QUOTE(Destri Melarg @ Jun 27 2011, 06:20 PM) Once again, this is another ‘I’m back’ post. Life has slipped an inordinate number of Jeffreys into Destri’s world this year. I’ve worn the Furry Walls in my house to a nub. It will take me awhile to get re-caught up with everyone’s stories (and my apologies to TK and TheOtherRick for never even commenting on yours), but I will get there. I will also get back to updating Interregnum as soon as I can. Sorry for leaving you all for so long. WOO HOO! Destri and Interregnum !!!

Am listening to "Furry Walls" right now. Ah how I love Infant Sorrow.
Sorry about the Jeffreys, Destri. You're not the only one. I, unfortunately, have had little time to read and comment, thereby defaulting to lurking and reading snippets when possible. Hopefully, though, the end of July will see the review process done and me with a cushy new Energy Sector job. Hopefully.

Thanks for the congratulations everyone. Yesterday I received the acceptance to the school I want to attend, so I'm happy^^. I've been really lazy with writing lately, but we're headed for Norway on either Monday or Tuesday so I hope it will give me the inspiration to continue.
One thing I love about the school system is how the gymnasium begins much later than the mandatory school though.
Welcome back Destri!

Writing this from my freshly reconstructed PC. Yup, I've just finished connecting her to the Internet. It's good to be back online.

Congrats TK, I hope it runs smoothly. A new computer is always a fun thing to have. But then they become old computers... And yes irn bru isn't availible in most countries (due to several of the chemicals in it being poisonous, carcinogenic or making children bounce off walls). Apparently the Russian version is more or less identical to the real stuff, which makes sense seeing as it serves the varied purposes of refreshment, utterly masking the flavour of added alcohol and hangover cure. Anyway anything that orange must be healthy... If you're ever in Scotland it's worth a try, though a bit like the deep dried marsbar/pizza/pie it's not going to mark Scotland on the map for food (now heart disease on the other hand...) Frankly it always amazes me how every country has some food which it's massively proud of despite anyone who didn't grow up with it hating it.

I've had this computer for about two and a half years and I've managed to keep it in pretty good shape. The only bad thing is the hardware. It can run most games available but not anywhere near as smooth as I'd like it to do. It will certainly not be able to run Skyrim or Battlefield 3. I've been thinking of getting a new one but I'm not going to bother. 1000+ dollars for a computer only to be able to run 3-4 games? Nah, I'll just get them for the 360 instead. And on the bright side, if I would get Skyrim for the PC I'd probably cheat like hell.
