mALX's family thanks you. Now they have to scrape hyperactive squirrel brains off the ceiling. wink.gif

I'm liking the magic a lot. Flamethrower the zombies!

Skyrim looks absolutely stunning. I was secretly hoping to see an Argonain (after seeing screenies of some of the other races) but no luck. I love the new combat (which seems to flow better) and of course I love the mammoths and giants! which don't attack on sight! biggrin.gif

P.S did anyone else see the 'Talk' option pop up when the reticle was over the giant? or was I dreaming?

Looks kinda underwhelming to me. The plains looked pretty bland. They really should've showed off more variety if there is any.

Skyrim's heavy. No doubt about that. The RP experience it would give ... Heavy.

I'm sure Skyrim will be out for quite some time before I get around to it, but I was impressed by the vid. I quite love the atmosphere of the prehistoric tundra 'Ice Age' scenes, complete with mammoths. From what I saw/heard at least, the magic, archery, sneak and dragons sound good. I also like that the words 'sand box' were used in describing the game.

Did anybody else get a real big grin when they noticed that Skyrim would feature creatures that DON'T automatically attack you?

I know I did. One problem I've always had with open world RPG's is the concept that every animal in the wild wants to attack me, with the exception of the flighty and alchemically useful deer.

Now I don't have to worry about fighting every giant I see, unless I really, really, really want to. biggrin.gif

Some more of the same there but we also have a lot more new information, like the lack of birth signs. I like some of the things I saw there, but others not so much.

When that critter ran across the path instead of going for the guy’s throat, I let out a most un-Nordly squeal. I’m looking forward to wildlife sightings without the follow-up bloodbath. smile.gif
