his desire to fill it. However when a mage and retainer tried to teach him it quickly became evident that, while he possessed great intellect and understanding of magic, he couldn’t cast anything but the most basic spells. He did however prove to be an exceptional student of alchemy.

Having failed at weaponry and magic he was groomed for commerce and picked up the basics of more trades but he was quickly bored. Combined with the stresses of the oblivion crisis and his mother’s marriage to another noble he became less welcome and so seventeen years ago left to make his fortune.

He travelled to Vvardenfel where his knowledge of magic and curiosity got him involved in deadra worship and helped the cult he joined delved deeply into the rituals of summoning. After a dark time this ended in a disaster for which he was largely to blame and also the sole survivor.

Badly shaken he forsook that life and started his wanderings doing casual work sponging off house Redoran which he retains a degree of loyalty to. He studied various subjects, most notably the Ashlanders, where his lineage and knowledge of alchemy made him welcome and where learnt some of his unusual fighting techniques, and Dwemer ruins where they were often put to test. He read many arcane texts further expanding his knowledge which he puts to the good of his house.

Most recently he came across a strange Ayleid stone and has travelled to Cyrodiil in search of understanding them.

Strengths: He has great knowledge and uses his intelligence to gain the upper hand. He is reasonably fast and can run from almost anything, he also speaks a number of languages. He can mix fairly spectacular poisons and potions and those summonings can be powerful when they happen and if they don’t backfire.

Weaknesses: Those summonings often don’t happen and backfire, after the disaster he swore never to do it again. He isn’t a master of weaponry and isn’t very strong or brave. He cannot perform magic beyond lighting a candle.

I like him. I see strenghts, I see weaknesses. I see personality.

Welcome aboard, I'd say. smile.gif

Name : Savirien Masakado

Race : Tsaesci

Class : Warrior

Age : 287

Sex : male

Appearance : Looks like most Tsaesci do. Tall and eel-like, with small scales of a hue of green which resemble mail when the sun shines upon them. Mail coloured in all shades of green thinkable. He has long, snake-like eyes with vertical slit pupils. He also has quite a few scars from past battles and a small part of his tail missing, obviously hacked off by an opponent's katana.

Equipment : Tsaesci battle-armour. Somewhat lighter than Tamrielic full plate armour but provides the mobility so prized by Akaviri warriors. Composed of overlapping plates of steel along with thick silk to cover up any exposed. The silk is decorated with traditional Tsaesci hunting scenes and various battles with the Tiger Dragons or Snow Demons inhabiting Akavir. He wears no helm. His main weapon is an Akaviri katana of fine make and lineage, forged by a famous smith almost thirty years before the siege of the Imperial City. His secondary weapon is a wakizashi which he always keeps at his waist and sometimes uses in combination with the katana.

Personality : Savirien prizes honour above all, especially honour in combat against one's opponent. Despite the value he puts in honour he has little qualms when it comes to slaughtering any enemy if he is so commanded by his superior officer. He shows open disdain against lesser opponents though he considers giving his foes a "clean death" to be all important in any battle, regardless of your opponent. Accordingly, he rarely underestimates his foes and openly disagrees with all who do so. He is well educated and courteous when the situation demands it. Savirien also considers war to be a very important business which should be conducted with great care and he also considers it vital that wars be finished quickly. Thus, he will sometimes sacrifice a more secure option which would take longer in favour of a quicker solution which would appear more fool-hardy. He also has a rather odd mentality (at least in the minds of his peers) that wars should be won without actually fighting. Sadly however, that is rarely the case.

Brief History : Savirien was born into a middle Tsaesci noble family, the son of a respected warlord. Savirien greatly admired his father and always strived to be like him in most matters. That all ended when the emperor of the Tamrielics, Uriel the V, invaded Akavir, trying to conquer his homeland. Despite the large numbers of the foreigners and the cunning of their leader, they were defeated in the end. Savirien's father however was cut down when a host of Tamrielics ambushed the camp where his and several other warlords' forces were gathering. From that point onwards, Savirien always had a deep dislike for the people of Tamriel, thinking they robbed him of his father without cause.

From then on, Savirien fought to be like his father, going into the employment of another warlord at a young age. There, he gained fame as a warrior, cutting down twelve other Tsaesci nobles in less than three battles and bringing the pelts of two Tiger Dragon chieftains after a failed invasion. As the years passed, Savirien started losing the speed he had when he was younger yet he still retained his skill and reflexes. Eventually, he started commanding troops of his own. Thus, he came into the service of the mysterious Silhouette, the leader and unifier of the Akaviri forces. The exploits of the Silhouette soon brought Savirien to the door-step of the Imperial City, the capital of Tamriel, the city of his most hated enemies.

Through his years, he has been permanetly been stationed at necrom, but retires this year due to undesclosed conflicts between him and the local corpses... very fond of necromancy and summoning. Never allowed to bear a scimitar while in uniform(slashed vivec's dining table at a ceremony), he picked up various martial arts from the kajit and various wrestling/grappling arts from the nords(hence him being able to move so quick while in heavy armor)
