Celia tiredly raised an eyebrow at the Nord's speech, not sure whether to be annoyed or offended. "And healers with hammers as well as mages go under the true warriors category, I hope?" She narrowed her eyes. "And I wouldn't exactly call those creatures pathetic, just a bit difficult to kill... at least for us unTongue peoples..."
At Konrad's comment, Celia shrugged. "The Altmer was asking for Sel's help, kid."
She pushed Sel roughly towards the Altmer. "So, go help him."
Celia frowned and rubbed her forehead. She still had that throbbing headache. She glanced down at the small Altmer girl who was still with her. "Now, what am I going to do with you?"
"Of course, i was just trying to avoid having to say 'healers warriors mages' etc." Fenris responded. "They weren't that hard to kill, i mean, the lad got a few down, i'm surprised he even managed to injure them. Children usually don't have access to weapons capable of harming spirits like the Daedra."
"Their only advantage was numbers and surprise."
Konrad looked down at his sword and dagger, wondering what he meant. There was nothing special about these blades, he was just given them by his father on his graduation from junior training school. "Are you saying normal weapons can't harm those beasts?"
Sel was about to bend down and help the altmer, until he saw his face.
The same face he spat in. The same face that grinned as he spoke of killing him. The same face that grinned at him now.
Sel spat in his face before drawing his newly aquired sword.
"Stop hunting me!" He screamed before stabbing his sword into the altmer's chest.
He looked down, and his sword was only stuck in the ground - there was no altmer to be seen.
"That honoured user!" he yelled.
Konrad looked down at his sword and dagger, wondering what he meant. There was nothing special about these blades, he was just given them by his father on his graduation from junior training school. "Are you saying normal weapons can't harm those beasts?"
"Of certain types. More refined matriel and enchanted weapons can harm Daedra. Namely Silver, Daedric, Ebony, Glass, Dwemer, and the like. But anything enchanted can hit them," Fenris replied. "Regardless of enchantment or matriel. Ya can enchant a fork with "Fortify tablemanners" and be able to stab Daedra in eyes or stuff..."
That last comment Fenris said made Falx chuckle a'bit, "Well lets hope that it won't ever come to using Enchanted Forks of Table Manners.." Falx brandished his weapon and studied it,
"This sword was givin to me at my Imperial War Academy graduation, never thought it to be enchanted, spouse it might not be, but there must be some magickal properties to it..." He studied it closer, "It says something there, it looks like its some sort of daedric symbols.."
"SEL! What are you doing!" Falx cried out right before he stabbed the wounded man
Konrad looked shocked at Sel's reaction to the wounded man. "You monster!" He cried, taking up his sword and charging at him.
Celia cried out in shock when Sel hurt the Altmer she had just healed. "Oh, Sel, please, snap out of it!" She started towards Sel, probably to smack or talk some sense into the Dunmer.
But then, seeing Konrad charging at Sel made her just as shocked. "Boy, don't hurt him!" She ran to shield Sel from the Imperial teenager. "He's just tired and delirious, so please, don't hurt him!" Celia wrapped her arms around Sel, tears streaming from her eyes, emotional as well as tired of the violence. "You'd be doing the same bad thing that he did to the Altmer!"
Konrad slowed to a halt, loosely gripping his sword. "He just killed a man! How can you make his excuse being tired?!" He shouted at the altmer, his rage boiling. "He was one of your kind! How can you not care for his life?"
He sheathed his sword, shaking his head. "Tiredness is nt an excuse for murder. Heck that mer ight have just killed a monster that was going to kill you!" He turned away, lying on his back and closing his yes in meditation.
"Make sure he can hold himself against attacking me because I'm layed down."
"Sel, what in the Nine are you doing!?"
(I finished my post ust as he posted his posting... I was done first.. But I'll edit it)
(OOC: Um, Channler... Shouldn't you wait your turn? Konradude was going to post...)
"Tell me- do normal altmer vanish in death?" Fenris said. There was afterall, noone where the sword was stuck. "He seemed to be a illusion of some sort. Or maybe he was a ghost....or something."
Jonacin groaned. He was incredibly stiff after Celia's healing, and he had yet another scar on his chest. He heard the shouts from the direction of all the others, and heaved himself to his feet. "What's all the shouting about? Could you keep it down, i have a splitting headache"
The fake soldier that was Arcyatk smiled very breifly, nothing anyone would notice. He whimphered loudly before again "fainting" at his "near-death: experence. Perfect He thought, trying not to laugh. No more trust for you!
Shakur walked his way to the group. "Sorry, I was chasing a group of straggling daedra. What's all this dissapearing altmer buisness and who is this imperial boy?". Shakur noticed his manners. "Sorry for being rude mr. uh, young imperial. My name is Shakur, who are you?".
(OOC: sorry! Long post and slow computer.)
Celia felt like she was going to explode. Too much was going on, and she had too much responsiblities to take: Taking care of the little girl, trying to talk some sense into Sel, trying to defend Sel from getting berated or worse by the others, and now she had a delirious Nord on her hands. Jona and Shakur just came by, and asked questions. Oh, and the Altmer fainted. Again. And where were Serene and Arco?
Oh, not to mention her throbbing head and her tired body!
Enough was enough. Celia stood up and held up her hands, talking a bit sharply. "Okay, let me deal with this one at a time."
She glanced at Sel. "You need rest." She pointed to the Nord. "You need rest as well, Mister Nord."
She gestured to Konrad. "This is Konrad, some Imperial kid who wishes to join our, er, quest."
She then turned to Jona. "Sel kind of went crazy on this Altmer, who, by the way, is a total stranger." She pointed to the Altmer who had fainted.
She turned to Falx. "Stop harassing Sel! He's tired, and doesn't need this! Besides, I trust his instincts, especially since the 'Bosmer incident'. So, quiet, you!"
She dusted her dress as she continued, "And now, I have to find this little girl's parents, who may" she lowered her voice, "or may not be eaten by those demons."
She looked down at the fallen Altmer. "And now I may have to re-heal this Altmer, and I am still wondering where Serene and Arco are..."
She stomped her feet and her voice raised a bit. "And on top of that, I'm tired, m'kay!" She took deep breaths. "Okay, I'm going to go find Arco and Serene, then I'm going to find this girl's parents, and then I'm going to rest. This healer can only take so much!"
She mounted her horse, helped up the little girl (who was quiet during the whole event), and rode off to find Serene and Arco. As she rode, she then shouted over her shoulder, "About the Altmer, if he needs healing, he'll have to wait until after I'm rested!" She then stopped her horse for a split moment. "Oh, and don't hurt Sel!"
As soon as Celia was out of sight, Sel got up. "I'm going to get my sword." he said, walking off onto the battle field. He found it laying on the ground, the body that held it had long disappeared.
He picked it up, wondering if he should even carry a weapon anymore. He almost killed an innocent mer, because he saw something that wasn't there. He admitted to himself that he was insane, and decided that he would not endanger his friends by travelling with them. Looking back, he saw the outlines of people he had gotten to know over he past few days. He hadn't been close to anyone after his sister's death, until he met them. He took a deep breath, tightened is sword belt, and walked away from the group. He came to the edge of some woods, and entered - it would be harder for anyone to find him in the woods. When he thought he was far enough into the woods, he leaned against the tree and finally did what Celia ordered him to - slept.

She turned to Falx. "Stop harassing Sel! He's tired, and doesn't need this! Besides, I trust his instincts, especially since the 'Bosmer incident'. So, quiet, you!"
Falx looked at everyone and sigh'd, "I'm gonna go talk some sense into her.." Falx mounted Akatosh and road towards Celia..
"Celia!" Falx cried before reaching her, "Stop at once!" When she refused to stop Falx rode up beside her,
"Celia! YOU are the one that is tired and exhausted! Look at yourself!" Falx could barely hear himself over the horses, "What do you think your going to accomplish by riding into the darkness in search of this little ones parents? Absolutely nothing! If you haven't noticed there are men that will take advantage of you, and hell, creatures that might come out of nowhere!"
