QUOTE(minque @ Sep 9 2007, 06:49 PM) StargieOh what a wonderful sound of a running washing-machine! Sorry mate, couldn´t resist, ´cause my wm has been working the whole weekend This weekend has been great....just me and Furball.....but tonight good times end...3/5 of the family returns... Mine does too, now. It was an easy repair: the receiver wheel on the drum lost its screw and consequently the belt connecting it to the engine flipped. I reattached the screw and put the belt back on. Right now it's doing 1400 RPM and it sounds goooooooood! Wolfie: You'd say that. It means less work for you

Hmm....I reckon you are getting really skilled....you have repaired those thingies quite a few times by now right?

Zarrexaij: QUOTE Been gone all day; visited/got visited by a special someone (aka my ex, who is also my best friend). That's nice! It is good to see people that still get along with their Exes. So often the parting ends up being nasty. Congratulations to the both of you. The Metal Mallet: QUOTE Now if only I had a decent word processor on my laptop so I could continue writing.... yea, I forgot to mention that Just use a simple text editor, that's what I've been doing for all my stuff. Metapad (a freeware notpad clone for windows) comes to mind as one example. I use nano on the linux side. Plain text No formatting means more focusing on content, and not on spacing/font/etc. milanius: QUOTE Now I am seriously worried some of that food might get rotten in 4-5 days, since my stomach can only stomach so much food per day. From my own experience, you can freeze just about anything, including things like bagels or soup (tupperware or other such reusable plastic container). Microwave to defrost/reheat. trey_dog: QUOTE I wish I could be more active here than I have been in the last months- I feel a certain responsibility to the other writers (and to my readers). But various R.L. Word! Some R.L. things also have messed my writing up at the moment. My "chapter every five days" posting rate has been horribly reduced. I am sorry. Rest assured, if I ever get in a situation where I cannot finish the story, I won't do like OverrideB1: I'll post a short summary so no one is left hanging. I can do this because the plot lines (Ice Witches, Runa, Apronia, Svenja, main quest, etc.) have all been mapped out. Lord Revan: QUOTE I remember well when some jerk just registered to post porno around (He dared to post some in my ARCHIVES!!!) Mmmmmmm, porn ... uh, I mean ... How evil of them! Shameful! Bad! minque: QUOTE ppl are gorgeous here....they are really so sweet! Agreed. I like the people here. Much talent and much friendliness.

Wow, you're the first person who hasn't said "That's wierd" or "You're crazy." I refuse to be the stereotypical jealous, psychotic [beep] ex. I'm just not that type of person. That, and I'd like karma to actually go in favor of me for once....

Zarrexaij:Congrats for being best friend with your ex! Gah..I never managed that....There were always hard feelings and ...well not good anyway. You should cherish that..... Mallie:But you are gorgeous...and kind...and funny....and I like your music-listening-lists! Pisces:Oh I bet you are! Especially modest! That is a virtue you know..... Soulseeker:Rane once said we could leave this coffee-thread open! I reckon if he thinks it´s enough he´ll just pop in and close the premises!

QUOTE(Zarrexaij @ Sep 10 2007, 11:05 PM) Apparently the gingerkid doesn't know what the hell he wants and is clingy himself; he was back with thundercu... err, I mean the pseudogoth. Again.
What a turn off...
Arrrr, the disappointments of getting close to your target of appreciation... just to have your entire dream crushed 10 seconds after they open their mouths [thank God for Firefox's spell check ]

Yeah, people tend to appear bright, interesting, and real, right before they open their mouths.
Generally, the rule here is that you should only see attractive people, not hear them. As a rule, really attractive people tend to be 1) really stupid, 2) really conceited, 3) gay, 4) crazy, a combination of the above, or all of the above.

Thankfully, I'm neither! I mean, I'm neither attractive or SMRT In any case, I'm off for tonight. Another interview tomorrow, in roughly 10 hours. Wish me luck o/
