Borderland on the other hand is a great title. The art style kind of put me off, but it is a ton of fun to play, especially with friends.

Metro 2033 is finished! Christ, the ending of that game is wierd as hell...

And now onto finishing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, as part of my New Year's Resolution to finish my back catalogue of uncompleted games.

I've been staying home for two weeks, recuperating after an operation. To keep myself entertained, I bought the latest hitman (haven't touched it yet) and I also downloaded SWTOR, not expecting a whole lot from it - it's the first online game I ever gave a chance.

What can I say, I like it. Quite a bit. It's nothing like KOTOR 1+2, of course, but then, I never expected that. I like that you can play it completely on your own, without worrying about some whackos killing you for no good reason. It's got many classes and races for characters and it has skill trees that give it a real RPGish feeling. Also, in some places, the dialog is pretty good for such a game. And there's a surprising amount of it - far more than in Oblivion, anyway.

I also like that you can play it for free wink.gif

I've hated that game since the last update. Their changes to the world seed are retroactive so my world with a gigantic sprawling castle that I spent weeks building is now within a snowy climate. All water freezes and snow falls all over everything. kvleft.gif

Just (finally!) started playing the orginal Fallout. It's a very good game, and I'm enjoyingthe turn-based combat a lot; makes me think of a turn-based D&D with guns and mutants, and it's pretty damn fun.

Hello! I recall you from the Official forums with Niamh. You were always posting screen shots.

I had to google that game, someone in one of my IT classes plays that all through the lecture. Lol.

I'm playing lots of Skyrim with a little Borderlands 2 and Dark Souls mixed in. And some Creation Kit! (if you can call that playing)

I am now playing X-Wing. As with Tie Fighter, there is a fan made patch out there that will allow you to install it on a 64-bit OS. For a 20 year old game, it is still lots of fun.

I read about this game in the last Game Informer (or maybe it was 2 issues ago) sounds interesting.

It's a lot of fun, but difficult. The more people you kill, it affects the health of the city... the more you sneak, the less guards, etc etc.

It's challenging. And then when you get your weapons taken away, you're like... crap, lol

Nope, it's linear. You have a mission, you do it, and the game is won.

It's ALL in first person too, which makes me nauseated at times with shooters. Hence why I always opt for the swords he uses instead of the crossbows.