Falx rushed his horse in front of Celia's, and forced her to stop. In a much calmer voice he continued, "It is dark, most everyone is resting, most likely the childs parents as well. You will never find them now. Come back with me, get some rest, and tomorrow, together me and you and who ever wants to can search for this childs parents..."
Falx seized the reins of her horse, "Please, get some rest, we've rode quite far from the rest. I'll guide your horse back. Just sleep some.."
He led the two slowly back to the adventurers encampment, careful not to wake the two sleeping angels. War would have to wait, at least for tonight.
posting. Shakur sheithed his sword and took off his helmet and whistled for his horse. Suprisingly, it had lived by runnig to the outskirts. Shakur decided he would rest a bit and once again write his experiance in a poem. Shakkur removed his cuirass, right gauntlet and helm, saying "finally I can breathe".
Sel woke up a few minutes later. He rubbed his eyes and stood on weary legs. He heard his stomach rumbling, and remembered that he hadn't eaten that day or the day before. He looked to his stomach, but noticed something else there. His amulet.
Damn! he thought. Now Celia can easily get to me.
He was about to throw it down, but he couldn't. It was the only thing left to remind him of his sister. All he could do was hope that Celia would either decide to let him go, or not remember the amulet he gave her.
Shakur awoke from his slumber. "Another day, another dream" Shakur was growing tired of the riddles that were his dreams. In his dream the dead refugees came back to life, pointing and yelling at, something. When he tried to see what they were yelling at, the crowd moved along with the object. They started screaming "tneconni eht yortsed! rewsna eht laever ot!" his dreams were always riddles. "Just like the ashlander said, I'll only figure out the answers if I control my dreams. I have to try harder this time, I have to figure this out now". Shakur closed his eyes and fell asleep once more.
Arco had been in combat for ever it seemed like, after he swiftly sneaked of his horse before the demons attacked their flank. He had moved through the stinking sewer's before coming up behind them, taking them down as his long lost assassin skills came back. He slashed them down and in the end was locked in combat, hearing Falx as he cried of for Celia. In the end he managed to come out before he dodged past their blows before cutting them down until only their ashes was left...
Arco moved fast through the alley before coming up by the others, Sel and the others was already there, and a little boy to talking to Fenris. Arco was wounded after getting hit several times he came up before setting both of his scimitars straight into the ground exhausted...
"The... South flank is... clear..." he said before he stood up looking around... "I managed to come behind them.. until I was locked in a fight"
Arcyatk had been listening to it all during his little spell of pretend to faint. I think it's time to wake up... He thought, slowly opening his magically bloodshot eyes. "Uh...Wa blu nom..." The mage forced a long slur along with gargled talk to give his faint more credibillity. Without even getting up, he put a hand to his forehead and let it rest, breathing deep as if in shock.
Jonacin was worried about Celia. Before she rode off she sounded on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and she needed sleep even more than everyone else
Celia wanted to argue with the Knight, but she was too tired, so she gave in and fell asleep. She was asleep for a few minutes, getting some rest, until she heard a familiar voice as Falx led her horse towards the others. Her eyes fluttered open, and she smiled. "Mister Arco, where have you been?"
Her eyes also caught someone dark-haired riding towards them. It seems Serene had been fighting as well. Celia smiled and waved, and Serene waved back (albeit tiredly).
Celia dismounted slowly, leaving the Altmer girl with the horse and walked towards Arco, who seemed to be very tired, and...wounded? Celia crouched down. "Hey," she said softly, "Are you okay?" She patted the Dunmer (Arco)'s shoulder. "Do you think you can sleep with those injuries? Or do you want me to heal some of those for you now?"
Shakur again woke. "Damn, no dream. I'll try again tonight". Shakur looked at his comrades, then the waking altmer. "Who are you, now that your done being dead" Shakur said jokingly to the altmer.
Arcyatk looked wearly over at Shakur and mumbled. Realizing that he was too quite to be heard, the mage-in-soldier's-armor (wolf-in-sheep's-clothing) rasied his drawling voice slightly. "I..." Again he breathed deep "I am Sir Noin, a private in the imperial army. My..." Yet agian his breath drew sharply. "My commrade and I were...attacked by hidous beast...I think only I survived." He let himself trail off. "I also thought myself to be wounded...Was it all a dream?"
Jonacin heard Celia offering Arco healing. "Celia, i know you want to help, but right now you need to sleep. Arco can survive with his wounds until you've gotten some sleep" he said gently to her
Falx dismounted his horse, "Besides I have this healing potion right here... "Falx pulled a vail out of his armor, "...that someone gave me"
Falx tossed it to Arco, "Now please Celia, get some rest, we all are worn down but we need our healers. So you rest and we will stand guard."
He was used to not sleeping for extended periods of time, so Falx didn't mind staying up into the late of the night.
Looking over at Shakur, Falx asked, "So whats this about dreams? It seems that several of us are experiencing some odd ones.."
Sel had been walking through the woods for quite awhile, not quite sure where he was going, and not really caring. He hoped that none of the others guessed what had happened yet - he wanted to get as far away as possible. He had no plans beyond that. He had found some comberries to eat, which cured him of his hunger. Daylight was coming, and Sel had decided that he would travel by night so it would be harder for his friends to find him. He was confident that he would not be found because he had hidden from guards for quite awhile when he lived in Morrowind. He came across a small cave and settled down in it for some sleep.
Celia heard the male Altmer mention his name. "Sir Noin?" She walked towards the Altmer. "Are you okay?" She smiled. "Well, you survived the fight, at least." She paused. "Do you think you need healing?"
The altmer raised his head slightly and mumbled "water" before falling back "exasuted from his fighting." He soon "fell asleep."
"....Sir?" Falx pondered that for a moment then turned to the rest of the group, "He said he was a private in the legions.. and yet he is nobility? Something smells fishy here.." Falx studied the man as he rested.
"Where's Sel? I haven't seen him lately" Falx rambled as he was trying to make a fire, "I think we all kinda spooked him after he stabbed, Sir Private Whoever over there.."
Konrad awoke from his deep sleep, bleary eyed and confused. "Where's that crazy dunmer?" he asked, his head turning round. He noticed how everyone was spread out and decided to make his own little fire.
(Develops piano concerto waiting for the next post)
Celia shrugged. "Well, mister Knight, could you at least get him some water?"
She glanced around. "Hey, where's Sel?" She walked and checked among the group, but she couldn't find the Dunmer (not Sel, anyway). Panicking, she wrung her heads and double-checked. "Have you seen Sel, mister Nord? Mister Dunmer, have you seen Sel? Have you, Jona? No?"
Then, she remembered something that Sel said a long time ago, before the attack on the refugees... Something about an amulet... Her hands immediately gripped the amulet dangling from a thread around her neck. "Now, how does this work? What am I supposed to do with this?" She inspected the amulet for some kind of clue, but that didn't help. She started to get frustrated. "Oh, Sel, where are you?" She held the amulet tightly, wishing fervently that Sel was with them.
"For the love of the gods Celia! Settle down!" Falx cursed under his breath as he "tossed" the stranger a canteen of water, "If we need to use that damn thing then so be it, but now is not the time.. Sleep and in the morning we shall figure this all out..."
Celia noded sadly. "Okay, but I'm going to look for him soon after eating and healing Arco." She sat next Serene, who was already asleep, and rested.
Falx dismounted his horse, "Besides I have this healing potion right here... "Falx pulled a vail out of his armor, "...that someone gave me"

He was used to not sleeping for extended periods of time, so Falx didn't mind staying up into the late of the night.
Looking over at Shakur, Falx asked, "So whats this about dreams? It seems that several of us are experiencing some odd ones.."
