@mALX: There’s quite a variety of favorites here. Of the ones I took, I expected that one the least! Thanks mALX! @Acadian: I very much liked that first dragon shot. That one has to be my favorite of the bunch. The fiery language is my second! Thanks Acadian! @SubRosa: The Thalmor guy from the College got in on that dragon fight as well as the guards. That is probably the best Shout screen I have taken so far, they are difficult to get. Thanks SubRosa! @Grits: The first dragon screen is my favorite as well. The bright flames from the dragon and the darkness of the night made the lighting very cool. Poor Kharjo’s in the middle of the heat though! Thanks Grits! ################################# Aravi and Kharjo destroy the necromancer and the rest of his creations.8:22

I see Kharjo is still doing the two-fisted staves. Oops, the trap got Aravi. Still, it was kind of funny how Kharjo stood there staring at her afterward. I can just imagine the thought balloon over his head "What were you thinking?" Whew, that bane of the undead scroll was a good lead! I am surprised no one noticed her using it. Usually whenever I cast a spell, the people in the next room are suddenly aware of me. Well, that is one more Daedra out of the way. She sure is one of the pushiest ones.

That corrupted shade lit up by the ice storm was creepy, right next to Aravi! I didn’t know it was so close. Aravi was such a Khajiit with that trap. She looked at the bottle, looked at the pedestal. Hmm, it’s probably a trap. Took the bottle anyway. I could imagine Kharjo thinking, are you okay, and also, are you serious?! Hey, she saved him the embarrassment (and pain) of getting jabbed! Meridia wasn’t too concerned about the shades that were still fighting while she was giving her orders! Oh no, Aravi got swooped away and Kharjo had to wait in the temple!! Now whenever Aravi looks at the moon, I wonder if she feels the beast blood calling like Vilkas does. She seemed happy to be back with Kharjo at the end.

@SubRosa: He loves those staves. His liberal use of them makes keeping them charged difficult though as Acadian mentioned a little while ago. What was she thinking? She smelled a trap, but it was well hidden. She moved back away from the pedestal right away so she only was poked instead of impaled. I love using those scrolls. They are much more useful than they were in Oblivion. Thanks SubRosa! @mALX: He waited in the hall until the fighting started, but once the fighting started, there’s nothing that is going to keep a follower out of the fight short of disabling their AI. I like it that way too, Kharjo wouldn’t just stand there while Aravi was attacked would he? He did wait after the combat was over though, Aravi went back for him. I cut out the looting just because I don’t think it is relevant to the story such that it is. If I find something really cool though, I make sure I show it. Thanks mALX! Just a note, that chamber gets locked after the quest is done. I had to use the console to get the door open so Aravi could reach Kharjo. @Acadian: I kept it dark some of the times to keep the spooky atmosphere. I liked seeing the glowing red eyes in the darkness. Of course, Meridia hoisted poor Aravi into the air again. Aravi was bolder this time around too. At least she got a very useful blade out of the ordeal. Aravi was hoisted, but Meridia left Kharjo where he was! Thanks Acadian! @Grits: The darkness wasn’t the best for showing what was happening, but it sure was fun to play with little lighting. I’m glad you liked the trap! Aravi was weary of a trap, but was still surprised when those spears came out of the moss and poked her. It is very good that she stepped back when she did. Funny that you mention the beast blood, she has felt the need to let it out. Thanks Grits! #################### Aravi and Kharjo return to Vile’s shrine with the axe.5:00 They return to Whiterun and Aravi leaves Kharjo at home so she can do some hunting on her own. 5:55

