I'm looking for short and non-short stories for a Morrowind mod I'm working on. Specifically, I'm looking for stories that cover one or more of the following:

The Imperial Legion
The Imperial Cult
Redguards (lore or stories about them).

I've already asked about using books from other games, but was told I can't use them so I'm turning to the community. Thanks in advance.

I have a story about Cyrus the Restless, based on a section of that cool comic for Redguard. Would that work?

Would a story about a Dark Brotherhood member terrorizing the Legion work? Meaning that they are killing random members, officers, ect.

That would be fine, thanks. My Redguard story was written for this mod in case anybody's curious as to what type of Redguard stories I was looking for.


That's a difficult one. These books are going to be in the personal collection of a former Imperial Legion officer, so I was leaning more towards stories about the Legion itself. If your story was about a Legionaire trying to catch the assassin, then that would work. I already have two stories about assassins that I put into the Morag Tong guildhall and wasn't really looking for more centered around them. Those are Easter Eggs in a way because they may or may not be seen by the player. The books I'm looking for will most likely be seen by the player because they'll be visiting the NPC who has them in his house for a quest or two. Send me your story and I'll take a look at it. If anything, I can always put it in that Daedra ruin that worships Sithis.

You might take at look at this story o' mine. I was pressing too much with the limits of competition for it to be a great story, but with minor editing I'd be willing to let you use it, if you'd like to.

Naturally, I would edit it myself. Minor stuff, like setting it before instead of after the MW storyline, perhaps a modest story tweak. Might lengthen it a mite, to more what it was before I edited it down for competition.

That would be fine then. If possible, I would like it before the Morrwoind story line, but as long as it doesn't mention the Oblivion gates or an actual year it takes place, then that shouldn't be a problem.

I've got one in the one-shot stories thread you can use if you'd like. It's a bit short, but it does have the Legion and a Redguard.
