QUOTE(Elisabeth Hollow @ Feb 7 2013, 05:38 PM) No plans for v-day. I've never done anything for v-day that I can remember. I do have various adult things to do, lol. Like work. Okay, so not VARIOUS. Just work.
Haha, well working is cool Luckily I booked my birthday off work so I don't have to worry. I've never really been a big fan of v-day itself; mainly because i usually only celebrate it as my birthday haha.

QUOTE(Eva @ Feb 7 2013, 12:36 PM) So what plans does everybody have for valentines day?
It’s Thursday, right? I’ll probably make a steak dinner for everyone and we’ll eat the chocolates that The Boy brings home for dessert. The girls in his class are all over-achievers, so he gets a lot of cute stuff for holidays. Valentine’s Day is pretty much the last day I would consider going out. I think the last time we did was when Mr. Grits and I were first married. He took me to a nice restaurant. It was packed and noisy. We decided to return the earrings he got me so I could have a mechanic figure out why my car was leaking oil (we were broke), and that since we were both a sure thing we should skip dessert and just go home. It was a good decision.

QUOTE(Grits @ Feb 7 2013, 01:56 PM) QUOTE(mALX @ Feb 7 2013, 01:46 PM) Valentines Day is one of my favorite "special days" due to the CHOCOLATE candy in heart shaped boxes.
Oh, definitely. And the heart-shaped chocolate in big crinkly bags. *crinkle crinkle* Just so long as it is CHOCOLATE, that's what matters...wait, heart-shaped chocolate in crinkly bags? Are you...are you talking about chocolate covered pretzels? URGH! GROSS!

Lol, I think I did enough damage with the butterscotch chips! Here you go: Not pretzels, NOT CRICKETS! My mouth is still watering from just hearing about the brownies with butterscotch chips, lol. How many days ago did that post?

QUOTE(Grits @ Feb 7 2013, 02:34 PM) Can't have been long, there's still most of the pan left. That's why the bag of chocolates isn't open yet!! Okay, I looked it up. Well, it was just yesterday that you posted it, but it feels longer. It gave me a craving for sweets, so if I gain even an ounce from the ice cream sandwich I ate to tide me over, I am going to name it Grits, lol!