"Well, after I came to Morrowind, I had strange dreams. Every day they got more frequent and less understandable, until I finally travelled to an Ashlander camp to find out. After making some friends in the camp, the Wisewoman told me to solve their riddles. The first dream told me to "Listen to Azura" so I did in my next dream, over the murmers of a thousand people, Azura told me to come here. After I did come here, a man named the soothsayer started appearing in my dreams, warning me of danger. Unfortunatly, he warns me almost every day. So I guess you could say there's more to me than meets the eyes" Shakur was happy he could share his story, but he didn't show it.
"I need no healing no Celia, rest your powers... I think its best to search for Sel in the morning, maybe he needed some time for himself" Arco replied to Celia...
Arco sat down by the road, taking a little sip of the healing potion he once gave to Falx, he nodded back before taking out his scimitars. He started cleaning them for all the ashes and blood that had covered the Daedric blade...
He looked back at Shakur... "Dreams come and go... I doubt if your having dreams where Azura appears they wont come every time..." he paused "I think this is all weird, how many here have had dreams?" he said as he looked around..
"I try not to look way too much into them, but I still believe there is something strange going on" Shakur said, trying not to sound crazy.
(OOC: I'm tried of using "" to say that he faked something, so no more!)
Arcyatk, as Sir Noin, tossed lightly in his sleep. He had not been laying there for more than five mintues before a terrible coughing fit awoke him and sent him flying into a sitting postion on the ground. "UUUGGHHH UGTT UGGTT!" The soldier bent over, hacking even more due a slight breeze kicking up dust. Wildly, he waved a hand around in the air trying to get attention. "W-UGTT UGGGGTTTTTTTTTT UGT! Water!"
"A canteen was thrown to you Elfie," Fenris repilied, before going back to his sword. He bladed the sword blade first, standing up on the ground, kneeling in front of it. He whispered along the blade, as he repeatedly went up and down the blade the edge of it slowly began to sharpen. It was a much slower way for a Tongue to sharpen his sword than a shout, but more effective.
Jonacin watched Fenris sharpening his sword with great curiosity. "Any chance you could do that with mine too?" he called over
Jonacin watched Fenris sharpening his sword with great curiosity. "Any chance you could do that with mine too?" he called over
"Sure," Fenris said. "Its not really a substitute for a armorer, but its pretty effective. Esspecially in the feild."
"Thanks" said Jonacin. He heaved himself to his feet and walked over to Fenris, unsheathing his sword and handing it to him hilt first
Konrad looked over at the Tongue, then got his own blade out. He fished around in his sack for a hammer and some tongs then started to work.
"You, altmer, you alright?" Shakur looked at the Altmer. "Sir Noin is it? That name sounds farmiliar. Have you ever tried to kill me in my sleep?" Shakur said jokingly.
Fenris set his sharpened blade aside carefully, before taking Jonacin's. He repeated what he had done before with Jonacin's blade, sharping the blunted blade. When he finished he handed the sword back to Jonacin's hilt first. Fenris was only safe holding the blade because of his mailed gauntlets.
Falx looked around a bit, they were camped on a hill overlooking the burning city that once was the heart of imperial granduer. He remebered all those that had given their lives for this great city, and those that still will.
"It will be light in a few hours..." He said almost sniffing the air, "I have dispatched a runner to tell Sir Hadrian to meet us soon. He'll bring himself and a few of his trusted guards along with him. Maybe then we will be able to find the source of this.. this. evil" Falx was unaware that the evil he spoke of was in their midst, eating their food, drinking their water.
"I'm going to head out and search for Sel. He couldn't of gone far, so I'll head to the most likely place" Falx gestured towards the forest, "I doubt he'd head back to the city.." There was a hint of sadness in his voice everytime he mentioned his beloved capitol. He walked over to horse his horse, patted it's side and whispered something into it's ear.
Mounting Akatosh Falx bellowed, "If I am not back by the fall of the sun tomorrow do not worry. After all, I am hunting someone no?" He grinned a bit then gently kicked Akatosh in his side causing the horse to rear back and then dart off into the darkness.

A While Out From the City
"Damn rain! Damn Clouds! And Damn, we've ran out of ale!" Channler cursed outloud as he tossed his ale jug into the grass, "Where in the name of Oblivion is this damned city!? And if it doesn't stop raining I'm personaly going to kick some god's british boat!!"
Channler's Nordic freinds were merry folk, and couldn't help but laugh over their "bosses" faults. Itar the Drunkard was the first out of the laughing bunch to speak up, "Boss! Don't ye think we should get outa the rain?" Hardly able to hide the expression on his face.
Godrod Horse-Mane piped up next, "Itar has his point Boss, ye be cave a cave around here or somewhere. Spouse if we look up dat stream we might find something." Godrod scratched his bald head
Hagrad Elf-Crusher was the last one to speak up, and rightly so being that he was the slowest of the bunch. 'I say we just find somethin to smash! An elf or a Goblin or.. yea, roasted goblin tastes pretty good" He looked at everyone, seemingly waiting for approval and then said, "Fine, then, goblin it is!"
"Hmm, never had goblin, I imagin though it might be pretty tasty though" Channler pondered it for a while, "Yes, if we find a goblin, we shall have a feast!" Channler's mood was much better now, maybe for the fact that they had noticed a cave in the distance...
"Yeah I'll go with u... the other can get some rest the few hours before the light comes" Arco replied to Falx, before looking over to Fenris "Would u mind to so that with my scimitars later?" he asked before rising and taking his cloak around him checking his gear...
"We'll be back around sunrise I guess..." Arco said as he looked at Falx...
"You might want to check all the caves and dens, he's probably sleeping now". Shakur laid down to sleep. After a few minutes, he drifted off to sleep. He once again saw the refugees yelling and screaming at the object, but this tume, he ran away from the crowd. they followed and so did the object. Their words were getting slured and slower, until they started talking backwards. "To reveal the awnswer! Kill the innocent!".
It was nearly sun-up when Celia woke up. She groaned as she got up, rubbing her eyes. She glanced around. "Hey, where's Arco and Mister Knight?"
She took out a piece of bread from her sack and chewed. As she did so, her hands covered the amulet and gripped it tight. "Now to figure this thing out..." Perhaps if she willed it really hard....
Konrad awoke from his sleep. Getting out his laptop he loggd into the forums. "Aaahhh I can drag her around...." He got up, walking over to the strange altmer. Bending his knees a bit, he dragged her to the river, throwing her in. (sorry.....)
(OOC: Er, that's not what I meant...
More like she's wherever you guys go kind of thing. She's just... there. Besides, it's not Monday just yet...)
[Sorry...it was sarcasm. I thought you might have guessed with a laptop in morrowind....are you blonde by any chance?
Jonacin woke up after a much needed rest. Looking around, he noticed that Falx and Arco were missing. "Where in oblivion are Falx and Arco gone?"
Arco and Falx had searched through the woods, only finding a few bodies of dead farmers attacked by the demons. But Sel was not to find, not even in the caves. The sun had rised up and it beems was piercing through the high trees...
"Maybe its time to head back... Sel is a smart Dunmer, he can take care of himself and if he wants to leave us its up to him" Arco said, as he knew it to well as he satt down by a tree looking up at Falx, who was scanning through the woods looking for Sel...
(OOC:bad busy, please to control Arcyatk as the soldier and NOT THE MAGE until i get back...
no dismemberment please!
)
OOC: Sorry about the posting problem, my computer bugged out.
Sel had seen Falx and Arco a few minutes ago, and did well in hiding. He watched them go, and went perpindicular to that direction.
He was chewing on some comberries he had found growing wild, reflecting on what he had done. Why had he seen the mysterious altmer's face on the soldier? Celia was a high elf, would he see the mage's face on her too? What might he see in the others? The fact that he had reacted so violently was the reason he left. He didn't want to actually kill one of his friends by accident. once he was free from his friends searching for him, he decided to try to find out what was wrong...maybe the mage had put a spell on him, maybe he actually was losing his mind. So be it.
OOC: sorry i skipped you red, but it took you over 7 hours to actually post...
