These places get destroyed awful fast by you rowdy people... QUOTE(minque) This is meant to be a place where you can talk about anything without having to stay on topic. Feel free to ask questions, to talk about the things in your life you like to share with your fellow-members. Or just step inside for a while, have a coffe and a good chat! You may feel free to post whatever you like as long as it is within the rules of the forum. But if the conversation degrades to spam, you will be treated as though you are spamming anywhere else on the forum. This is a thread where you can relax and talk about personal things, but it is not to be used as an excuse to make pointless posts. Please help to keep this alive and well and a place where we can meet and share. Enjoy your stay here!!!
QUOTE(Alexander) We had intended the coffee shop to be a nice place where people could talk about their daily activities and such, kinda like the Lurkers Lair on the Official Forums. It didn't quite turn out that way though, people have been taking advantage of their freedoms in here, there has been a lot of spamming and even some flaming. We will not tolerate that any longer. So unfortunately we've had to decide to increase the rules for this thread. Of course the normal forum rules still apply, but we'll elaborate here.: 1. No spamming. We consider double posting and posting posts with only a few words to be spam. If you do that your post will be deleter or moved, do it too often and you might receive a warning for it. We also consider chit-chat spam. This forum has a special chat channel for chatting, you're welcome to go there, and chat with other members or with the staff as we're always there, doing it in here is not allowed. The address to that chatroom is: W4O chat And for assistence to use a chat like this, I recommend looking over this thread: http://chorrol.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=248Or contacting one of the Administrators. 2. No discussion of accounts or warnings. There shall be no more discussion about members, about accounts, about how many warnings you've gotten or anything like that. 3. No trolling. No posting of random nonsense, no posting of irrelevant things, no posting the same thing over and over just to get it noticed, no swearing or flaming. 4. No religion or politics. No discussion about religion or politics is to be had in these threads. If you want to discuss religion or politics, please do make another thread, or if another such thread already exists, please post in it. If you have a question about the rules of the forums, feel free to ask it to either a Global Moderator or an Administrator. If you're unsure if something is fit to post here, it might be. Again best to ask a Global Moderator or Administrator. If you're wondering how we think a Lair or the Coffee Shop should look like, what we do allow, then I recommend taking a look at the Lurkers Lair at the Official Forums.

McBadgere: If it makes you feel any better, having just come out of my teenage years as a mature, intelligent, extremely attractive young man who's modest to the point it almost being self-depricating (yeah right! ), all I'll say is that eventually she'll feel like the biggest idiot in the entire affair. In the meantime, all I'll say is put up with it, give her a bit of give as she gets older, and generally you'll look back on it all and laugh. Also, in other news, I finished writing a story that's taken me just over eighteen months to complete and is a touch under 300,000 words. I both feel somewhat lost and somewhat awestruck by it all...

I'm glad that I don't have kids o.O. But yea...sometimes kids, well tend to act/say something without thinking, blame the burst of hormones really. I can't really put it better than what mALX said Also congrats Arcry!

Thanks for that bit of heartening advice from such a modest young man, we truly appreciate your profound words. My 10 year old appreciated it very much.....hahahahaha Yes, Fawkes, I agree, mALX put it much more diplomatically than I, she is such an artist with words that one....

ROFL at the first paragraph - and a huge CONGRATS on the second !!! That is awesome news !! That "somewhat lost" sensation is that you had a goal and now it is ended. The tremendous drive that pushed you on to finish that story now has no where to go. The secret is to set another goal and give all that energy and purpose another focus and direction. Congrats again, Wonderful News !!

Cheers all... Glad to know I'm not the first to go through this... ... Sadly, I kinda made light of what was said...Y'know that part of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves where Alan Rickman says that he'll cut his heart out with a spoon... When she sits there and writes everything out, making sure to change colours when appropriate...*Shrug*... I shall endeavour not to take it personally...But right now... Mega congrats Mustard...*Applauds*...

Mega congrats Mustard...*Applauds*... GAAAAAH!!! Alan Rickman ... I wish they had made him the new Dr. Who !!!! Yeah, I had to apologize to my children a few times for not "getting it" when they were being serious. I had something wise to add, but then someone said Alan Rickman. (Color won't work? Pretend that's in pink.) That’s tremendous, Colonel!! Tonight in Grits world is one of those nights that’s pouring down rain but feels cold enough to be an ice storm. I finally found the Christmas tree Peeps and Terry's chocolate oranges that Santa was supposed to put in the stockings, so we are having a chocolate feast and watching Farscape. I just witnessed The Girl dipping her chocolate-covered marshmallow into her cocoa. That kid knows how to live.

Um, Trey, would the "girls" you are speaking of happen to include anyone I KNOW???? If he won't tell you I will, I was probably the one at the TOP of the list on that one. ***NOTE*** He knows what he's talking about, just take my word for it.

I haven't seen it in two years and still have dreams, lol. His Pride and Prejudice is my absolute fave of all time - and he actually takes his shirt off when he swims in the pond in it, too !!! Ohhh Colin Firth is very sexy, I believe i first saw him in...er I think it was Pride and prejudice, watched it in one of my high school classes, It took around a whole week to finish the movie! Hehe... but I alas I must admit I have had a tiny crush on Harrison Ford ever since I was a kid , sure as a kid I will watch all these action movies and what not, but I watched them for the hot actors I been playing Persona 3 Portable since forever now, and yes the sad parts still make me teary eyed, and I hate doing the Sun Social link...urgh it gets me depressed then the little music that they put. They still don't put what books I'm going to need, but I'm cringing at what their prices are going to be
