QUOTE(Lord Aztien @ Nov 17 2012, 08:18 PM) I'm not exactly fond of elitist folks talking down on others for their opinions.
That is one of the initial reasons I started posting here last spring. None of that elitist crap goes on at Chorrol. It's also slower here. Topics take months to move off the front page (if they ever do) whereas it can take hours or even minutes for an interesting thread to get bumped off the front over at Bethsoft. QUOTE I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one planning an rp with the Dawnguard. As far as being a vampire hunter though I hope we do not cross paths in an unfortunate way. There may just be an epic battle for the ages.
Ha ha! Yeah, I'm having a blast with my Crusader. Feel free to write in the Today in Skyrim threads (there's one for spoilers, too) to report on what your character has been up to lately. Or you can write a full-fledged fan fic too, if you want.

QUOTE(Grits @ Nov 17 2012, 09:38 PM) Sounds like a great start, Lord Aztien! Welcome to Chorrol! I’m looking forward to reading your adventures. I’ve never found that Equilibrium spell. It sounds like something I would like to try, since it could drain your health until you die, right? I have an idea for a half-dead character inspired by Mason’s Revenant. I’m thinking that restorative magic and potions wouldn’t work on him, so it would be neat to incorporate swapping life force for magic. I don’t know anything about the blood mages, so this is very interesting to me. I have an Oblivion character who would love the Equilibrium spell (at least until he killed himself with it ). Yea I'm gunna do something similar where I can only restore the health that I've used with equilibrium through feeding as a vampire instead of the use of spells or potions. Kinda like only the blood of others can restore my own. This is until he actually learns the ability to use blood magic. QUOTE Ha ha! Yeah, I'm having a blast with my Crusader. Yea I'm thinking I might actually write my own fan fic but in a journal form that I'll be writing from Aztien's point of view. Kinda like as if he is documenting his own journey/ thoughts. Also I think later on in Aztiens journey could open up the possibility of my own "vampire hunter" his nemesis maybe. This post has been edited by Lord Aztien: Nov 18 2012, 04:57 AM

Greetings people. I am M'naris (khajit) and this is my story. When i was still a little whelp i was kidnapped by bandits in the night and brought to Cyrodil. There i learned that the khajit who raised me for 16 years were not my real parents but followers of the dark brotherhood who killed my real parents. The khajit who kidnapped me turned out to be my uncle J'zir. He teached me everything i needed to know to take revange on the dark brotherhood. After 6 years of training i wiped out the DBH in cyrodil (i thought) and returned to my uncles hide out. When i arived home i saw my uncle laying down in a pool of blood. Tears rolled down over my face when i walked to my uncle. I saw that he was still alive but in a bad shape. My uncle told me that a woman named astrid broke in and killed every one inside. I looked around and saw all the bodys of friends and family. I fell down on my knees crying and praying to akatosh that my uncle would survive. My uncle slaped me in the face and told me to look for some one named avor in skyrim. His hand layed down on y shoulder and looked me in the eyes and said: go now and kill astrid and avange me. He looked up to the roof and said: she stole my blade who was in my family for years "the blade of woe" i told him that i would go to cyridil and do as he asked me to. He looked at me and the light in his eyes faded when he died. I cried and said goodbye and prayed that akatosh would take mercy on his soul. I arived at the border of skyrim where i met avor. He told me that astrid leads the DBH in skyrim. When we walked to avors home in skyrim we met some stormcloacks and i learned everything about the war in skyrim. When we were near avors house some one called bormis wanted to see me. I told him that i would meet whit him the next day and me and avor went home. At avors home i learned about skyrim and it landscape and how to survive. Avors teatched me the basic skills of a bandit and how to hunt and survive. After a few months a courier gave me a letter from the stormcloacks. They said that the war has really begun and asked me to join the attack on helghen. 6 months later the stormcloacks were ready go attack when i joined them at the border to attack helghen, when out of nowhere 50 imperial soldiers attacked us and bound us. We were putted in a cariage about to be executed. At helghen a dragon attacked and burned down everything. Me and ralof escaped and ran to riverwood. In the night i raided the town and killed every one but ralof was long gone. I went back to avors house but when i arived i saw him death. Pierced whit 5 arrows and a piece of paper whit a black hand on it. From this day on i am looking for the dark brotherhood in skyrim whit no succes. Im raiding mostly fords becaus the roads of skyrim are mostle deserted. Im looking for people who want to hep me but i have no luck. I hope that i find some clues about the dark brotherhood soon so i can kill astrid and claim my uncles blade back. I am M'naris 33 year old khajit looking for revange and to destroy the dark brotherhood! If some one could give me some tips for being a bandit becaus i cant find travelibg people often well almost never D: im on a xbox so if some one could help me whit this part i can have even better adventures thx

I see travelers quite often, well ... more often than they appear in Oblivion/Cyrodiil, anyways. I think my idea for a bandit (in the OP) was to take over one of the bandit camps located by a main road, and then live there. Since the respawn rate in Skyrim is so much longer, it's possible to frequent the place without enemies coming back to take over the place. I would wait to see if any travelers pass by, and then if they don't, hey ... let's go for a walk to the nearest civilized area! See if we can't pickpocket or assault some citizens there.

