I am told that one of the recent patches makes Lydia less annoying by reducing or stopping her from saying "I'm sworn to carry your burdens." I think she ought to marry Phintias from Oblivion, then he could reply with his acidic "Good Day."

Does it stop her from standing over your bed while you attempt to sleep? Or limit the number of times she sits/then stands, shouts while you are sneaking, charges into fights while you are sneaking? (etc. infinium), ROFL !!!!

Unless you married Lydia, in which case you thank the gods and don the "Mara" necklace again? BWAAHAA!!!!

What do have against Lydia?

Do I need to post the vid? Lol.

DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!

Wait, is it the one where she gets launched into space by a giant?

No, and can't find the one I wanted where the Dark Brotherhood assassin is trying to sneak with Lydia behind him, so I got this example:

That's why I don't have followers.

But it does beg the question: Why are you trying to sneak with a follower decked out in heavy armor? If I know I'm playing a stealth character then Lydia and the other housecarls are right up there next to Ahtar, Stenvar, and the Companions twins as characters I wouldn't dream of schlepping around.

I still think Onmund is the PERFECT follower. He sneaks when you sneak, won't attack unless you do, and stands back and lets your share the glore up close while he strikes from afar.

It doesn't matter if your follower screams at the top if THIER lungs. The enemy won't notice them unless they aren't sneaking rollinglaugh.gif

J'Zargo is my absolute fave...

Same level as I am allegedly... biggrin.gif ...

Plus, now that I've gotten that lovely new perk from Dragonborn, I never have to worry about him again... biggrin.gif ...

Yeah it is a very useful perk IMO. Probably one of the better ideas that Bethsoft has had DLC wise.

How funny it is looking through this with the spoiler text boxes.

I should probably not come here anymore anyways. It'll be a long time before I get to play Dragonborn.

I thought I'd heard all of J'zargo's quota of companion lines...Y'know, "Something smells foul." or "By the Twin Moons!" or my absolute fave, "Aaaah, J'zargo feels like he just woke from a nap..." biggrin.gif ...

But, this morning I got a new one...It was "Aaaargh! What are you doing?!!? Stop it!"...

As the wife was on the computer at the time and didn't see what prompted said outburst, she "Oo-er! What the heck* are you doing to him? biggrin.gif "

Weeelll, maybe shooting a fireball at the oil in front of us and failing to notice the puddle we were standing in was a teeeny bit of an oversight. laugh.gif ...In my defence, it was covered with spiderwebs!!...

EDIT!!!...I saw my very first Silt-Strider today...Oh my goodness they're wonderful!!...You can't use it to travel, but it was glorious!!...

And I'm absolutely never hunting Netches...Never mad.gif ...They're just beautiful things...

Silt Strider? ohmy.gif

My new thing of the day: we all know how we can't see through windows, right? But they do allow light to filter in from the outside?. Well I had no idea this light actually changes in real-time thoughout the day and night.

Mycharonna spent a few hours in Pinewatch (not waiting, but just standing there in real-time) and it was the first time I watched a 'sunset' from indoors, as the light coming through the windows went from deep orange to reddish to blue.
