There's supposed to be a blizzard tomorrow. I'm flipping out

I'll probably stay inside. By the fireplace. Where its warm. The kids can scream ALL they want, I'm not going outside without a valid reason.

I wish I was getting a huge blizzard. Then I would have a valid reason to request an extension in an assignment.

They're sending me a snow packet. I have work to do anyway, plus this weeks homework, plus a long term project on the entire history of WWI and WWII! I hate school!

Bloody weather...So coooold...Anyone would think it was winter or something!... ...

At least y'all's is consistent. It was cold for about 2 weeks, then the weather decided to become bipolar. Cold one day, hot the next, today was almost 80 degrees, it felt. Last week I was standing outside, sweating, when all of a sudden a wind picked up and the temperature dropped like 20 degrees XD

I caught a shoplifter today XD

He was trying to stick some frozen stir-fry in a bag down his pants. I stood there for a full 30 seconds, in FULL few almost next to him, watching him try to get the food in his pants before he noticed me. When he noticed he goes "My bad." and hands me the food. I said "You really want me to touch that after you tried to stick it down your pants?" I take it and he leaves. I'm going to my store in the morning to alert my boss about him.

My nephew woke me up this morning by sitting on my chest and screaming "SNOW!"

The only problem I had with him doing that is that it was 5:00 in the morning




he could have at least try not to get caught. Watch out for him though. I bet you he'll come back for more stir-fry when he gets hungry again.

That guy is an idiot, he probably goes to banks and robs pens. Doesn't he know you are supposed to steal the most expensive cut of meat they have?

In Miami the thieves used to take the meat right to the Customer Service Counter (never leaving the store so it wasn't shoplifting). On the way there they would open the package and slap dirt on it, then pretend they were returning it - loudly demanding their money back because the meat had dirt on it.

Most of the stores have security cameras in the ceiling like they have in casinos, you wouldn't believe some of the stuff we've seen people doing on those videos!

KWAFAHAHAHAHAHA!

It was nearly freezing and rainy at the bus stop this morning. (I go out and stand with The Girl to keep her company and so we can chat about things away from the fellows.) Anyway she forgot first one thing and then another, causing her to dash between the house and my umbrella while shivering and squeaking. So of course I shouted, “Run, [b-word]! Run!” at her. Right when our cutest neighbor was jogging by. D’oh!!!

Elisabeth, I think I would have been tempted to make him eat the trouser vegetables. When I worked in retail most of our inventory shrinkage was due to employee theft. There was the stock guy who filled up his Bobby Brown pants with more pants, the manager from another store caught with a shirt stuffed into her travel coffee mug, and my favorite the assistant manager who took a $5 bill (back when $5 bought more than a coffee) from the register every time she worked. She had recently graduated from Wellesley. Maybe she didn’t make it to the “How Not To Cover Your Gas Bill” class.

I just kept saying "REALLY?!" Like I can't friggin' hear you grunting and the bag being squished?!

I love winter time. Everything gets slower and more calm. The snow and cold is truly beautiful and when you´re as much in the woods as I am, you appreciate the complete lack of ticks, bugs and snakes!