That started out as quiet, relaxing time by the water. But then things took a turn with that sound of that dragon! I guess Aravi and Kharjo must have slipped away unnoticed. You know, of all the characters of mine who have been shanghaied into doing this quest, not one has ever wanted that stupid axe. Or that ugly helmet either. I have been thinking, and it occurred to me that in the other games you had to actually go to the Daedric Shrines and initiate a conversation with the Daedra to start their quest. In Skyrim they are forced upon you, without you wanting any part of them. That second vid looks like Halted Stream Camp. That is a fun place to ransack, especially because of that oil down in the last room. One arrow to the lamp overhead and Boom! Time for the Breast Form again. Whoa! they really go flying when Aravi lays into them! Nerussa would not approve of Aravi's table manners... She couldn't open the door inside the mine? Interesting. I never imagined that. I was wondering if she would have to pick the lock as a werewolf? So do I gather correctly that when in wolf form, you cannot loot the bodies of people? Or pick anything up? Ahhh, clever going in through the pit. Dangerous too, it is not easy getting down there without being skewered on this spikes! "Looks like we go ourselves a hero."Did that guy not notice that they had themselves a werewolf! Uh oh, now she cannot get out! She will have to go back to cat form to open that door. What a beautiful spot to stop and warm up. I love the cloudy skies.
That’s an uneasy moment when Vile essentially says thanks for being too nice to murder the dog, now I’m powerful again and FREEE!! It made Jensa kick herself for not doing what she thought was the bad thing, which seems about how a mortal would feel after a deal with Vile.
That was an awesome werewolf rampage! This has to be one of my favorites of your videos. I wondered how she was going to get through that gate. The wolf solution was very scary, as I know how much damage those spikes can do! That’s such a good place to go for a transformation, since Aravi won’t have to worry who gets eaten. It seemed in this video that the werewolf was less Aravi in beast form and more a beast that had taken her over, if that makes sense. Wow, that was one pissed-off wolf when it figured out it was trapped!
Ugh, waking up sick and alone surrounded by the evidence. Well, at least she knows where she is. And who she has eaten. I love the werewolf video! It really showed the situation that she is in. On the one hand is this pure killing machine of reckless, dreadful awesome, but on the other hand it lives inside kind, careful Aravi. Great video, KC!!

@SubRosa: Yep, they were able to slip away from that dragon. Aravi wasn’t interested in the ax just because it’s a two handed weapon. If it were a sword she might have thought about it, but she wouldn’t have killed Barbas. I literally laughed at the mention of Nerussa! Werewolves cannot pick locks or loot anything. The inventory is inaccessible in that form. Yep the beast got herself trapped; it actually contained the frenzy nicely. Thanks SubRosa! @Acadian: Finally done with Vile and his dog. Werewolves are very strong. They take damage poorly but with overwhelming force and speed they can take just about anything. Yeah Aravi is always sick after a transformation. Thanks Acadian! @mALX: I totally agree with you on the voices. Barbas’ voice fits the scruffy dog, but Vile’s voice? Noooooo! If Aravi comes to dine in her beast form, you better run, hide, do whatever you can to get away! She was still in the mine when she woke up, she couldn’t get out as a beast. There was nothing left alive in there, she was safe. Thanks mALX! @Grits: Aravi was very uncomfortable about that whole interaction with Vile. She was expecting something bad. It seems like Barbas is a moderating influence on him. Hopefully. You nailed it! Aravi isn’t in control in a transformation, the beast is. She certainly didn’t want to eat anyone, but the beast was more than happy to. Waking up from a transformation is one of the most unpleasant experiences Aravi has had. Even though I can’t show it, she throws up everything the beast eats. Thanks Grits! ################################ Screens! The Ancient Nord Hero armor looks good on Aravi. She would match with Aela. I am still kind of undecided on how Skyrim glass looks. It is definitely much better than in Oblivion though! Barbarian armor? It looks like she is wearing her underwear! Well, I suppose that is armor to most barbarians. The first rogue mage killing pic looked neatest, with the wider view. Have you ever noticed that the only difference between being the Dragonborn and being the Dagonborn is one letter? That was definitely a good pic, taken in mid quickening.

I second the Ancient Nord armor. It’s one of my favorites, and I think it suits her. Jensa found hers in a cave somewhere, quest-related. It was kind of a trophy for her. Of course, Aravi may feel differently about her connection with the Companions, specifically with Aela. I’ve never had a character who wore the glass, but maybe someday. I think it would work for a Redguard warrior. It’s very pretty when it catches the light. I like Aravi’s barbarian bikini. It gives her free range of motion. Plus it reminds me of her Cyrodiil look. Oh, I love fighting dragons in the dark! It’s scarier. Plus the soul looks awesome, like in Aravi’s picture.

@SubRosa: Maybe she’ll wear the ancient nord armor for a while then. It’ll make the time I took to make a light version of it in the CK worth it. I don’t care for the top very much though. I like the glass armor, but I don’t know if it is for Aravi. When you mentioned Dagon I thought I had a typo! Not on that link but another. Thanks SubRosa! @mALX: She blinked in that screen! I almost went back into the game to retake it. Thanks mALX! @Grits: I had to make a light armor version of the ancient nord, so I just dumped it in a barrel outside of Breezehome. I need to see if Aravi can smith it at all because it’s very weak compared to all of her other armors, including fur. Thanks Grits! @Acadian: Another fan of ancient nord. She’ll have to use it a little bit then. I’m not a fan of the top but I can deal. She can switch between the barbarian and the ancient nord then. Thanks Acadian! ######################### Aela has a special task for Aravi when she returns to the Companions.10:15