Shakur looked at Celia. "Before you find out how to use that thing, allow me to come with you. I want to talk to him about the... incident we had with the altmer".
Celia nodded and smiled. "You're welcome to come with me, mister Redguard (Shakur)..." She rubbed the cold surface of the amulet. Remembering Sel's words, she reached a hand onto the Redguard's arm. "Sorry if you don't like to touched, but I have to keep you in contact with me....You know?"
She closed her eyes and tried to focus all her willpower and a bit of magic onto the amulet. Her arms felt tingly and her hairs on the back of her neck rising. She opened her eyes and saw the amulet glowing dimly. "Hey, I think it's doing something..." she whispered excitedly. Suddenly, before she could blink, she and Shakur were standing in a forest area in front of a familiar Dunmer face.
"Aw, Sel!" Her heart about to burst with happiness, Celia hugged Sel tightly. "I'm never letting you ever again!"
"Arco! Did you hear that? It sounded like Celia!" Falx peered down the long corridors of tree's.
"This way!" Falx took off, surpisingly fast in his Steel Armor
(OOC: Sorry, I've been really busy for the last couple o' days)
Sel tore Celia off of him, gripping her hsoulders tightly.
"What were you thinking?" Sel asked, trying to sound angry. "Did you ever think that I might have wanted to be alone?" Sel paused for a moment.
"Look, I almost killed an innocent elf because my mind saw something that wasn't there. What might I see in you one day? Or Shakur? Or any of the others? I don't want any of you dying because of my insanity."
Sel snatched the amulet out of Celia's hand. "Wh-what?" Sel asked no one in particular as he touched the amulet - It was warm again.
"You're not insane, you may have been right to try to kill that elf for all we know. He could be decieving us. His name is Sir. Noin, which sounds very imperial. Any ways, we all want you to come back, we... all of Cyrodiil needs you! Imagine what you would do to the prophicy if you denied yourself access into it!" Shakur was almost afraid of the notion of Sel leaving. How could they live without him?
Arco followed Falx, as they ran out of the woods and ended up seeing Celia and Shakur talking to Sel, who had taken the amulet...
Arco rushed in and stepped in between Celia and Sel, looking straight at Sel... "Damnet! Try to calm down for one freaking moment" Arco cried out. He took a step back, Arco wasn't there when Sel stabbed his sword into the Altmer "What is going on here?"
Shakur looked at Arco, as if thinking "Calm down? Are you just guessing the current situation?". Shakur pointed at Sel "Sel thinks he's insane, but I think there's much more to do with this elf than being an innicent bystandard".
*a few hours earlier*
Konrad awoke sleepily, the remnants of a nightmare still reverbarating around his skull. He scannned the surrounding field, and finding no-one he sighed, standing up and strapping on his sword belt. He wondered where everyone had gone, then remembering something about a forest he hijacked Celia's horse and charged off into the woods.
Hours later he found the not o merry band and fell off his horse next to them, wheezing.
"Hello everyone."
As Konrad came rushing in, Celia just stayed quiet, stunned. Her eyes filled up with tears and she whispered quietly, "Sel, you're not going insane." She smiled sadly. "If you were going insane, you would have killed me the moment we met..."
Jonacin woke up suddenly. He must have drifted off at some point. He looked around, but all of the group were gone except himself and Serene, who was still sleeping peacefully. "Hello? Where are you guys? Celia? Shakur? Konrad? Arco? Falx? Anyone?????" he called out.
"Please, everyone calm down for a moment." Falx asked of them, "Though I think looking for Sel was a good idea, I do not like the fact that Sir Noin is alone in our camp with Jonacin and Serena..."
"Sel your not crazy, well maybe you are cause you did let in that freak of a bosmer," Falx laughed, "But reguardless, so far you have been a trustworthy allie, and a great friend." He turned to everyone, "We all have a goal, and I do not believe that it is attainable without all of our strength.. Who agrees?"
Serene woke up by Jonacin calling....
"What? jonacin...what´s happening? where are the others?
"I agree" Shakur continued "and I am happy someone other than me believes us meeting is more than a coincident".
Serene woke up by Jonacin calling....

"I don't know. The only ones here are me, you, Fenris and that Sir Noin guy. How are you feeling?"

Celia nodded happily, though her eyes were still misty. "I agree, Sel has been a good friend to us for too long..." She wiped her eyes with her skirt and glanced at Shakur. "And yes, our meeting up was more than a coincindink, I think."
Suddenly, she remembered Channler's words and her eyes widened. "Oh, no! Serene and Jona, and Mister Nord, too! I left them behnind!" She asked the group, "Should I go find them? It's my fault I left them without telling them where I was going..."
"Maybe we should go back, they might be worried about us".
"Yeah... lets go" Arco demaned before he started walking back where he last saw Serene and the others...
"They´ll find us" Serene thought as she rose to her feet, wiping the dust off her cloak. "I wish I had something to eat, I´m hungry" she addressed Jonacin, " Do you happen to know where we can find some food?"
"I seem to recall passing an inn on the way out of the city. Wanna go eat? i'm sure we'll be back before the others come back for us, wherever they went" said Jonacin
Never mind.
"Aww what are we waiting for? Serene urged Jonacin to come with her ......I´m practically starving now!
"An inn sounds like heaven after sleeping in building rubble" Shakur joked.
OOC:When did Shakur get back to us? i thought he was still out in the woods with the others
"Ok Serene, calm down" said Joonacin with a grin, "let's go raid that inn for food". Upon that, he swept her off her feet and began carrying her into the city. "If you're starving i better carry you lest you collapse" he said with a laugh
OOC: sorry, thought you were someone else :embarrassed:
I'll edit my post.
Also is that romance I see Jonacain?

"Ahhh" Serene leaned back in Jonacin´s arms....."why thank you for your aid" she said but you really don´t have to carry me..hmmm but I kinda like it so..
She looked around to see if she could spot the inn...her stomach grumbled and she giggled at the soud of it
OOC: Lol Jonacin brings out the romantic in me sometimes
Jonacin laughed as Seren's stomach rumbled loudly. "Sound like i should start running" he said with a grin, before breaking into a jog
OOC : That´s very nice..I like it, it doesn´t hurt with a bit of romance in this RP!
Serene clung tighter to Jonacin as he started to run along the street, she got a warm fuzzy feeling with his arms around her.
"Jona! I smell it now" she exclaimed. food! I smell burning cook-fires....ahhhh meat, ash yam.....oooohhhhh" we must be close now..
Jonacin luahged. "The inn is just around this corner ahead of us." he said to her. rounding the corner he slowed to a walk. He walked up to the door of the inn and put Serene down again so he could open the door. "After you, m'lady" he said with a grin and a bow
" Thank you mylord!" Serene smiled at Jonacin and entered the inn.It was a typical cyrodiilic inn, a large room with wooden furniture, a counter, nice checkered tablecloths....and the smell from the kitchen was hilarious, meat, ash-yam-stew, freshly made bread....
Serene walked to a table and Jonacin took out the chair for her and bade her to sit down. She very much liked the courtesy og Jonacin and not only that, she had gotten quite warm feelings for him now and hoped he felt something for her as well...
"Come sit by me she said..the barkeep won´t be long..look he´s coming!
Jonacin sat by Serene, enjoying the closeness. He laughed at her childlike excitement at the prospect of food. When the barkeeper came over, her ordered some steak (OOC: I'm assuming they have cows.....) with fried ash yams and boiled marshmerrow (OOC:i'm inventing random foods here lol
) He turned to Serene and asked her what she wanted
OOC: I guess you're right, there is room for love in RP's. I remember that in an old RP my vampire was trying to get close enough to someone to bite them.
Shakur picked up some nearby berries. "I feel sorry for the people back at the city, they probably have no food at all. Maybe we should bring some back to them".
Sel nodded to show Shakur he agreed as he started collecting berries.
