Whoa, what happened to Esbern's voice when he was telling Aravi to go to the College of Winterhold? Was that the voice fix that I remember floating around when the game was first released, because of a bug with his voice files that made the main quest impossible to finish? Blind Cliff Bastion. It sounded like Aravi was hocking up a giant spit when she used that aura shout! Petra and Melka. I can understand Aravi shaking her head. She sounds like she is looking for her... precious... Still, she can be handy in a fight. She shoved her sword right up that Forsworn's butt! There is Petra. A little Frenzying never hurt no one. Except that forsworn that Petra killed... Uh oh, here come the fireballs. How did she get down on the ground level? Well, no matter, Aravi made short work of her once she got those twin blades out, as always.

That scene up on the mountain after talking with Esbern was epic. The music sounded the wonderful music from Oblivion! Gollum (from ‘The Hobbit’)! “Prittie! Let me out kind, kind meat!” The ole headshake was just the right answer methinks! I’m so glad Aravi can see her world as pink glows now! I was so sure the curious cat would activate that third handle in the row of three, even after the door was opened. I was wrong! I bet she was out magic-gunned by that Petra. Aravi was really wise to not try and trade spells, opting for what she’s best at. Steel to flesh FTW! Another wonderful KC production!

That was a beautiful day at Sky Haven Temple. I love how the mountains look with the mist. It was neat to hear Esbern talking about his dream. Ugh, Hagravens. Melka didn’t do a very good sales job, calling Aravi “flesh” and “meat.” Oh, Petra jumped down and went after Kharjo! I couldn’t tell, was that a decapitation?! It made me think of what Vilja used to say, “You leave my friend alone!” Aravi charged in like Savlian! Aravi's versatility was really on display here. Figuring out the traps, stealth, Calm, a little well-timed Frenzy, archery, and then two blades for the finish. Yay!

@mALX: Aravi wasn’t comfortable with letting someone that was safely locked in a cage out when they were referring to her as ‘flesh’ and ‘meat.’ The Khajiit night eye isn’t perfect, there are times where it is too bright to use and almost too dark to not use. Thanks mALX! @SubRosa: I don’t know why his voice was different, but it didn’t break any quests. Aravi didn’t trust the hargraven. Better to leave her in the cage than to have two hargravens to worry about. Withdrawing the sword I must admit did look pretty awkward… I think that was meant to be in the lower back, but Aravi is smaller than a normal Khajiit. Her hands clip into tables and such when she’s using furniture. I was rather proud of Aravi’s quick work on the final hargraven. Thanks SubRosa! @Acadian: I love that scene too! She was up there quite a while after she talked to Esbern, it was so peaceful. If you want someone to help you, don’t make them feel like food! Aravi already knew what that third lever did, so no need to pull it. I think even trying to trade arrows with Petra would have ended poorly, and Aravi quickly closed in to do what she does best. Thanks Acadian! @Grits: I think Aravi would like to join them up on that mountain. The area is just beautiful. Unfortunately, the blades are treating the Dragonborn like a foot soldier and sending her off to collect more stuff. I feel like the hierarchy has been inverted. You are absolutely right about Melka, she had a very slim chance of getting out of there at the start, and she destroyed that too with her wording. It was not a decap, it was a stab of some type. I loved your mentioning of Vilja and Sav. Thanks Grits! ####################### Aravi and Kharjo have been in the Rift as of late. They’ve explored quite a bit of territory over the course of a week (in game). In the northern reaches of the Rift, on the border of Eastmarch. High Hrothgar and the Throat of the World are visible. Windhelm, a city she’s yet to visit, was in view also, but not in that picture. Farther south, they found a large cave to explore. Inside, they were attacked by six bears at once. Aravi’s fast blades and Kharjo’s strong armor allowed the two of them to come out unscathed, and Kharjo seems to be surprised and thrilled.Taking a day out of exploring the more dangerous areas, Aravi swims in the warm waters of the lakes and rivers west of Riften.Sometimes a fight is unavoidable, and while she was exploring the woods near the bank of the river, she and Kharjo had to drive off some of the wildlife. Her day of exploring and swimming ended with a chilly rainstorm near Ivarstead. Kharjo has spotted the inn. There are warm fires and friendly faces inside. This post has been edited by King Coin: Jun 30 2012, 03:16 PM

@mALX: Good choices. I love the way those two turned out. Yep, there’s been a posing mod out for a while now. Thanks mALX! @Grits: I think that picture of Kharjo is one of my favorite screenshots of all time. The thing Aravi misses most about Cyrodiil is the warm water! Glad you like the torches screen, I liked the lighting. Thanks Grits! @Acadian: I was expecting the archery one to be your favorite, but I should have known better! Thanks Acadian! @SubRosa: He does look like that in the second pic! Aravi loves swimming, cat stereotypes aside. Part of how I got that picture was I zoomed the camera way out so it was still above the water before freezing the scene. It looks slightly different that way, and I think it makes looking up at the surface from below very pretty. I hadn’t seen that loading animation like that before either. That was an exercise in timing. Thanks SubRosa! ######################### Aravi and Kharjo start making their way to Winterhold, but don’t get very far before running into a problem on the road. So much for resting at the little town.11:33

