Arco looked at the Imperial as he moved for his sword, most of the zombies where dead now.. Arco fell down on his knees, he slowly moved his head against the huge wound in his broken arm. The Imperial Long Spear had gone right through his arm and the blood started appearing. Arco felt dissy but he shaked his head in confusion before leaning against the cold stone wall of the cathedral getting up on his feet...
He scanned around, without anyone else seeing it he saw a zombie walking around in the shadows around 30 feet away, Arco ignored the pain and rush off.. All there was to see was the little reflection of Arco's scimitar in the dark and a head came rolling out...
"DAMNABLE CREATIONS!" Falx roared, "What!? Has the temple now even abandoned us!? These were my men, MY RESPONSIBLITY!"
Falx stormed out of the temple... So much death was around
"Oh, fine!" Celia fumed. She mumbled, "You certainly didn't need my help." She surveyed the area around her, ignoring the moaning and slashing sounds coming from inside of the cathedral. Right now, her only concern was to find Serene. The others inside would need much more help than a healer could give at this point. She cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted again, "Serene! Where. Are. You!"
Not to mention, where was Acro? Did he already went in? She wasn't sure, but she felt more safe if Serene was with her...
edit : totally disregard this...
Celia´s voice calling for her made Serene run towards where it came from, eager to help out, ..
"wonder if they´ll need some of my special-pain-killers?" she thought, knowing there were not many left in her backpack
Close to the cathedral she spotted some movement, it had to be her comrades, so she shouted:
"Celia!, Arco!, Jonacin!" as she rushed the remaining yards ....."Are you there?"
(OOC: Oh, I'm am so sorry, Fuzzy! I misspelled Arco's name this entire RP. )
Celia heard Serene's shout from a distance, and hopped to her feet. Relieved, she yelled gleefully and waved like crazy, "Yes, yes, we're here! We might need your help! At the cathedral!"
"Oh Celia! i´m right here"..Serene rushed to Celia and embraced her for a moment....."so glad to see you"
It was obvious that Arco could need a pain-killer, so she held one of her shimmering blue vials to his lips..
"come on Arco down with it"
She loked around after she´d more or less forced Arco to down the potion, and wondered what spells she should keep ready....the smell was putrid and nasty......she swallowed hard to avoid getting too nauseous
"Thanks..." Arco replied to Serene before looking at the Dunmer (Sel)
"Yeah... I'm Arco" he said as he looked at the wound, Serene's and Celia's healing had done well for his arm...
"And... Serene, thanks for the pain-killers.. But I could really need some healing, I'm rather used to all kind of pain" Arco said before starting going out of the cathedral, taking away all the blood and ashes from his face after the fighting...
"I'm Sel. Now lay down." he said.
He pointed at the altmer healer. "Thanks for sending me off on a wild goose chase. How was I supposed to know who Arco was?" he yelled. "And where the hell is my dagger" he yelled at no one in particular. He stopped though, and said. "Sorry, I...shouldn't have been so rude. being captured by a mage and fighting demons and zombies all in one day can be stressful. What are your names?" he asked, gesturing towards the imperial mage and the altmer healer.
"You can take my Daedric Dagger in the house we were in, if u cant find the way guess Jonacin can... I'm off for now" Arco said before jogging out into the rain against the Emporers Castle..
"Arco!" Serene shouted, "here are some restoration potions, just in case" she handed him 2 small green vials....
Then she turned to Sel: "I´m Serene " she said "you seem not to feel very well, maybe you need some fortification?"
She took some green leaves from her backpack and offered Sel
"It´s just hackle-lo " she said, " chew them and they will give you some energy"
Falx sat down on a stone from a building not far from the Cathedral. Sure he had been fighting for the last 22 years of his life, but slaying not one, but numerous of his own comrades had taken a toll on him.
He might of felt a tear if it weren't raining so hard..
Fenris, who had been seemingly absent, arrived on the scene. His armor was a mess, and several burns marred his skin, electrical burns. In Fenris' mailed hand was a large stone head, like that of a Storm Atronach, except much bigger.
"Fawkin' ran into a Storm Monarch," he explained. "honoured user litterly came out of the wood-work, or stone-work as it were. Luckily, Nords have a good resistace to lightning magick..."
He dropped the head. "Seems i missed quite the party..."
Inside a dark room, a figure sat, absentmindedly tapping his fingers. The mage, Arcyatk stared at a small mirror much like the ones Sel had used. In fact, if not for it's small size, he could have easily used it for travel. Images of clashing monsters and knights filled the small, fragile mirror while he watched, smirking. Behind him, a dark figure slowly crept up, drawing a dark blade as it went. "What have you to report?" Arcyatk demanded, his voice now impaintent.
The dark figure knelt on one knee and bowed behind his sword, which he had drove into the ground. "My lord, the prisoner has escaped through the Mirrors." THe voice tha came from the shadowy figure was raspy, and had a tinge of a slurr to it.
The mage kept his silverly eyes watching the minute mirror as he replied. "I know fool, I'm the one who set him free...Tell me of the attack on the city."
The dark figure hissed softly, keeping his head bowed. "It is ongoing sire. The warriors are indeed strong and many from our side are falling." He paused, he the shadowed room silent before he continued in his scratchy voice. "Shall I...assist?"
"So be it.
There goes Arco. Again! Celia giggled, but swayed a bit, for she was getting more and more tired. I wonder how late it is? She yawned drowsily just as the Nord came in.
"Oh, hello, Mister Nord."
She suppressed another yawn as she turned to Sel and introduced herself, "And I'm Celia, a healer-in-training," she then pointed to the Nord, "and mister Nord here is named Fenris. He's really good at fighting and he has some kind of magic with his voice, yes he does."
She gave into the yawn, and stretched her muscles, hoping to wake herself up again. She glanced at the Nord. "You're so brave, Mister Nord, but do you need some healing potions or something?"
"Yeah, the burns aren't exactly pleasureful, " Fenris said with a smirk. "This town's really going to Oblivion.." he rumbled.
"Good to meet you all." Sel said, accepting the hackle-lo from Serene. "Serene, you're a mage, right? Well what was that black ball that sucked me up at the house? I've never seen any spell like it."
Serene watched Sel as he nibbled the green leaves, and she hoped he would feel better afterwards
"The black ball would have been a soultrap of some kind, I´m not sure because I never have seen the like of it before" Serene said, " maybe you could tell me what it felt like when it happened to you?"

"It is extremely odd if you were right lass," Fenris said. "Soultraps don't usually work on men and mer, unless they've in some way comprised themselves and lost Arkay's blessing...." He trailed off, looking at Sel.
"...So...you a Vampire, or a undead thingy of some sort? Werewolf? Corpus beast in disguise? Gotta be something. Otherwise i have no clue as to how he defied Arkay's blessing...."
Celia leaned closer, and opened Sel's mouth. "Nope, no fangs." She inspected his face. "Doesn't look like a corpus victim, and he doesn't look insane or furry to me, so he can't be a werewolf..."
She shrugged. "He looks okay to me!" She smiled at Sel, before asking Serene, "Hey, do you have any more leaves left? I don't think I have much left."
"Hmm, you´re right there, Fenris!" Serene looked warily at Sel,, "what then might this man be then, it scares me, here really is something very evil going on"
Serene shrugged and moved closer to Fenris, it kinda felt safer.....
"Oh, Serene, Mister Nord, give Sel a chance!" She wrapped an arm around Sel's shoulders. "Let the Dunmer prove to us that we can trust him before we jump to conclusions!" She paused.
"Soultrap is a casting spell, right? So, shouldn't we be looking on the flip side? I mean, if Sel isn't some kind of undead thing, then maybe the mage is the one we should be wary about, right?"
"I certainly hope you are not referring to ME" Serene replied in a cold voice, looking sternly at Celia
Emporer's Castle, Cyrodiil, Cyrodiil Region
Arco sneaked along the shadows heading against the Emporer as he took the healing vials he got from Serene, he arm started feeling better so he took of the rope and all that and drew his second scimitar...
The rain had started to stop some of the fire, but still it was much that needed to be done...
He could suddently see the huge gate into the Emporer's Castle broken up, with many dead guards around. Arco rushed up, checking if anyone was alive - but no one of them had survived. Arco rushed in, his stealth worked well as he swiftly dodged from cover to cover in the little garden before the gate into the Emporer's Quarter, outside the door he could see several flaming demons, possible Dremora's of some sort. Some guards were still alive, fighting to not let the demons come inside. All Arco could see was them disappearing in the sea of demons...
Arco hesitated, should he? He looked at his arm, it looked alright. Arco reached for his boot here he had a little pouch with three healing potions. He took two before he rushed straight for the demons, the demons had started attacking the gate and stonewall around it, their huge burning claws started to penitrate until Arco leaped into the middle of the sea of demons and spun around with his blades like a tornado slashing down demon after demon... The demons came in one after one, attack after attack. Arco parried one blow before slashing down the blade cutting the demon almost in two. But there was just to many, Arco was pushed to the wall as he got hit by their burning claws. He was almost down at the ground but kept on slashing them down... Another one came in hard, Arco leaped into its shoulders piercing his blades into its back before jumping off its back, he was about to land on the otherside when his foot got grabbed and thrown into the ground before the demons swarmed over him...
