Twleve, and 5 feet 5 inches. Still growing. Ahh, the pleasure of being taller than my 14 yr. old sister, my mom, and close to my dad. Hahahaha. LOL. Are Irish/French/German people supposed to be tall?

Personally, I'd rather be petite, 'cause I'm like, big-boned, and tall, so it can get kinda annoying. What's wrong with being short if ur a girl? Guy's, not so much. But girls? Nah, short is cool, even if you get to be the runt.

Especially if you're petite, you (duh) can't be big-boned. Seriously, who wants to be tripping over their size 11 feet? Really annoying. And since I'm ranting now, I might add that I have big hands, too, which makes it easy to break a pencil and hard to control one (which is part of the reason that my handwriting's so messy).

Although, I do note that every girl who is tall seems to want to be short (me included), and every boy who is short wants to be tall, and every girl who is short wants to be tall, and a couple of really-tall guys would rather be average height. Ah, well, the grass is always greener on the other side. Except when it isn't.

Hmm... I agree w/ Petra. I like being short. Or, rather, petite. Then, instead of looking down or up at people, you just go about your buisness and don't look at all . I'm 14, and 5 ft. It's not bad. Of course, soon, I'll hit my growth spurt and tower over people, and I'll probably say being tall isn't so bad either .

Ahh, fickle me.

I'm approaching 6' even (I'm halfway to 21 so my growth spurt has just about ended). I also have long fingers (about 1/2 inch longer than normal). Makes it a pain to find a decent pair of driving gloves, but does help when it comes to typing. That being said, I have horrible handwriting.

I'm not exactly "tall" but I'm not runty, either. I guess I've been blessed so far with my body deciding to grow upwards rather than outwards.

At 6' 4", I'm the tallest member of my entire family and something of an anomaly. All of the other adults in my family range in size from 4' 6" to 5' 8". My nephews (ages 2 and 4) keep calling me a giant.

Lol, I hope so. I had a friend who was the same height as you (he was 18 then) and suddenly at age 24 he just started growing again. By the time he was 29 he was 6'7"

I’m 5’7” in a family of tall men and short women, so I’m both short and tall, depending on who is judging. My brother and my cousin both grew 2 inches in college, those guys’ feet can really fill up a room. Good luck with the not growing, Wrothken!
