Adatoriel, Welcome! It is wonderful to finally meet you and I hope you'll drop by often! I'm so pleased that you are helping Daenlin. He is not getting any younger you know. I'm sure you will learn much from him - he is the best! Imp chips? Well, I'm not really sure what part of the imp they're made from, but they sure are yummy. Part of it depends on the context too. I mean, some folk say things like, "That's a load of imp chips!" implying that another meaning could be the droppings of imps I guess. I get mine from Nilawen's general store. She doesn't exactly know what part of the imps are used for the snack food either, but she assures me it's not their droppings!
Abiene, a warm welcome to you as well! With the tournament in progress, the shopping here in Bravil temporarily rivals that in the Imperial City! I have noticed several of the merchants that have set up tents here sell exotic perfumes. I must confess that I am reluctant to wear perfume. I fear it might conflict with the gentle citrus scent of the hair conditioner that Ardaline and I make. The tourney grounds are filled with wandering minstrels during the day; song and bonfires with dancing are common at night during the event. I'm sure also that there are numerous fancy parties hosted by the small number of wealthy folk who live in Bravil.
Milady Syl, this humble knight is so honored to have an elf of your title visit my simple but friendly tavern! I hope, given your lofty position, will not take offence when I say, it is simply a joy to speak with a lady of my own rather diminutive physical stature. His Lordship Thadon would be most welcome to stop in as well, hopefully coincident with a visit from you. That way your Ladyship could keep an eye on him - for security reasons only of course. Thank you for your well wishes regarding the tournament!
TK, how sweet of you! One can never have too many clothes. Or shoes. Or bits of jewelry. Or friends. Thank you!
Lissa, it's wonderful to hear from you! Good luck with your business. I was delighted to see that Aravi has a contract that you have accepted. By Mara! A party slumber party at your place! You're in Anvil, right? I'm sure Maelona will know exactly where. The tourney is keeping me very busy. I had hoped for a bit of a breather here in Bravil, but there is just so much going on! My dear Buffy--
I am quite thankful to be welcome in your tavern, and I am also glad to catch up with someone of my same small stature. We understand each other in ways others cannot--many have underestimated us because of our build. But many have also discovered the hard way that there resides within our small bodies great strength and the hearts of warriors.
Take care, Syl, Duchess of Dementia.QUOTE(Rihanae @ Apr 15 2011, 09:58 AM) QUOTE(King Coin @ Apr 15 2011, 03:39 PM) I'll go to the slumber party! I'm already in Anvil. Is there anything I should bring?
-Aravi
Bring wine! Lots and lots of wine!! Haha. The only thing I need you to bring is a bedroll. Im so thrilled you can make it!
By the way I need to find a Ring of Intelligence from some where. Does anyone know where can buy/find/make one?
LC X Lissa--
My sources tell me that you can enchant rings at the Arcane University. Otherwise, if you are in possession of a certain wizard's tower, there is an altar of enchantment there. If neither of these options work, I'm afraid I cannot help you any further.
I would come to your slumber party, if only it were not such a danger for me to sleep anywhere outside the House of Dementia. Surely you will not take offense, but will understand the necessity for me to avoid any sort of threat to my security.
Take care, Syl, Duchess of Dementia.

I asked someone the same thing, and they told me "If you need a Ring of Intelligence, how are you going to understand if I tell you?" Heidi

Dear Lissa,
Are you certain there are no boys allowed at your slumber party? As the Duke of Mania, I can assure you I am quite fun at slumber parties--especially slumber parties that involve wine and women. Hehehe...
I highly recommend you change your mind.
Sincerely, Thadon, Duke of Mania.

Dear Buffy,
Someone--but I can't say who--has informed me that you will be supplying Fellmoor wine at your tavern in Bravil? This is certainly most welcome news, and I would be glad to make my way to Bravil sometime for a visit. I am always eager to meet new people, except when I am not.
I also hear that Syl has been to your establishment? Have I heard correctly, or am I mistaken? I must admit, I am rather surprised that she would make her way to Bravil--she rarely ever leaves her side of the palace. However, I suppose if I were to run into her there, it would not be so bad. She and I have a rather complicated relationship, but I am able to at least tolerate her company. In fact, I can tolerate her company better than you might think. Of course, we're not talking about that...
Also, I'm not sure how you feel about it, but I would really be quite overjoyed if you would allow me to have some greenmote and felldew, and to share it with anyone at the tavern who is interested. I do hope you will at least consider my offer--you might enjoy it, in fact. It truly opens your mind to a world of new possibilities. Or is it a pasture? Well, at any rate, it has grass and possibilities. I can't imagine why anyone would ever turn it down. Of course, I can't imagine much of anything right now...
Well, I have to go. There is so much for me to do, I don't even know where to start. You know how it is. Or perhaps you don't.
Sincerely, Thadon, Duke of Mania.