He turned to the others. "Look I know you won't leave me be, so I will come along - one one condition." He said, taking off his sword belt. "Someone has to keep this safe and out of my hands. That way I won't be stabbing people to death when my mind plays a trick on me."
OOC: lol....minque's husband is gonna kill lonwolf
OOC: I don't think he needs to worry, there's a fairly large age difference
LOL
OOC: yes let´s go for romance! And I think they´ll have some meat-animals!
"Oh I´ll have some of that meat as well" Serene said...and ashyam...,oh and those green things marshmerrows are delicious..I´ll have some of them as well....and..and bread!!! I must have bread, please say that you have bread" she looked at the barkeep demandingly
"M´kay lad, i´ll see what can be made" the barkeep responded.
Serene sat very focused on the chair eagerly waiting for the food
"Oh and mazte..we must have mazte!" she called out
"Wow Serene, you really are hungry. Just promise you wont start eating the table if he takes more than five minutes with our food" Jonacin said with a laugh. "And if you stare much harder, the table is going to catch fire or something, what with all that magic you have in you"
Celia clapped her hands. "Hooway, Sel's coming with us!" She started bouncing up and down, extremely happy. She snatched the sword belt. "If you say so, no sword belt for you!" She grinned and skipped towards the city, plucking berries every so often and putting them into her sack.
Serene bowed her head and smiled....."Don´t worry I won´t summon a barkeep loaded with food..no way i couldn´t because my magica depends on the state of nourishment.....so no food..no magic..ot at least bad and weak magic..."
Oh but now he´s coming with our mazte....cheers to you sweet Jonacin, we´ve been through a lot together lately and I say we stick together in the future as well......now I´m also a bit worried about those other guys who were with us....that sweet mer, Celia.....wonder what´s happened to them....
Shakur smiled. "Happy to know we'll have you back. I still think you should consider yourself sane. because if you think you are, you are. Anyways I think I might go ahead and look for any animals carrying meat". Shakur sped up a bit, and drew out his sword. "I hope I can find meat, I don't want to seem like I'm not pulling my weight around here".
"I'm sure she's fine, she has all those big burly men to protect her. And cheers" he added, raising his Matze before downing it all in one long swallow. "I never realised how thirtsy i was" he said with a laugh, "I better get some more"
Serene was quite happy now....sitting here with Jonacin, drinking mazte, waiting for food and also being convinced that the others just had to be ok....
" Ok let´s have some more then, " she said despite the fact that that one mug of mazte already had made her a bit dizzy....
Konrad stood up on Celia's horse shakily, glad she hadn't noticed it was her own. Waiting carefully, he jumped up and grabbed onto a nearby branch. Hauling himself up, he say a massive cliffracer nest high in the tree. Sensing no animals around he stalked his way up, though the climb was tricky and dangerous. "I can reach it..." He grasped onto the nest, but his hand fell through the weak structure and he lost his footing. Falling from the great height he put out his left arm to stop himself then with a sickening crack he landed, the bone of his left arm poking its way out of the muscle and skin.
"AAAAGH" He screamed the pain burning into his arm. "Help!Help!"
Jonacin called over to the barkeeper "Barkeep! More Matze, if you please"
Celia heard the loud thump and shouts coming from behind her. It sounded like Konrad, but she ran towards the shouts to be sure and perhaps to help. When she got to the source, she gasped. "Oh, Konrad! What have you done?"
She rushed to the wounded Imperial teenager and immediately readied her hands for healing. Glowing white light and sparkles emitted from her hands, spinning faster in order to speed up the healing process. However, this was a delicate matter, and Celia had to concentrate quite a bit.
Finally, after much concentration, Celia had fixed most of the wound. "Okay now, no more of whatever you just did, m'kay?" She glanced up at the horse. "Hey! What are you doing with my horse?" She sighed. "Never mind," she said as she stood up and dusted herself.
She continued walking towards the city, rubbing her shoulders, which were getting sore. "At this rate, we'll never get to Cyrodiil..."
Serene started chanting an old Dunmeri song.....the strange words got Jonacn to stare at her.....she knew this would startle him so she thought she had to explain:
"I grew up among the Ashlanders , at the Ahemmussa tribe she said slowly....they taught me all I know, but don´t tell Jonacin, I might be banned by the other imperials....
The strange but beautiful tone made the barkeep hesitate for a moment as he brought theis mazte...
Shakur heard the screaming. "In the name of Tava what is screaming?" He turned around and ran.
OOC: ignore this post...got behind

OOC: I think you mean Falx lol
"Really? I managed to earn the trust of the Urshilaku during the years i spent on Vvardenfell, and they made me a member of their tribe. They really are a fascinating people".
But you're right, i don't think we should let Falx know.
OOC: By everybody, I gotta go now
OOC. yes sorry....of course i meant falx!
" You too! then you´ll understand! Ypu know Sinnamu Mirpal was my foster-mother she taught me all i know.
Then they started eating and as they were very hungry they sat silent for a while just enjoying the food..
"Ahh this was exactly what I needed" said Serene, leaning back in the chair with quite a ridiculous smile in her face
Jonacin couldn't help but laugh at the look on Seren's face when she finished her food. "I take it you enjoyed that" he said, grinning
Oh Aye...she replied....I feel very much fortified now.....should we try to find the others? or shall we ask for a room here?..to rest and...
"I suppose we may as well get a room, the others aren't going to find us if we go wandering about looking for them" said Jonacin
(OOC: If you don't mind, Dantrag...? :ashamed: )
Celia was very much happy to be on her way to find Serene. And not to mention, Sel was going with them after all... And no demons... So, she felt very much satisfied about the whole day's events. She skipped towards the outskirts of the city and as she got close to the city, she shouted, smiling, "Serene! Jona! Mister Nord! Where are you?"
Ok you´re right" Serene said with a happy smile, the thought of renting a room and be able to rest together with Jonacin appealed to her...she found the tall Redguard very attractive, especially after having her basic needs satisfied. Besides he really had been a perfect gentleman and she was not used to be so well treated..not by men anyfway...
Konrad grabbed onto Celia's horse, for she had not started to ride it but walk back, and galloped back to Cyrodiil, charging past Celia. With a wave of his hand he had vanished into the now darkening forest. At the thrilling speeds he was pleased his arm was in working condition and he soon got back to the city. He leapt off the horse and roll across the grass, but looking back he saw the horse lying on the floor. Checking, he confirmed the death of the beast. Feeling his stomach rumble he walked to the nearest inn, now with a few drunkards outside the door.
Looking in through the window, he saw Jonacin and Serene laughing around with each other and decided to go to the inn further down the street.
(OOC: How in the world did you kill her horse? Do you want a certain female Altmer angry at you? )
"Hey!" Celia shouted as Konrad rushed by her on her horse. "How rude! Go easy on that horse or else!" She walked towards the city, calling out once again, "Jona, Serene, where are you, sillies?"
(OOC: If you don't mind, Dantrag...? :ashamed: )
OOC: If I don't mind what?
"They've probably found much better accomadations than we have." Sel said to Celia, after she was done calling for their missing companions. "And about the horse, I wouldn't worry too much about it." Sel added.
OOC: I tired it to death.
Konrad ordered two pints of ale from the barkeep and even though he looked at him suspiciously, he handed over the drinks anyway. Going outside Konrad sat down next to the dead horse, wondering what to do next. After ten minutes thought, he threw the mugs of ale onto the horse then set it alight. Flames were calming... and he felt warm now.

When the barkeeper said he did, Jonacin paid for a room for the night, and then went to get Serene. "We have a room for the night. I'm going up now to get some rest" he said to her. He went up to the room, and began taking his armour off. He was so used to wearing it by now, he had nearly forgotten about it.
Serene followed Jonacin up to the rented room. There was one bed in it, a bit broader that usual beds but not especially big....
She watched Jonacin take off his armour, oh he had a beautiful body that redguard, Serene enjoyed looking at a man again, it had been too long since she´d had that opportunity...
