We had intended the coffee shop to be a nice place where people could talk about their daily activities and such, kinda like the Lurkers Lair on the Official Forums.
It didn't quite turn out that way though, people have been taking advantage of their freedoms in here, there has been a lot of spamming and even some flaming. We will not tolerate that any longer.
So unfortunately we've had to decide to increase the rules for this thread. Of course the normal forum rules still apply, but we'll elaborate here.:
1. No spamming.
We consider double posting and posting posts with only a few words to be spam. If you do that your post will be deleter or moved, do it too often and you might receive a warning for it.
We also consider chit-chat spam. This forum has a special chat channel for chatting, you're welcome to go there, and chat with other members or with the staff as we're always there, doing it in here is not allowed.

2. No discussion of accounts or warnings.
There shall be no more discussion about members, about accounts, about how many warnings you've gotten or anything like that.

No posting of random nonsense, no posting of irrelevant things, no posting the same thing over and over just to get it noticed, no swearing or flaming.
4. No religion or politics.
No discussion about religion or politics is to be had in these threads. If you want to discuss religion or politics, please do make another thread, or if another such thread already exists, please post in it.
If you have a question about the rules of the forums, feel free to ask it to either a Global Moderator or an Administrator.
If you're unsure if something is fit to post here, it might be. Again best to ask a Global Moderator or Administrator.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have missed that.

My husband gets up in the middle of the night sometimes and cooks and eats a full meal (like as if he didn't eat one at dinner time - like you starved him or something, but you know he ate like a horse at dinnertime).

Looks like gravy steaks, that is what is open in the fridge. (the steaks, he makes the gravy with the juices in the pan after the steak is done). Corn-on-the-cob - maybe a salad with it. That's my bet, any takers? ROFL !!!

I'm not going to bother with all the quotes, but the whole sleep/shower/cooking thing is hilarious. You all crack me up!

Lol, it's the truth! He is now working 2nd shift, so gets home after midnight. Watches his Tivo sports updates for a couple hours with some Buds, then eats around two platefulls of the meal I made for dinner (warmed). Goes to bed between 2-3 am - then gets up around 4. I hear the kitchen cupboards opening and closing, the microwave, etc. Get up, and there he is fixing himself another full plate of whatever - sits down and eats it in front of the Tivo.

That is only an hour or so after eating two full plates of dinner! Then at 6-7 he is up eating a big breakfast - like he didn't eat the equivalent of three dinners since midnight. Where does he put it all? I don't know, he never gains weight.

He was complaining that he never gets enough sleep - I told him I was going to fill one of those cement mixing trucks with food and just stick the hod in his mouth and crank it up so he wouldn't have to get up so many times to eat in the night to eat.

Too funny. Can we say "tapeworm"? What impressed me most though was that you knew what a hod is... I have worked construction all my life (well, until the last two years or so) and anytime I've used that word, people go, "Huh? A what?"

I'm going to pull on my veterinary hat and regard your husband as just another dog.

Uh oh, this doesn't sound good. All that food in a short period of time, constant hunger, and zero weight gain? 'tain't normal! I'm thinking a few medical conditions, all serious, that can cause this cluster of signs. Have you dragged your husband to the Dr. lately? Especially after the way you lost your ex.

Sorry to be such a downer, but I find such behavior/clinical signs to be unfunny after nineteen years of seeing pets too late for me to help.

Honey, that's what muzzles are for. It works long enough to get him anesthesized for neutering and a nice big slug of Valium. Only problem with valium, it makes him even hungrier! It's like pot that way.

He's very tall, and has quite large feet. I just figured all that food filtered down those long legs and couldn't get back up again, so settled into his feet.