Haha! That is pretty funny! But I do need a ring or something. Im trying to progress in conjuration. Or maybe a ring of magicka?
And dearest Thadon. Girls means girls, im sorry. Besides, my fiance wouldnt be too happy with a man sleeping over! Haha
By the way I am also looking to buy a new home. Somewhere smaller than my manor in anvil, but still quite homey. Either Bravil, IC, Lleyawin or Bruma.
Any suggestions? LC XThis post has been edited by Rihanae: Apr 16 2011, 06:52 PM

Dear Lissa,
I must admit, I am disappointed there are no boys allowed at your party, but I suppose I understand. No hard feelings. In fact, my feelings are rather soft and fluffy--which is definitely not hard.
When I think of hard things, I think of stones or bricks. But all those are any good for is building. And what use do I have for building? I already have a home, and I am quite cozy right here in the House of Mania.
So, I suppose it's best I stay here anyway, because there's no point in leaving such a cozy place, or is there?
Sincerely, Thadon.

Aww I am genuinly sorry for dissapointing you... but what can you do? a girls night in is a girls night in?
How are things in Mania? I gotta admit I havn't visited the isles yet (the freaky door kinda puts me off).
P.S did you mean 'cozy', or 'crazy'?

LC X Dear Lissa,
Mania is quite nice this time of year. You say you haven't been to the Isles yet? Well then, you simply must come for a visit. Once you get past the door, you will be blown away by the Realm of Madness. Unless, of course, it isn't windy. But that all depends on Sheogorath's disposition, as it is He who controls the weather in the Isles. It is a wondrous world, unless of course you get eaten by a scalon or something. Then it would just be wondrously awful. Avoid scalons, if you can.
If you should decide to visit the Isles, do drop by the House of Mania--after you see the Madgod, of course. I may have something you could help me with. A stolen item that is very precious to me. But we can discuss that in person, should you decide to come.
Sincerely, Thadon.

Dear Lissa--
If Thadon has approached you concerning a stolen item he would like you to retrieve for him, I would advise you not to do it. The item in question was taken from him for his own good, and it would be a great disservice to him and to me, should you decide to take him up on his offer (I have it on good authority that he has approached you on this subject, so there is no need to cover for him). I am certain it would be in everyone's best interest that the said item remain out of Thadon's hands. I do hope you will take my advice.
However, should you still decide to come to the Isles, I do have an issue with which I believe you could be of service to me. It is a matter of great importance, and if the Madgod approves of your aid in this matter, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you for considering my advice, as well as my offer. And, in case you need some convincing, perhaps you should also pay a visit to my torture chamber and speak to Herdir. You would be wise to side with me, or your visit to my torture chamber may not be the sort of visit you were hoping for.
Take care, Syl.

Take care, Syl. hey there Syl, I really don't think a visit to the isles is ideal for me at the moment. I've alot going on at the moment, including a business to run and im moving house.
If I do come to the isles soon i'll be sure to pay you a visit, and Thadon but, if im honest, the talk of torture had put me off going to the isles. Sorry

(A Note delivered by a balding man in a black suit, complete with a strange red neck-ruff. He introduces himself as Haskill, Lord Sheogorath's chamberlain.) Archeress Lissa,
I hear that my little Syl threatened to torture you. I would advise you to ignore her--the Duchess' bark is often worse than her bite. Not always, but with you I'm pretty sure it was not a serious threat.
Too bad that you don't want to pay a visit to my Realm; but you are not mad, so I doubt you would really like it here anyway. Plus, my Gatekeeper would never let you get past the Fringe, so it's probably a good idea to stay in Tamriel.
And I promise you that, from now on, I will make sure Syl and Thadon stop bothering you with their problems. I already have someone on the way to take care of the matter--it's just the result of a lover's quarrel, and it is really between the two of them, and myself. If they try to bother you again, just let me know by whatever means you can think, and I'll handle them for you.

Oh my days! Its not everyday I have a daedric prince write to me! Its an honor... or is it a concern? :/
Anyway, thank you for you words about Syl and Thadon. They wern't bothering me, it's nice to have penpals... even if they are slightly mad!
Um... What is a Gatekeeper? A type of guard?

Of course, a letter from the Madgod could also be a concern, depending on how you look at it. Thomas did a very good job responding to your question--I'd say he's probably half-baked himself! Oh, and Thomas, it's not just a sweetroll you have to worry about with the Madgod. There's an even greater concern if he sends you waffles and maple syrup. Of course, you aren't aware of that little episode yet, and won't be for quite some time. Let me just say, it's very...interesting. I resent your accusations! The only things baked around here are my extra-special brownies! Erm... *flees*