"I will not fall!" Arco cried out as he was held to the ground beeing beeaten, he pushed of with his feet tumbling around getting up as swift as his blades slashed around taking down four demons... Arco kept himself low, as the creatures almost needed to get down on their knees to take him but right as they came in he rushed forward almost getting under them driving his scimitars up into their chest...
All his dead friends appeared in front of him, all he had learned since he left his camp in Morrowind all he had learned his friends. All the battles he had been in, all the anger and the pain came bursting out of him seeing his friends getting slaughtered by the vampires in Vvardenfell, everything. Arco's eyes almost bursted into flames as he slashed around in full anger and rage. He got hitten over and over but it just didn't happen anything to him, he kept on fighting. At last the final strike came, he tumbles under the first hit before setting in a acrobatic attack under the demons arm with his left, before coming in with Shadowfall cleaving him down...
It all came to a stop, totally quiet. He looked around, to see almost fifty demons lying around by the gate. Arco just stood there looking down at the ground with his scimitars poiting right down. He almost started to cry, but he didn't know why he didn't - He just stood there...
Celia giggled. "I wasn't talking about you, Serene! I was talking about whoever casted the soul-trap spell-thingy-gummy in the first place." She tilted her head. "I was with you, so I know you didn't cast it."
She looked around. "Shouldn't we go find Arco and that knight guy?"
"Frankly, i'd have prefered if Sel was one of the aforementioned things, the prospect of a mage who can break something set up by a god is unsettling," Fenris said, his face darkening. "Luckily, the close-in-and-hack-em-to-bits strategy is unversibly effective on mages, and failing that, i can always demonstrate the power of the voice."
As the group talked four small, unnoticeable shadows flew out from under to closest crate and stopped directly under each one. With a quick dialation, all the shadows expanded into black portals and the enitre group fell through. They fell, but not down. Ever time they hit the portal, it would teleport them about fifty feet into the air directly above the same portals. This meant that everytime they fell, they we're transported into the air to fall agin, in a visous, never-ending cycle, picking up speed each time.
Jonacin sat upon the steps of the cathedral, sharpening his katana with a whetstone. The battle had been fierce, and his armour was even more badlydamaged. He was also bleeding from several new wounds, and was starting to feel a bit dizzy with the blood loss. "Celia" he called, "I could use some healing here.....". And then he promptly passed out from the blood loss
The rain kept up, it didn't seem as though it would stop, Falx got up and stretched out his arms. He decided that worrying about the long past was just a mere waist of his time, that for now he needed to find Darius. His mind wandered for a bit while he was thinking of where to look for Darius, and then either a large drop of rain or the relization that the emperor could be in harms way smacked him on the forhead. Picking up his sword he started to jog towards the cathedral.
Roughly 20 feet from the steps of the temple he noticed the gear of the strangers just laying on the ground, uncaired for in the rain.
"What the bloody hell? The twits leaving their mess about..." He started walking towards their gear then he stepped unto the portal. Flax let out a grunt as he started to fall forward into the black oblivion.
Falx turned around in time to get a hand on the edge of nothingness, where the darkness turned into land. His armor gave at least 100lbs of extra weight on his body, so much that it was a struggle to pull himself up. Durring the exhertion he failed to hear the cries of those that were endlessly falling.
"AAHHHHH!!!" It finally caught his ear when he reached the ground. Falx looked down into the hole and watch as four people fell! They fell and then they.. magically warped back up, but only enough to fall again. An endless cycle!
Falx acted quicker then he would of normally, given that the thought of falling endlessly made knots in his stomach. His brain scanned over the meager possibility's of trying to rescue the 4. Then it hit him, there was a great amount of rope in the temple holding up the tapestry's.
Falx quickly rushed in the temple, doing his best to ignore the moans, whether real or unreal, he heard. Ripping off the rope, he quickly jolted out of the temple faster than anyne would know a Knight could in metal armor.
Standing outside the temple, right over the hole he let the rope fall limp into the hole.
"Grab ahold of the rope! it may be your only chance!" Falx added, "You might want to hurry, seems one of your freinds is about dead over here.."
A darkly, cloaked figure stood atop the bell tower, watching the knight try and resuce his victims. "I will have to deal with him." The figure said, sweeping his long cloak around him as he turned to descend the seeminly ends stairs.
The Bell Tower suddenly had a Nord-shaped hole in it. Fenris had, in a spectular display of bad aim, cast his shout in a method that flung him into it. The Nord grumbled and got to his feet. "Whomever did that is going to lose a few important parts..." he rumbled.
"Eeek!" The ground beneath her gave way, and she fell down, down, down. Her heart leaped, but before she could scream, she was up again. Only she was in the air. But she wasn't falling.
"Well, that's a relieeeeeeeee!" She fell again, but then again, she was magically teleported up. "Huh--" She dropped once again, then teleported up again and so on, caught in an unusual cycle of up and down.
She heard a voice and looked up, then down at the knight who seemed to be holding out some kind of rope. Understanding his intent, Celia tried to grab hold of the rope--only to have her grip slip, and she fell down again. "Whoops!"
She prepared herself as she fell. When she was teleported up again, she held the rope tightly as she fell. "Pull, mister Knight! Pull!"

Falx heaved the girl up. It wasn't that she was heavy but Falx was nearly about to fall out do to the strain of events.
With one more pull he shot the girl out of the hole and caught her, "Are you ok?" He looked at her with eyes that only displayed hurt. "It seems that one of your companions is on the brink of death, I'd suggest that you should help him" Falx realized that he was still holding her, and quickly let go. If it weren't for the moment, he might of blushed.
Falx tossed the rope back down the portal
"Thank you, Mister Knight!" She blushed and ran towards the front of the cathedral, where she had last saw Jonacin. Jonacin had passed out on the steps of the cathedral, from severe blood loss.
Celia rushed forward to him, and crouched down, focusing her power into her hands. A warm and comforting white-ish colored glow emitted from her hands and she placed them onto the Redguard's wounds, woving broken muscles and tissues. She concentrated and his wounds gradually healed bit by bit.
After several moments, the glow disappeared and Celia's shoulders slumped. She smiled shyly at the Redguard. "Wake up, sleepy-head," she whispered softly.
Joncain groaned. He had a headache worse than a noght spent frinking Nordic Mead. He opened his eyes to see Celia crouched over him, a shy smile on her face. "Thanks Celia" he said, "I was nearly done for there"
She giggled. "How was your beauty sleep, Jona?" Celia paused. "Can you get up?" She gently, but firmly tugged on his arms, trying to get him up. "You better get on your feet, because something weird's going on..." She grunted due to the effort it took. "Help me abit, will you?"
"At least one of us finds this amusing" said Jonacin, struggling to his feet. "Thanks for helping me out there. Let's go help the others"
It took a little while but Falx managed to pull the rest of the strangers up out of the odd hole. He looked at everyone, who seemed to know more than him and said,
"What in the name of the Nine Divines was that thing? And what is going on here!"
After making sure Celia and Jonacin were okay, Sel stood up.
"Well, since I know that I am not undead, or any other strange things you suspect of me, I would suspect that this mage I met would be responsible for all of these things..."
OOC: sorry i missed so much, i had to get my internet working again.
"Mage? I've seen no mage, unless you mean these two over here?" Falx pointed to Celia and Serene
"If so I ought to end your miserable lives right now..." Falx looked at them menacingly
"You jump to conclusions too fast." Sel said almost disrespectfully. "The peasant in the house...he was the mage that sucked me up in his soultrap spell. He had me prisoner, but I escaped....but looking around, I don't think we have too much time to sit and listen to my fireside tales." Sel then added rather tauntingly, "I think I just saved you. Serene would have fried you before your sword cleared its scabbard. Now, might we continue without blaming comrades?"

Falx ended his rambling and turned to this stranger that had spoke up, "Saved me? Who the hell are you and where did you come from? Last I checked I just saved four different people from a very exciting death."
Falx turned around to pick up his sword off the ground, "You seem to forget Dunmer, I am a knight in the imperial legions, a man of noble blood, a man that has fought to keep this wreched land from the hands of the deadra! As it stands I am in charge here! I give the orders, and if you want to threaten me with someone else's magick to prove your point then I believe that you are no better then the countless beasts, creatures, men, and mer that I've slayn in the past!"
The rain felt cool on Falx's face, he then broke out in a laugh that slowly turned into a sob, "How many times did you have to slay your friends? How many times have you had to murder your brothers!? Never will you know how I feel, never will you understand."
