OK, for those of you who don't know:

Grifball is a gametype for HALO.

You can make an official team for it by following the steps in the video link at the bottom.

This thread is for people who want to join a team, request a match or brag about stuff.

So, to start us off:

I just started up a team: Shoes of Hammer Jumpin'! I've invited a few friends who are avid Halo players, so I hope this teams gonna be good. Yay Me!

I've heard of Grifball but haven't actually played it. I have however played baseball in Halo with the grav hammer and a rocket launcher.

Is this in any way related to calvinball?

Nah I think Grifball is less random than Calvinball. I could be wrong though...

I never really played grifball, but I like the in-joke.

or, a brief game rules summary:

• There are two teams, Red and Blue
  
• There are 4 players in a team
  
• The goal is to grab the bomb, or "Grifball" and plant it at the opposing teams bomb point
  
• The Grifball then explodes, killing all nearby players and ending the round
  
• The bomb carrier, or "Grif" is slightly faster and can kill other players in one hit
  
• Normal players are equipped with gravity hammers and energy swords
  
• The first team to gain 5 plants wins the game

Small correction. It's best of 5 rounds so that would be first team to plant 3 bombs.
