QUOTE(Acadian @ Jul 28 2011, 07:47 AM) QUOTE(Grits @ Jul 28 2011, 04:18 AM) Oh my gosh, I went back and read the Bobo poem – no wonder the little guy sleeps so much, he's tired!! Now I have the image of him sneaking out of his little tea box house in a Blue Team raiment for his nightly tussle… If Bobo the Bloodletter ever does get his own fanfic, I can provide some photos, Acadian! Bobo happy! Do whatever little Captain say. Bobo and the Captain: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http:/...ved=0CEEQ9QEwBwWow, Bobo is certainly more manly than I pictured him! I pictured him something more like ... this: *

QUOTE(Grits @ Jul 28 2011, 12:24 PM) OMG, Bobo and the Captain!! I just hurt myself laughing. mALX, WHAT is going on with that tail??!! I think I remember that picture… but not the story of Maxical’s naughty tail!! The Captain awoke this noon (against his will) with a hankering for sunflower seeds. Or so his miniature giant space hamster brain wave seems to be telling me. ROFL !!!! I see some of us have our minds in the same place as Gils's and Andronicus's !!! ROFL !!!! At least you DID recognize that it was her tail, both Gils and Andronicus thought it was her hand, lol. Maxical bet Owyn she could make Gils draw her a picture to take to Andronicus in jail. She did it by drawing the (above) and asking him to sign it for Andronicus, lol. Pretty early on in the story, way too far back for memories of the event, lol. I found out over at the BGSF when I wrote Maxical's first adventures that - in five chapters someone can forget a glass jar filled with yellow liquid is "Nord Whiskey" and assume it is Maxical's pee that Manheim somehow extracted from her greaves and put in a jar - which he then gave to Owyn ... as a gift ... to drink, .... ... ... SPEW !!!!! I still roll every time I remember that !!!!! PS: By the way, the above is the full extent of my drawing capabilities, lol. * This post has been edited by mALX: Jul 29 2011, 08:28 PM

QUOTE(haute ecole rider @ Aug 6 2011, 11:45 PM) Indra looks so beautiful in these shots, but doesn't she seem a little tired? That last picture was a little funny - the look on her face is priceless!
Did she do well again? Not embarrass her mom?
Indra did well, she got her second certificate, one more and she will be National Premier! My little princess is kinda lazy, she just loves her new cage dressing, especially the padded one in the bottom, it's made by a friend of mine and Indra loved it from the moment I got it and laid it on the floor for her to examine it. She immediately curled up on it! Then it is also a bit fuzzy and noisy at a cat show, lots of ppl looking at the cats, grooming and preparing for the judging and so on. Now Indra is very calm and tolerant, she likes the cage, she feels safe in it. The last pic is from the actual judging, the lady-judge is holding her under her arms, very thoroughly describing her for the audience, her tail, the quality of her fur, her body, face eyes ears...everything is ranked by points. Maximum is 100 and if you get over 95 you get a certificate!. Indra got very high ranked for her good temper, you know you can actually do whatever you want with that kitty, if she feels safe with you! Besides she is particularly fond of men! My son (Bolzmania on Chorrol) is her big love, the breeders husband is another one... Next show will be in october, then we pause until spring!

Say hello to Curry! He's approximately three weeks old now, which means that he's still dependent on his parents, but I can still take him out sometims. He's so curious, and not afraid of me at all! He's perfectly content lying on my stomach looking around most of the time, but today he started climbing along my arms. He's so cute! He's a splendid parakeet, one of four children that my dad's birds are raising at the moment.

They were unbelievably smart! http://www.budgerigarsociety.com/images/ga...mg/fs/151-3.jpg(example of English, not one of mine) This post has been edited by mALX: Feb 4 2012, 03:25 AM

This is Azalea She's a splendid parakeet that's blue with a white chest, and hopefully she and Curry will get along when I move them into the same cage. I bought both her and a large cage last week, and as soon as I get her a bit tame I'll have them move into the new cage. It's about time that Curry got a friend/future mate. QUOTE(mALX @ Dec 8 2012, 04:22 AM) QUOTE(King Of Beasts @ Dec 7 2012, 12:55 PM) How cute is that! I have terrible luck with fish, lol. Thanks! At least it's fish, I'm not good with hamsters. Jaws is the biggest goldfish I've ever come across, so sometimes I'm worried he'll take off my finger when I'm trying to feed him. He's always knocking down the tank decorations and he shovels piles if little rocks in his mouth, sort if sucks on them, then spits 'em right back out. He looked pretty big, but I didn't know if that was a zoomed lens on the fish or actual size, lol. This post has been edited by mALX: Dec 8 2012, 01:38 PM
