QUOTE(blockhead @ Aug 12 2007, 01:38 PM) Tall women are hot. Err, I better stay on topic. Anyway, I'm not tall. That's the word on the street, but I've never really seen any evidence of that first hand I'm pretty much exactly the same height as my boyfriend, but when I strike up the courage to wear heels I'm quite a bit taller then him- I don't think he appreciates it too much... an insult to his manhood or something I suppose

QUOTE(minque @ Aug 18 2007, 11:19 PM) I....will very soon be the shortest in my family! My son (12) is approaching very fast, he´s about 5 cm shorter than me! I´m 1,70 metres.....NO, I do NOT know what it is in those weird units like feet and inches! (Feet is what you walk with btw, not a unit! pfff ) Haha mom! I AM taller than you now. I'm 1,72 meters.

I'm one centimeter taller than my boyfriend. Luckily his shoes have rather thick soles, so no one every notices it. I can, however, never wear high heels. Not that I'd want to, anyway, but you never know. I'm around 6'1" I think, as I'm 183 cm tall. My whole family is tall though. My father, my uncles and my nephews/cousings are around 200 cm tall. My boyfriend often gets laughed at because he's so small compared to the men in my family.

I have an average lenght. But I'm not familiarised with inches and stuff so I can't be more specific.

Average height is very dependable upon the country you live in, but as I know where you come from, average height would be between 5'8" to 6'2" for adult males. This post has been edited by Ethelle: Apr 9 2008, 12:29 PM

Means you're just under 5'9. Which I'd say is average in most of Europe still. Of course, I would say that - seeing as I'm 5'9 and live in England England? I didn't knew they also used "meter" (or however it's called in English)

We don't really, especially not for things like height. Still use good old fashioned feet and inches. However I found a handy little tool via google... http://www.csgnetwork.com/csgcvtmeters2ftincalc.html , That could work

Phah! Silly internet tools! Doesn't anyone calculate with one's head anymore? *grumble grumble* I learned to calculate from the metric to English system and back very quickly when playing Dungeons and Dragons, with rolling character stats and all. Anyway, getting off topic, so I'll shut up.
