Brianna
"Yes!, that would be like the old days, you and me going out doing things together. I'll just get my things ready and we can go now....I'll prepare some food so we can have a picnic on the way"
She sang as she went inside to prepare for the trip, so what food to bring? She took her biggest satchel and put in some bread, cheese, vegetables and a bottle of comberry juice. She thought about bringing a bottle of brandy as well, and decided to do it. Then they needed a couple of blankets, in case they had to spend the night outside or if there would be a chilly evening.
Naturally the plan wasn't to spend days out there, but her gut-feeling told her to be prepared....
She went over to Rahvin where he was standing preparing his gear and hugged him from behind....
He used to be very angry when someone sneaked up on him, she remembered once , long ago, when she was almost killed doing just what she was doing now, but she was convinced he'd be more patient now
"Rahvin", she whispered, her cheek tight to his back, "Are you ready, love?" She pressed herself tight to his back

Rahvin"Almost," he answered, glad to have Brianna's company, "Just a few more to go." He was standing in front of his workbench, inspecting the last of the arrows he had just fletched. After sliding the final arrow into his quiver, Rahvin turned around and pulled his wife close to kiss her. In that moment, just like many others he shared with Brianna, he realized that she was everything good in his life. He also thought of how close he had come to killing this amazing woman. But that was a long time ago, and he was no longer that same soulless assassin. "Now I'm ready," he said, slinging his bow and quiver over his shoulder. It wasn't that he expected trouble, he merely wanted to be able to bring home some meat if the opportunity presented itself. That was what he told himself, at least. In reality, he doubted that he would be able to take his attention away from Brianna long enough to do any hunting. QUOTE(Olen @ Jun 14 2008, 10:50 AM) Indor
The couple seemed unaware of him as he approached but when he got closer the dunmer looked up. The woman followed his gaze and also looked at Indor. The startling green of the woman’s eyes made him pause momentarily. He remembered himself just quickly enough and bowed deeply.
“My lord and lady,” he said, “I have a preposition which may be of interest to those such as yourselves on the council.” In truth he’d never seen to dunmer man before but it wouldn’t hurt to scrape a little. “I hope this is not too great an imposition?”
RannRann was slightly annoyed at the interruption, but his agitation turned to amusement when he heard himself addressed as 'lord'. "Though you may want to refer to her as Lady Dalrus, you can just call me Rann," he said, offering the dunmer a handshake, "And you are?"

She could feel Rahvin standing so close to her, that made her shiver a little. She took his hand. "So shall we?" she smiled and took a few dancing steps down the road. " If you like we could go to town first and have a look at the place? Or do you find it better to take the horses?"

IndorThe dunmer who had called himself Rann had a firm handshake. “My name is Indor Varyon, I am a travelling scholar and alchemist,” said Indor. He took a breath but continued before Rann could reply, “Currently I am studying some remarkable properties of Alyeid stones – I have my notes with me if you are interested – but my funds are becoming depleted so I am looking for sponsors, or any work nobles like yourselves may have to offer an academic such as myself.” He bowed again for good measure though the dunmer offering his first name had confused Indor, most unlike the higher echelons of society.

OOC: Issac and Satyana are in town right? Might as well meet up with them, I guess.
OOC: Yes they should be in town, just visited the Countess, so they might be in the old favourite establishment....Lokken Tavern and chatting with Ragnar!. So Satyana could tell them about her condition! Brianna"Ahh good" They were off. The walk into town didn't take long, and soon they reached the gates. The sun was really burning and Brianna had developed a slight headache. "Why don't we go for a drink ? This heat is killing me. Lokken would be good, our place is pretty near, we can have a drink before we go there" Brianna put her hand on her forehead, it really started to hurt now...

Brianna
She was in a joyful mood despite the terrible headache, Rahvin was joking with her and she liked that very much, he needed to have fun and he needed to show it....she smiled ; he was joking about her getting him drunk so he wouldn't object to buy the place she'd found.....well there was a bit of truth in that joke really....
"Ah I'll probably be ok, there's not much a nice brandy can't cure, but I've had a bit of headache lately, mostly in mid day....might be the heat or something"
She sighed and emptied her glass
"Well we could have another one of these....." she giggled "So you will se the beauty of the place I'd like to have!"
Saying this she burst out in laughter "Oh dear dear Rahvin, don't look so scared, it's not that bad"
But almost, there's a lot of work to do before we'll get it in order....Now that's one part of it, we will be able to do something together, some practical work...I'd love that sweetie

QUOTE(Olen @ Jun 23 2008, 07:04 PM) Indor
The dunmer who had called himself Rann had a firm handshake.
RannSince Rann doubted that his remaining twenty-four septims were what Indor was referring to when he spoke of research funds, he decided to be silent for now and let Dalrus answer. Just as she opened her mouth as if to speak, a young imperial messenger came running in their direction. "Archmage!" he yelled from a distance, "Lady Varus!" When he finally approached, he gave both Rann and Indor a strange look, as if wondering how they could ever belong in such company. He whispered something in Dalrus' ear, and her face put on a grim expression. She pulled Rann off to the side, and it was obvious that they were having a serious conversation. Dalrus and the messenger hurried away after that, leaving Rann and Indor alone. "Well, it looks like it's just me and you, now," he said, "Something came up over at the mages' guild. Some Telvanni Councilor or other decided to show up for a surprise visit and plans to stay a while." OOC: I'm tried to control Dalrus as little as possible, but I had to a little bit. At least I avoided actual dialogue. This post has been edited by Dantrag: Jun 27 2008, 06:44 PM

QUOTE(Olen @ Jun 29 2008, 01:25 PM) Indor
Indor watched the Imperial messenger hurried off with the archmage. “Telvanni,” he muttered under his breath, “Swits…” he stopped realising not everyone agreed and hoping he hadn’t been heard.
“Well sir… sorry, Rann… are you interested in any alchemical or academic services I may be able to offer.” Indor eyed Rann’s weapons, “I doubt you are a scholar of the ancients though I could be wrong.”
And who are you? he wandered, Cheap clothes but with the archmage.
Rann"I'm no scholar," he admitted, "But I do dabble," he added with a smirk. He had often considered doing his own research independent of Altair's, not because of any trust issue, but because he felt that the more brains that were working to figure out his "condition," the better. He wouldn't bring this up to Indor, though, at least not before he really knew this mer. Independent scholars such as this one, though, were often the best. Instead of gaining knowledge solely from books and scrolls and other experts, they had firsthand experience. "I can't pay you," he said, "But I'll work for you if you work for me in exchange."

QUOTE(Lord Revan @ Jul 3 2008, 12:56 AM) OCC: Sorry, I've been a little distracted of late, I'll move Issac and 'Tyana forward.
Issac, Chorrol
For awhile they just walked Chorrol's streets, greeting many of the townspeople they knew and alternately conversing as they walked. Issac hadn't been paying attention to the sky so it came as a surprise when the clouds above began raining.
Before he or Satyana could get soaked, he threw up a weak shield sphere to keep them dry. The rain began to pour, and Issac looked to Satyana. "So, where do you want to go now?"
Satyana" Ahhh it's pouring down! I'm totally wet, let's go to Lokken Tavern, it's just around the corner" Satyana took Issac's hand and dragged him along down the street. At the corner she turned and there it was! Lokken Ravern with its welcoming lantern outside Satyana and Issac hurried to the door and entered.... BriannaAfter she emptied her third Brandy she was very happy and content. Life was wonderful, she was sitting in a warm cozy Inn with the love of her life. She leaned her head against Rahvin's shoulder, closing her eyes and....was very happy. The smile on her lips said it all...
