I am working on a mod that will create Aedric Elemental Spirits for Skyrim, by taking existing creatures and reworking them a bit. I already have Flaming Familiars, Frost Wyrms, Salamanders, and Gnomes. I could use some help with naming the last two.

The burnt spriggan almost looks like melted rock to me, so I was thinking something like Magma _______. Maybe relate it to the Red Mountain that exploded a while back in Morrowind.

Maybe a Magma Maiden for the Burnt Spriggan clone?
For now I am going with Storm Elemental for the Shock Astronaut clone. I would like use something better though...

Aedrics, eh? Stormies are weather related it seems. As in rain, sky and the goddess that overseas that domain - Kyne/Kynareth. . . see where I'm going? What comes to mind is something like Kyne's Hand of Justice, Kynareth's Righteous Vengence, Volt of Kyne, something from that direction mayhaps?

Kyne's Wrath? Kyne's Tempest? However if you go in that direction, you'd almost have to make one for every divine...

Kyne's Fury (my go-to name for combining Shock and Frost anything), Breath of Akatosh, um... Ice Cubes of Arkay? No, I guess Frost Wyrms (love that name!) have that one covered.

The shock elemental reminds me of a storm or a hurricane.
I don't know, storm-raiser or Hurricane Guardian?

I knew I would get some great ideas from the folks here!
Right now I think Grits pretty much has a lock on the Storm Guy with Cyclone. My jury is still out on the Burt Spriggan, I like Magma Maiden, but Fflammerch sounds good too.

http://i.imgur.com/AMszqGG.jpg (I did not realize Bethesda was using that exact name for the ones that blow up!). So I am going to have to use a different name for my non-exploding Aedra version. Does anyone have any ideas?

Oh! This is somewhat on the same subject. What about using Kyne's Guardian Spirits as summons? The mammoth might present problems, but the spirit bear and sabrecat would be awesome. (So would the skeever and mudcrab, to me.)

I'm late to the party as usual... sorry about that. I don't know if you're looking for descriptive names to describe a race that you are able to summon or singular names for an individual that you summon over and over again (like hautee's 'Bones'). I think you already have some pretty good ones for the former. For the latter, http://www.20000-names.com/element_names.htm might help.