If Aravi has tiger blood (and not in a Charlie Sheen kind of way) then it would make sense that she likes the water. My Freya does not especially like water, but she does not mind it either. She will sit on the rim of the tub when I take a bath and her tail will fall into the water. She does not bat an eye. Or she will stand directly under me as I dry off, with water dripping all over her, and not move an inch. I love how with 1.6 you can be underwater and look up to see the mountains and trees through the water. That is one of the coolest things of the newest version. Looks like Aravi found Karthwasten, and the good old Silver Bloods. I hated them the moment I met them. One of the things I like about the mine quest is that you can either go in and kill everyone, or you can talk the mercs out of there. However you want to play it. She Fus'ed him! That really did have me laughing out loud! Aravi does rock! Well, that did not take long. What is that weird spell with the red effects that Aravi was using? Was that a fear spell? It looks like it blows up, which has me confused. That was a weird fight on the road past Dragon Bridge. Was that a Stormcloak that ran past? I ran into one of those Wood Elf baddies who summons a flame astronaut with Andraste a few nights back. Where Calm does not work, trust your Ebony Bow! Am I the only one who sees the name Morthal and thinks Morthal Kombat!!! I always liked Jarl Idgrod's outfit.

Simple pleasures – I was struck by hearing a fly buzzing around a couple times; how neat! I agree that Aravi rocks! After her first opening fight, I liked how she used Kharjo and they worked for a time as a classic tank / archer-mage team. Nice shooting by A&K vs that wood elf. Oooh! An arson/homicide whodunit for Agent Aravi to solve!

This is so cool, King Coin. You truly capture the images of Aravi and her escapades through Skyrim. I honestly was able to look at the other images as well and I love it. Kharo and Aravi=lovers? I loved the confrontation between the nasty bird-women, the Hagravens. This one I like too. I enjoy the fact that Aravi is not your regular slay everyone and destroy everything type of person we sometimes come across. She's too cute and modest for that.

I always think of Khajiit catlike qualities as more tigerish than housecatly, so Aravi’s swimming seems perfectly natural to me! Wow, Aravi knows how to stand up to a bully! Atar was dealt with, all right. I’ve read that the advanced Illusion spells have an area effect, but I could not have imagined how Frenzy looks when you cast it. That is really neat. Like Acadian said, Aravi and Kharjo’s teamwork was a delight to watch. I’m surprised that flaming Stormcloak didn’t get involved in the road faceoff. That was some good shooting. Ah, Morthal. It’s polite to check in with the Jarl, but they always have something that needs doing! I like Jarl Ravencrone for some reason. Maybe it’s her very cool outfit. I think of this quest whenever I find a burned out house somewhere. Lots of sad stories to tell. I like how you started this one at the end of the video. I'm already looking forward to what happens next!

@SubRosa: What kind of cat is Freya? She sounds adorable! Aravi intended to go in there and talk them out, but when he threatened her like that, she lost her temper. The spell was supposed to be a fear spell, but I screwed up and it was frenzy. I think it was a stormcloak that ran past. So much for the proud Nord warrior getting rid of the elves. A flame astronaut! Thanks SubRosa! @Acadian: The buzzing fly was introduced by a mod. I’m glad you liked it, I use it for the same reason you liked. I didn’t realize it at the time, but you are right, they worked as the classic team that time. Thanks Acadian! @mALX: The wood elf was an enemy. Aravi’s been attacked the most by that enemy, but she’s been attacked by a high elf, an imperial, and a Breton. I think the wood elves still have something against Khajiit after their wars with each other. Thanks mALX! @LL: Thanks! Kharjo and Aravi are not yet lovers, but they are about as close as they can get without being lovers. Aravi is slow to accept a mate due to some past experiences, but she’ll come around eventually. I’m glad you think she’s cute, I think Skyrim Khajiit are perfect! Thanks LL! @Grits: She was not in a good mood that day, she wanted to talk them out of the mine, but when he threatened her, she lost her temper. I thought she had Fear ready, not Frenzy, so that’s why it wasn’t very effective. Oops. This one turns out to be a very interesting quest. Thanks Grits! ######################### Aravi goes to the burned house and finds someone still there.7:16 Just a note about the ending, Aravi finds the door locked and decides to come back at another time rather than breaking in. She’s diplomatic!

Freya is a high-tech computer cat. She is also ninja kitty, wild barbarian cat, writing kitty, and Lazor Cat!I have never understood where Bethesda got the atronach name. It looks like astronaut to me. So that is what I always think. So Aravi is going to investigate the burned down house. It's a ghost! Given all the horror movies/games whose main villain is a little girl, she is not exactly a comforting figure. I see Aravi has really built up her Illusion tree. Taking that Ranger perk for archery will be a big help though. It always annoys me that the player character is the only one in the entire world who moves slowly with a drawn bow. That was a simply lovely view of the night sky when Aravi went back looking for the little girl ghost. And Aravi found a not so little girl! The big boom shows that she was vampire. Now I guess it is time to go search Alva's house. Yep.

And Agent Aravi continues to sleuth the whodunit! Gosh the game did a nice job with the ghost girl. This is a very neat quest so far! On the subject of the atronachs, it does sound a little space age-ish; I would have expected the term golem. For SubRosa – so nice to see some more snappies of your beautiful black and white familiar!
