Jerric found a copy of A Guide to Fishing Tamriel, but due to game mechanics he was unable to stash it in his pack for later reference. So in the spirit of our Skyrim Alchemist’s Notebook thread, here’s a place to make a page of information that is useful to you. As you find more things in your travels that you’d like to jot down for future reference, just edit your first post and add it in. You’ll end up with a clean and simple sheet of info that you’ll be able to find when you need it.

Bait. Use the right kind. Throw out the drowned bait. Minnows and chub are not for eating.

Lake – guts or minnows
Murky water – crawlers or fish roe