A flash of lightning lit up the night sky, Falx walked out into the clearing, " GO AHEAD! STRIKE ME WITH YOUR MAGICKS!! IT WILL ONLY GIVE ME A REASON FOR YOUR BLOOD TO BATHE MY SWORD!" The evil was coursing through Falx's veins threatining to over take him, but then the words in the dream came to him,
"Stay valiant my warrior"
It was enough to calm him. Falx sat down on the cold, wet sidewalk alone. He cried, not for himself, not for the strangers, not even for the state of the empire. He didn't know why he cried, he just did.
Jonacin was slightly confused. He had just seen the knight go from insane fury to crying like a baby, and was worried that his mind might have broken under the strain of the past few hours. "Celia, maybe you should help him. You seem teh most suited for that kind of job out of all of us"
"Wow. I had no idea." Sel said, shuffling his feet. "I think Jonacin's right, Celia, I surely couldn't help him right now."
He sat down on the ground and put another hackle-lo in his mouth.
Celia shrugged. "Personally, I think Serene's better suited for this. After all, I'm just a young girl..."
She tentatively patted the knight's shoulder, unsure of what to say. "There, there, mister Knight. 'Keep your chin up, even when things get tough,' is what my momma used to say." She paused, and commented thoughtfully, "Think about it, would your friends and the other knights want you to sit about, crying, when there's people who may really, truly need your help? You're still alive, aren't you? Wouldn't they want you to complete your duty, no matter what?"
Blushing, she whispered, "I should be crying, too, because my family lives here. Who knows what happened to them?" Tears nearly filled her eyes, but she shook them away. "But I'm going to stand tall, no matter what. My momma don't want no crying, no giving up, so I won't!" She glanced at the knight. "Would your friends want you to give up?"
Still unsure of what to do, Celia shly stepped away from the knight, giving him room to think. (And to avoid getting hit, in case he gets too emotional or angry.)
As Celia was walking back towards him from the knight, Sel grabbed her arm.
"I think you helped him a lot." He said before laying down for some much needed rest.
"Well well well. I see you are not as strong as my lord seems the think." A shadow lept from underneath a nearby rock and centered itself under the group. "I can more thatn defeat you all. My magics are from the lord of Oblivion himself." The dry voice gave a slight cackle and then reverted into a strong whispher that had a sing-song tone to it. "Look out belo-www!"
Cyrodiil City, Cyrodiil Region
Arco shaked his head, he was confused after just standing there... All the flash backs he had got from his friends deaths. He closed his eyes, seeing all again. Where was the others? He thought, it had been a while. He wasn't sure if they were still at the cathedral, but he really didn't care. He spun his scimitars around before taking them down and started moving out of the Emporer's Quarter leaping onto the wall and taking a swift jump over to the house roofs, he ran up on the top...
From there he could see to the cathedral on the little hill, his clear and long ranged vision he could clearly see Jona, Falx, Sel and the others. It was like he had finally met some new friends, but he didn't know. Should he go back? He looked away for a moment, thinking - No.. He didn't want to go back for a reason, he flash backs reminded him of those memories he already had forgotten... Arco just satt down on one knee, he took up his scimitars again and started to scan over the city...
Sel opened his eyes.
"Damnit." He whipsered to himself. He couldn't sleep with his conscience bothering him.
Sel walked over to the knight and sat down beside him.
"Yeah, umm...I don't say this often or easily, so...I'm sorry. All those things I said, I didn;t mean to hurt you or anything. I said it out of loyalty to some new friends - and honestly - out of contempt for the Empire. But I can't blame you for the empire's injustices. Anyways, I just couldn't have you hacking Serene, Celia, and me to bits on a whim could I? So get up and let's get moving, you can hate me all you want, but I think we still need each other. What do you say?"
Falx was ashamed for his outbursts early, he was Knight, and he was a Dragon Rider. He decided that it would be best to befriend these strangers... and apoligize like a civilized man would.
"Let me first apologize. For over 20 years I have been fighting in the emperor's name, 20 years have I nearly been to the brink of death, and several times I've seen my family and freinds go further."
The adamantine(SP?) tower seemed to gleem in the distance, something was threatening the emperor and he knew it.
Falx stood up, and spoke with a renewn vigour, "I am ashamed for my laps of better judgement early, but now I understand."
Falx turned so everyone could hear him, "I had a dream whilst I was unconcious, it was horrible. Cyrodil will fall, it is only a matter of time. The lady of the twilight undoubtly calls me and several others to fight this power that is over taking nirn."
He looked all of them in the eye, "I was before you as a weakling, a man that could just weild a sword not use it. Now I look at you with greater understanding and contempt to know that I am around freinds. For the sake of Nirn we must get the emperor out of the city, if he falls, so will fall the gates of oblivion, again."
He gathered them together as close as possible, "We need to save as many people in the city as possible. I say we split up and one group assist the emperor, and the other with the refugees." Falx looked at them awith a determined eye, "Oh, by the way, my name is Falx Albarnias, but everyone just calls me Knight."
"Im no fan of the Emperor, but I'll go for the lesser of two evils here." Sel said. "Where to, Knight?"
"The tower, that is where he would be located. He has numerous guards, and I saw one of your comrades run for it so he should be safe."
Sel tightened his sword belt and stuck the daedric dagger Arco had given him in it.
"Let's go." He turned to Serene and Celia. "Coming?"
OOC: Hukai, nobody knows what you're trying to do with us....might want to clarify.
"I'll come too, thanks for the invite" said Jonacin sarcastically
Sel smiled. "You aren't as pretty as these two. It's easier to ignore you."
"Thanks. That makes me fell so much better" said Jonacin sourly. "Let's just get moving, shall we?"
"Well well well. I see you are not as strong as my lord seems the think." A shadow lept from underneath a nearby rock and centered itself under the group. (OOC: HE'S UNDER YOU! {Not under Sel and lonewolf cause they left})
The shadow shot up, forming a tall, cloaked figure wielding a black blade. "Who hall I kill first?" He voice lingered on "first" sending chills up Celia's spine. It then continued in sing-song. "Who will I killllll? Who will I killlllll? I'll kill-you-all an-yway..."
Jonacin spun as the strange figure appeared behind them, it's sibilant voice hissing "who will i killllllll?"
He drew his sword. "Run! I'll hold him off here! GO!" he shouted, readying his weaponry, waiting for the strange creature to make the first move
Sel looked to Jonacin. "Guess we'll have to stick around here for awhile."
He pulled out his sword and dagger and rushed the shadow. He stabbed with the dagger, but it went right through the strange beast. He slashed with his sword, and did minimal damage to it.
He yelled to his companions. "Only magical weapons harm it!"
"Good thing Daedrci weapons are inherently magical then" said Jonacin with a grim smile. He swung his sword at the creature, but it dodged aside nimbly, lashing out at him and hitting his shield. He grunted with the force of the blow, but didn't budge
(OOC: :< *underbreath* at least you know I'm here now, but it's the wrong people...)
The figure stood there, cackling as the Sel threw another direct hit and missed. "I can not be harmed by even magical weapons! AH HA HA HA HA HAAAA!!" The figure melted into the ground and poped up behind Jonacin, smiling with an insane glint in his yellow eyes. He was prepared to dodge if anyone tried to hurt him with magic. "Come little rabits! Come hop to your slaughter!" The figure cakled once more before melting into the ground again.
"Oh, so we can't hurt him can we not? Well we can bloody well try anyway" sadi Jonacin, waiting for the creature to appear again
Sel threw his dagger to the ground, it not being of any use anyway. He gripped his longsword in both hands and waited for the shadow to appear again. It appeared behind Jonacin...
OOC: The thing wasn't behind me anymore, it had melted back into the ground again
Jonacin heard the growl of rage behind him, and spun, his sword slashing at head height to himself. The blade thudded against the creatures neck, but the damge done was minimal

yeah, we posted about the same time....I'll edit i guess.
OOC: The thing wasn't behind me anymore, it had melted back into the ground again
Jonacin heard the growl of rage behind him, and spun, his sword slashing at head height to himself. The blade thudded against the creatures neck, but the damge done was minimal
The figure melted into the ground, as if being absorbed like water. "Let's see if you can't hit me." The shadow flew over the soaked street and stopped on the side of a wall. "Oly oly oxein-free!" He cackled again and waited.
Sel watched the shadow go, but didn't move.
"I say we ignore it and go for the emperor." Sel said to everyone. "We should probably separate so this shadow can only follow one group." Sel thought for a minute. "How about Jonacin and I act as one group and Celia, Serene, and Falx act as another?"
Sel tossed one of his amulets to Celia.
"Use this only in extreme circumstances. It will teleport you to me. Just make sure Serene and Knight are touching you so they come too."
Sel picked up the dagger he borrowed from Arco. "Let's go."
Celia glanced at the amulet, then at Jona's and Sel's faces. "All right..." she agreed reluctantly.
She turned towards Serene and the Knight. "How are you feeling, mister Knight? Do you think you can handle the more sword-to-flesh combat? Serene and I will remain very close behind you. I'll heal and whack from your right side, and Serene will use magic on anything coming from the left. How does that sound?"
