I'm back indoors and enjoying catching up here. Hopefully I will be interrupted soon by the air conditioner fixing guy.

I got my first year results back! Passed everything, got two 2:1s and three 2:2s, which is pretty good I think. I got only about 42% in one module but it's still a pass, and I did end up writing about giant sharks in the exam...Looking forward to getting that exam back.

Today I decided to climb bennachie, to the Mither Tap. My feet hurt like hell but it was worth it! Sadly, when I got to the top I realised I'd forgotten my camera. Sorry, no pictures!!!

Ahrenil - good stuff with the results, its always a releif not to be waiting for them. And random objects in exams are always good, it wakes the markers up.

I'm getting to know the town I'm living in for the summer now. It's an interesting place, certainly not Edinburgh but not that bad, just a bit like being back in time. Though after a night out I've concluded that there must be something in the water here which causes insanity among a portion of the inhabitants.

Back from a road trip to Hershey, PA. The upstairs air conditioning is now not working. That’s the one that the guy didn’t fix before we left because that one was working. Argh.
