Which is why I, even though I´m not a doctor in any way, don´t consider ADHD something that needs to be "treated". It´s not their fault our brains are slower

I agree, not treated with drugs at least. ADHD people have the fastest running brains on the planet, we should be finding out how we can get ours to run that fast instead of trying to slow theirs down. Until then we have to find work-arounds so they can meet their potential (which is a lot higher than they realize) and not slip through the cracks of our school systems.

If you ask me, the whole school system is meant to dumb us down by design. We´re not meant to be fast-thinking citizens because then we become a threat to those in power.

Dude, if we tried to dumb down the population we wouldn't get a large enough recruitment pool of good talent to draw from and we'd end up weakening our own system. That's just stupid.

I mean, that's what they would do, if there was a large, shadowy organisation running things in the shadows. Which there totally isn't, by the way. And if there was (and here, I must stress, there isn't) I wouldn't be a part of it.

As somebody who has been diagnosed with ADHD I feel that the issue is that your mind often races constantly and makes it difficult to focus on things you actually want or need to focus on. Now that I'm older and in my 20's it is easier to manage but when I was a teenager it was very difficult.

You need to constantly be tapping your foot or moving around as well which makes it difficult to function as a normal member of society. Everything around you is a distraction.

The medication doesn't help though. It makes it hard to eat, gives you stomach cramps, causes depression, and causes withdrawls if you stop taking it all at once.

Yup, never taking ADHD medicine. I don't need my depression to get worse

Oh, I forgot a biggie = nitrates. Hot dogs/baloney/etc. - not good for ADHD. Best if possible to eat non-processed foods whenever possible.

I need to clear out my fridge then
