I'm guessing the forums are coming back to life now that the holidays are over?

I think you and Elisabeth showing up brought back some life. They were pretty dead for quite a while, well before the holidays.


Unrelated:
I was going to play Skyrim for like 20-30 mins before going to bed... then a ******* Java update pulls focus away from my game abruptly, making the mouse totally unresponsive and I ended up logging out and logging back in just so I can tell Java to **** off!

Soo close to just uninstalling that ****.

KOB and I can run up the post count pretty well on our own. It's a lot more fun when there are others around!

My lie detector blew up years ago. I always used to steal cookies from the jar, and blame my sister on it



I hate it when your in the middle of something(especially writing a ten page essay) and the computer suddenly shuts down to update something and deletes all if your hard work.

Mine (Java) keeps sending me notices to update daily, isn't there a way to set it so it never bugs you and you can update it when you are darn good and ready to?

What kind of computer do you have?

Mine did that twice before I got mad and shut down Windows updates. Now it has to ask my permission, and keep its little notice down on my taskbar.

Well, normally it is good to let it update, especially now because Java has some problems that they need to fix, but on my computer it always tries to update, and never actually does. It always 'fails to download required files.' I have to manually go and get the latest version and install it myself.

Urk, do you have to delete the old one, or can you just download the new one and it will replace it? Also, what is the best secure site to DL it from? I've been ignoring my Java update for absolutely months now.

Only reason I know- some of the PCs I work on require a SPECIFIC version for a key program, and will not work right if Java gets its way and updates every 3rd day or so.
