laugh.gif Lush and Gaudy is definitely my gardening style. Too bad its mostly deer-bitten and weedy lately. tongue.gif This camellia bush is at the corner of the house, so the deer leave it alone. My favorite red flowering one at the edge of the woods didnt even get any buds this year. Just gnaw marks!

I brought in an ice leaf. We could have used it for a dish. (It melted.)

Lucky. My backyard is covered in ice, so whenever I take the dog out I end up slipping and busting my a**

I'm getting kind of tired of the snow, this is what Stockholm's been looking like for the past months. Well, the suburbs. And it was worse with the snow storm in December. Temperatures have been around -5 to -20 degrees celsius. Sure, it looks pretty, but it's a hell getting anywhere. These pictures are from a walk I took around the lake the day before yesterday.

Oh, pretty! Our local governments approach to snow removal is to wait for it to melt, which I see wouldnt work so well where you live. smile.gif

Haha no, if that was the approach our government had to snow removal, most of Sweden would probably be at a standstill for several months a year, except for the farmers who've got their own tractors and the people with four-wheel driven cars.

The UK's response to snow is run around waving it's arms in the air until it falls over...

It is very pretty. See in the winter here for the past several years, it just gets cold and dreary. So I'd like some snow.

I think we're going to get freezing rain today.