She took off her cloak and let it fall to the ground......then she asked Jonacin if he would volunteer to help her with the buttons on the back of her dress.....
"Sure thing, here you go" said Jonacin, undoing the buttons
OOC: I repeat...if I don't mind what?
Sel thought for a second. "I remember seeing an inn while we were escorting the refugees...I think I would have gone there too." he said. "I'm hungry. Comberries don't do it for very long."
Serene closed her eyes....the gentle touch of Jonacin´s hands when unbuttoning her dress made her feel good......
When being in her underwear she looked for a possibility to wash herself....oh there was a bucket in the corner, with fresh water, and also a piece of sload-soap.
Serene was very pleased, as she really appreciate cleanness..
"Jonacin, look" she said, " We can wash ourselves" She immediately went to the bucket and let a handful of fresh water splash in her face
(OOC: Dantrag, I wasn't sure whether or not I could post or not, since you left up 'posting' for a long time... I thought you would be back after awhile...)
Celia stopped. "Hey, you're right! We should check out the inns..." She smiled at Sel. "Just don't drink too much, or I may have to keep you in check by force." She giggled and ran ahead to the inn, dragging Sel by the hand.

Sel decided to play along.
"The force of my insanity will overcome any force you can muster!" he said with a laugh. "Besides, I never get drunk."
Celia stuck out her tongue. "Yeah, right! I'll bet you're more likely to get drunk than anyone in our entire group!" She walked to the door of the inn and cracked it open. "Hello! Is this inn still open?"
"Ahhhh wonderful" Serene enjoyed being scrubbed on her back......shall i scrub your back?" she asked in a low voice
The innkeeper came outside.
"Yes, we are open, but I'm afraid we don't have any rooms left."
Sel nodded. "Can we still order food?" Sel asked, then quickly added, "And drinks?"
The innkeeper smiled. "Come on in."
As they walked in, Sel looked over to Celia. "You realize we left Shakur, Arco, and Knight way back there, right? Oh, well. I guess they'll come along shortly."
He waved to the bartender. "Matze, please - if you have any dunmeri drinks. If not, I'll have a flin...Oh, and some kwama eggs please."
"Ahhhh wonderful" Serene enjoyed being scrubbed on her back......shall i scrub your back?" she asked in a low voice
"That would be great. The scars make it awkward though" said Jonacin.
(Jonacin's upper body is covered in scars, mostly on his front as he always faces his enemies, but some many on his back from attacks from behind)
"Oh Jonacin" Serene said , "I´ll try to make it more bearable to you"
She took out some green plants from the pouch she always wore hanging under her shirt, also some scrib-jelly with which she mixed the plants to a thick good-smelling green paste....
"You had those for dinner a while ago" she said "now I´ll rub them on your skin and we´ll se if that doesn´t do the trick"
It was a healing paste made from marshmerrow, hackle-lo and heather originally but this time Serene had to settle with marshmerrow.
She rubbed the paste gently on Jonacins back....... as she was chanting an ancient Dunmeri song...
Celia glared playfully at Sel. "Drinking, huh? If you get drunk, you owe me a few gold pieces!"
She turned to the barkeeper. "None for me, of course. Perhaps some bread and water?" She asked the barkeeper when he came back with their meals, "Hey, have you seen a Redguard and an Imperial woman come by here, together? They're companions of ours and we're searching for them..."
The barkeeper raised an eyebrow. "Yes, indeed I did... They're using a room right now, so I'd rather you not disturb them."
Celia herself raised an eyebrow. "What would I disturb?" Ignoring the man's protests, she ran up the steps towards the bedrooms...
Ignore this post.

Jonacin sighed as the marshmerrow paste soothed the scars criss-crossing his back. "Thanks Serene. My back hasn't felt that good in years" he said to Serene
After the rubbing-in she wrapped a thin soft piece of cloth around his ody and then led him towards the bed..
"Lie down now my love she said......
The room was rather chilly so she laid down beside him to keep the warmth.....
Shakur finally entered the Inn and gladly took a seat. "I'll have your most expensive meat and your largest, tastiest and most alchoholic drink". A bottle of high priced vintage brandy and some great smelling meat was ploped infront of him. Shakur drew out his large wallet, full of dwemer coins and gold he had collected while in Morrowind. "Do you accept heaping amounts of cash?" Shakur said jokingly.
Joncain was surprised when Serene called him "My love", but he soon realised that he liked it. He put his arm around her shoulders and drew her close to him when she lay down beside him
So they lay down beside each other ........and as far as Serene thought it was the finest thing that had happened to her in a long time
She closed her eyes and drifted off.....into a deep dreamless sleep
Jonacin lay awake for some time after Serene fell asleep, just listening to her breathing. Eventually he drifted off to sleep as well.
OOC: shall we leave them there for the night? I tink I have to quit now, it´s late and I must work tomorrow....
OOC: Yeah sure
Shakur drank three glasses of the brandy. "Wow, a buzz! That's the first one in like twelve years". Shakur finished his meat. "You know, after being on the road for so long, eating all kinds of things, I would've paid a thousand gold to eat crab meat, but after eating that meat, I'm in a state of nirvana" joked Shakur.
OOC: I'm going now, I might be on later.
Sel ran up the steps after Celia and grabbed her, turning her around to facee him.
"And what are you doing?" he asked her. "They rented a room. And you can't tell me you haven't noticed the looks they've been giving each other while we've travelled. So just sit right back down and leave them be." Sel said. "Come on, you know you want more than bread and water." he teased.
Shakur looked at Sel and Celia. "Celia, you don't want to go in there. Sel, stop pushing alchohol" said Shakur, sounding almost father-like.
"Everybody has someone hoping they live through these hellish events. Suprisingly, I'm part of that group". Shakur was starting to lighten up, getting ready to tell stories of his life.

"What? I'm not pushing alchohol! It's a friendly joke." Sel protested. "So sit, Celia, and have a sip." He said while handing her the bottle of matze. "Just leave some for me."
"Hmm, are you sure you don't want to take a few bottles and stand on the sidewalk for a while?" Shakur said jokingly. "Or how about some skooma?".
"Stop acting like an old person and have a little fun." Sel joked back.
Celia giggled. "Aw, but I want to ruin their fun..." She smiled, but pushed away the bottle of matze, quietly refusing it. "I survived long enough without that in my entire life."
She smiled and turned to Shakur. "Hey, got any stories, interesting experiences in your life? I'm bored, and I'm itching to stumble into the bedrooms upstairs..." She giggled again and sipped her water.
Falx let the others go on ahead to do what they wished, after all, how can they rest when there are still refugees left, and how in the world is that bar opened?
He let all the confusing and contridicting thoughts flow out of his mind. His horse was trailing it's master, Falx thought to himself, "Ha, so far your the last of my friends, closer then any family I can remeber, and the last one I'd want to loose"
Falx turned and looked at Akatosh, "One day, me and you will go someplace far away and see many different spectacles. One day..." Falx was slowly aging. At the age of 5 he was sent to the Imperial Academy of Greater Learning, the best in the lands, and for 13 years he trained, and he trained, for his emperor. After his succesful graduation Falx went on campains with many great generals, after all, it was only years after the unkown hero closed shut the gates of oblivion. At least 16 years later, he had been fighting still, rare in many cases. Falx's body was still strong, but his mind was told him to quit.
"Lets go buddy" He rubbed the horse's mane.
Sel was serious when he said he wasn't going to get drunk. He put down what was left of the matze and turned to face Celia.
"Itching to get into other peoples' business?" Sel asked in a mock-accusatory tone. "I never would have guessed that you were the nosy type."
Sel then changed the subject. "I do agree with you on one thing Celia - A nice tale would be good right now." he said turning to face Shakur.
"Oh, blah! I'm not nosy! I'm just... curious, m'kay..." She giggled and glanced at the matze. "You're not going drunk? You little... Trying to sneak out of a bet!" She stuck out her tongue at Sel, then turned to the Redguard. "Tell us a story, mister Redguard! Pweeese?"