"If everyone is alright, I say we get moving." Sel said, sheathing his sword.
"Not so fast!" The shadow lept off the wall and morphed into the cloaked figure once again. He was flying towards them. In midflight, he tore his cloak off, finally being revealed as a Khajiit. The Khajiit had dark yet golden fur that was slicked back due to being saoked from the rain. His limbs had seemed to be chopped of and reattacked with a black gel. Hiw golden eyes had sideways pupiils and his bared teeth looked as it they were permanetly satined with blood. He had on a jet black curiass and black clothes while alos wielding two scabbered, black longswords. "AHHH!!!!"
Sel's hand went to the hilt of his sword. "What do you want?" he asked the khajiit.
He knew he could never defeat the strange khajiit by himself, and doubted that his side could win if it was Knight, Jonacin, Celia, serene, and himself against the khajiit.
He was still more than eager to try.
Celia nearly jumped out of her skin as the mysterious Khajiit seemed to pop out of the nearest wall. "Oh!" She pulled Serene to the side, whispering in Serene's ear, "Come on, Serene--We're gonna need magic quick!"
Sel's knuckles were turning white as his grip tightened even more on his sword hilt.
He looked at all the grim faces around him and changed his mind about the khajiit's power. He thought that this khajiit might be in for more than he bargained for.
The unnamed Khajiit landed a few yards away from the group, his gel-like joints glistening in the rain. "Do you mean to fight me?" His bared teeth grew wider in what could have been a smile. "How foolish." The figure drew both of his black katanas, having the left one pointing dwon and the right one point up. The horrid Khajiit drew himself into a strong stance. His blades encompassed him like a 360 degree shield, ready to parry and attack in any given instant. "Try me then."
Sel wiped his wet hair out of his face before drawing his longsword from its scabbard. The sword's green glow brightened as if reflecting Sel's anger.
Sel held the sword in his right hand defensively while pulling his borrowed dagger from his belt.
Sel answered the stranger's challenge. "Gladly."
The Khajiit lunged forward, keeping the circle of longswords aroung him. He reached Sel, Jumpedinto the air, and plunged down at him, both swords stabbing downards.
as Serene grasped the situation and as Celia whispered they needed magic..she acted like a machine....
Quick moment of concentration ...then she reached out to actually touch the khajiit, or at least get as near as åpossible
"Vomica Cruor!!"she yelled....a blueish spark emerged from her hand, the creature looke rather surprised as the magic fire started to eat him from inside......
(OOC: NOT CREATURE! *cries*)
The Khajiit flew to the side and into a already damaged wall. As the dust quickly settled in the rain, he stood there, with no singed fur to be seen. "That was foolish girl." He spat. The Khajiit took his swords and brought the hilt of each close together in sucha way that they were compleletly horizontal. With a quick thrust, he snapped both end togethers and the two black longblades formed a single staff. The only difference was that this staff had blades in place of meatal or wooden poles. He took his new weapon in hand and brought it to rest by his side, now forming a new stance. He closed his eyes. "Yom to-ken no-riee...Yom to-ken no-riee...Yom to-ken no-riee..." As he chanted, his sabre-staff began to glow ominously with a blue fire. The fire itself neither blew in the wind or fizzled in the rain. Ending his chant, the Khajiit opened his eyes and slightly tapped the ground with his firey sabre-staff. A hot blast of fire erupted from the spot and spead out in ten feet from the point of contact. It seared the ground dry and instantly evaporated the water in it's path. As it ened, it cooled and slowed, freezing the raindrops near it. Then the short balst dispressed.
"You brought yourself into this girl." He yelled, leaping into the air. "PREPARE TO DIE!"
Arco could see from the house roof the bright blue light coming from Serene's hand, and of course the Khajiit. He went to the edge of the house, it was high almost a 20 feet drop. He satt almost down looking over watching the fight. He didn't want to act, not yet...
Sel decided it was time to repay the favor Serene paid him. He jumped into the side of the khajiit, preventing the creature from getting to Serene.
They fell into a rolling heap, and Sel felt the blades piercing him over and over....
Falx had taken up a defensive position in front of Celia and started to study the Khajiit.
"It must have a weakness!" Falx muttered to himself. Then his saw it. The horrible beasts sword swing was always a second slower then Falx's own swing.
"If timed right I could throw all my power into one swing and hope that it would cause a joint injury for lack of a better blocking connect." He thought to himself as he made his way towards the fight.
Falx swung the broadsword at the creature to get it off Sel, and gain its attention on him. The Khajiit spun around and both Falx and it attacked with their swords, Falx doing an uppercut, and the Khajiit choping down.
Falx gained enough momentum in the swing and reached the point the would be considered the most level fighting stance before the beast. Throwing the last of his power in his arms into the swing of his sword, Falx struck the Khajiits blade at just the right angle, not a inch off, to cause both of the blades to fly up into the air and away from the creature.
Falx shoved the hilt of his sword into the stunned Khajiit's face...
Sel slowly got up, leaning far to the left and clutching that side, but he still clutched his sword, and his eyes still had anger burning feircely in them. He limped closer to the khajiit, and watched as Falx performed a clever move on the creature.
Sel used his right hand to swing his sword into the khajiit's arm. Black blood showered from the creature as its arm hit the ground. The khajiit was now between him and Knight, unarmed in more ways than one.
OOC: I thought that last phrase was very clever! :lickinglips: I'm awesome!
His sword pointed at the throat of the now prostrate Khajiit, Falx yelled at it in a threatening tone, "You! We outa slay you right now for all of Tamriel to see..."
Falx pushed the tip of the sword harder into it's neck.
"So, tell us where you came from, and maybe you can have your arm back." Falx said with a roguish grin.
Sel looked at Falx.
"I hope you have this under control..." Sel said before collasping in a pool of his own blood.
Sel looked at Falx.
"I hope you have this under control..." Sel said before collasping in a pool of his own blood.
"Hmmm, that might be a problem" Falx stated as he looked at Sel's limp body.
"Can we get a healer over here!"
Ok, Celia! Serene went over and gathered as much magicka she could. Hopefully Celia has some powers left......the Vomica cruor took almost all I got..
Okay Sel....try not to move now and we´ll help you..
The now injured Khajiit stared into his captor's face, not glancing when his companion fell. He gave a small laugh sounded as if he were hissing. "You claim victory too soon, my friend." He gave another short ckackle before melting into the ground once more. In seconds, he formed next to his double bladed staff with arm and all put back in place. (OOC: PAYBACK) Before anyone could move, the Khajiit grabbed his staff, relit it's powerful firey magics and slammed it hard into Falx's own shoulder, forcing him top fall to the ground in pain. As Falx fell, the nameless Khajiit tore after the girl trying to heal Sel. "READY OR NO-OT!"
"HERE I COME!"
Celia was about to combine her healing efforts with Serene when the strange Khajiit injured the Knight and started approaching towards Serene. "Oh, no!"
She screwed up her courage and stepped in front of Serene, her hammer in her hand, ready to bash. "Bring it on, Mister Strange Khajiit!"
"honoured user" Falx muttered after eating a mounthful of mud, "Wait till I get my hands on you.." Falx slowly got up and noticed that the injury might of been fatal if not for his steel armor.
The Khajiit was moving towards Celia, Falx had to act fast...
"Damn, I think I've misplaced my moon sugar" Falx yelled as loud as he could, "Hey, mister Khajiit! Can you help me find it!" He taunted it in a vain chance at hope.
O-o Celia, Serene shouted, that kitty is coming for us..
quickly she took out something from under her shirt
"come on kitty she said in a smooth voice, mommy has something for you
She opened her hand and showed Celia the fine white crystals
"moon-sugar!"
Sel looked up at Serene and said with a gurgly voice
"Don't bring him closer!" Sel coughed up more blood.
OOC: almost too creative this moon sugar idea...
Celia nodded, understanding the mage's intent. She sidestepped, so that the Khajiit may see Serene and the crystals. Celia smiled sweetly and cooed, "Yes, mommy has some yummy treats for you!" As she talked, she slowly, very slowly, crouched over Sel and started focusing her healing onto him. She healed him ever so slowly, trying not to make any sudden moves, but still tensed herself for any upcoming attack...
(OOC: Must be quick have to go! Minque can control the Khajiit until I get back as she hasn't chopped his arm off yet. My plan: He falls for sugar out of habit, is badly wounded, and dissappears. !!! BYE!)
Sel looked at Celia and Serene trying to coo such a deadly opponent. If he could have breathed, he would have laughed at their strategy.
He closed his eyes and let Celia's healing magic flow through his wounds.
As Celia waited for the Khajiit's response, she continued focusing on her healing. But she couldn't concentrate well with her eyes on the Khajiit, so, placing her trust in Serene, she closed her eyes. The healing went by much faster, and pretty soon, a majority of Sel's injuries were cured.
