QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 3 2012, 05:55 PM) Good to know, Fawkes, thank you!! I’m trying to figure out where in Jorrvaskr is safe to store stuff. Decisions, decisions. Allek is travelling with Marcurio right now. I love his snarky comments. ETA: I know who Godfrey reminds me of, Falk Firebeard! He looks great! Haha, I just noticed he does look like Falk xD, Also love Marcurio's comments ^^ Not sure about a safe place in Jorrvaskr, there are mixed opinions around the net' Also I believe than if you move in with someone, things still respawn inside it, I'm still testing it within Balimund's house though. My suggestion? Do the test, empty every container from Jorrvaskr then wait 30 days outside of the building I could do it for you if you want though, I have allot of free time This post has been edited by Fawkes: Jan 4 2012, 01:43 AM

I tested the Jorrvaskr Harbinger quarters, and all but the barrel and chest in the bedroom are safe. That means the chest on top of the wardrobe respawns. Yeah, the place where you’d put all of your treasure. Argh! Also in the whelp quarters the wardrobe and dresser are safe, as well as the furniture in the main hall. Not the barrels or sacks. I don’t know if any fellow Companions will take anything, but it seems that living there if you marry a Companion (see, I finally got to the point) would be feasible. I didn’t check any of the owned containers. On the subject of courtship: I don’t know if it’s the beast blood or a bug, but Jensa has had her wild heart broken. Here’s what happened: I went through Rorikstead today, instead of going around like usual. I don’t know what possessed me to put on my Amulet of Mara. Well I do, but it hurts to admit it.
Sure enough, there was Erik right in the middle of town, keeping one eye on the sky and the other on the hills. He lit right up with that smile when he saw me.
“Good to see you, friend!” he calls out. “You’re keeping well, I hope.”
We chat for a moment, and he tells me how they’ve had less trouble now that a few of Rorikstead’s sons and daughters stand armed and ready in the street. I say it looks like his axe is good and sharp, and he gives a whistle when he checks out my Skyforged blade. Then I say farewell and hit the road before the tears start falling.
Dammit. If he didn’t want me before, he sure won’t want me now. I could do worse than having a man like him call me friend. I’d better not go through Rorikstead again. Friend is how I’d like him to remember me.

It's a bug, a very bad bug. You can only fix it if you're on the PC, us console owners will have to wait for Beth to fix it :/

So as for my poor Cushla... I'm feeling particularly crushed... I spent my days and nights with the companions and decided after purifying Farkas and Vilkas that Vilkas was the one who really held away over my heart. I purified myself... I asked Vilkas to follow me to now beautiful and flourishing Gildergreen that we healed together... I donned the amulet of Mara and spoke with him... He romantically proposed and I agree it would be he and I together until the nine divines would take us... Take my time and arrange the wedding he urged and we parted ways... I couldn't wait and left for Riften and within a day we were wed... He suggested his place but I thought we would do well to occupy Breezeholm... We left to activate the Warriors stone nearby and return home after fending off a dragon attack.... Arrive home... Lydia is in our room... I try to rest with him and there is no love... No lovers comfort... What did I do wrong?? Sighs... Perhaps Vilkas and I were not meant to be... *sobs*

URK !!! There could be one of two glitches affecting the marriage. The first: There have been some issues with going straight to your home. Change that by going to his home (or bed) and spend the night. After spending the night there, then move to Breezehome again. Spend the night and see if it has fixed the bug. If that doesn't fix it, there is another bug - sometimes the effects of the werewolf in blocking Lovers Comfort are unfortunately permanent until a patch fixes the issue.

You are brilliant and my Cushla is rejoicing in the comfort of her Lover's Embrace!! Ah if only I could stay there until eternity!!! We made amends and moved to his home.... Granted I could not stay in his bed but apparently he stayed in mine?!!?

I married Malborn. I had to use console commands to make the marriage option available with him. Here's the pics of our wedding... at the altar after the ceremony leaving the temple of Mara together Unfortunately he never moved into my house in Whiterun, he just stayed at the tavern in Windhelm. But he does say all the cute marriage lines like "Hello my love. Back from some adventure?" and gives home-cooked meals and a store profit. I tried to make him a follower too with console commands, but it didn't work.