Sel muttered under his breath, "Pssh, curious, that's it."
He then looked to Shakur, expecting him to begin his story.
OOC: sorry for not logging off, you all thought I was going to post.
IC: "Hmmm, well, most of my stories involve deep meditation and patience, which isn't all that interesting. Wait, how about the time I learned I was still being hunted by the dark brotherhood? Well, I was hunting our would be asassin, I was 25 at the time. I had tracked a woman down in an ashlander camp who was aperantly the asassin's ex-wife. She had been cheated on by the asassin, so she was eager to tell me where he was. He was a regular at R'avirr's shop in Balmora. The asassin had learned of her "treason" against him, and had her killed. I was friends with the ashlanders at the time, and lead an attack on a known Dark Brotherhood hide out. I came to R'avirr's shop where he and an asassin attacked me. I stabbed R'avirr in the face with my gauntlet and used his war hammer to knock out the asassin. When he came to, he said I was "doomed to a higher fate" and that "the N'wah will be drove away from all of Nirn". Turns out someone belived I was part of a bigger picture, and wanted everyone connected to me murdered. But what disturbes me is the details he knew of my life, and that I will "lead the S'wit into evil things" and that is why I must die. After I killed him, I married my love in secret so the brotherhood wouldn't kill her. "
"What happened to her?" Sel asked. He knew it might bring back too many painful memories for Shakur, but his curiousity got the best of him.
"What do you mean what happened to her? She's living happily in balmora getting ready to move to here. Do I come off as a sad guy or something?"
Sel smiled. "Do you want the truth, or a horrible save?"
He looked at Celia. "I may need my sword back right now..."
"I'll take the truth, very direct guy that way" Shakur laughed.
(OOC: You really got this thread running Minque, I take my eyes away and its a new 100 posts... Took me sometime)
Arco didn't have a chance to react before Shakur, Sel and Celia had taken of after Jonacin and Serene soon followed by Falx... Arco started to walk after them slowly taking his hand over his left eye, the pain was still there and his vision was still blurry. Arco sat down on the road side in the fresh grass, that was untouched by the flames from the demons. 'Maybe I should leave them alone now, let them continue on their journey' Arco thought...
He once again remembered his friends, the scars of their deaths had never left Arco. He wasn't sure if he would ever make that connection to anyway again, he leaned back looking into the air. He was curious to see where their "friendship" could go, but he had been alone for so many years. 'Maybe it was never my destiny to make friends' Arco thought, but denied. He rubbed his face gently before getting up, he started walking against the where the others had gone. He could see the Inn, he walked slowly up to the little window near the door, looking in. Arco stepped back before he satt down on a bench outside taking up his weapons started to clean them... 'It's maybe time for me to leave...' he thought as he cleaned the blade gently...
OOC: Fuzzy, is your avatar from NWN?
Sel scratched his head. "Well the truth is, Shakur...you being so quiet and reserved all the time makes you seem sad. Seirously. It does." In the awkward silence that followed, Sel finally said, "Okaaaay, I'm getting more drink."
Serene woke up, she didn´t know what made her wak up, maybe some noise outside...yes there was a sort of noise and it came from outside. She sneaked out of bed not waking Jonacin up, he slept so good and he surely needed all the sleep he could get.
As she carefully opened the window, it was on the same side as the door on the ground floor, and then leaned out she saw a man sitting outside on the bench near the door.It was something familiar about him........Then she realised..it was Arco!!
"Psst Arco" she whispered, " we´re up here, Jonacin and me, where have you been? and how are you"
"Do you need any help?"
"Aw, poor mister Reguard (Shakur)! You sound sad... too serious! You need to smile more!" Celia pinched the Redguard's cheeks.
She looked up towards the stairs leading to the bedrooms. "I'm tired of waiting, they should be up by now!" She ran upstairs and gleefully knocked on every door, hoping to find the right one. "Come on, wake up, sillies!"
Arco looked into the ground... Before turning and looking up at Serene...
"Hehe, I've been looking for Sel after he took of in the woods and suddently everybuddy runs of... I'm fine by the way" Arco replied, but he was a terrible lier and it was very clear the he was a little down at the moment...
"Celia, Shakur and Sel is inside, getting drunk..." he fast added...
Sel looked at Shakur. "Sorry, couldn't keep her from being nosy that time..."
Serene saw that Arco was not feeling well at all so she decided to go down and see if she could be of any assistance.
Then she heard steps in the stairs and quickly opened the door...and so she stood face to face with Celia, who was jumping up and down ..as the young girl opened her mouth to shout something Serene laid her hand over the girl´s mouth
"Shhhh, lassie, don´t wake up Jonacin, he need s some more sleep, come with me down so we´ll help Arco out, it will be a good practise for you!"
Celia giggled and nodded her head, happy that Serene was alive and awake. She whispered to Serene, "Tee hee, you mean he's too silly to get up." She took Serene's hand and hopped quietly down the stairs.
She then remembered Serene's words and asked, still giggling, "Practice, you say? For what? Is Arco being silly, too?"

"I guess your right, but sometimes I feel like I have to. It's not very easy to smile when your fighting beasts or a friend dissapears. Also, some times I feel like people depend on me, and I always get almost too serious protecting them that I'm afraid to let my guard down. Anyways, I just got another bottle, and I'm not gonna be a depressing drunkard, so anyone want a drink?" Shakur smiled, lifting his second vintage brandy high and proud.
Celia dear...he´s not feeling well I think he´s depressed....but we´ll see..
is there any breakfast by the way? i must bring something up to Jonacin later.....
Shakur drank his sixth drink. "Huh, only a buzz... I'm not even tired. I guess I'll just go for a quick walk and get my legs working again, they're getting numb" Shakur took celia's advice and smiled all the way out, where he saw the gathering crowd of companions. "What happened, is someone hurt?" Shakur said quietly.
Serene was trying to comfort Arco, while she sent Celia inside to investigate about breakfast...
A while later she was told there was a variety of foodstuffs available so she asked Celia to keep Arco company while she was going in to get breakfast for Jonacin.
she got some boiled kwama-eggs, bread, a nice cold beef from yesterday and also some fried marshmerrows, quite unusual to fry marshmerrows but they tasted really good so she btought it up on a tray and woke Jonacin up:
"Heey my dear! Wake up I´ve brought you some breakfast" she said to Jonacin with a big smile. She gently stroke Jonacin´s cheek as she sat down on the bedside with the tray .....
Jonacin woke up to the sight of Serene sitting beside him on the bed holding a tray of food. "Breakfast? In bed?. I definitely wasn't expecting that. Thanks" he said to her, giving her a kiss on the cheek
"Did you sleep well?" Serene smiled at Jonacin, "All our comrades are here, so as soon as you have eaten I´ll rub your back again just in case and then we´ll join them downstairs....by the way Arco is here but he´s not feeling well, so I´m a bit concerned about him"
Sel looked out the window. "Whoa... it's morning already. I probably should have slept, but oh well."
He was still worried about hurting one of his friends due to the incident with the altmer...where was the altmer?
Sel tapped Shakur on the shoulder. "Where is the altmer I almost stabbed? Did he go his own way, or did he travel with one of us?"
"Did you sleep well?" Serene smiled at Jonacin, "All our comrades are here, so as soon as you have eaten I´ll rub your back again just in case and then we´ll join them downstairs....by the way Arco is here but he´s not feeling well, so I´m a bit concerned about him"
"I slept very well. And i don't think i need another back rub, but it would be welcome anyway. Good to know are comrdaes are all safe though" said jonacin around a mouthful of food
The Door opened, and Fenris stumbled in. "Sweet compassion, y'all go into town while i'm out there, wondered where the hell everyone went..." he said. "Geeze," he added, wiping his head with his forearm, there was a black, spikey, and rather heavy looking helmet in his hand. A Daedric one. "On Top 'o dat, this freking Daedra guy, he jumps me! Kicked his british boat though, even got his helmet."