Celia let out a slow breath, and she glanced down at Sel. A corner of her mouth turned up in a tiny smirk. She whispered in a small voice, "Hey, Sel, I think you extended the beauty sleep limit. Methinks you are beautiful enough, so get up, m'kay?"
Falx slowly crept behind the Khajiit, of course moon sugar would work, even if it was an evil Khajiit. Falx readied his sword, it wasn't but 1 foot from stabbing the being.
Falx tripped over a large stone he didn't see, his sword was plunging towards the Khajiit.
Fenris merely grinned. He stood near serene, ready to deal with the Khajiit if he didn't go for the sugar. He doubted the feline could survive a shout at short range, getting hit with a shout was like hitting a wall, it could shatter bone like twigs if enough force was applied, not to mention sending the target airborne.
Fenris merely grinned and waited.

Sel smiled, "I doubt my beauty is any comparison to yours, and you haven't even slept."
He slowly got up and tried to wipe his sword off on his shirt, but just ended up getting more of his blood onto it. He shrugged and just held it in his hand. He watched Falx fall towards the khajiit...
"Oh hell" He managed to let out before the sound of a shreiking Khajiit was overtaking everything.
The sword peirced through it's leg...
Sel just sat down, watching the spectacle, because while he was healed, he had still lost a lot of blood that only time could regenerate. It appeared to Sel that everything was under control, so he didn't feel any real need to get up and help.
He did however, continue to try to get the blood off his sword, to no avail. His blood-soaked shirt only added more to it.
It didn't look like they had the Khajiit under control, at least Arco thought that. Arco took the chance and leaped over to the next roof before leaping over to the other with complete balance and swift moves almost impossible to see...
Suddenlty he comes leaping into the middle of the crowd of Serene, Sel and the others with his weapons drawn tumbling around before rising right next to Sel throwing him Arco's last healing potion...
"Take this... Never go without one" Aroc said, Arco had to much experiance with beeing alone and always beeing prepared for everything..
All could clearly see Arco had gotten some new wounds, big wounds. But it looked like he didn't even notice them, was like he had changed. His eyes was almost burning in anger but he seemed calm.
Sel caught the healing potion, and set it down beside him. Arco looked to need it more than he. Sel finally got up and had his sword ready for anything that came his way.
OOC: Hukai, we need you to control your character to continue with the RP. Not too much we can do without knowing what the khajiit does.
and I have a new avvy
Celia nodded, understanding the mage's intent. She sidestepped, so that the Khajiit may see Serene and the crystals. His swords lowering, the Khajiit lulled to a stand-still. his eye on the moon suger in Celia's hand. Even being the powerful fighter hes was, he still was mortal, not to metion a Khajiit. By an almost natural law, Khajiits love moonsugar and he, being no exception, dropped his flaming sabre-staff to the ground and stared absentmindedly at the sugar crystals that were slowly being washed away in the rain.
(OOC: Is it still raining?)
Sel's jaw dropped in astonishment. And yet, he was almost disappointed that such a powerful foe could be brought down by narcotics. What kind of dark warrior was this?
The young dunmer shook his head.
OOC: yes it's raining.
The Khajiit slowly stepped towards Celia, his breath slow and stead. The warrior's eye never left her hand. As he walked, purring softly, his ears perked up as if listening for something. He was a few feet away from her now, reached silently out with a gentle claw to touch the sugars. His ears fidgeted adn his glassy eyes grew sharp. With a quick kitten-like yelp, he turned a started to dash back for his weapon which had been dropped far away.
Sel had been watching the khajiit closely, mainly because he was walking towards Celia with a crazed look in his eye. When the cat-like person went for his double-bladed sword, Sel immediately dove for it to prevent the warrior from getting to it. He grabbed the khajiit's staff and plunged it into its shoulder. The khajiit transformed into a grey mist as he was stabbed.....
Inside a dark dark, the unnamed Khajiit appeared out of thin air, only to land on the cold, hard, stoney floor. A strong voice periced the darkness. "After all the power, that I gave you." The voice slightly rose in anger as it continued. "After all the training I put you through; You allow a mere handful of MORTAL TO DEFEAT YOU?!??!!?" The voice dropped back down as the Khajiit stammered in reply. "Master, I did nothing wrong. It was only a slight,"
"A slight misunderstanding and it won't happen again?"
The Khajiit nodded, his yellow eye wide and panic-stricken. "No master. It won't" The voice paused, as if considering him. "Fine, you are right, it will never-happen-again."
"Ma-ma-master?"
With the speed of thunder, the Khajiit vansihed, leaving only the smell of singed fur and his dark curasis behind.
OOC: rest would be awesome. I don't think Celia has napped yet. All of sel's naps were from being knocked out - not very restful. I think serene took a nap and that's it lol.
back to the RP -
Sel threw down the double-bladed sword as it began to disentegrate into nothingness.
"I guess that's that." Sel remarked dryly. He picked up the potion he had left on the ground and threw it to Falx.
"You might need this for your shoulder." Sel said to the knight. And to no one in particular, added. "I'm going to sleep." He found a rock, propped his head up against it, and closed his eyes.
"Get of the gound will you please..." Arco demanded as he looked down on Sel.. He grabbed his shoulder and took him up before walking to a house, it looked empty so he kicked up the door and looked for a bed...
"Here you go..." Arco said pointing into the nice mansion before walking out again.. "So we're just going to sleep now, well you guys do that I'm off again - It seems you can do things alone" Arco admitted before starting walking off again, taking his scimitars down...
Sel turned and watched Arco begin to leave again.
He yelled after him, "Arco! Stay here, at least until your wounds heal. Besides, we need every person we can get. You know as well as I that this, this, mystery isn't over yet."
OOC: you have to join the group some time fuzzy....
"Get of the gound will you please..." Arco demanded as he looked down on Sel.. He grabbed his shoulder and took him up before walking to a house, it looked empty so he kicked up the door and looked for a bed...

"You sit your boat down Elfie, you look like hell," Fenris said in a commanding voice. "Despite what you may think, you're wounded, and you need healing."
Arco stopped, he just looked out think before turning to the group, before he started going back...
"Ok.. I guess there is some mysterious about all this" Arco said, the anger from his eyes started to fade away as he leaned against the window of the mansion...
"So.. What are we going to do now? I've been on slaying over sixty demons and I find you playing with a cat" Arco said as he grinned..
"Now we are going to sleep! how many times do I have to say it?" Sel exclaimed. "The only sleep I've had recently is from being knocked out, twice!" Sel continued.
"You'll find me asleep somewhere in here." Sel said as he walked back into the large house.
Fenris smirked. ""Demons" is a vague term, they could have been scamps for all i knew," he said. "Right now we're going to rest and figure out what the hell we should be doing. Because right now, the grand imperial city just went to hell."
"Hell?" Falx questioned as he walked into the room, "No, this isn't hell, I've been through hell.. This is far worse than hell."
Falx pulled up a chair by the fire that was just kindled in the fire place, "I need to find Darius and his men, for all I know they are probably zombies as well." He said with a sigh.
He was a bit to fidgity so he continued to get up and search through the various cabinets in what appeared to be the remains of a kitchen.
"I wonder if they've got any good brandy in here?" He saw it, a full bottle of imperial brandy labeled, 'The Best of the Rest ~ 3E417'.
"I'm almost to afraid to drink this, almost" Falx grinned as he broke the seal of the dusty bottle.
Hey! can I have some of that? Serene asked the men, my throat is really dry....
Falx stared at the bottle for several moments, he didn't want to give it up but it would be horrible not to share the wealth,
"...Here you go..." Falx gave it to her with a heavy heart.
"By the way, I don't think I've caught any of your names"
Sel opened one eye.
"Drinks!?" Sel exclaimed, "Sleep is second to drinks. Pass it on down. I think we all need to forget a few things after today."
"By the way, for anyone that doesn't already know, I'm Sel...if you want a life story, you're out of luck."
"If you drink that I doubt our names wont matter because u wont survive your next fight" Arco said, he scanned around the city... Cyrodiil City is so big, there could be many more around..
"Stay here and enjoy yourselves, I'll be right back" Arco said before running off against where he saw the portal...
"Damn!" Sel said, "He can't sit still for ten seconds."
And suddenly remembering manners, he added, "Please excuse my language, ladies."
It´s Ok Sel, Serene laughed, just give me some more of that brandy....
"Done." Sel said, passing the bottle back to Serene.
Well thanks...Serene took a deep sip of it and leaned back....relaxing. she felt a bit drunk though
Suddently Arco comes leaping down the chimney before tumbling as he hits the fire at the ground, rolling out on the floor before rising in the room...
All of them looked a little supprised, almost drawing their weapons...
"Ehm... The Portal is gone, and its a bunch of dead people around but no sign to any more demons" Arco said, giving them some hand signals to lower their weapons as he almost gave of a little laugh...
Sel finally wiped the blood off of his sword...on the carpet. And acknowledged Arco.
"So sit down and drink before you die of boredom." Sel said, putting his sword back into its scabbard.
