Prom night for college yesterday, verrrrry interesting.

Ended up in McDonalds (as per usual) at like 4am, where another drunk guy, completely at random, picked up on the fact I wasn't wearing a belt with my shirt and tie combo.

I went along with it for some friendly banter, until ANOTHER random guy from across the table stood up, walked up to the tie guy and started telling him to 'leave him [me] alone' and 'stop being a twat'.

They ended up staring each other down, and the McDonalds security guard had to seperate them!

So basically, two guys fought over me in McDonalds at 4am in the morning, and the moral of the story is, always, always wear a belt.

This had me in hysterics, especially the moral of the story, ROFL !! Glad the guy that was all tore up about your belt being missing didn't decide to fight you over the discrepancy !!!

Welcome to Chorrol, LL! (You're the second LL I know on a forum now. Wierd.)

And Illy, those are wise words. You never know when a belt might come in handy. If often have to use mine to fight lions, I find; a quick slap on the nose is often enough to send them on their way, if I'm feeling merciful and don't want to make another carpet out of them.

Welcome to Chorrol LL!

My computer is now working as it should, but I have to reinstall Windows 7. Luckily I only had a few games aside from the steam folders on the C drive.

On another note, I got my acceptance letter to my new gymnasium/high school the day before yesterday!

Thanks everyone! wub.gif

So this week I started practicing my driving. I drove on the highway for the first time yesterday and on the regular road today. I have some things to learn, but I am getting the hang of it.

The highway is what scares me the most even after driving for years. (That is probably why, I've seen too much happen on it, and always at fast speeds). URK !! I take backroads unless I'm going cross country.

Here’s a postcard from Grits World:

This morning The Boy leaped up mid-breakfast and dashed off. “I have to recharge my iPod,” he explained upon returning. “Last night after lights out hehe.gif I was watching a video about—it’s a physics thing. You wouldn’t understand.”

mellow.gif Really? Aren’t you supposed to be sneaking porn?

“And the guy was saying, We discovered the Higgs bo—and the power cut off.” He shook his fist at the sky. “Dammit! Somebody doesn’t want me to know about it!”

I think it's a red coffee cup kind of morning.

Saquira, congrats to you! goodjob.gif

LL, good luck on the driving. Build some good habits and they will serve your well. smile.gif

McB, Only a stent. . . ohmy.gif . I’m so glad it did not take more than that to get things running smoothly again for your father-in-law.

Grits, your postcards are always a set-down-my-coffee and enjoy moment! happy.gif