With that the Nord stuck the helmet on his head. "How they see in these contraptions i'll never know.." he said.
Shakur never had a chance to answer because of Fenris's loud entrance.
"We'll never get rid of you, will we?" Sel said jokingly to the tongue.
Serene rubbed the soothing paste once more on Jonacin´s back as he was finishing his breakfast, then she gave him a clean shirt to wear instead of his old dirty one.
"We´ll find a lake or river so we can wash later on " she said with a frown, "Your shirt really smells by now Jona"
So then they packed their gear and got ready to meet the rest of the company already waiting downstairs.
"I thought I heard Fenris" Serene said in a cheerful voice, "Well that´s really good"
Konrad stood up from the fire, then slowly slumped into the inn. He sat down next to Sel, thinking deeply. Putting his feet up onto the table, he drew his sword, drawing blood at every fingertip to pass the time.
Fenris grinned, sliding the helmet off his head and letting it thump to the floor, hardly a inch away from his foot. "You'll have to try better than that Dunmer," he said jokingly. He nodded to Serene as she came down. "Heya.."
Jonacin walked down the stairs behind Serene. He saw the others in the inn. "Hi everyone. Where did you all run off to yesterday?"
Hey! Fenris! Serene was very happy to see him alive and sound...
"So guys, what do you think will be the best move from here? Now Jonacin and myself have had a good sleep and also some food so we feel as we are fresh and fit for fight" Serene sat sdown beside Fenris and gave himn a big hug
"But we have to support Arco" she added he´s really not by his senses....
Sel looked at Konrad and his strange way of passing the time.
"Wow. Get some food. Eating is a little more healthy than cutting your fingers."
He then turned to adress everyone else in the group. "Where is the altmer I almost killed? Did he come in with any of you? And about Arco...I'll talk to him."
"Ah that´s very kind of you Sel" Serene was happy to get some help with that poor soul Arco, so shall we have a meeting now then to decide what to do next?
"Where´s Celia by the way?"
Jonacin walked down the stairs behind Serene. He saw the others in the inn. "Hi everyone. Where did you all run off to yesterday?"
Fenris pointed to the helmet on the floor. "Some Demon blindsided me while i was wandering about. Put up a damn good fight, too. Was probably a Daedric 'Count'. Or whatever they're called. Nasty buggers," he said. "Then i had to find you lot.."
He was a big surprised when Serene hugged him. "Might wanna be careful there, Rib's a bit sore, bugger nailed me i nthe chest with a Daedric Warhammer."
"Aww Fenris, excuse me" Serene looked regretfully at Fenris, i just was so happy to see you!
"'s Alright," he replied. "Its fine, Armor took most of the blow. Even if the skaal don't follow the traditional Nordic gods, and follow their 'One' they make damn fine armor."
Konrad fished around his sack for a stale piece of bread he'd kept, then started biting into it hungrily. "Dunmer, that soldier is still asleep outside...but I heard a few funny things that he was saying in his sleep." He stared at Sel, then took another bite from his bread.
"So are we here all by now?" Serene thought she might start the meeting immediately....
Soo who will start?
"I'm not needed for this meeting, so I'll go outside to get some air...and talk to Arco, of course." Sel said, standing up. He tore off a piece of Konrad's bread, and went outside before the imperial boy could say a word.
Come on guys!! Serene sounded annoyed, Don´t run away now, do we have a mission or not? Shall we look this evil sorcerer up or not? Sel you have had your encounter with him you know more than the rest of us.... If we´re not going on any mission, Jonacin and me can get out of here and try heading for High Rock ot Yokuda as far as I´m concerned..
She the sat down after her outburst just staring at the tired bunch of people sitting by the table
Sel stopped in the middle of the doorway, astonished at Serene's outburst. He slowly closed the door and sat back down.
he whispered in Konrad's ear. "Women."
(OOC: Ack, forgot what Fuzzy wanted me to say... Oh, well, I'll just improv.)
Celia had been busy talking to Arco while the others talked among themselves at the nearest table. She had been a little surprised at Serene's outburst, but she shrugged. Celia's done her share of outbursts before also. So she did not mind Serene's little outburst too much.
She turned back to Arco to talk some sense into him. "Hey, you got friends now, and," she added before Arco could protest, "will not let ourselves get killed with our 'adventuring' as you call it." She gave Arco a hug. "I promise, you will not lose friends again. And, no, you don't always have to be a loner. Not if I can help it." She smiled and dragged Arco to the table where the others were.
Giggling, she piped up, "I'm here! And I talked to Arco, so hopefully, he'll feel better!"
Ah that was nice of you Celia..Serene smiled again, so now i suggest we take a drink together and then outline our next moves...maybe Celia has some suggestions? you are still young lassie and your mind is fresh as the morning dew....
Serene went to the bar and fetched a big jar filled with mazte....
"I'm the same age as her, nobody says anything about my fresh mind." Sel complained.
(OOC: Oops, sorry, my bad. Did I skip you, Minque?)
Celia giggled and hugged Sel real quick. "Because you're a silly little Dunmer!" she said jokingly.
She thought for a moment, then raised and waved her hand like a young school-girl trying to get her teacher's attention. "Ooh, ooh, ooh!" She bounced up and down. "I have a suggestion: How about we ask the barkeeper and other peoples or important mage peoples for a bit of rumours about any evil magics or something. And maybe prod Sel for some clues. But, whether or not we find out something, I suggest we go find Falx, and go together to find this evil guy."
She glanced at Sel and some of the others. "Unless you want to rest now?"
Aww I´m sorry Sel, Serene sighed, but you wanted to get out of here....now then...what do ytou say Sel..? i´m sure you can come up with something....
Serene looked sadly at Jonacin......"boys, she thought"
"I was just being sarcastic about the whole 'fresh mind' thing, but anyway, Celia, I doubt your suggestion would work. Most people are too closed-minded about mages. Even healing magic is dark magic to the common people." Sel began. "I would suggest getting sould trapped. On purpose. But don't ask me how."
He continued. "I'm not even sure that spell that caught me was even a soul trap. All that happened was I blacked out and woke up in a strange prison." If we could do that, we might be able to get close to the mage."
He reached in his pocket and put a hackle-lo leaf in his mouth.
well It might make sence what you just said, Serene nodded......let´s hear more now..
OOC: I have to leave now, working day tomorow....g´night!
Aww I´m sorry Sel, Serene sighed, but you wanted to get out of here....now then...what do ytou say Sel..? i´m sure you can come up with something....

"I'm not sure we boys ever grow up either" said Jonacin, laughing
"Yeah... Lets keep on track here, our sorcerer most be somewhere. Where should we start?" Arco said out his silence..
"But I need to visit one of the few friends I have left, a black smith in Morrowind... I think its time to digg out my families ancient scimitars for this one..." Arco added giving of a grin before leaning back...
"Well Jonacin, I don´t really regard you as .....a boy," Serene smiled, then turned to Arco and said:
" I understand you have an urge to visit your friend, then do you want company on your travel to Morrowind? I´d be glad to accompany you, and I hope Jonacin would as well"
Serene pored herself another mug of Mazte and sipped it slowly as she looked at Arco and Jonacin
"That would be nice.. As long as we dont loose track of this sorcerer, it might take some time to get the camp in Morrowind" Arco replied as Minque drank here Mazte..
"Is this scimitar enchanted by any chance Arco? We could use a few enchanted wepons to take down this mage. Plus they look cool and are shiney" Shakur said jokingly. "Samn, I think Celia's perspective on life is rubbing off on me" Shakur smiled. "Or maybe it's this happiness I've read so much about".
"The ancient family scimitars is the most magnificant power of magic I've ever seen or wielded... so yes.. They are enchanted and shiny" Arco replied... He looked around, it was morning already - Maybe they should take the initative to go now... Its a long journey to Morrowind...
Now this one has reached the end of it´s life so...