Sheehhhehe it´s a niiishe brandy..Serene giggled.....
"That didn't take long." Sel stated after looking at Serene. He snatched the bottle from her and looked sorrowfully at the bottom of it.
"There's none left." He said somlemnly.
"Ah, well, sweet dreams everybody." Sel said with a yawn. He layed down on the floor and was soon snoring.
"Well is it time to get drunk, share our stories of life, fall a sleep and get killed?" Arco said as he satt down by Serene..
"Well... Anyone want to start?" he said giving of a smile...
(OOC: I'll post his story tomorrow morning)
"You drank all that brandy!?" Falx yelled in disgust, "Grrr.. Go ahead tell ye life story's, but like Arco said, 'We all die tomorrow anyways'"
I will.....Serene sighed, but later
Sel got up and rubbed his eyes. "Huh? What's going on?" he said in a sleepy voice. "Falx was yelling something about brandy..."
"Yelling? What are you talking about?" Falx got up and stretched out his arms, "I was merely exclaiming how the fact that even though I am one of noble blood that I can't have the brandy, that I found!"
"Oh well" Falx said with a slur, "Excuse me lady's and gents, but I have to go relieve myself" Falx pointed in the direction of one of the walls of the house, and then stared at it for a moment, "Err, not one the wall, but, yea..." Falx nearly tripped over himself on the way out...
"Yeah, well you woke me up!" Sel yelled back at him.
Guys!!! dont yell at each other, Serene said..life is great just now...are there any more of that brandy left?
Fenris rifled through the cupboards until he found more alcohol. This time however, it was Mead, he also found the traditional Flin and Brandy, along with some Sujamma, greef, and Mazte. Apparently the House's former own was a collector of alcohols.
Fenris took and mead and began gulping it down. Cyrodiilic drinks were weak, and the Dunmeri drinks were swill to him.
Heeey! Fenris, Serene said....can i taste that you have there?
Heeey! Fenris, Serene said....can i taste that you have there?
Fenris handed Serene the mug. "Go ahead," he said.
Celia giggled at the group's antics, and decided to rest herself. Looking around, she found a corner of the room on the floor she thought looked cozy, and slumped down onto the rug and leaned her head against the wall. It only took a few seconds when her eyes closed and she drifted into a deep sleep.
Awww look here isn´t she sweet? serene patted celia ath her pback...very gently
she´s exhausted poor girl...
Sel's voice cracked with glee. "Toss me the matze, Fenris."
Sel's voice cracked with glee. "Toss me the matze, Fenris."
Fenris eagerly tossed the Mazte, being a dunmeri beverage, he didn't care for it at all. He of course, threw it a bit too eagerly.
Sel wasn't drunk and caught the bottle fine. (OOC: not injuring me
)
"Tastes like home." Sel muttered. Sel looked at himself for a second before saying, "I'm going upstairs to see if I can get some clothes. These are stained red forever, I fear." He pointedly grabbed the bottle of matze before going up the stairs.
He found mostly rich clothes - not his thing. Sel didn't like to spend an hour dressing himself every day. He continued down the hall to what he guessed would be servant's quarters. He found a pair of brown pants and a black shirt that fit, so he put them on and threw his other clothes out the window.
He walked back downstairs to sit with his newfound comrades.
(OOC: Sorry it took too long!)
Celia woke up several moments later, weeping silently, unable to sleep anymore due to a nightmare.
She had dreamt of being with her family in their old, homely cottage. Celia was in the meadow, picking out some pretty, sweet-smelling flowers to give to her mother. She wanted to surprise her mother since it was her mom's birthday.
It was bright and sunny out, and Celia giggled as the flowers tickled her nose. She saw her mother drying out some clothes further down from where Celia was.
It was familiar scene... that is, until the sky suddenly turned dark and from a bright red, glowing portal, emerged the demons. Celia watched in shock as the demons rushed upon her mother, and before she knew it, her mother lay dead on the ground.
Celia screamed out and abruptly she had her trusty hammer in her hand, and was bashing the demons in a frenzy, her heart filled with rage and great sorrow.
Then, everything became dark, pitch black. Celia found herself facing an imposing dark figure, whose glowing aura brightened the darkness. It was a beautiful Dunmer woman, a goddess, who was topless and had delicate flowers woven into her hair. She had a kind expression, but Celia was not to be comforted.
The woman opened her mouth, and her voice was soft and melodous(sp?), but firm and commanding. "Little one, do not be afraid, for you have another chance to dispose of these demons who haunt you. You will become a vital part of a great battle against evil..."
Celia shook her head. "What can I do?"
The Dunmer woman smiled, as if Celia was a very small and young girl, who was ignorant. The woman whispered, "Your healing powers will be of more use than you think.... Now rest, for you will soon have very much to do..." She turned to leave, her aura darkening.
"Wait a moment!" Celia cried. "What is your name, goddess?"
"You may call me... Azura..."
And everything became blurry and then dark once again...
That's when Celia woke up, frightened and a bit depressed, as well as confused...
Myrage wanders in, feeling lonely and out of his depth. "Uh, hullo everyone."
Konrad wanders in, feeling lonely and out of his depth. "Uh, hullo everyone."
OOC: I'm guessing you want in the RP...That's cool just post your character here (follow instructions)

and then continue!
Myra continues, and promptly lies down on his worn bedroll and falls asleep.
Sel watches the bosmer through his red eyes, not quite knowing what to expect.
"Hey, you, Bosmer! What do you want?" Sel asked rather rudely.
He then calmed down as he noticed Celia crying.
He walked over to her.
"Everything okay?" he asked the young altmer.
Celia sniffled and looked at the Dunmer, her eyes still full of tears. "Yes, I'm all right." She wiped her eyes with the back of her hands. "Just a dream--a nightmare, I think..." She glanced at the Dunmer and tentatively asked, "Do you know of anyone named Azura?"
"Azura is the daedra princess of dusk and da- wait...did you just dream about her?" Sel stammered.
Celia nodded, still sniffling a bit. She started worrying again when the Dunmer acted surprised. Her eyes glistened as more tears threaten to escape. "Is, is--that... a bad thing?" She was sudddenly scared. Princess of dusk and what? Death? Demons?
Celia nodded, still sniffling a bit. She started worrying again when the Dunmer acted surprised. Her eyes glistened as more tears threaten to escape. "Is, is--that... a bad thing?" She was sudddenly scared. Princess of dusk and what? Death? Demons?
"Not bad...unless shes warning us of something. I had a dream about her too. She kept muttering "Arcyakt". Did she say anything to you? This is important."
Falx noticed a darkly clad Bosmer walk passed him as he was doing his duty to his body.
"Strange fellow" He muttered on the verge of a hangover, even without sleeping.
There were shouts in the distance. Then moans and several cries and plea's to various gods.
Falx finished his businuss and crept to a corner to peer on the happenings. Hundreds, if not thousands of people populated the Imperial Square.
"By the gods.." Falx said aloud. Someone heard him.
"Praise the Emperor! A Knight is here to save us!" The crowds started to rush around Falx, almost making it hard to breath. A man with many wrinkles and scares, signifying that he was of old age approached,
"Hail Sir Knight! I am Gustok Valdormave, elder of our little comune." He glared into Falx's red eyes, "What word of this event is there? The people must be informed!"
"Uhh.. Clearly there has been an attack by the Deadra, but please! I beg you, return to your homes and the matter will be resolved shortly!" Falx pleaded. The crowds responded by crushing him even further. There were numerous cries abroad.
Cry's of love,
"My child! Where is my child!?"
Cry's of pain,
"Ahhh, it was horrible, my house, my family, my life.. gone, all gone!"
Cry's of revolt,
"The emperor has abandoned us! Quickly! To arms, the town is ours!"
Cry's of passion,
"My love, hang in a little longer. I will find a healer, everything will be alright!"
Falx was powerless to help any of him. What was a soldier to do?
He thought as fast as was possible, "People of Cyrodil! Listen! The great capitol of our empire is in ruin! Many have fallen, and many more will fall if action is not taken. I beg you to listen! Gather your belongings, The city is no longer safe. We make for better lands in the morning!"
He was applauded with a mix of insults, boo's and curse's, but Falx new something had to be done.
Fighting through the crowds he made it to the gangs hide out. Falx continued to tell what had just happened, and realized that a stranger was in their midst...
Sel nodded to Falx to let him know that he was aware of his and the newcomer's presence, but he kept his full attention on Celia, figuring Azura's message was more important than a sleeping bosmer.
Celia felt a bit overwhelmed when she heard people shouting outside, but sighed in relief when the Knight told the people of the relocation. They're not coming in here. Good, that would be too many people for me to handle...
Noticing the Dunmer still had his attention on Celia, Celia felt shy with the attention. She blushed and shrugged. "Something about a great battle against evil, demons, and that my healing powers are going to become very useful in the future..."
