Now that's who Trey reminded me of! The cool English professor in college who taught Shakespeare and threw on a Shakespearean comedy every November (right before Thanksgiving break). I wanted to take his class, but unfortunately it was full by the time I got there to register. Still I enjoyed the plays - they were more fun than Thanksgiving Day! RIP Steven Lacey! cool.gif

Trey, you look pretty cool! I like your English Professor personae--that's definitely the look that comes to mind. In a way, you remind me of one of my favorite teachers from high school, actually! laugh.gif

Well- what with a birthday just past, it is probably time to update my picture... Those with weak constitutions are warned....

And yes, as a matter of fact, I DID get that shirt for my birthday. Why do you ask?

Birthday shirt FTW!! And a nice verdant backdrop to showcase it. smile.gif

Interesting story about the background.... The maple tree directly behind me is the one 15 feet from our front door that died back. So early in the spring, I was up on a ladder with ropes and saws, cutting off the two sides of the main fork. And trying desperately to not hit the house, the car, the ladder- or myself. Since I am still writing (and posting) long-winded explanations- SUCCESS!

Now we plan to cut it down just a little further and place our "See Rock City" birdhouse on top.

My last teaching foray was Early American Lit.- but I think the students enjoyed my readings of the Anne Bradstreet and Charles Brockden Brown. We also watched 1776 (the musical) on DVD. I have been known to run Othello past my freshmen students- the school had the version that stared Anthony Hopkins.

ROFL !!! Is it shaped like a red barn and the white letters are across the roof of the Bird House? I always picture helicopter pilots being distracted from watching where they are going by trying to read the tiny letters on top of the bird houses, ROFL !!!!

Nice gun. I've got tons of them myself and really enjoy the shooting sport. I understand that some or many of the users here are from countries that do not allow firearms ownership and often think I'm crazy for owning 25 firearms but the mechanics are something that I enjoy.

For me they are not only a weapon but each one a unique design that is incredibly interesting.

Normally, I am against posting pictures of myself. I am extremely paranoid and I simply cannot be known as a fanfiction writer, an Rper and a forum-user. Such revelations would destroy me! But, I guess I can make an exception just this once.

Edited.

Nope, that's a dragon if I ever saw one.

Anyway, here is a picture of me with a toucan on my shoulder. And looking, as a seventeen-year-old (it was taken about a year ago), about seventeen years old. Why the toucan? Because I'm awesome, that's why. And yes, before you say it, I know how incredibly handsome I am. But thank you in any case. You are aesthetically acceptable. tongue.gif

Yeah, but it looks like Myspace messed up the link. Seems like when they did one of their stupid updates they reversed the order of the albums so every single link was broken. Idiot Tom! URK ! I'll have to re-upload the pic to Photobucket and fix the link (since I can't remember my Myspace email or password it has been so long since I've been on it, lol. )