Hmmm yhea good idea i captured that tower camp when you go from whiterun to ivarstead there walk some bards and some travelers (almost never btw) and you can go to whiterun or riverwood to raid there. What i did i took a companion let him wait on the tower (they fire if hostile people/animals get near and there are some beds and very close to whiterun and riverwood (ivarstead is a bit longer walk/ride but it is a option if you want to move on becaus near ivarstead there is abandit tower camp. So i just scout for good bases and i will post the names and locations and the things to do around it and hope that it will help you like it helped me. Good luck bandits Btw my khajit died becaus of a huge battle against 7 enemys on master dicficult then i walked out and got killd by a skeever.... Kind of ironic... A cat who gets killed by a rat :3 so i started over whit a other khajit named sahir ill type his story a other time hope you enjoy it :3

You'll be happy with my find then! Mistwatch does not respawn, if you side with the bandit leader in the small quest, All the bandits that you left alive become friendly, if you go straight for the tower that the chief is in you will have more bandit friends. I'm hoping the friendly bandits is not a glitch! xD

I think I've been in Mistwatch once with a semi-evil character who chose to side with the umbrella seller who is the bandit leader. You side with her, and she does not attack. I have seen several instances in this game, however, in which NPCs who should be enemies won't immediately attack. This includes several Necromancers who were on the road outside of a fort near Solitude, as well as several bandits in some other fort (sorry I can't remember the names of the places). My character went to attack them, and they just sat there eating dinner. He even tried looting some things right in front of them. No reaction. Just to clarify how odd this was, there were some bandits in that very same fort who happened to be hostile. I think in those cases they were glitches, but very welcome glitches. I like it that not everybody tries to attack us.

I like it that not everybody tries to attack us. Aravi (my Khajiit) would have a very difficult time attacking anyone that doesn't put up a fight. She would probably leave those bandits alone, and not even touch their stuff. She even has a hard time using the Calm spell on enemies and killing them like that. She's done it before, but she doesn't like it.

Heyo, so I'm new here, and I love the Elder Scrolls. This is a sort of backstory I've written up for a character I've been thinking about playing. Was reading some Shakespeare recently and decided to go for a sort of tragic path. Could post more info on him if anyone's interested. And sorry for so much text. In his elder age Audeius is beginning to look ahead at his time of death. He doesn’t feel ready to die, as he hasn’t settled down with a wife and has spent most of his life as a soldier and mercenary. He is a staunch supporter of the Imperials, and openly despises Stormcloaks and Stormcloak supporters. Upon learning that he is the Dragonborn so late in his life, he feels reinvigorated to start adventuring again. He is initially imprisoned by the Imperials for accidently shooting a Legionnaire while hunting, and is unfortunately put together with the Stormcloak prisoners at the beginning of the game. After much adventuring and faithful service to the Imperial Legion (helping them win the civil war), Audeius finally marries Camilla Valerius. Tragedy strikes one night though, as Audeius savagely beats Camilla to death in a blind drunken rage. Imprisoned for his crime, Audeius is overcome with grief and rage, and forsakes the Eight Divines for his self-inflicted misfortune. He leaves the comforts of home to dwell in the wilderness and seek forbidden knowledge to possibly return Camilla to him. He learns necromancy, and begins to worship the Daedra, or more specifically Molag Bal. Audeius becomes a master of resurrecting dark minions, and is further drawn to the Volkihar Vampire Clan to become a vampire lord. Audeius relishes his new-found power and mercilessly slays and feeds upon innocents. He gains a reputation all across Skyrim as an honorable Imperial turned evil incarnate. Confident in his vast power, Audeius assaults Solitude, the former place of authority and comfort to him, and lays siege to Castle Dour and the Blue Palace. After much bloodshed, he is finally slain by his former fellow Legionnaires. Audeius’ body is burned and he is written into the history books as the one who prevented the end of the world, only to himself fall into darkness and become Skyrim’s greatest threat.

I had an idea for a bandit assassin. The only way he can get in to any city is by sneaking in. If he goes to jail he must escape and not sleep his time off. He hangs out in conquered bandit camps/hunter camps. He raids travelers and avoids guard patrols. He can have a dog and a follower BUT the follower cannot be living in a walled city. He has no mercy and can join the Dark Brotherhood. He will have perks in sneak, archery, one handed, and light armor. He can smith as well as long as the forge is not within a city. He cannot have any armor more advanced than scaled armor. He cannot talk to any civilians. His race can be an Argonian, Nord, or an Orc. He cannot marry. I think this is a pretty cool character and I make it more real by taking off HUD, eating at least twice per day, and using the paper map