"Hmm...I don't think it's coincidence that we both dreamt of Azura." Sel said as he wiped a tear from Celia's face. "We'll worry about that later though. right now, I'm going to get some sleep. If you need anything, wake me up."
Sel closed his weary eyes and slept. Almost wanting another dream from Azura to clarify things. It didn't come.
Falx watched as Sel went to sleep, he figured that most everyone was asleep as well for there weren't to many noises about anymore.
He remebered his dream too, how horrible it was, his beloved city being overtaken by deadra.
"So.. Celia, it seems you and Sel have had dreams as well. I fear I am experinceing them too."
The rain that had been pounding the city came to a quick stop while the clouds shifted aside to let through the gods and goddesses of the night sky. (OOC:The stars) As he watched through his mirror, Arcyatk materialized a small glass of wine to his hand, sipping in peace. "What shall I do? These troublsome warriors and mages had tricked my servant into defeat." THe sorrcerer willed the mirror to show him his new enemies. Without fail, the mirror showed him every person there, including a new face.
"What to do...." He sat thoughtfully for a moment, swirling the wine around in thought. "I think maybe, that a little misplacement could turn them against each other..." Arcyatk's thin lips grew into a sly grin brimming with malice. He waved a hand over the mirror, sending some of his magic into the room in undetectable amounts. "Who to start on? Maybe... I will wait untill they are all asleep..." With that, he took another sip of his wine and waited.
Falx was keeping guard on the balcony of the mansion. He needed a little time alone to contintplate why everything was happening, and why his gods were silent.
Something caused the hair on the back of his neck to stand straight up, it was an eery odd sensation. It unerved Falx, but he dismissed it as the willy's he had about that Bosmer.
"Yuck, who would eat their own kind?" he said to himself his head nodding up and down from tiredness.
He almost wish the rain and the clouds would return, just so that the star's would stop gazing at him.
Sel awoke again after about an hour because of the newcomer's snores. He rubbed his eyes and looked around.
Celia was asleep again, the bosmer was still on his bedroll...he noticed his dagger was laying beside Celia, apparently fallen out of a pocket. Sel picked it up and sheathed it, figuring he'd ask her about it later. Where was Falx? He tightened his sword belt and walked upstairs to find him.
Falx was on the balcony, staring at the stars.
"What's the problem?" Sel asked the knight. "You're probably tired," Sel assumed. "I'll take this watch. you go ahead and sleep."
"Yea, I am tired, but that Bosmer gives me the creeps, somethings not right there.." He said still staring at the stars
"So you've had a dream too? I had one about the fall of the city. Some evil looking figure and a naked woman were standing in the twilight hours.. Weird no?"
Falx started unstrapping his armor...
"I'm guessing the naked woman was Azura?" Sel asked.
"I wouldn't know.. I can't remeber to much about her even though they tried to drill it in our head during the academy's foriegn education class." Falx chuckled remebering old times.
"What do you thinks going on?"
"there's something I haven't told any of you - with all the fighting there really wasn't to much time - I suspect it's the true problem. Back at that house, when I first met everyone, I got sucked up into some sort of humaniod soul trap." Sel sighed. "I woke up in a prison, and it wasn't long before I was questioned. An altmer mage had me chained and paralyzed with a spell. He asked me really general questions. Things like 'who is the emperor?' he said he had been gone for a long time. I told him Tiber Septim and he only 'sensed' that I was lying. So either he's crazy or immortal. Anyways, he left and I escaped through some sort of magic mirror." Sel looked up at the imperial knight. "I think he's behind everything. If he can break the soul trap law set down by gods, what stops him from summoning mass quantities of daedra?" Sel paused. "I'm afraid my assumption may be a little too far fetched though. It could be something as simple as an angry daedra prince, and Azura is trying to stop her rival. It's all too complicated for me."
(OOC: I got to go do something real quick, just like make my guy go to sleep or whatever... Your choice)
Shakur saw the huge house on the horizon. "Finally," said Shakur to himself "a resting place that isn't made of sticks". Shakur walked toward the front door, hoping a good hearted person woild allow his entry. He put his claymore in it's rightful sheith, and got prepared for anything. He raised his left hand, his black and tan robe shifted to one side and reveiled half of his body. He knocked three times, and fixed his robe. "Please, please let this house owner be free of hatred" murmmered Shakur, thinking of the skar on his chest.
Falx was silent, Sel figured he was overwhelmed.
Suddenly, there was a sound. knock! knock! knock! Sel looked down below the balcony, and saw a man waiting at the front door.
He first checked to make sure his sword was clear in its scabbard before going downstairs to open the door.
"Who is it?" Sel asked, only cracking the door about two inches.
Shakur Smiled, "My name is Shakur the Red, I am in a strange position right now. Please, I have been traveling these land now for a long, long time now, and I havn't slept in days. I know I sound rude but, but you must understand". Shakur was almost crying, for this house was his last resort.
OOC: Um, I really have to go now, but if you let me in, just say I fall asleep some where thankfully. Sorry to post n' leave like this. Bye.
Fenris was already asleep, he too had dreams. Of course, not of any prophetic warning from Azura. If he had, however heard the others had received dreams, he would have laughed drunkely at them, dreaming of demons. Female demon lords, at that. And heeding thier warnings.

"Fine, come in." Sel said. Even though he was more than suspicios of the two newcomers to the house, he would not turn them down for shelter. He would merely keep an eye on them.
Sel watched Shakur curl up on the lush carpet and slowly drift to sleep.
Falx set atop of the balcony and watched as Sel let the stranger in,
"Damn you Sel" He muttered to himself, "Now I really fear for us"
Falx walked down from the balcony and found a nice comfy room, it had been at least a year since he had slept in such a bed.
Once settled he fell to sleep.
(OOC: I think whoever posts after this should start it off in the morining time.)
Arco had been quite, not caring even thought it had comed in two strangers just like that. He held his two scimitars in his hands, just looking at them - The had got some heavily beating from the demon scales, he looked down at the floor closing his eyes...
Suddently he rised, takin down his scimitars. He took his cloak around him before he walked out the door...
"It aint a freaking tavern!" he said to himself, but it wasn't hard to hear him. He grabbed the wall on the mansion before he climbed up the three floors ending up one roof. He satt down right over the balcony leaning back resting his head on his arms and looked out on the stars. He could hear all what Falx and Sel talked about. 'Who is this Altmer?' he thought. 'Azura, demons and a Altmer. A Altmer that opens the gate of Oblivion releasing demons and pain to all people here. We're talking about something more powerfull' he thought. He couldn't think of how a Altmer could do all this, but he had seen much and it wouldn't be a suprise...
'We're to many to attack single handed...' Arco thought... Arco started thinking of his friends again, he had good memories but they all ended with sadness and hatered...
"You know they dont care about you Arco, they didn't care when you vanished. You're a loner and you will always be, your destiny is to die as a loner never beeing remembered" a voice sounded in Arco's head. He looked around almost in a panic, he leaned back rubbing his face...
"Never!" the voice cried out, Arco held his hands over his eyes. Trying to ignore it.
(OOC: Had I idea yesterday of how Arcyatk could attack us. Though that he comes to the city meets us all. Then he teleport all of us but one around in the city so he only meets one. Then he summons a warrior or something that in the end kills one of them... Or my plan was that if it happend Arco would be vanished to Oblivion by the warrior - Guess its up for Hukai)
Myrage warily opened one eye, checking if everyone was asleep. Confirming that to himself he drew his small silver dagger and got up to a crouch.
tiptoeing over to Falx, he holds his breath and stands right by him, pondering on what to steal.
"Hmmmmm, what will he need least...."
Checking over all his armour, (which I'm guessing you took offf for sleeping?) he decides to go for the big one and hauls the cuirass onto his shoulders.
Shakur's eyes opened almost violently. "Again?" whispered Shakur to himself. "Again a dream of the soothsayer?" Shakur noticed it was almost morning, but didn't notice Myrage sneaking about. He got off the floor, grabbed his sword, and repeatedly said "I'll stop it. These men don't need to see my horrors". He creapt out the door, not silently, but without notice. He swung his sword sword over his head and then in circles on his left and right side. And that's when he saw him.
The daedra unsheathed it's sword, and wasted no time rushing towards him. It raised it's sword to block the claymore, now raised above Shakur's head. He knew this tactic, and knew it was a two move kill. When the daedra was within 5 feet of him, Shakur dropped his claymore and punched the daedra using his glass gauntlet. It was a mighty left punch, sending the daedra to the ground. Shakur lifted the claymore and swung, but his enemy was too fast, rolling and jumping. He swung the claymore but the mighty sword only cut off a piece of the daedra's helm. The daedra lunged at Shakur, giving him a cut in his armour. Shakur used his gauntlet yet again, punching the daedra hard, but it was when Shakur pulled his gauntlet back, plunging the glass spikes into it's face, hardly protected by it's open helm.
Sel watched the recently arrived bosmer. Having let so many people in, he had taken it opun himself to watch over his friends.
Sel saw the bosmer crouching over Falx with a dagger.
He jumped to his feet, sword in hand. He put his sword to the bosmer's neck.
"What do you think you're doing?" Sel growled. "Lie, and you might not have a head."
Shakur lifted the cuirass of of the daedra, and switched his with it. "It was broken anyways" said Shakur, looking at his old, steel cuirass. Shakur noticed the glass spike his gauntlet left in the daedra, and decided to take it out and get an armourer to put it back in. He stood back up and opened the door and was shocked by the sight he saw. He lifted his sword to the back of Sel's neck. "Have I walked into the scene of a future murder?" Said Shakur calmly, poking the back of Sel's neck.
Celia yawned, more awake now that she had some more rest. She rubbed her eyes and got up to walk around the house and stretch a bit. However, she wasn't expecting the scene that was taking place near.
She gasped when she saw the predicament between the Dunmer (Sel) and the two newly-arrivals. She hestated, then decided to step in. "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" She tried to make her face stern. "What do you think you guys are doing?" She tried to smile. "That is not how we treat others with respect, you know?"
Shakur looked to his side to see Celia, who until now he didn't know excisted. "I guess I did act irrationally" Shakur lowered his claymore, but not completely and continued "but I still want a very good explanation". Shakur Looked back between celia and Sel once more, before finally noticed why Sel had raised his sword.
"I don't treat assassins with respect." Sel said to answer Celia. "And now that I don't have a sword at my neck anymore, I will continue with my questions." he said to the bosmer.
"Why were you standing over Falx with a dagger?" Sel asked, accentuating his point by pressing his sword harder into the bosmer's neck.
"Asassin?" Shakur said, remembering all of his loved ones that have been troubled by asassins. Shakur walked around Sel, and put his claymore at the front of the asassin's neck. "I swear to any god under the skies that if you came for me, I'll deform you worse than a corprus beast!"
ooc: Sorry to leave during the climax, but I gotta go out to lunch. If you keep going, just make me ask some questions I would probably ask you guys.
Celia yelped, and, in a second, she was by the muscular Redguard's side, clutching his arm. "Oh, please, please, mister big Redguard, don't hurt him!" She tried to push aside his arm holding the claymore. "There must be a pefect explanation for this!"
"A perfect explanation for murder?" The Redguard raised an eyebrow, his voice expressing his disgust.
Celia shook her head. "No! ...Er, perhaps the Bosmer lives here and feels a bit... threatened...?" She turned to look down at the Bosmer. "Isn't that right, Mister Bosmer?"
Sel's eyes narrrowed. His voice got loud and angry.
"He was standing over Falx with a dagger in his hand!" Sel yelled. "I for one would rather kill an enemy than have him harm a friend!"
Sel liked Celia, but he thought she was too trusting. He didn't feel bad for yelling at her.
Celia's temper started to flare. "Hey, let the Bosmer answer the darn question, or at the very least, give an explanation!" Her voice raised a bit. "Isn't that what you guys were doing, anyway? Waiting for the damn explanation? Well, I prefer you do it, nicely, and without wielding your weapons, m'kay?!" By this time, she was practically yelling, her patience draining out of her and she began shaking.
(OOC: Sorry for the swear. If it's not allowed, let me know. :ashamed: )
(Sorry I'm late, doing slave labour in the garden.)
Myra looks around wide eyed at all the people.
"Uh...I was just going to shine my dagger," he says dropping the cuirass to the floor," And I was gonna shine this too. Sory for all the confusion."
Sel regarded Celia with curiousity, not thinking she was even capable of anger.
He then regarded the bosmer. "Does my friend's blood help shine your dagger?" Sel said. "Does shining his curiass make it worth more money?"
He turned to Celia. "Just trust me on this one." he pleaded. "I won't hurt him." and then under his breath muttered. "Unless he needs hurting."
Celia breathed in and out, trying to calm down. She then turned to the Redguard, giving him a glare. "You better promise not to hurt him, too!"
The Redguard shook his head. "I can't guarantee it..."
"Okay, but at least try not to." She turned to Sel, willing to give him a chance. "Okay, but if he's innocent, and you hurt him anyway, I'll hurt you personally!"
(I have no idea, is it supposed to be past or present tense?) Smiling, Myra adds"Yeah Sel, lay off." Standing upright he continues.
" I was merely wanting to shine equipment for fun, I would never hurt an imperial soldier. Anyway my father was killed by an assassin, I'm trying to get revenge. I was also going to wake him and ask him about any assassin ties around here...but now it doesn't matter..." Myra smiles leeringly at Sel, his back turned to Celia.
He sheaths his dagger, and brushes off his sleeves of the dust, "Ugh, dunmer scent."
Sel knew he was lying, but did nothing because Celia was there. that bosmer gave him a smirk that said "Ha, you were right, but I got out of it!"
Sel gave the bosmer a glare and sheathed his sword.
"Alright, bosmer, but I for one am not sleeping close to you."
Sel began to walk out, but when he came to Celia he whispered in her ear, "You won't get much sleep, because you'll be watching him. you wanted to keep him, you have the responsibility." with that, he walked out the door to get some air.
"Well, if it will make you happy, I will!" She yelled at Sel's back. She turned to face the Reguard. "You heard him." She pushed the Redguard out of the room. "So, go!"
She then cheerfully turned to the Bosmer. "See? Everything's going to be fine, now that I'm looking after you."
She paused, her voice thoughful. "But first!" Her hand slapped the Bosmer's face---hard. "That's for the mean comment towards Dunmer!" She leaned her face toward the Bosmer's. "I'm very strict about this kind of thing, and I'm not deaf, so you better keep your comments to yourself." Her face turned dark. "Or else, I will kick you out, whether or not this house is yours!" She crossed her arms. "And I trust the fact you will not hurt anyone, correct?"
She surprised herself when she took out her weapon and shook it threateningly over the Bosmer's head. She smiled sweetly. "M'kay?"
Celia thought to herself, I guess I do care about the others... just a little bit.
Sel shrugged off the shout that assaulted his ears. As long as she was taking responsibility, Sel didn't care - even if she was doing it out of spite. Sel hoped she was right, but would never admit to it - his pride wouldn't allow it.
"You're pride will be the end of you." his sister always said, and yet, he could never get rid of it. Especially since it was all he had left - until now.
Myra looked at Celia, speechless. "Uh... This isn't my house, and...well I can't exactly give you my word...." He drew his dagger and leapt backwards, rubbing his cheek.
"Oh, and I don't think you can kick me out, seeing as this house isn't yours either." He calmly sat down in a chair, and took out a skooma pipe, "I'm here to stay..."
Arco again came as a supprise leaping down on the balcony...
"If we want you to leave then you leave..." he paused "We have been saving people and busting our asses all day, if you came here to cause trouble it will be the last you do!" Arco said strickt getting sure the Bosmer got the point... After loosening the grip he had on his scimitars on his belt, he walked past the Dunmer looking him straight in th eye's before walking down...
Myra smiled at the room, then drew his bow. It was a beutifully carved ash bow, with a golden design laced aorund it like a spiders web of a spider on skooma. He stood up, and got out a small target from his netch leather bag. He pinned it to a wall, and startd practising, one 'accidentaly' missing and going very near Celia.
Arco saw how the arrow went straight past Celia's face... Arco went fast in action, he went up to the Bosmer before taking his bow and grabbing him by the shoulder's before he pushed him out of the house furious!
"If you ever do something as stupid as that again, your next target will be me!" Arco said intimitating to the Bosmer before shuting the door going up to Celia.. "Everything alright there?" He said..
Celia nodded, a bit confused. "Er, yeah. I'm okay..." She glanced at the arrow embedded in the wall, before turning to Arco. She gave a small smile. "Er, clumsy assassination attempt, you think?"
Her smile dissolved as she realized something. "I really should apologize to Sel. I yelled at him for doubting our visitor's claims..." She looked at Arco. "Think he would forgive me?" She asked sadly.
Myra scowled at being outisde in the rain. "Ok Dunmer, you shall be my target." He slowly climbed his way up the roof of the house, then undetected swoops back in via the balcony. He crouched down, listening to the conversation.
"Sure he will..." Arco replied, ignoring about the Bosmer... He thought the Bosmer was either a simple theif or a pretty clumsy guy, beeing in the wrong place at wrong time...

Sadly for the Bosmer, Fenris was heading for the balcony. He stood, looking at the Bomser blankly, he had a hangover from last night. The sight of a crouching giant of a bomser wasn't exactly something he saw everyday. He had heard the voices, but their words weren't too clear to him right now. He looked down on the Bosmer distastefully.
"Who are you, and what in the name of Kyne are you doing?" he asked.
Myra jumped at the voice, and dropped his knife down the stairs, the blade embedding itself with a thump. He turned slowly to see the cause of his fright and stood up, promptly bowing.
"Hello Nord, I am Myra, or Myrage. As for what I am doing... to be precise I am trying to listen to the conversation down there and think of my next planof attack. And who might you be?"
